As a bronze and blue pulled firmly into the lead, Huarangith continued to fly in a showy, although not especially fast manner, displaying the marked difference between his warm brown back and his ember-colored underside in flashes as he twirled and spun through the air with a grace and artistry rarely demonstrated at any other time by this particular dragon. With the chase drawing to a close, he was putting himself out there, flying to impress as much as to catch.
The fact was, Huarangith had not anticipated this flight and had eaten hardily beforehand. Flinging his well-fed mass through the air was not conducive to speed, and he was unlikely to emerge victorious. Even as he delighted in the flight, he was tiring and lagging behind.
In the middle of one maneuver which almost certainly would have caused R'bin to black out if he'd been riding Huarangith at the time, the brown dragon was reminded of the presence of a second green in this flight. He did not shift his attention and begin to pursue her, but he did notice her with appreciation. She was flying very well, and he absolutely would not have considered catching her a consolation prize.

The flight was taking it's toll on her limited stamina. Every wingbeat felt like her body was lighting up light a storm. The blue was on her tail, closer than even the bronzes who had chased. Zaleeth was turning, diving into a wide drop--and taking Cloveth's gaze with her. The first time the lovely green had dove, she had been close. Now she was much closer.
With a deep, sweet croon, the bright green followed her down. Twisting to gently curl around Zaleeth. Oh, bright, shining dear. You danced for all those boys so well. Might we take our leave of them? It's punctuated by a wave of warmth and flightlust, protective feelings to curl close with her and not quite willing to let go.
