Terrence thought this egg was going to be impossible to find. After all it seemed like they had been looking for it for a long time. He pursed his lips, if he were an egg where would he be? He searched around for a bit longer, hoping and praying that he'd find something soon. However, it was then that he noticed something amiss in the area a little bit further a head. He moved forwards and was surprised to see some kids staring at something. Curious, he took a closer look. To his shock it was the egg! He looked over at the children, noticing that their parents dragging them away. Terrence took this chance to get the egg, and sighed in relief. Onto the next town!

There was something off about Laverre City to Noel. At first, he thought maybe it was just the swampy landscape that made him feel weird to be there. Once they’d landed though, it was clear that there was more a mystical ambition to the place than he’d seen from the sky. There was a whimsical feel in the air, as though he’d stepped out of reality and into a town trapped in a sort of fairy tale philosophy. It was… strange and a bit unnerving but peaceful as well. Sherlock and Algernon seemed just as in trance, though Quixote didn’t seem phased.

No, he seemed more concerned about something else. While his trainer and co. focused on the strange ambience of the town he wandered off once more to explore their surroundings. It seemed like the kind of place that one could get lost in if they really tried and that was apparently something he intended to do. Without hesitation, Quixote wandered off into the tall grass to explore, stumbling upon a small nest in the process.

The nest was empty and curious as to what it might’ve held, Quixote waddled over and climbed in to have a look. It was a big nest and a bit slimy with strange goop at the bottom. He made a face as he tried to swipe the slime off his paws and then on the sides of the nest, to no avail. Whatever had occupied this thing certainly needed a lesson or two on personal hygiene. With a sigh, Quixote took to just wiping his hands on his stomach and continuing to sniff around.

There really wasn’t much to this nest other than that it was a mess. Soon Quixote was climbing out and moving along to search the other nearby surroundings where he found another nest. It was like the first with slime at the bottom and nothing but emptiness and so the Axew continued. There was, after all, no point in exploring something that he’d already seen previously. There were a couple of nests around in similar states of array until he finally stumbled upon one that was slightly different. This one had an occupant; a brightly painted egg that resembled the first couple he’d discovered. His trainer was looking for these things, right? Right!

Without hesitation, Quixote took the egg from the nest, not even bothering to try and remove the bit of slime that was dripping from the bottom of it. Whoever had thought to hide it directly in the nest hadn’t been thinking but Quixote didn’t care. With excited cheers, he rushed back to where he’d left his trainer and co., the trio haven’t gone far since noticing the Axew had disappeared. Noel gave a cry of relief as his pokemon reappeared with an egg in hand, scooping both up though giving the Axew a hugging and a scolding not to run off again. Noel also made a face, pulling his hand away with the slime on it. Gross. He waved it off and sent the egg out quickly, climbing back on the Pidgeot with his pokemon, keeping a tight grip on Quixote. He’d probably have to swap him out soon if he was going to keep wandering off on his own.

Flying past a few cities below, and onto a lush area of Kalos, Laverre soon came into view. Avikna motioned downward, having Arietty land at the Pokemon center. Not far off in the distance, a large house stood. On a sign outside rested the emblem for the Gym league, which called to Avikna's own urges. A Gym battle would be great right about now. Looking across to Mave, and Tay. "I'd like to challenge the gym while we're here. Tay, if you'd like to join you can. But you could also look for the egg while we're here." Tay rushed up to Avikna, clasping her hands together. "I wanna see you fight!" She cooed. Avikna gave a soft smile and nodded. "Alright, then we'll make it quick. Hopefully." From there the group headed towards the gym, Avikna during the transition changed up her team so that Mave, Zelda and Ule'tra were sitting at the front-lines. Zelda had advantage with being part Poison, so she expected to see a lot of Zelda during the fighting. As for her other choices... Well it was tough choosing. Arietty would of been a good choice, but she felt the fire-lizard was strong as is, and didn't really need to battle such a low level gym, though her over Ule'tra might of been a better idea, Ule'tra needed training though, and with Iron head he could still deal some damage.

