The assailant was getting restless. Reckless. She's probably coming to the gravity she's short on time. That was at the very least good news. Bad news was the more desperate of ploys she's trying to actually succeed in her mission and the more Freth started to be convinced she wasn't taking this one alive. She'd have to make do with what she got and just put the rest of Snagems on alert from here on. She too bolted with agility, snatching the assailant's thrusting arm with her free hand. "That is the last time you touch him!" She declared, pulling the assailant back, thrusting Hinterbane for the assassin.

And suddenly, uncharacteristically, the blade strikes home. Crimson mingles with azure as the hunter's blood leaks down the sword, impaled through her midsection. Hinterbane had grown far too strong for her to block and Freth was too fast for her to avoid. A look of desperate surprise and horror crosses the shaded eyes of the would-be assassin as she staggers backwards, two hands falling to the wound in her stomach for a moment. Her eyes, rimmed with the horned blackness of the Galarian Articuno flicker briefly, black and lifeless for a second before a seething rage burns into existence in the depths of them. Rather than try and remove herself from the sword, she pulls herself further onto the blade, extending more of the weapon through herself and out the back in almost a futile desperation not to get to her target. Rather, she seems more concerned about getting close to Freth.

"I still don't know who you are but you have made..." *cough* She chokes mid sentence, wheezing on her own words. "....a tremendous.... mistake. It's not just my blood on your hands..." She emphasizes, taking Freth's hands in her own while still firmly gripping the pommel impaling herself. "...but the entire world's..." She squeezes the triangular mesh metal hand firmly onto the other female Articuno's. Freth would feel a small pinprick of pain on the back of her hand briefly and would see the hunter's eyes flash a violent purple briefly, their eyes connecting for the briefest of instances before Hinterbane does its dirty work, the powerful artifact absorbing the Galarian Articuno hybrid's life force. She slumps back, collapsing on the blade - her last hunt put to rest for the moment. One hundred nineteen hunts, the one hundred twentieth turned out to be the final storm for her. A real Blizzard 120, if you would.

Freth stared in confusion for a second as the assailant, albeit dead to rights admittedly, practically welcomed the blade more into her own torso, though not without a declaration. She was the cause the world is doomed? Freth then jumped, feeling the p***k, she tears the sword out and kicks her down to the ground. She looked for a second, still confused, but then instinctively plants the sword back into the ground for a second, only to scratch at where she was pricked at. "...the hell was all of this about?" Freth said to herself, picking the sword up once more.

Claydol finally made it back and with a nod to the earthen doll teleports significant other off the field. "Thanks for the help guys." Freth said, rather deadpan now. There was a lot of clean-up needed to be done...

Just as Blizzard and Claydol were snatched away through space and time the Dark One himself would appear on the horizon, riding on the back of a Pelipper that was flying as fast as it could. The bird frantically made it up to Freth, Sub jumping off before they even got to Feth, running up to the hybrid and stopping only for a second to catch his breath before he spoke. "What happened!?" Was all he could figure to say, gazing around to observe the damage of their battle, noting the still frozen Horus and a smashed SNAG, likely lost in the beginning of the fight.

"GRAY said something about a bounty hunter or something after Blizzard and I came as quick as this thing would take me...which is not that fast. No offense." He told the new capture behind him, who only squawked in response. Didn't understand him anyways. "Next thing I know the fight is being aired on a blimp!" That part wasn't news to Freth, it's how she found out after all. But it does bring up questions about Rose. His drones were watching, they always were, he had to be aware of that woman's intent to kill Blizzard. Speaking of...

"...ice." Was all Sub said, pointing at the body of the bounty hunter, the corpse rapidly and spontaneously transforming its self into ice and soon enough it would look like nothing more than an ice sculpture. Likely from the residual Elemental energies in the sword and herself going haywire, attempting to claim something, anything, even a lifeless corpse. Walking over to the 'ice sculpture' Sub kicked it and watched it fall over, shattering. Guess that was the end of the 'bounty hunter'.

"How is Blizz? Is he-" Sub's question to Freth would be cut off as a blimp showed up overhead, blaring a broadcast, loud and clear for them, and all others, to hear. He had a feeling though it was especially for them, the screen showing Sub and Freth just standing here as they were.

