History:
Born into the pride, she was chosen as the next Queen of Vuli. She took on the job with solemn awareness of the responsibility, and found happiness with the King of the Mrao. A disastrous summer storm stole her happy future away, though. Her mate was killed, and the other two rulers went missing, assumed dead. The pride underwent a change thereafter, and a single pair of rulers were named.
Mada meanwhile chose to step down, making way for the new couple, and undertook the role of Royal Assistant. When the pride was driven from their homes, she lent Ester her support and expertise in guiding a remnant to another pride. When even that pride fell apart, a very small group migrated to a pride of healers. Unwilling to abandon Ester in her time of need, Mada and her mate willingly migrated as well.

Marcor is a quiet gentleman who lives his life in a serene manner. He had never had anything to devote himself to before, but now he has a beautiful mate, a pride, and a family. He has undying loyalty to all three aspects of his life, and spares no care for anything beyond that scope.
History:
As a roaming rogue, he had little to tie him to anything. A sorrowful experience with a group of lost chicks became the beginning of the greatest happiness of his life. A lovely lioness comforted him after the deaths of his little charges, and led him back to her home. He found it an easy place to fit into, and soon a litter of cubs added to his overflowing joy.
Since then, he, his mate, and one of their sons have left that pride to wander the rogue lands, attempting to help those in need.

Liekko will lie to you. Always. He never ever tells the truth. It seems to be a pathological drive, for he simply cannot, will not, and can't fathom telling the truth. None but he know his real name, for he invents a new one each time. He serves only himself. If he can benefit from a specific lie, you can bet he'll use it. He is an actor, a nutcse, and a jerk.
He is the twin who never tells the truth. If it sounds like the truth, you can rely on it being untruth. He lies merrily about things he knows others will never believe, but he doesn't care if they believe him or not. He is mischief and cunning and airy disregard. He follows no rules, he laughs at pain, he is both coward and fool, fearing nothing but fleeing just to do so. He walks the edge of madness, daring it to take him if it can. He isn't always obviously so mad, but it lurks there, beneath the skin, dancing in his eyes, mocking the sane and mundane world.
History:
Since he never tells anyone the truth, his past is a complete and utter mystery.
When he ended up with a pup shoved onto him, Liekko simply carried on like normal. He never named the pup, never gave the pup his real name, and otherwise simply treated her like he would anyone else. It was only because she followed him that she ever ate or had any protection. How he felt about having her around is, of course, a mystery. She eventually wandered off, and who knows what happened to her after that.

Hroarr finds himself disagreeing with accepted behaviors for reavers and captains. He tries to stay true to himself, give honor to females as equals and to be treasured, and become a leader. He feels the weight of being the a Captain very acutely, and does his best to ensure his warband stays close to his belief system in their conduct.
History:
For a time, he and his littermates were the only offspring of the mightly Warlord. Hroarr was very proud of this, but his pride was shattered by the arrival of another litter... which was not his mother's babies. Thus early in life, he became troubled by the lack of loyalty this indicated. The two litters had a certain amount of rivalry, and though he likes his half-siblings on a personal level, his devotion to his mother makes him wary and unhappy about being around them.
His internal belief system was further shaken on his first viking, where he became aware of the common practice of forcing females. He could only imagine his mother or sisters in that position, and his heart screamed that it was wrong. Ever since, he kept himself under control, but has privately vowed to not allow this when he become a Captain.
There have been several changes in Warlord, one of which resulted in him and his family being exiled. He took his warband to live in a farflung outpost until the Warlord was overthrown, and his family called out of exile.
Since that time he's worked hard, kept his head down, and has settled comfortably into his role of leadership. Only recently he has found a female that challenges him, but also makes him smile. She now fights by his side as a full member of his warband, and he is finding a serenity and contentment in life that he once never would have believed possible.

