Scarlett was too busy making her deal with Cyrus to spent time an effort being annoyed at Zak for ignoring her in favor of Cyrus' mega blastoise. While she was impressed with it as well, she already had a squirtle of her own which she intended on turning into the behemoth that was behind Cyrus, only better. Once Scarlett had gotten what she wanted, she was more than ready to leave so that she could explore the Solaceon Ruins and train for her fourth badge. She made to head out, planning on calling Skye once she was well out of range, but when Zak spoke up about getting drinks and celebrating, Scarlett paused, casting a curious glance at the russian over her shoulder. He even offered to pay... Just what was he trying to accomplish? Surely nothing good, but Scarlett was tempted to tag along out of sheer curiosity. Well, that and her scottish-irish blood wouldn't let her turn down a free drink or two. "Free drink ya say? Hm~ Well alright. I guess I'll stick around a bit longer. Just what exactly are we celebrating?" She smirked, turning back towards Zak and Cyrus. Admittedly a part of her wished Cyrus wasn't tagging along too, mainly because she had a sneaking suspicion that he would probably try to swipe the artifact back from her when she wasn't looking, but also a part of her wanted Zak all to herself. Then again, Cyrus wasn't half bad looking either... She gave the golden eyed thief a quick appraising gaze, while he busied himself to deal with his blastoise, but her attention shifted rather quickly to the large draconic creature that emerged from Zak's pokeballs. Scarlett was honestly taken aback at the sheer size of the thing, a pokemon she'd never seen before. Apperently it wanted to train so Zak sent her off with a few of his other pokemon, and Scarlett gave a impressed whistle. "Damn, glad I didn't have to fight that beast when we met." She chuckled, fully realizing she wasn't out of hot water with that just yet, but unable to contain her thrilled emotions.
"Training though, is probably a good idea. Was looking to do that myself, but since I'm going to be busy getting drinks..." She took a moment, swapping some pokemon around on her team and sending a few to her PC to make room before sending out Cypher, Aero, Mako, and the shinx she had caught a while back. Cypher and Aero looked expectantly at Scarlett for orders, but Mako was wiggling around restlessly, ready to sink his teeth into anything, and the shinx shook herself off, this being the first time out of her pokeball since Scarlett had captured her. She shot Scarlett a bit of an unhappy, weary look, but otherwise made no move to attack her and run away. Scarlett crouched down and smiled at the Shinx, though in a sort of superior fashion. "Cypher, this is Nala. You're to show her the ropes and get her up to snuff for our next gym battle. Understood?" Cypher's head declined in a slow nod. "Yes, captain." Scarlett nodded shifted her attention to the Aklor. "Mako will be training as well. Let him loose somewhere less populated and I'm sure he'll keep himself busy. Just make sure he doesn't cause too much destruction to the environment." Scarlett instructed rather dismissively, turning her attention to the noibat on her shoulder. "Rave, help out if things get too heated, but otherwise you've earned your rest as far as I'm concerned." Rave chirped affirmatively and flew over to perch on Cypher's beak protrusion. "Aero." Scarlett stated the Gallade's nickname rather seriously as she eyed the Gallade. "Remember what we talked about." The gallade's eyes shifted to the side, averting Scarlett's gaze. "....Yes, Captain." He said slowly. It was a struggle, Scarlett knew, but it was best he stick to observing for now, at least until his EXP share wore off. With their orders, the rag tag group of pokemon took their leave, but Scarlett felt unsettled leaving Aero with this outlook of defeat. The least she could do was give him a glimmer of hope. Digging into her bag, her hands found the small stone she was looking for. "Hoy, Aero, catch." She tossed the Galladite to him once he'd turned around. When you can use that, then you'll be ready to start fighting your own battles. Scarlett spoke clearly in her mind so that the gallade would hear. Aero's eyes glimmered when he saw the mega stone he'd been given, but contained his excitement. He couldn't use it just yet, he wasn't strong enough, as Scarlett pointed out. However, he would hold onto it for now until the EXP share was finished helping him grow. Hopefully by then, he would be able to mega evolve. He gave Scarlett a gracious bow, and then moved to catch up with the others. With that settled, Scarlett turned back to Zak and clasped her hands together, grinning with anticipation. "Now, where's that bar eh?"