"We apologize for technical difficulties cutting out our feed in this area. It was a whirlwind of excitement though folks as Snagem leader Sub arrived on scene to call Freth back into the Wild Area via Roto-drone, the lady hybrid swooping in to save her beloved from that villainous criminal who dared to ruin the World Champion Cup! While Freth was able to defeat this ne'er-do-well the Cold One was injured in the fight and had to be evacuated for a medical emergency. On behalf of Galar and the global community we would like to extend our thanks to Freth for stopping this intruder from ruining this unifying global event. Get well soon, Blizzard and we hope to see a lot more from Freth now that she is back in the game!" Rose's voice spoke over the live feed of them standing there.

So that was it then. Rose was spinning another incident gone wrong in order to save his precious event and ratings. Sub didn't say anything, he just looked at Freth to see what her reaction would be. He was kind of afraid of finding out that answer.

"Of all the mother fu-" Freth had to cut herself off just then, having to listen to Rose spin rather grossly the events which transpired. So yay, Freth's back in the game, presumably not until Cufant and Hitmonchan is back on their feet. Bad news, Snagem is down one member because of some assassin. Freth sighed out, picking the sword back up. "Blizzard is in poor shape. Doc is...probably going to have his work cut out for him this time. S22 didn't even give him this kind of a beating; he wasn't even moving or responding. We'll need to talk later. There's more to it than..." Freth kicked about the ice that was left over from what remained of the assassin. "...this that I managed to find out off hand."

Looking at the ice for a moment longer he turned back to face Freth and nodded. Motioning for Pelipper he climbed back onto the bird upon arrival. "I guess all we can do is keep carrying on. Hopefully we'll hear from Doc soon about Blizz. You sure you're okay after that fight? I mean, you look fine." He said, looking Freth up and down. Poor Blizzard wasn't so lucky though. "I guess just try to stay away from any Trainer's Eyes and maybe look for a berry tree to get your Pokemon at least coherent again. We're headed for Team Galar's campsite in the north. The least we can do is make sure Blizz's contribution doesn't go to waste." And with that said the Dark One took off on the back of his bird headed towards Motostoke Riverbank.

When Sub and Freth were out just a bit, reality in the area where the two had been began to warp and ripple before tearing open, a brilliant wormhole opening up, this one looking more stable than the one from the previous day, though. A glowing light yellow person zoomed out of it on some sort of plank before jumping off, the plank disintegrating like a sand monument in the wind once they left. As the glow on the person dimmed, they turned around and slashed the air right in front of the wormhole, closing it almost immediately. Once that business of making sure nothing else came through behind them, the person then turned their greater attention back to their surroundings, the most notable thing of attention there being the frozen ice sculpture that was once an interdimensional bounty hunter. One of their golden fingernails tapped the ice, their short white cat ears going flat against their head as the apparent hybrid thought about what could have possibly happened for this one to meet their end. “You’ve got to have been the one I was trailing, you’ve got the scent of Ultra Space and other dimensions on you… Rather, your sculpture now. They must have had back up this time, though. Hm… Could it be that lot,” she asked herself quietly looking at the shrinking forms of Sub and Freth, bright blue and white eyes narrowing to show off more of the inky darkness full of stars that was the top half of her face, grabbing one of the few locks of white hair that lay in front of her shoulders and twirled it with one of her black fingers.

“Regardless, we’re here for a hot minute… Wherever here is, this time. Definitely not Alola. Too cold for Alola. And not enough salt on the wind. Hm…” She closed her eyes for a moment, where they should be disappearing into a thin blue line as the hybrid thought on her next actions. “Now then, what’s our next move? Should I follow them?... Aw heck, any other Snagems from elsewhere have been fairly interesting as well. Why not.” She crossed her arms underneath the giant white shawl she was wearing that covered up her entire upper body just about, edged with golden trim and decorated with gold cloth tassels. “I want to see what members they have in this reality as well, so let’s go.” The hybrid would begin to follow the path the two Snagem members took, though at a slower pace and on foot. As long as no one had looked back, she wouldn’t be on anyone’s radar, and she wanted to keep it like that for as long as possible.
