[PRP] An Education in Straps (L’nik, Shahera, & dragons)

While tangentially aware of the antics that L'nik was up to, Hessianth actually looked towards the pair for a moment before chuckling. They're a little distracted at the moment, anyways.Come, he moved his wing from where he'd tucked it over Therianth earlier before shifting to get up and taking a few steps ahead. Maybe they'd be able to find some trouble to get into that didn't push her injuries.

The fact that Hessianth was heading off registered only a certain degree with L'nik who was a bit more focused on Shahera right then. When she pulled away, he took a moment to study her face. "It's a good one to wander off of," he answered, voice low. Then, he pulled her back in to kiss her again, moving from her lips, to her jaw, to that neck he'd neglected earlier.

Therianth laughed. They do seem that way. Therianth stood up and moved to follow Hessianth. She wasn’t sure what they would find, yet she was sure it would be interesting. It always was with Hessianth.

Shahera leaned into the kiss and hummed appreciatively as L’nik started exploring. Her hands were also exploring and she started tugging on the shirt again. She wanted to touch skin not fabric. Part of her was aware of the exposed nature of their chosen place and that analytical part wondered how much of an exhibitionist L’nik was. She had a feeling he had forgotten where they were. Finally she asked, “Should we be finding somewhere a little less exposed and a little more comfortable?” She hoped he said yes. She would be rather annoyed at this point if he said ‘stop.’

"Let me just..." L'nik shifted his hold on her to pull one arm out of a sleeve, then he same on the other side. Easier to take it off, so he was gleaning from how Shahera toyed at it, when he wasn't so securely wearing it. Her question had him looking around, noting just how exposed they were now that their dragons had gotten up to take a nice long walk together. Hmmm. "Definitely more comfortable," he agreed, pondering the best options for where they were.

It was out of the way, but not absolutely ideal. "Any ideas or should I improvise?"

[IDK, felt like a safe fade-out on the dragons like 'HAVE FUN STORMING THE CASTLE!']

Shahera leaned back to give L’nik more room to maneuver and she approved of this development with the shirt. She quickly tugged it over his head before replying, “improvise” for two reasons. She didn’t want to stop and she was curious how he would. That annoying analytical part of her brain that she really wanted to shut up piped up again. It was right though. “We better grab the riding straps if we are going somewhere else.” She wouldn’t want to lose them.

Right. The straps. L'nik looked down at them and it was obvious from the look on his face he was trying to decide on something. "Just hold on for a sec," he said, shifting his hold on Shahera to be one-armed and dipping her just enough for him to grab the straps and toss them so they rested over his shoulder on the same side.

As for improvising, he knew a few places, so he'd look there first. Assuming, of course, they didn't get spotted between here or there....

Shahera obligingly wrapped her arms around L’nik’s shoulders and held on. She automatically shifted her weight around as she was dipped to keep them both from toppling over as he picked up the straps. His shirt was still dangling from one of her hands so they had all the pieces now. She idling wondered if he would carry her the entire way as she waited to see what his improvised plan was. Deciding to give him a little incentive to get moving she leaned in and nibbled on his neck.

The nibbling was very motivating. Heading back towards the Weyr was absolutely not in the cards for L'nik. The day was going to be lazy enough with tired riders that he suspected most wouldn't come out as far as he and Shahera were so he suspected at worst? Candidates. But with Hessianth and Therianth up the way, as long as they didn't get too distracted in each other, there would be little to have in ways of a surprise. Not that he suspected they would with where he was headed.

Secluded was a nice word for the area, if not still a bit exposed if one were to be adventurous. It was obviously the type of a place found by a kid trying to avoid trouble once, all overgrown, yet with a distinct hidden clubhouse sort of quality to it. "I've had plenty of time to explore," he said, though his current exploration had been Shahera, clearly.

Shahera was busy as L’nik moved them around, exploring what she could while holding on. Once they were in the more secluded area she paused. “You will have to show me all the interesting places you found.” She liked to explore new lands. Which brought her back to the present exploration. “Some other time though. Right now I have my own interesting things to show you.” And she was kissing him again.

"I'm sure we'll find the time," L'nik murmured before her lips caught his again - but that would be for later. There were far more interesting things to be explored right here, after all.