Zak didn't bother trying to keep the grin from curling the corners of his mouth as both agreed to the offer. "Good business, of course," Zak replied, tilting his head to the side with a cocky grin. It was true, it probably seemed like he was smoothly lying through his teeth with some ulterior motive, but surprisingly, he actually wasn't. Not... really. Well sort of. He didn't have any plans here, he didn't have any goals. But it didn't seem like a bad idea to test the waters a bit here, and there were a few ways this could prove fruitful. His smirk only grew more satisfied at Scarlett's response to Daeva, too, his eyelids lowering a bit in amusement. "You have no idea. Overkill es practically a signature uv hers," he replied. He appreciated the comment, though. He appreciated the simple observation, actually. He sort of felt like kicking Cyrus for being too passive to offer the same, but the man seemed to be struggling enough with his own pokemon.
Zak glanced over, frowning in disapproval as he watched Cy and his Blastoise. ".... Durak..." he muttered, sneering a bit. If he didn't think Cyrus properly deserved that blastoise before, he sure as hell did now. He would have to have a word with him about that, after, but for now he rolled his shoulders back, stretched his head to the side, and tried to shake it off, shifting his attention instead back to Scarlett. He turned slightly, but continued watching her and her pokemon from the corner of his vision, observing each of the pokemon she released. His eyes stuck on the wriggling little... shark thing, though. "... Vhat es zat," he muttered, staring down at it. He was familiar enough with the other ones. He'd never seen something like that, though. There was a clear frown on his face, though it was hard to tell whether it was in disgust at the creature, or simply disapproval that he didn't know what it was.
He shook his head a bit to clear off the thought, instead raising his gaze to look around. There had to be something; a bar, a restaurant, something. "Now vhen did I say zere vould be a bar...?" he remarked, arching an eyebrow as he glanced back over at Scarlett with a smirk. He nodded his head for them to follow, and lead the way. "Eef ve're lucky, zere vill be a bar... here ve go," He came to a stop, looking the bar tucked in between two other buildings over, then sweeping forward. He pushed the door in, but held it open, flashing a smirk. "Vhy don't you two decide vhere to sit?" he offered, a bit of a mischievous, self-mocking quirk to his lips at the sarcastic generosity.

Meanwhile, Daeva was stalking off to the nearest tall grass she could find. There didn't seem to be many trainers around, but that was fine; she didn't really want to hear Meebus' yammering to them anyway. She didn't want to deal with their complaining when she destroyed their little companions. She didn't want to have to compete with that annoying totodile for 'who would go first', either. He was already running off to find his own wild pokemon-- she would find hers. Sotnik was hanging back slightly, watching the two darkly colored pokemon, with Meebus floating nearby, the translator still statically clinging to his little electric form.
Daeva snapped her head up when she heard a gleeful cry from Totodile, growling lowly as she saw him chase after a wild pokemon. Some... weird looking thing, which he promptly knocked out with a Dynamic Punch. She turned away, sniffing, creeping low to find her own prey.

Cyrus was rather disinterested as the woman let out her pokemon, apparently to go battle. He did wonder for a moment about the odd monstrous pokemon that Zak had had with him, though he felt no need to comment. In fact, he didn't really have any comments at all for the most part. Mostly thanks to Perse chiding him in his thoughts. "I know you generally don't give a s**t, but you really should treat Rita with the respect she deserves... Also, you probably shouldn't go dri-" she told him, then Cy started to block her out a bit, rolling his eyes.
