"Wow!" Keiko giggled. "You two must have worked on that move a lot! I'm impressed!" She was lying, of course, but there was more than one way of going easy on someone.
"Cutie, let's blow them away with our synergy, too! Try using Silver Wind!"
Cutie would respond by flapping her wings intensely, creating a Bug-type energy-laced wind that would push at Zigzagoon. Given the attacks it has suffered, there didn't seem to be much chance of it to not faint from this attack.

Given the attacks it has suffered, there didn't seem to be much chance of it to not faint from this attack. The gust of buggy wind would blow against the little Normal type, picking it up off the ground and sending it tumbled away. Once the Zigzagoon landed it would be knocked out cold. "Aw man! We lost." The kid complained as he recalled his Pokemon. "You're really good ma'am! You and your funny Pokemon are awesome!" He cheered for them both. Despite losing he seemed rather happy that he at least put up a fight. (Cutie +0.5 Evo Point.)

"Thank you," Keiko smiled as she recalled Cutie. "You did pretty good, yourself. Don't worry about losing, though. Just keep practicing, and before you know it, Ziggers will be a lot stronger! Don't forget to catch other Pokemon, too, or Ziggers might get lonely!"

The kid would smile and nod at Keiko before running off, headed towards Slateport City and the Pokemon Center there. "You made that kid pretty happy, cuz." Toren complimented Keiko.

Keiko sighed, and then smiled before continuing to walk. "Though that was fun. Still, I hope the next person to challenge us is a bit more experienced. I don't think Cutie liked having to hold back like that."

Toren reassured Keiko as he continued their trek along the waterside path. This path was rather peaceful, the ocean breeze gently brushing up against them. There was plenty of tall grass to walk through but so far nothing jumped out at them. "So, anything exciting been going on at the old place?" Toren asked Keiko, implying the team's headquarters.

Eventually the pair would stumble upon a pair of Aqua grunts standing along the water side whispering to each other about something. In the water was a Sharpedo, floating their lazily as it waited for them. "Get down!" Toren whispered 'shouted' to Keiko as he pulled her down into the tall grass. "Aqua grunts. I try to avoid trouble these days." He whispered to her.

Toren whispered back. "Think we can take them, cuz?" He said with a cocky grin. "That little bug thing you have, think it can hit them with that Sweet Scent you use earlier? Might make them too mellow to see us coming in time."

Cutie buzzed happily before flying away, making sure she was upwind from the grunts before releasing the sweetest scent she could muster.

Don't worry, it won't hurt them."Cutie buzzed happily before flying away, making sure she was upwind from the grunts before releasing the sweetest scent she could muster. The pleasing scent would blow over the grunts, neither one of them noticing the Cutiefly beforehand and afterwards they were too relaxed to notice it. "Ahh...what smells so good..." One sighed. "I don't know but maaan...it's so niiice out today..." The other agreed. Even the Sharpedo was moaning in delight. That does beg one question; was Sweet Scent legal for recreational purposes? Or just medical? "Now!" Toren shouted as he jumped up and released Titan, the Empoleon. "Hit their feet with Ice Beam!" Toren commanded, the penguin lord firing off an Ice Beam at the pair of grunts, freezing their feet to the ground. "Get their Sharpedo!" He told Keiko as Empoleon handled the grunts.

Keiko immediately recalled Cutie only to let Hera out of her ball. "Arm Thrust that Sharpedo, please," Keiko asked.
Hera leapt above the Sharpedo, aiming to land on it's back. While gravity did it's thing, the female Heracross pushed her arms at the shark Pokemon repatedly, with open palms. The Fighting-type move might not disable the Sharpedo, but it would certainly do damage if it hit.

While gravity did it's thing, the female Heracross pushed her arms at the shark Pokemon repatedly, with open palms. The Fighting-type move might not disable the Sharpedo, but it would certainly do damage if it hit. The Arm Thrust hurt pretty bad, doing super effective damage. However, Hera would receive some damage as well as she came in contact with the shark's Rouge Skin, the sharp scales scrapping against her hands with each hit. "Hey! What gives!?" One grunt cried. The other just shouted something unintelligible. "Titan, take care of that shark, use Aqua Jet!" Toren commanded. Before the Sharpedo would have a chance to retaliate, Titan would come in and ram the shark with its steel body. While the Water move didn't do much damage it was just enough to knock it out, especially after Hera delivered a super effective hit, the shark now floating belly up in the water. "What was that for!? We weren't doing nothing!" The second grunt finally saying something coherent. "Likely." Toren huffed as he approached them, standing alongside Titan.

"Sorry, but, given what your group has done in the past, we had to be certain." Keiko explained.
Meanwhile, Cutie kept pouring out the Sweet Scent, waiting to be told when to stop. Since Titan finished off Hera's target, the Heracross stood beside her trainer, glaring menacingly at the Aqua grunts.