Auri does her best to portray herself as the perfect lady. She is aware of her beauty, and holds herself to high standards to conduct and thought that will match that outer appearance. She keeps herself meticulously clean, and carries herself like someone of importance. Outside of hunting or emergency, she does not run or act harried.
History:
She was raised as the apple of her father's eye, a princess in her own right within the family. She might have become too high and mighty once in a while, but her peers and most especially her mother put a stop to that. She was taught the ways of the pride faithfully, though she also learned to understand the plight of those brought to the pride against their will.
Little of note happened as she grew, but as she became an adolescent, she began to ponder who she might be given to. She tried not to fret that it would be someone ugly or lowly. She did not fear being given to someone truly cruel, but was aware her father might possibly give her to someone heavy-pawed. This didn't bother her, however, since she'd been trained well and had every confidence she could please and obey any fair-minded Pad.
She was therefore quite pleased when she learned that she had been asked for by Pad Aziz'din, son of Sultan Aali. She accepted this mildly, though she celebrated on the inside. She attempted the challenge of attempting to establish herself as Beybanu in Pad Aziz's harem, but never got the chance to truly fight for the position.
The pride erupted in chaos with an uprising, with males being sent away, with cubs being stolen... it was really all very disgraceful! Auri was not pleased when she was left on her own to deal with life as it came. So disgruntled was she, she stalked off into the roguelands alone, taking what dignity she could with her. In her travels, she met an escaped banu and a rogue male in a cave during a storm. After heated words, she chose to follow the male to his home and join him there as his mate. Who needed up-start hoydens anyway?!

Mith is a deliberate thinker. He does not let his feelings rule his reactions nor his decisions. He has a tender heart, but shields it carefully with slow, ent-ish thought. As a result, he also is a very stable, dependable fellow. Little shakes or shocks him. When someone is let into his heart, he shows a calm reassurance, an abiding love, and an undying wish to do what is best for the other person.
History:
He was the only cub of his mother, and knew right off that something was different. He became aware of the gods, and the likelihood that his father was one. He handled his visions with some trepidation at first, and with acceptance as he matured.
A pattern formed, and he realized most of his visions were of a specific gathering of creatures. He began to recognize those present for deaths, and occasionally those who had died in previous visions, or those in later ones. As an adult, he finally decided it was time. This place, this pride, drew him like a moth to a wildfire, though the dangers were uncertain along the way.
He wandered the roguelands, asking after the pride, learning as he paid more attention to his visions that they were sick, dying mostly from a specific disease. This information helped to further his attempt to find it, but the true break-through was when he met a quiet lioness with a very large snake. She offered to lead him to it, and along the way he came to find out she was the goddess of blood. He found her a fast friend, and together they entered the pride he'd sought for so long. Kitwana'antara welcomed them both, enfolding them into its ecclectic ranks.
Shortly after this acceptance, Veri, the goddess, gave birth to a litter of cubs. Mith had been unaware that she'd been pregnant, but when presented with the opportunity to take charge of some of them, he did so willingly. Veri traveled often, and needed someone to ensure her cubs were raised properly. They were mortal cubs, thank goodness, but that hardly mattered. Mith took them in, treated them as lovingly as if they were his own, and began a new life as a sudden father of cubs not his own.
Over time, a quiet, slow, tender romance formed between him and the queen, Nawiri. They kept it low key and unremarked upon. After a point, Nawiri stepped down as ruler, leaving one of her daughters to rule in her stead. She, and he, have now fallen out of the public eye, keeping their relationship the quiet thing it began as.

History:
He joined the Iknimaya after finding them. Most of his life as a rogue had been dangerous and unfulifilling. He found his place among the People, and never has strayed from the borders again. He has fallen in love with a mistreated female, though, and longed after her sweetly. In his opinion, the brother to the king does not deserve such a lovely and dedicated creature as his mate. Soon now, he will have his chance, though, and he will be able to confess his love for her. Is happily ever after waiting in his future?
