Taking a break from battling Simon sent out his three trainiees and looked through his pack. For Aron he produced an Eviolite letting the steel Pokemon hold it. Since it took awhile for Aron to fully evolve into his final stage this item would help strengthen his defense and special defense. Next for Kirlia Simon removed one of the TMs he had gathered in his travels, TM #29 Psychic. Putting the disc inside of his Pokenav and held it out to her so that she could learn the strong move. Forgetting teleport Kirlia learned the powerful psychic move. For now he returned Kirlia because he was going to look into taking care of some moves for Aron and Shroomish. One move he wanted Aron to learn was Superpower, a strong egg move, that Aron could learn so Simon removed a Big Mushroom and fed it to him so he could learn the move. That was the only move Aron could learn right now so he returned Aron for now. Smiling at Shroomish Simon held out two Big Mushrooms for her to eat so she could learn Drain Punch and Bullet Seed.

So that was another item that he needed to look for in his travels. Pushing himself up Simon started towards the exit of the village but ran into a teenage girl on her way in. "Oh I'm sorry,"she said but Simon told her it was okay. Brushing himself off he excused himself but she called out. "Sorry, I'm actually here to train and visit the Pokemon. Could you spare time for a battle?""Sure." Simon said as they got to separate ends of the area to battle. "Oh your Shroomish is so cute," she, Lucy, said. Simon smiled and Shroomish looked shy.

"Aw darn," Lucy said returning her knocked out water Pokemon. The next Pokemon out was a Lickitung. Bouncing on his heels Lickitung's tongue came out as he was ready to go and battle. Flapping his wings Noivern started off the battle with a smash of Boomburst knocking the normal Pokemon back however his tongue lashed out holding onto the ground. Returning to his feet he flung himself forward to knock at him with chip off. Another Boomburst sent Lickitung high into the air but once again the tongue whipped out and helped throw him down and stomp on Noivern. A final Boomburst though took it out.

Umbreon gave Noivern a sharp look, no escape now but Noivern was more ready then ever. His Boombursts were thwarted by Umbreon using Moonlight to heal itself from the attacks. Then it took a hit which just charged up the next attack, assurance. In the end, Noivern's attacks were just too strong.

While Lucy returned her fainted Umbreon Simon sent a message to Nita just saying, '911 vill' and he hoped she got what he was asking for. Her last Pokemon was "Jumpluff the cottonweed Pokemon. Blown by seasonal winds, it circles the globe, scattering cotton spores as it goes. It can control its fluff to make its way to any place in the world it wants." Switching up tactics from Boomburst to Hurricane since flying moves were super effective against the grass one. Jumpluff took aim and fired several bullet seeds at him, luckily grass was super ineffective against Noivern. Another blast and Jumpluff went down. Frowning Lucy returned Jumpluff and snapped her fingers. Out of the trees came the three thugs he fought before and two bosses which were probably second in command. "You might have beat me in a Pokemon battle but you cant take us all on. Noivern hovered their protectively as Greninja and Dusknoir both came out as well to protect their friend. Before anyone could move there was a bark as several Growlithe ran in followed by a large Arcanine. They went right up to each of the gang members, growling at them. Then their owners came in as well, officer Jenny along with other male police officers and Nita. The last ran to Simon and gave him a hug as he returned his Pokemon. "You understood the message," Simon said and Nita nodded, "I knew you were here and 911 must meant you were in trouble." They watched as the police officers arrested, handcuffed and led the entire gang away.

Simon looked at Nita then nodded, "That would be me," he said and accepted the egg. "What Pokemon is it?" Nita asked. "I don't know," Officer Jenny said, "It was abandoned." Tucking the Egg safely in his pack Simon thanked Officer Jenny. "Still training?" Nita asked and Simon nodded so she gave him another hug before heading home.

