Sighing as the trio came upon another Wobbuffet Simon took notice that this one appeared to be wearing lipstick. According to the Pokedex this was how you determined what gender it was. Apparently all of this time they had come across male versions of the annoying Pokemon. Getting Houndour ready to switch out Simon wondered if this would be any different.

Houndour growled at the blue Pokemon however Simon told him he was too low of a level to fight the Pokemon around here. Noibat spoke to him, however Simon couldn't understand. "Noibat, bat No no no. Noi noi bat Noibat." (Just watch me and gain experience, you'll soon be strong enough to take them all down.) Houndour barked a few times in agreement and let Noibat take charge.

Following Noibat Houndour watched carefully how his new friend battled. A normal sight in these parts attacked next and Houndour looked a little worried which made sense, the rock Pokemon was super effective against fire and fire types. However once again Houndour backed up letting Noibat take over.

With how strong Noibat was getting Simon was thinking it might be time to move on soon. They would take on two more Pokemon, unless it was a Wobbuffet, they would leave on that note because they were really starting to hate those stubborn Pokemong. Stepping over a branch there was a crack as something flicked out of the log, the purple Gligar. Getting ready Noibat launched into attack.

Lashing out against the Gligar it was a close battle as Noibat managed to fire a final dragon pulse. Once the Pokemon fainted Simon healed Noibat up, thanking her.

All three were left blinking as Simon wordlessly healed Noibat up. It was so weird that the Geodude were basically suicidal enough to just blow up every time they fought one. Sighing deeply he returned both of them before heading back to the Pokecenter to heal the team up.

Sending out both Noibat and Dusknoir they returned to Unova, stopping in a town just after Mistralton City at Lacunosa Town. Since it was just after the town he wanted to challenge the gym at he figured the Pokemon around here would be good to train against.

Arriving at this smaller city Simon asked Noivern to fly them around a little before going to the Pokecenter. Keeping an aerial view of the city Simon could see the damage done like in the other cities but only the remains as the crew of officers or workers had cleared away the meteors. However bits of debris could be seen, Simon guessed they hadn't gotten to clearing that bit out yet. Finally landing at the Pokecenter Simon returned Noivern and continued the search on foot.

Then it clicked, this was the town that he had come to train Houndour and to catch a Gligar. Looking around he could remember training against Geodude and Graveler around here and many of them just blowing up on him. There was a Pokemon he was looking for, Teddiursa, but they hadn't come across any during their trainings sessions. This didn't stop Simon but if he found the shard first he was going to head out in case the clean up crews picked up all the shards before he could gather them.

Moving towards the more mountainous area where the shards might be hidden away in the boulders Simon started his search. The Pokemon in the area were ok for Pignite but he lost the type advantage so Simon might switch him up with someone else to complete a battle. Good decision as a wild Graveler appeared and attacked.
