I remember watching anime as a child and never realizing
it. Actually, Sailor Moon was the first series that I knew to
be from Japan. How can you not take notice of their large
eyes and small mouths? And they're so animated, too.
Li'l, bouncy- bounce Usagi/ Serena got old reall' fast, while
the supporting characters saved the beginning of the series.
And then Chibi- Usa/ Rina joined the ranks and everything
went downhill from there, until more scouts were thankfully
revealed. But the American version took the original series
and chopped it into teeny- tiny pieces, removing what could
mentally "scar our country's youth." *shakes her head and
sighs*
So lesbians are bad, but cousins that dress the same and
spend far too much time together are perfectly okay. Yeah,
sure, whatever you say. :/

Hmmmm, my first anime was either Sailor Moon, or DBZ.Both are pretty outdated now, and whenever I watch an episode, I go "Did I really watch that?" Now I watch a whole bunch of stuff like Naruto, Furuba, FMA, Ouran, and stuff like that.

I don't know how long ago it was but I remember my first one was the Escaflowne movie. followed very shortly by Battle Angel aka Gunnm. and then i got into the tv DBZ

The first anime I ever watched was Cardcaptor Sakura. They were showing it on Cartoon Network. At the time I didn't know it was the Americanized version....I got to know about that when Animax came here. 3nodding
I remember liking the way the characters were drawn, they were much better looking than the other ones.
My favourite character was Li. 4laugh

Mine was either Lupin the 3rd or Voltron... Old school ftw! I'm not even that old, but they were on tv when i was little.