He then snapped back to the two people he was with as Zak led the way to a bar. "The best seats are the ones closest to the liquor." Cyrus stated when they finally entered, Zak asking them to pick the seats. Of course, it was more the fact that in his experience, the drunkest people normally sat at the bar near the tender, which made easy pickings for stealing. Heck, maybe he could make a few bucks while Zak paid for their drinks. Nothing could possibly go wrong with that. "Or we could be boring and get a booth." he added with a shrug. Scarlett smirked when Zak suggested that he was celebrating good business. "Heh, if you're willing to celebrate something as mundane as that, then I'd love to see how you celebrate something actually worth celebrating. Remind me to take you to a marti gras party sometime~" She commented wryly. She was still rather suspicious about his motives for all of this, but curious all the same and therefore willing to go along with it. After all, who was she to turn down a drink from a handsome man? Before they could get going though, it seemed a pokemon of Zak's wanted to train, and a mighty impressive one at that. She couldn't help but comment, rather impressed by the beast, and smirking as Zak replied, mentioning that overkill was a signature of hers. "Hm~ Interesting. Well, I certainly know how that goes." She mused, thinking back to how Koga had pretty much obliterated that poor hiker's team not too long ago. She figured though, since she was going to get a drink instead of training her pokemon, she may as well have her pokemon train themselves. After getting her team situated, she let them go, though she couldn't help but notice Zak's comment on Mako, as well as that amusing expression on his face. "That, would be my aklor, Mako. At first I only caught him because he ate all of my big mushrooms," She gestured to the bite sized hole in one of the pockets of her satchel. "However, as it turns out, he's been rather useful in battle." She commented thoughtfully.
Scarlett was eager to get to the bar however, asking where it might be, however Zak seamed to taunt her with the fact that he never explicitly stated that they were going to a bar. Scarlett rolled her eyes a bit with a smirk at that. "Bar, pub, liquor store, insert your fancied building preference here." Scarlett waved dismissively. Like it really mattered, he was just being a smart a** and he knew it. Nevertheless, it was a bar they ended up finding, and Scarlett followed Cyrus in through the door as Zak held it open for them, offering that they pick the seats. Normally the gesture would have been rather gentlemanly, but considering it was Zak and how sarcastically he presented it with that smirk on his face, somehow it felt like there was a different intent behind the gesture. Perhaps Scarlett was reading too much into it, but it felt like every move he made was devious.... Whether that was good or bad, Scarlett had yet to determine herself, but that didn't stop her from flashing the russian a sneering smile as she passed. Cyrus suggested that the best seats were the ones right up by the bar, which Scarlett agreed with, though unknowingly for different reasons than the thief. She was about to voice said agreement though when Cyrus also pointed out that they could get a booth. "I don't think boring is quite the right descriptor there hun." Scarlett commented. "If you kiddies want to sit in a booth like a couple of middle schoolers then be my guest, I'll be at the bar thank you very much." Scarlett sneered. Not that she expected them to take the booth since Cyrus had already expressed his disapproval at the idea and Zak likely wouldn't be looking to alienate himself from the two of them. Still, she made her way over to three empty barstools and took a seat. It didn't take long before the bartender noticed Scarlett's presence and made his way over. "You're a pretty new face around here... What'll it be miss?" Scarlett smiled in an almost patronizing manner as she looked him over. "Get me a shot of good ol' Johnnie Walker on the rocks, courtesy of that gentleman over there~" She indicated Zak with a grin. "Scotch drinker eh? Never would have pegged you for it." Nevertheless he put down the shot glass, already filled with a bit of ice before filling it to the top with an amber colored liquid. Scarlett nodded in thanks and picked up her chosen poison, swirling it around in her glass for a moment so that she could pick up the faint, familiar aroma before tossing it back. She put the empty ice filled glass back on the table and sighed contently. "Ah, neu that's tha stuff." She murmured, accent slipping back into her words as she grinned, looking like she'd just reunited with a long lost friend. It'd been a while since she'd treated herself to that particular brand of scotch.