Entering the gym, Avikna and Tay made their way through the themed rooms until they finally managed to reach the top floor, a large room to which a woman stood at it's back. She turned with arms held up, the sleeves of her kimono seemed to extend like butterfly wings, giving the doe-eyed woman the look of a butterfly herself, rather, of a Pokemon. An oddity if Avikna had ever saw one, but regardless, it was obvious this woman was the gym leader. "I'm here to challenge you." Avikna voiced. The woman grinned softly, nodding her head gently. "Of course. Be prepared to see the beauty of my Fairies." the woman replied. "But first Challenger, please do tell me your name." Avikna had motioned Mave forward already to take the lead when the woman asked her question. "Avikna." She replied. "And this is Tay." She added, just encase that inquiry was next. "Ah. Thank you for indulging my knowledge. I am Valerie, the leader of the gym." She chuckled softly. "Of course you already know that, as I've already accepted your challenge. Very well, enough with small talk. Let us begin." With that, a hand emerged from one of her sleeves as she lowered them, in it a Pokeball. Tossing it forward, the battle began upon it's full release.

The battle was Avikna's in the end. Zelda's type advantage in the end was just what this battle needed. Accepting her the offerings from the woman, Avikna gave a nod as she and Tay made their way out of the oddly set up gym. The whole time Tay was going over the battle as if she was telling a story. Avikna couldn't help but grin at the girl's enthusiasm. "It was a tough battle, don't forget how well my opponent fought." Avikna mentioned as they left the gym. Tay nodded, smile wide. Though Avikna was mildly disappointed to find out that the Tm she'd received couldn't be used on any of her part-fairy-type Pokemon, nor on Tay's own Fairy-type. Stuffing the TM in her bag for the time being, she decided that it may one day come to use. For now, their search was back on egg duty. Tay was still going on about training, and what she hoped her first battle with a Gym leader was going to be like. Avikna in the meantime did a bit of research. Apparently the next gym was the next location of their next egg. Only two more cities were left when it came to Kalos. Soon enough they'd be making their way across the ocean once more until reaching Unova. The thought of the gym she had to face there weighed upon her. Zelda's poison-type wouldn't be useful there, but nepherit and Isisra's would be, if only she started to train them again. The only thing about doing so was the strength of Pokemon they would have to face far outweighed their own. Perhaps it would be better to set them with a member of the team that could fight in their stead? Ray... She had yet to release the dragon from it's ball since leaving Fushia. Fear? Perhaps. To think she was afraid of something other than her father...

Avikna had been so lost in thought, it took Tay at least three firm tugs at her arm to get the red-head to finally come back to the real world. Looking down she noticed an egg being held up for her to see. "Oh." Avikna uttered, coming to a stop. Tay did the same, her expression one of confusion. "It's nothing, Just day dreaming." Avikna assured her. "Congratulations on finding another egg." Tay's smile quickly returned as she nodded. "Now we can go to the next location right?" Avikna nodded. "First let's get everyone who fought healed up." From there Avikna lead them to the Pokemon center where she got Mave, Zelda and Ule'tra fully healed. Swapping around her team she made the dission to place Ray on her main team, but she still wasn't sure about releasing her quiet yet. Isisra and Nepherit returned to their places as well. Perhaps in Anistar she could do a bit of switch training? Isisra could likely hold her own fairly well, but Nepherit still needed work. Leaving the Pokemon Center, Avikna released both Arietty and Mave. Tay took to Mave's back, while Avikna took to Arietty's. The group then took to the air, sailing along to the next location.

Adder went up towards the Pokeball Factory first, namely to see if he could get any free samples or something. When that didn’t pan out, and a search by him and…. Pretty much all his pokemon, didn’t produce anything, he recalled them and headed back into the city. He was getting kind of frustrated. He’d hoped this one would be easier than the others. It was by a pretty strong gym, the pokemon around were decently strong…. So why were so many people here!? Maybe they had a similar thought as him… get here early, to get the eggs before all that were left were…. Well, whatever. He’d keep looking. And if he had to, he’d go there.

Route 15 didn’t offer much either, though it was certainly more pleasant than his alternative option. He decided to take some time exploring it, checking by the river, in the trees…. The absurd amount of leaves in the area made him hopeful that something might have been missed, that there might be eggs hiding underneath, but even with his pokemon sniffing around and burrowing through, nothing could be found. Maybe he ought to get a pokemon with a better sense of smell and see if they could actually track the eggs….
