Sliaqui sat in the first room she had entered, a book in her lap, eyes fixated upon the text written within. Since the two most important had exited she had taken to reading a book on Herbology so as to better her mind within the field of herbal concoctions. There wasn't much she didn't already know in the book, it was just a new read.

" I've no doubt he recognized us the second we set foot here. " He smiled, shaking his head. " If he wants his, he will come to us... To seek him out would be a fools endeavor. He would likely kill anyone to approach him. We've no idea if he wants to return to us or not. " He sighed softly.

" You will not take the basement. You will go out and choose your own room. Now. " He ordered, eyes narrowed before returning his attention to his distressed mate. " A parent is not responsible for the actions of their child. You did the best you could. It is the child's choice to throw all that care back in your face, or accept it and live a good life.. "

Aries thinks for a moment before nodding again. "True... However... I am sincerely hoping he doesn't plan to dismantle what little clan we have managed to keep together... Or wipe us out entirely." She said, eyes flicking slowly to the windows nearby.

Sophitia scowls slightly at the order, but doesn't stay another minute in the room with her fathers, instead, looking at each floor below theirs carefully before selecting a room on the very first floor, as far away from those of higher power as she could get without disobeying her father and going into the basement. She frowns again at the decor in the room, then shrugs before curling up on the floor in the middle of the room. After having spent so much of her life living outside in the elements and not having a bed, she wasn't about to start trusting the things now.

Darren sighs, watching Sophitia practically flee the room. "No, I do blame myself. If I were stronger, like you, she probably would have turned out more like her brother, Valin, and would feel more comfortable here amongst us rather than outside like some wild dog."

" Wipe us out? Hopefully, no such think will happen. " He said thoughtfully. " Atleast not immediately. He'll need us. He has been asleep a very long time, and we can easily answer any questions he may have. We would be much more convenient than him having to go off and seek out his answers. "
An amused chuckle escaped him at the simple truth of his own words. Though he could not bring himself to voice only one of them would need to be alive for such a questioning.

He glared after his daughter, before rounding his attention back onto his mate. Easily, he lifted him, taking his place in the chair, before pulling the other male into his lap.
He was more than happy to keep him close, very much missing the contact form his far too human mate. Normally such a thing would disgust him. But were Darren any different, his love would be misplaced. The other had captured his heart long ago, exactly how he was.
" Were she not to act like a wild dog, she would find herself more comfortable here. " He countered. " I fear not even I could have raised her better. She and her twin are polar opposites in personality. "

" Ahhh, yes. He is indeed coming. Miyavi believes so at the least. It should be quite the situation. " He murmured to himself thoughtfully. He knew WHO was coming. But he knew next to nothing of the ancient, or the details. It had him quite ill at ease.
With a bow, he flashed her a fangy grin. " Call me if you so should need defense, or company, my dear lady. "
With that, he slipped from the room to leave her to her work, returning to his prowling.

When he had first awoken, over a month earlier, he had been little more than a mummy. So dry, and empty of blood...
The hunger had been unbearable. And as such, he has lost himself entirely. It was only a week ago that he had truly awoken. How many mortals had he slaughtered to feed his blood lust? Certainly more than the news papers stated. They may never be able to find all the bodies.
A smirk of amusement graced him at the thought. Poor little fodder.
He let his thoughts trail off as he finally found himself standing in front of the large and rather beautiful hotel. Even could he not sense them, the message they left him in the paper would have led him to them easily. Slowly, blood red eyes took in the building before he moved forward to enter.
His presence was carefully masked, not yet wanting his elder Childer to know he had returned. Slowly, he moved through the halls, until he came across the room he desired. A room containing a fresh young neonate.
The door eased open, and shut once more as he allowed himself entry, studying the Childe before him. It was a good minute before he moved forward to tower over the sitting kat, alerting her to her company by simply beginning to speak.
" You have an interest in books, little Childe? Or are you simply attempted to fend off an eternity of boredom? " It came out as a curious purr, though the voice was such that would send a chill down your spine. It promised power, and a willingness to use said power for the slightest reason. Even without looking at him, it was obvious he was one to respect.

Aries frowns thoughtfully, knowing exactly what the other's train of thought was. "Perhaps a warning to the younger Childer to mind their manners in case someone.... happens to show up. I would rather none of them insulted him, after all." She said softly, running a hand through her black and red hair quickly.

Darren sighs, curling closer to his mate. "Lidos... What exactly was it about me that attracted you again..? I get the feeling that your sister and the others aren't exactly fond of my presence here. Especially not since Sophitia came into existence." He murmurs, his face buried against Lidos' neck.

