Sable had been already on her way to the ship and didn't hear Faolan's warning, but she did see the House Lyrander enforcers on their way to the ship. Well s**t. That's not good. She quickly makes her way to ship, leaping onto it at one end far from the gangplank and starts helping Aden make ready to fly.

Agre and Sable quickly made it to the airship, each of them seeing the rather suspicious looking group from House Lyrandar as they walked down the dock. They were getting much closer, and there were precious few minutes left before an altercation on the docks might be inevitable.

Cattagin looked at the remaining members of the crew. "Looks like you might need to be getting going, yes?"

Veliosia had been lost in the voices that he heard, not really paying attention, but the second Cattagin remarked about getting going, he realized that if the others had left so swiftly, something must have been up. "Not good," he says with a sigh, setting the payment for his drink on the table before following the others out the door, heading back towards the ship.

After relaying Aden's orders to the rest of the crew, Faolan turns and slithers out the window, taking to the sky once more. The Eidolon flies below the docks, approaching the advancing group of Lyrandar representatives. The winged snake keeps out of sight, beneath the boards, listening to the group, wondering if they had spotted the ship yet.

~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, back at the ship, Aden waves to each of the crew members in turn as they board the ship. "C'mon! All aboard, we need to get out of here NOW!" the half-elf says, gesturing to the Lyrandar representatives with a c**k of his head.
Through the din of the docks, Faolan can hear bits of garbled conversation coming from the Lyrandar agents.
"I'm telling you, we're on a wild goose chase."
"And I'm telling you, we got an anonymous tip that the Skybold was docked here. We can't go letting stolen airships just wander around willy-nilly."
"With Thresh and Crush here, we shouldn't have to worry too much about resistance, anyway. They'll take out the guys responsible for the theft..."
Back at the Skybold, it appears that all the crew have arrived and the ship is ready for departure.
{Thought we had 6 players there, but, looking through the history, one of them never posted, and the other one only posted once, so we'll just assume they aren't there anyway. You're short a healer, so I'll try not to kill you all too quickly...}
Once the rest of the crew was aboard, Aden runs to the Skybold's wheelhouse. Taking the helm, he reaches out to the ship's bound elemental with his Mark of the Storm. "Okay Skybold, it's time we skedaddled. Down and away from the dock, nice and slow. Let's not make it look like we're running away." he said to the ship as he turned the wheel, steering Skybold away from the dock. He made the ship descend lower instead of ascending higher like he normally would have done, so the Lyrandar representatives wouldn't get a good look at the ship as it headed below the docks.
'Hmmph, so House Lyrandar's now killing bandits outright instead of arresting them. What's this world coming to.' Faolan thinks to himself as he hovers unseen below the dock, eavesdropping on the conversation above. From his position below the docks, he could see the Skybold pulling away. However, Faolan thought it would be best to hold his position below the bunch from Lyrandar. If they tried to make chase, he could do what he could to slow them down. And with Aden's Unfetter spell, he'd have plenty of time to catch up on his own.
Veliosia definitely wasn't going to enjoy this little escape. He smiled as he looked towards Aden, seeing him take the helm before turning his attention to the voices of the dead once more, enjoying the thought of them. "Ah, how wonderful the world is. Perhaps somemthing delightfully interesting will happen."
As the Skybold left the dock, the Lyrandar agents swore. "I told you not to allow any ships to depart while we completed our sweep! Traveler curse you, you damn well better have a good explanation!"
"The... the... ship was cleared for departure by a writ from the Lord-Mayor, sir. It was marked as a dignitary vessel and not to be held up! I thought you knew!" The somewhat incensed man brandished a sheet of parchment.
Veliosia decided that he wanted a good view of what was bound to happen on the docks as their ship departed. He headed for the open areas, standing just out of sight in the entrance back to the bridge, watching as the men on the dock yell and fight with one another.
Sable laughed slightly at the men below. Though I am curious as to how we managed that sort of status... She grinned.
"Well, this seems a decent start at least," she said to Veliosia.
As the Skybold takes to the air, you see one of the dock workers moving over to assist the Lyrandar agents. From this distance, you can't be sure, but it looks like Cattagin in the dock worker's uniform. He appears to be bowing in apologetic supplication to the irate half-elf.
Having made your escape from the dock, you find yourselves in the free skies above Eberron, the wind whipping across the deck and the sound of the elemental engine keeping your ship aloft. Checking your maps, you set a course for your destination, which will take a few days travel. No Lyrandar ships appear to be following you, and in a short time, you find yourself over the nation of Droaam, land of monsters. In the distance, you can make out the mountains that comprise much of the country, flights of gargoyles darting amongst rocky peaks partly obscured by the clouds.
Sable sits on the highest point of the ship, a slim figure in black clinging to the mast. She surveys the land below, and then calls down to the deck below: "Hey, Aden, head a little bit more to the west. I think I've spotted the first point on Cattigan's map!"
Faolan had quickly caught up with Skybold after the ship left the docks, and after he was satisfied that the Lyrandar representatives would not be making pursuit. Now the Eidolon was at his usual post, flying alongside the airship, keeping an eye out for any flying aggressors.
Hearing Sable call out, Aden gives the wheel a turn, steering the ship towards the west. "How about we descend a little as well? Just enough for a better view though, not low enough to attract the attention of all those gargoyles." he says aloud to the ship's bound elemental, an old habit of his.
As the Skybold lowers itself, you feel a strong and cold wind sweep across the deck of the ship, carrying small particles of ice and snow from the mountains ahead. You can make out the rocky crags below, lined with monumental trees and running with crystalline streams. In the distance, you see some sort of natural outcropping that is likely the entrance to the cave network that Cattagin indicated. Not far from the entrance, a herd of elk graze.
Feeling the chill in the air as they descend, Aden buttons up his coat. Spying the outcropping of rock below, he lowers Skybold, preparing to dock. "I believe that's what we're looking for." he calls out to the rest of the crew. "Everyone keep an eye on those gargoyles. I'm trying to keep my distance, but we ready in case they take an interest in us."
"Let them come, we'll smash them to gravel!" Faolan says jubilantly, continuing his flight path around the ship.