Meanwhile, Scarlett's pokemon encountered an unfortunate trainer who'd challenged them to a battle once Cypher explained that they weren't wild pokemon to be caught, but rather under the ownership of a trainer who had instructed them to train on their own. At first, as Scarlett had asked, Nala was sent in to take out the first few pokemon, but soon Mako took her place to finish the rest off once she was too hurt to continue battling. The little shark fought viscously, but there was a reason for his bloodlust this particular night. He could feel that he was near evolution, and sure enough, once their opponent's last pokemon went down, the aklor began to glow a brilliant white, growing much larger and more formidable than before. The larger shark gave an intimidating growl, sending the trainer running while the group made their way back to the pokemon center to get Mako and Nala healed up.

Zak gave a grin at Scarlett's teasing comment. "Zvuchit neploho. I can only imagine vat partying vis you vould be like, Mishka," he replied, tilting his head, white teeth flashing in a grin. He shifted his attention back down as she explained about her pokemon, dark eyes glinting with interest, though he muted his expression. "Hm. Eenteresting..." was his simple reply. He would try and remember to look into that pokemon later. For now, the focus was alcohol, and once he found a place, through the fun bantering with Scarlett, he couldn't help but briefly redirect his attention to Cyrus when he spoke up on his preference of where to sit. Initially, he smirked when Cyrus mentioned sitting at the bar, but gave him a sincere 'What the "Zamohlche, Zaichik. Don't suggest somesing eef you don't vant to do et," he sneered, passing Cyrus to follow Scarlett towards the bar. Sour puss. He hated that attitude. Cy could be fun sometimes, but being so dismissive and insulting over everything sure could make it more tempting to knock his head into the corner of the bar, then try and play any games with him.
Sliding onto one of the bar stools, he leaned against the bar, propping one arm on the counter and raising an eyebrow at Scarlett and the bartender. "Ze voman es dressed like a pirate... vat deed you expect she vould be drinking?" he muttered, though it was too low for the bartender to really hear. The unimpressed expression on his face conveyed it all the same anyway. It was odd, but he was acting almost like he was in a bad mood-- but he wasn't. In fact, he was actually enjoying Scarlett's company. Cyrus... not as much, but hopefully some alcohol would change that. It always took some adjusting to get used to the man's personality, anyway.
Straightening up, he ordered himself his own shot of whisky, placing his arms on the bar, but keeping his head turned towards Scarlett. "Why do I have the impression you're a frequent drinker, Mishka?" he remarked with amusement, his Russian accent very abruptly gone. There was the slightest trace of something in his voice, almost French but it might have been the remainder of his usual accent, but it certainly wasn't as noticeable as when he usually spoke. His gaze slid back over to Cyrus, and his expression sobered. "Don't even think about trying anything, Cy," he added, in a very 'by the way' fashion. He knew places like this were a pick pockets dream-- and so long as he didn't try anything on Zak, or even Scarlett, he didn't really care. But he'd have no problem smashing the guy with a chair if he tried anything on them.

While their trainer was busy 'celebrating', Totodile was running around, maniacally having the time of his life. Daeva was clearly less enthused, now that she was occasionally twitching from the poison running through her body. She stayed low as she skulked around, grimacing as she heard Totodile cackle in glee as he found another opponent. Outside of the grass, Sotnik was warily watching the two, with Meebus hovering nearby. "... Think it'll ever slow done?" Sotnik asked, watching Totodile as the gator tried to smack his opponent on the head, only for it to do very little damage. Meebus turned slightly, glancing through his glasses in a side glance to the wary looking serperior. "... Almost certainly not," he replied after a moment, still using the translator he had stuck to him, turning back to watch as Totodile's opponent hurt itself in its confusion, sending the gator into a laughing fit. "He seems to enjoy it too much..."
Sotnik sighed. Meebus looked at him a moment. "... You seem to have adjusted well, given Zakhav's... unmerciful style. Not all pokemon could handle it," he commented. Sotnik lifted his head, his eyes hardly open, but just enough to show ruby red irises looking back at Meebus from the corner of his eye.

