My first one would be a shiny Linoone (zigzagoon) that I mistakingly nicknamed "Oran". -.- Oh well..
I got that from Ruby...trying to catch that crazy Latios..>_o

A shiny Oddish in Fire Red. It was so green it looked overdosed on chlorophyll.
The red Gyarados doesn't count, jeez. >_<.

actually, i never got a shiny..
but my bro's friend has this thing that givesyou shiny pokemon.
but he gave me some stuff, too, but..
NO SHINY!
instead he gave me shaymin and jirachi.

I'm going way back to the gold/silver/crystal series!
My very first shiny was a Red wooper, unoriginally named 'Repoow der', which was 'Red Wooper' spelt backwards.

my first RARE COLORED poke'mon was probably red garydos from the lake of... something that sounded really threatening. in pokemon crystal.

I think my first shiny was a pink(maybe it was light magenta) and green-eared Whismur in Sapphire.

My first shiny was a purple slugma on silver. Then strangely enough I got one on emerald. eek

My first shiny Pokemon other than the red Garydos was a yelllow Magicarp that I evolved into a red Garydos.

mine was a shiny caterpie. Actually it was my 6 year old brothers. HE caught it! but out of kindness he gave it to me from firered to pearl, and I evolved it into a butterfree.

my first shiny creature was an unown "A"in the ruins... I didn't have any poke balls though and was fairly ticked... ^^

Red Gyarados doesn't count... But green does! That's wasn't my first though I don't think.
Hmm.. It was a silver Pinsir I think, during the Bug Contest in Silver. my pokemon was poisoned though, plus I ran out of balls.. gonk
I've also found a bright green Tangela, and for some reason I'm thinking orange Caterpie.. But since I don't own any pokemon games other than Leaf Green and Diamond now, I have 0 shineys. crying
