Personality Spirited, optimistic doe who learned to stride before she learned to walk. Comes from a poor home life: dark in color and determined to fight with rather prominent horns, she is the antithesis of the doe her parents wanted. Tan refuses to let their - or anyone else's - scorn hold her back, determined to achieve greatness in her own way.

Appearance An absolute bear of a lion. Very large, with lots of fur that is more shaggy than fluffy. Mane is exceptionally tousled and curly. Claws cannot fully retract. Big, expressive brown eyes.

Personality Garrulous, jovial and loud, Sjunheal comes with a booming brogue and a force of personality to be reckoned with. It doesn't hurt that he has the size to match his manner: he's a massive bear of a lion who looks every inch the rugged, fearsome warrior. He knows it too, and since he was a cub has kept himself well-versed in myriad ways to use his appearance as a threat.

He's much more laid-back than he looks, though, and is capable of withstanding quite a bit of irritation before growing angry. About the only exception are little ones in danger. From cubs to pups to wee birds, Sjun has a towering weakness for the young and innocent. He treasures the rearing and teaching of these small charges whenever possible - and would tear a swath of blood across all Africa to rescue one from harm. The big guy's devotion would probably make him a great father, but so far he hasn't heard anyone ask, and he's in no great hurry himself.

Sjunheal was once part of a warlike pride that lived in the mountains. When that pride encountered another muscling in on their territory, the eventual conflict caused mass casualties on both sides. Sjun was one of those lions left behind, tasked with watching over those too young or infeeble to fight. He was bitter over the assignment, even more so when only one or two of his pridemates returned from battle.

He took his wards and struck out from the bloodstained mountain. Since then, several of them went their own way - or passed on, comforted by the bearlike male. Sjun roams on, still bitter about the loss of his pride and his lack of role in the fight, but enjoying the risks and rewards the roguelands have to offer.

Appearance On the smaller side, but built like a tank. Wears a number of scars with pride.

Personality This grim lioness always looks like she's scowling, and that's generally not far from the truth. Muladhara has always led something of a warlike life, surviving on gut instinct to keep her alive. She grew up fast, leaving precious little room for cubhood, playtime or tender memories. That's left plenty of time for other skills to come to the fore, though: she is a pro at manipulating and managing others and is not afraid to use any means at her disposal to do so.