"... I owe him for taking me," he replied in a low voice, looking back to the grass. "Someone would have chosen you eventually," Meebus replied, "You were not stuck to remain with Zakhav." Sotnik's brow furrowed and he bowed his head a little. Clearly, that bothered him, but... not even he really knew why. In fact, he wasn't entirely certain of his place here. He was Zak's starter pokemon, he was supposed to be the leader. He had an intended role and he intended to fulfill it... But Meebus wasn't wrong in questioning him about his loyalty. He wasn't like Totodile, or Daeva; he didn't enjoy the defeat of others. He wasn't like Deys, utterly obedient, almost untouchable on an emotional scale. He... He just did as he was told. He didn't feel much about it. He didn't like the over kill, he avoided the unnecessary mass destruction, but he didn't hesitate or waver in doing what Zak told him to. He also hadn't been told to do much in the way of damage, either, though...
"... What about you? You obeyed... Back at the gym," 'Nik referenced, nodding his head in the general direction, "You could have defeated that pokemon with less... But you did the attack Zak told you to."

Meebus continued to stare at Sotnik from the corner of his gaze. There was no expression to his face, no indication of reaction, or what he was thinking. Sotnik frowned, bowing his head slightly. After a moment, Meebus simply turned to look straight ahead, maintaining his silence. The serperior shifted his tail against the ground, still looking at the rotom. Such a strange pokemon... He could see why Zak didn't fully trust him. There was something odd about him. It wasn't hard to pick up on, anyone would probably notice it, but it seemed like the more you got to know him, the more there was to figure out. The more there was beneath the 'strange'. And Sotnik couldn't figure out whether it was good or bad.
Finally, 'Nik shifted his gaze away, still looking bothered as he gazed back towards the grass. It seemed his teammates were still doing their best to dig up opponents, which was... good. He was admittedly slacking off himself, but he was 100% he was still the strongest on the team, and he preferred to battle with Zak present, then by himself. Not that he wasn't motivated, he just....

Cyrus rolled his eyes. As if he actually wanted to sit at a booth. Perhaps he didn't inject enough sarcasm for them. Whatever. It wasn't his job to be 'happy' and 'friendly' anyways. He took a stool next to Zak- no way would he willingly just sit next to this strange woman. Despite having made a decent deal with her, he still quite disliked her. Her chest aside, it was those clothes. Who the heck even dressed so much like a stereotypical pirate, anyways? The only ones he could really think of was his stupid sister and team Aqua. He sneered a bit at the thought, then looked to the bartender. "I'll have a Long Island Iced Tea." Cyrus told the bartender in a rather amiable manner. The dark skinned male knew not to be rude to any bartenders or food servers, even if he generally wasn't a friendly person.
After getting his tea, he drank deeply from the tall glass, looking at Zak from the corner of his eye as the male told him not to think of trying anything. After swallowing down nearly a quarter of his drink, he set the glass down. "Ah, I'm so insulted that you'd think I'd do something like that, heh." he commented with a smirk. Well, of course... He knew better than to try and steal from Zak, and he already knew not to mess around with Tits since she had pistols. Besides, there was plenty of other people in the vicinity that would make perfect candidates for 'shopping'.

Scarlett was a little more excited than she would have liked to admit at the prospect of actually partying with Zak someplace fun, especially since he seemed to like the idea as much as she did. Though, her lips turned up into a wry smile. "Don't let your imagination run too wild a stór, because then you won't be prepared for the real thing~" She suggested, and though Zak's initial interest in her aklor had seemed more out of disgust than general interest, when she had explained a bit more, Scarlett thought she had caught a glimpse of genuine interest in his thoughtful expression. Whether it was real or not, it was gone in the blink of an eye and they were soon making their way towards the bar. At which, Zak seemed to side with Scarlett on the idea that they shouldn't sit at a booth, though he seemed more annoyed that Cyrus had suggested it even though he clearly didn't want to sit there. They sat down all in a row, Scarlett, then Zak, then Cyrus. Frankly Scarlett was glad Cyrus hadn't sat next to her, the idea that he might try to snitch her artifact back would have put her on edge and hindered her ability to enjoy her free drinks. Now that he was a safer distance away though...
