because i have to learn it for my degree in teaching here in the US !! YUCK! and Tagalog so that i could talk to my best friend and understand her when she yells at her maids lol

Well, I'm learning japanese right now. Ima wa Nihongo o naraimasu. ( I think that's how you say it) and next year i think i'm going to learn french.
I really want to know vietnamese! I know it takes like what 8 years to learn the whole thing but i like languages and wouldn't mind!

Japanese, arabic, and russian. i am curently taking russian in school, and I will be taking japanese, and arabic over the summer.

Dominique Devlin I'd like to learn Japanese, Italian and Gaelic. ._. Same here, and perhaps relearn/learn more Spanish too.. 3nodding
Wouldn't it be great if you went to a country and you automatically could communicate in their language? xp

I know it takes like what 8 years to learn the whole thing but i like languages and wouldn't mind! almost right this i must point out: the "wa" you used in hiragana would be "ha" but the "ha" would be pronounced "wa" confusing isn't it?

German, Yiddish, Dutch.
In that order.
Thought Dutch, German, Yiddish would be a far more logical order... But I started German first... And now I'm confused. Hmm. Forget this.

I'm vietnamese but, i would like to learn japanese korean, mandarin and maybe some cantonese
