I looked over, noticing Eddie. I had to hurry up and finish this fight with this Arcanine hybrid. Eddie was on his last legs, and given that he was trying to recover from prior injuries, I had to end this fast. I looked back at the Arcanine hybrid still reeling from the powerful gut shot. I charged forward, unleashing one relentless assault upon the hybrid hound...
"AERIAL ACE!" I yelled out, landing one massive upper cut, sending the firebrand off the ground. I leaped up and landed a flurry of punches and kicks, until I finished up with one powerful kick to send the Arcanine hybrid back to the ground.
When I landed back on the ground. The Arcanine hybrid staggered up and looked back at me, looking real pissed right now. "You...are...not going to beat me like this!" the beast roared out.
"..........."
The Arcanine hybrid rushed for me once again, and when he did, I found it high time that I ended it. "ANCIENTPOWER!" Massive icicles came out from the ground and squeezed the Arcanine in tight. "Good night...END IT!" I clinched my fist, and the attack detonated fiercely in the cavern. It was there after all the debris started flying everywhere, the mist faded, where the Arcanine hybrid fell to his knees, then fell flat on his face.

The flames fade from Eddie and reveal that he's on one knee, unmoving. The flames from the dragonbreath seem to have paralyzed him.
The Hybrid stands up and runs at Eddie again, this time with a dragon rush. "This hit will be your last!" he yells, an aura surrounding him. He is closing in quickly.
Eddie struggles, unable to move still. "Grrr." he growls, his body straining to break the hold that the paralysis has over his body. "Moooove!" he yells, jumping up from the ground and slashing diagonally and cutting into the body of the Garchomp hybrid, leaving Eddie soaring through the air.
The Hybrid trips and falls onto its face, then starts tumbling, the sword staying inside its body as he lies on his stomach. "Dammit." he mumbles, closing his eyes.
Eddie lands on the ground and falls to his knees. He lifts his shirt and looks at his stomach, the stitches are still in place. "That's good." he says. He looks over to his shoulder and sees the blood seeping through the shirt, and the blood on his arm. He touches his face and sees the blood on his hand again. "Damn. He got me good." he says. Looking over to Blizz, he stays on his knees, to keep from falling, and he chuckles.

With a sigh I walked over to my Ice Sword, picking it up off the ground. "I really got to work on my sword play..." I said, sheathing the blade and taking off the gauntlets. I looked over towards Eddie then saw something. Good God, he's in worse shape than he was before we started. "Eddie..." I rushed over to him and looked him over. "Ugh...Eddie, are you going to be alright?" I asked. "God, man...you shouldn't push yourself so hard. You're no good to anyone dead." I said.

Eddie looks to Blizz and gets to his feet by using his hands to stand up. "Yeah. I'm alright." he says. He shuffles over to the Garchomp hybrid and rips the Zweihander from the body. Yeah, that thing is gonna keep him dead. He puts the sword in front of him and uses it as a cane in front of him, helping him stand. "I push myself, because that's what I have to do for myself. I have to endure the pain in order to deal with future pain. That's my philosophy." he says, walking back to Blizz. "Let's go."

All he has is the drive to fight and nothing more. Its like its all he knows is fighting...and pain...as if the definition of peace doesn't exist. I pitied this guy. "Alright..." I said, running off in the hunt for Blaine.

"Okay, now that that's over, it should be a bit smoother, right?" he asks, wincing from the pain in his body occasionally. "Because I'm getting a bit tired." he says. "This is far from over. That was just only two hybrids, against God knows how many else in here. Worse still, with that fight, we're sure to have attracted attention." I told him. "We're in a outrageous bind that we're going to be hard pressed to get out of."

Speaks the one who is severely injured and still has a good bit of the mission to go. I shook my head, then made a sigh. "Alright, come on." I said. I continued on through the Seafoam caverns, feeling rather worried. A injured Eddie, this cult now showing they have hybrid allies, Blaine as hostage. One has to ask what will go wrong next? --------------- Above the two Snagems, on the next cavern floor, sat Blaine. Why wasn't he yelling out all forms of profanity? Not only he was bound, he was also gagged. His Pokeballs, stripped from him so he wouldn't fight back. The cult members around Blaine were scattering out throughout the cavern, both human and hybrid alike. The fight from below did get their attention and they were going to be ready for anything if they could help it. The leader figure of them, dressed in a fiery red hood and cape, stood close by Blaine, ready to use him as leverage if push came to shove.

Eddie just follows Blizz to wherever he may go, trusting him to lead him where they need to go. "Do you think that we're gonna be finding him soon?" he asks. Still using his sword as a cane, he's doing well with keeping up with Blizz. "Because, the more time we waste with walking, the more chance we have of losing Blaine. I'm okay to go faster, you know." he says and chuckles, then uses the cane to propel himself past Blizz.

Still using his sword as a cane, he's doing well with keeping up with Blizz. "Because, the more time we waste with walking, the more chance we have of losing Blaine. I'm okay to go faster, you know." he says and chuckles, then uses the cane to propel himself past Blizz. "I know that." I said to him. "But its also bad the other way around...the more we try to bulldoze our way to our objective, the quicker we might bring Blaine to his end too. Whoever is in charge here had to have brought Blaine all the way out here for a reason. He probably won't end Blaine unless he knows for certain he isn't going to get what he wants out of us. Though that leaves us with a problem...I got no intention of giving whoever is in charge anything other than a Sheer Cold."

"I have a feeling though, that we're gonna get caught up in something pretty soon." he says. "I have to agree. I think I hear movement above us...I think that's where the party is at. Crap...they're probably guarding all entrances to the next floor. Blast those hybrids." I told him. I thought for a second then looked back at Eddie. "Divide and conquer?" I asked.

Eddie looks up at the ceiling and nods. "Yeah, I think dividing will be our best option, though, I might worry about you. Hah." he says. "But dividing would increase our chances of finding Blaine, even if it may increase the danger for either of us." he adds. "I take...the right." he decides. "Just make sure to keep an eye out." He then disappears into the other passage.

"But dividing would increase our chances of finding Blaine, even if it may increase the danger for either of us." he adds. "I take...the right." he decides. "Just make sure to keep an eye out." He then disappears into the other passage. It was a option that really didn't want to go for, to be honest. Not with Eddie in the shape he was in, but really, he's apparently thinking the same thing that I did. Increase that chance to find Blaine, despite upping the risk in being taken out. Ugh...this is ridiculous. I took the left passage and started to go up a rock face. I took out a Pokeball, getting ready on anything that may be coming down upon me. "..........."