Scarlett ordered her drink and bit her lip to suppress a snorting giggle at Zak's comment on the bartender's ability, or lack thereof, to guess what Scarlett would be drinking. "Heh, well to tell ya tha truth, I could really go far a white russian right neu....." She mused, accent in full force now that she'd had her shot of scotch. She held no reservations in looking over Zak as she spoke with a rather tantalizing glance but then turned her attention to the bartender expectantly for her drink. Though, she did smirk a bit when Zak commented that he got the impression she was a frequent drinker. "Frequent? Heh, no. As much as I love an' appreciate a drink from a handsome man, I know betta than t' do it frequently." She suggested with a surprisingly serious tone, eying her empty scotch glass and turning it over. She'd noticed the abrupt accent drop from Zak, detecting the slight traces of something else, though whether it was french or a tiny remainder of russian, she couldn't tell. As curious as she was, she decided against asking for now since she got her drink after the bartender had finished serving Cyrus his Long Island Tea. Not to mention she was amused when Zak instructed Cyrus not to try anything, and the thief feigned offense.
"It's a bit interestin'," Scarlett commented to Zak. "I've had these befare, but I daen't know tha right proper way ta drink it." She held it up to examine it for a moment. "Ya see, it be in a shotglass, which gives tha impression it oughta be tossed back like any other shot, but it's actually a cocktail, which are usually made ta be sipped over time so you can enjoy tha drink while it lasts...." She commented thoughtfully. "I can't seem t' decide how ta drink it.... Any suggestions?" Scarlett asked curiously, dipping her finger lightly into the top of the drink to scoop up a bit of the cream. "I suppose in tha end it doesn't matter much hm?~ Tha drink will go down the same either way; spicy and hard with a smooth creamy finish." Scarlett smirked, giving her finger a quick taste.

A stor... There was that nickname again. He really needed to look it up. In the meantime, he was very tempted to make a tease about getting his expectations too high and setting himself up for disappointment, but instead he played back with a simple, ambiguous, but cocky smirk. The sort that hinted at something but withheld from completely giving it away. And before he could do anything to give it away, or end up saying anything, they were already inside, on their way to the bar, and ordering drinks. And everything leading up to that alone was enough to make Zak feel more than confident in never regretting making the suggestion. So long as neither went too heavy on the drinks, this would probably be worth every penny...
Reaching for his drink, Zak gave a strained sort of smirk at Scarlett's 'drink' remark. He watched the bartender move to fetch it out of the corner of his eye, lifting his own drink up. "Dark Russians are better..." he replied in a low voice, his smirk growing a bit. He took his shot, setting it down and giving a gesture to order another, glancing briefly at Cyrus. "Funny, your 'insulted' expression looks strangely amused..." he remarked back, a smirk of his own crossing his face. His attention shifted back to Scarlett as she responded to his observation, or comment rather, and he quirked an eyebrow, tilting his head and giving a slight gesture off to the side. "Then 'experienced'. You don't seem afraid to hit the hard stuff..." he corrected.
He eyed the drink as her order arrived, grabbing his own shot and pulling it over, though he didn't raise it to drink yet. No, he was watching her, listening, frowning at first, then smirking a bit as she asked his advice on how to drink it. And for a very, very short moment, he went straight to the answer-- and then the cues she'd been dropping through her innuendo clicked, and as she finished, the real meaning started to soak in. He lifted his drink, not yet tossing it back but using the glass to obscure the grinning smirk that started to cover his face at the realization. Clever... clever girl... He had to bite back from rolling his shoulders back or showing too much of any other reaction. Once he was able to tone the grin down to a bold smirk, though, he lowered his glass a bit, shifting his gaze away from her.
