This is based off of those milk carton / bottle drawings that were popular on Instagram for a while there. I noticed that most of those artists made sure to fill up the majority of space within the bottle. That was often done with clouds. .... Since my beer foam looked like clouds, I couldn’t do that. And anything else I thought of would’ve been equally confusing. I guess i could’ve had the plants grow out of the beer. XD;;; I’ll make an update eventually
I’d been wanting to play with a lily pad drawing for a long time so... this one got all the tricks I have. XD The non compressed version’s sparkles look better but~ oh well. I’m so happy it turned out. x3

Day 48 Key West About 30 mins
Key limes since they’re the first thing I think of when I think Key West. This was made using the same style as my lemon from the beginning of the event. One motivation behind it was for myself to see the improvement in my left hand drawing.
I haven’t done the blurred bg trick much this year and I love how it works so instantly. XD So much return for so little effort. Speaking of little effort, I was so done by the time I finished the ladybug so I made up a random leaf I put a lot of effort into the ladybug tho. I had the gold dragonfly brooch on my mind (drawn earlier) so I wanted to try a silver-based ladybug brooch. I tried to color the silver, keeping reflections in mind. Same for the glitter. I’m sure it’s something I’ll look back at one day and scoff at how poorly I colored the silver but.... considering that I never color shiny metals, I’m proud of what I had to juggle without ref
Mix of right and left hand Attempted to mimic some watercolor and left in my flaws since if I made a mistake digitally, it likely would’ve been worse irl XD;