Before continuing to train Simon removed the last item he got from a previous event. Like the Vs Seeker and the incense before that he held a device in his hands. Turning it over and over he tried to figure out what it was, according to the Pokenav it was a Dowsing Machine which would help him find items faster. Tucking it away for now he wondered if he should use the summoning items. He had another ground incense he could use as well as an item that would summon Ghost Pokemon he could train against. He could also catch the final ghost Pokemon he didn't have yet, Frillish. As he was deciding another trainer arrived, not a thug or a teenage girl who was evil but a hiker. He wasn't a cave hiker, he explained, Joshua liked to hike unmarked trails through the woods. Now that he was here he asked for a battle, Simon happily agreed. Having Shroomish out again Simon sent out his starter, Greninja to the field.

Combusken toughens up its legs and thighs by running through fields and mountains. This Pokemon's legs possess both speed and power, enabling it to dole out ten kicks in one second." Simon nodded as well, "I was happy when I received Greninja in his Froakie form. At first I was worried about battling, that if I lost he wouldn't like me anymore. I discovered that the fear wasn't there, he wasn't worried about being defeated, he loved the surge of battling. I'm sure your Combusken feels the same."Joshua nodded but inside figured that Combusken would be defeated quickly. Joshua was right, it only took a single hydro pump to defeat her.

Nodding, understandingly Joshua returned his fainted starter. "I have a plan to at least defeat one of your Pokemon," he send sending out Starly. Simon was perplexed by this as flying moves wouldn't be super effective against Greninja, thanks to his dark typing. Joshua watched as Starly flew trying to avoid the water move but took the hit regardless. Shaking it off Joshua called out a move Simon hadn't heard of, "Final Gambit." Starly glowed as if it was evolving but then charged at Greninja, Starly stopped but the glowing image of Starly smashed into Greninja. He fell but got up again as Starly suddenly fainted. Joshua returned Starly before explaining, "Final Gambit, does damage equal to the Pokemon's own health but causes the user to faint." That was quiet an impressive move, something that could really do damage if the Pokemon had high defense and health.

The final Pokemon Joshua sent out was "Qwilfish the balloon Pokemon. Qwilfish sucks in water, inflating itself. This Pokemon uses the pressure of the water it swallowed to shoot toxic quills all at once from all over its body. It finds swimming some what challenging." This would be a challenge because the type matching. Switching from water to psychic Greninja used extrasensory as Qwilfish rolled into a ball and smashing into Greninja over and over. If Starly had gone first last turn Simon would be concerned about Greninja because it would have taken out more than half his HP but he still had a lot and over time, before Quilfish's rollout could become too strong he knocked the water Pokemon out.

Shaking hands with Joshua as Simon healed up and returned Greninja. "How'd you get here?" Simon asked as Joshua shrugged. "Like I said I enjoy hiking and just started to wanted the forest and eventually found my way here. I have two other Pokemon that I don't let battle in case I need to get out, my Abra who can teleport us back to a Pokecenter. Along with Vibrava as my pocked Pokemon just in case." "Awesome," Simon said as Joshua said goodbye sending out his Abra and picking him up. Right before his eyes Joshua was teleported away by Abra to go and heal his team up. Once he was gone Simon removed the mysterious incense from his pack he cracked it open, the smoke that came out was the dirt one he smelled before. Instead of Numel a "Sandshrew the mouse Pokemon. Sandshrew has a very dry hide that is extremely tough. The Pokemon can roll into a ball that repels any attack. At night, it burrows into the desert sand to sleep." Sending out Shroomish to fight he first gave her a heart scale to learn Giga Drain, then she started to battle, Simon watched as she fired off bullet seeds at the ground Pokemon before it fainted. Since the life orb took some HP away from her he healed her up when it was over.

Understanding that the ground Pokemon would still follow him no matter where he went Simon packed everything up. Securing the pot into the pocket on the side Simon called for Shroomish to follow him. Before they left though another Sandshrew rolled up and instead of bullet seed Shroomish used Mega Drain. It had the same result, knocking out Sandshrew however the healing effect of mega drain wouldn't heal the Life Orb damage so Simon healed her up instead. "Good job Shroomish,"Simon said, if Shroomish could blush she would have, "Shoooo."

Maybe going home would be a good thing, after all he had just been all over Kalos. Alola had so many interesting things to do, and it was very pretty there.