"Personally, I do everything fast and hard," he replied back, his lips curling, before, as if to prove his point, he tossed his drink back, setting the glass down hard onto the counter and pushing it forward, gesturing for another. He flashed a knowing glance at Scarlett, smirk still present, then straightened up, shifting his focus to Cyrus. If only to... distract himself a bit. That little metaphor had gotten a little more under his skin than he'd like to admit. "What about, Cyrus? How do you prefer your drinks?" he asked, trying not to smirk too much. He couldn't tell if the other even got the insinuation or not, but... it was the best related distraction he could go for. And he was amused to hear Cyrus' possible response either way.

If rolling eyes loudly was a possible thing, Cyrus would have accomplished it at the next drink that Tits ordered. And of course, Zak made a reply he was expecting - one about dark russians - and Cy took a deep sip of his tea. As he set the glass down, Zak made a comment on his expression from his feigned insulted act. The dark skinned male merely smirked, going back to his drink.
Tits happened to comment on her fresh drink in a somewhat provocative manner to Zak just as Cyrus was finishing his tea. He snorted into the ice filled glass before setting it down. Seemed like Tits here was just another plaything for Zak. She was certainly playing back. The golden eyed male wasn't sure whether he was amused or annoyed. "If you can't decide how to go about drinking it, then perhaps you just can't handle it." Cyrus commented, though oddly enough, he definitely was implying something not about the drink. He narrowed his eyes on Zak as he was brought into the conversation, being asked how he liked his drinks. Seriously? He didn't really give a ******** about this talk... What does he even gain by answering? Whatever. He'd humor Zak with a response. "While I like to enjoy my drinks, hard and fast is certainly the way to go." Cy replied. "Especially if you're getting paid for it..." he added in thought, then rather kindly asked the bartender for a Zombie as his empty tea was taken away. Scarlett smiled wryly as she noticed Zak's reaction to her next drink, commenting that dark russians were better. "Hm~ I'd agree, but my preference depends on my mood." She mused, smirking a bit when he commented that Cyrus' insulted expression looked more amused. It would have been funnier if the subject at hand wasn't the idea that Cyrus wasn't allowed to steal from them. She did have to explain however that she wasn't a frequent drinker, though when Zak amended his statement to experienced in the place of frequent, Scarlett couldn't deny anything. "Experienced drinker.... Yeah, ya've got me there." She grinned, though there was something off about her smile. Whether it was a touch of melancholy, pain, or just facetiousness, it was hard to tell, for it only lasted a moment as she turned her attention to the drink she'd ordered.
She carefully constructed her comments, and for a moment, when Zak raised his own drink, Scarlett wondered if he hadn't realized... Until he commented back. Scarlett couldn't resist a wide grin of her own, keeping her gaze down at her own drink as Zak tossed back his. He smile disappeared into an annoyed frown however when Cyrus suggested that if she couldn't decide how to drink it, that she couldn't handle it. "Hmph. Debatin' how ta drink somethin' and not bein' able to handle it are two completely separate things hun. I can hold my liquor just fine." She sneered. Zak turned the question on Cyrus, asking how he liked his drinks. There was an obvious annoyance on Cyrus' face, but he surprisingly humored Zak's question, agreeing that hard and fact was the way to go. Scarlett snorted at that. "Says the man who's ordered nothin' but fruity sippin' drinks." Scarlett sneered, eying the zombie Cyrus was served. "But I s'pose I can't argue with tha logic. Hard and fast it is." She tossed her white russian back, setting the empty glass down and licking the leftover cream off her upper lip with satisfaction.
Koga, though nearly unnoticed at this point, remained near the bar, watching as Scarlett treated herself to drinks on Zak's tab. She could have her fun sure, but one of them had to stay at least somewhat responsible. After all, he had no intention of trusting Zak or Cyrus anytime soon. If he had the ability, he would advise Scarlett to take things slow, but he was almost certain she would just tell him off anyways, either because she "could handle a few drinks" or because she "knew better than to get drunk around those two". In the end it would probably be up to him to get her out of there if anything turned sour. The scizor closed his eyes and gave a quiet sigh, wondering how the other group was doing.
