...A little about the soquili...

Asami is a fun loving mare who looks at the positive side of just about everything and everyone. Nothing can bring her down. If it is a cloudy day, she enjoys the fact that there is shade out that day or that the earth is getting the water it needs. Because she is lonely most of the time, Asami goes on adventures to get her mind off of her loneliness. She doesn't stay in one place for too long (she either gets bored of it, or feels lonely). At times, she still acts like a tomboy and doesn't mind getting her hooves dirty. Everything in life to her is just about as perfect as could be, minus being alone at times.

Past:
Asami was raised by two loving parents, Tohru and Kyo. Their family was almost perfect. She was surrounded by males, minus her mother of course, almost all of the time. Her brothers were rough and treated her as though she were one of the boys. Because of this, she has grown up to be a bit of a tomboy. Every now and then, she would slip away to enjoy quiet time by herself and not rough house with her two brothers. She knows deep down they love her, but sometimes she feels the two of them hate her. When she was old enough to take care of herself, she left her parents' watchful eyes, partly because the way her brothers treated her and partly because she simply wanted to explore the world. Now, she is traveling alone and at times feels a bit lonely.








Past

Asami was raised by two loving parents, Tohru Honda and Kyo Soma. Their family was like any other family out there. The boys caused mischief and mayhem, while Asami simply tried to keep up with her two brothers. They were rough when it came to playing and were much faster than the smaller filly. She constantly compared herself to her brothers and grew up to be a bit of a tomboy.

Every now and then, Asami would slip away from the commotion with her brothers to enjoy a bit of quiet time by herself. Although Asami knows that deep down her brothers love her, she sometimes felt as though they hated her.

When Asami was old enough to take care of herself, she left her parents' watchful eyes. She wanted to learn what the world had to offer for her and to prove to herself that she could make it off better than her brothers. Now, she travels the soquili lands, trying to find herself. At times, she feels lonely and wishes that one day she can settle down.

Over the top curious. In your face. Not afraid of anything or anyone, especially her brothers. Compares herself to her brothers. Tries to be like one of the boys. Anything you can do I can do better.


Young Adult Asami
Not afraid of anyone or anything. Not as curious and in your face. Calmer, but still a little wild. Still compares herself to her brothers. Tries to continue to be better than them, especially Iyami. She is better than any male out there.


Adult Asami
Calms down mentally. Realizes that not everyone is nice and that some people cannot be trusted. Believes that most soquili have good in them. She starts to realize that she can't compete with everyone she meets. Starting a family starts to be in her interest.


Elderhood

She learns to accept herself for who she is. All soquili have good in them. Some just have it deeper than others. Although she doesn't have a family, she is happy with who she has become and continues to hope for a possible family in the future.