Sophitia, of course, was in her new room, although instead of sleeping now, she was studying a small, weather-worn leather bound book, eyes flicking over the pages slowly, memorizing everything she could. It was a book of different magics she had found in the basement of one of the clan's older dwellings and she had kept it with her, practicing the fire spells within it's pages when not around her family or within the clan's sight. She had a fiery temper herself, so felt that the element of fire suited her personality better in regards to magic. Fire could be used as defense, as well as for the trivial chores of lighting candles for rituals or incense. Her white and brown tail flicks slowly, every ounce of her attention focused on the book before her as she lay on the floor, not paying attention to anything that may or may not enter her room.

Silaqui jumped, not expecting a new voice, let alone one so scary. "N-neither." The neonate stuttered, looking up from her book at Tzimisce. Straight away she knew he was one far more important than she could ever become in the clan and proceeded to shut the book and bow to him.
"An honor to meet you." Came her squeak of a voice from under her hat. The one thing that made her stand out from most others was her odd choice in head gear, and she never took it off. Even if the elders requested it.
Initially his voice had scared her, though his appearance would've sent more down her spine than his voice. Standing straight now she looked up at him, more curious as to why he was there than scared of him.

He winced, nodding slowly. " But what to say to them? They may be fearful were we to tell them the truth of why they should mind their tongue. " He said thoughtfully, rising from the chair to begin pacing.

He smiled slightly, nestling his face into the other's hair contently. " The first thing.. would be the lack of fear. Even after I explained to you what I was, you held no fear towards me... I had never encountered such a thing. However, the reason why I even told you... Was because of your smile. " He said thoughtfully. It felt like so long ago, the day he first met Darren as he slid along the shadows of the trees to avoid that damnable sun.

" Sophitia... " Came the soft voice to her side, Valin looking over his sister curiously. To see his sister study. It was a shock. He did not know she held an interest in the magiks of their clan. And truly it worried him for her to practice it alone.
" Where did you get that book? " He frowned, moving forward to her.

Another smirk graced him at the Childe's reaction. " And glad I am to meet you little one. Were it no for study, or boredom, then why do I find you with that book? " He asked in a curious tone as he continued to take in the other kat.
Young, but she certainly had some potential at the least. He felt no desire to remove her from his presence. He had not been quite sure what to expect from small assortment of members for this clan.
He could feel Aries nearby. But he did not know how long the Childe he sired had been awake and with the clan. Still, it seemed his fear that his name had been branded to filth were un-needed if the one before him was anything to go by.

Aries stands up, looking around slowly. "I get the feeling he's already here, so telling them to be respectful would be a wasted effort now." She says, glancing at Miyavi. "I am sure that if he meets the demon childe that he will be unhappy" She says, frowning. "Or Lidos' mate, since he doesn't exactly fit the clans needs..." She allowed the sentence to drop off before sitting back down.

Darren smiles again, giving a small purr before shuddering a bit. "I get the feeling someone... is here." He murmurs, eyes flicking towards the door. "Do you think the kids might be in danger, Lidos...?"

Sophitia's eyes flick up to stare at her brother for a moment before flicking back down to the book. "I've had the book for quite awhile. It was from the first place we were chased from, actually. I crawled into the basement, and it was sitting there, collecting cobwebs and dust. So I took it. It doesn't seem it was missed in the least, and it has been... helpful... to me in choosing something to use to be of use to the clan as something other than the worthless dog I am." She says, no hint of emotion in her voice before turning the page.

"Requirement?" It was a pathetic answer, but of course she could think of no other reason to have been reading the book. It wasn't particularly for study, nor was it to pass the hours.
Silaqui continued to look up at him, unsure of how to act as she had no idea how much higher in rank he was than her. Surely the fearsome appearance had to mean he was high in rank, but how high?

He stilled his pacing, frowning at the uneasiness that entered him at her words. " If he comes across that Childe... Then I fear we may be doomed. " He scowled, moving to kneel easily at his Sire's feet. He looked up to her, resting his head against her knee. " Though... worry will get us nowhere. "

" If they were, there is nothing we could do to prevent it. " He said, soothingly stroking his mates hair. " It is best not to meddle in business that is not our own. "
He too had been informed of who was coming. And he could only hope to avoid that meeting as long as he could, quite unsure of the fate that could be waiting for his mate.

He nods slowly, settling across from her. " Why speak of yourself in such an ill manner? " He asked, as he let himself settle in. " Were you only to push your confidence forward, and fulfill your potential, you would easily be a member of this clan... "

He quirked a brow at such an answer, reaching out to cup the Childe's chin. " Certainly not the answer I expected. But an amusing one none the less. Your name. What is it? And who is your Sire? " He asked her as he slowly let go, a damp trail of blood left behind where he had touched. Honestly, he was rather blood soaked from the rage he had so recently been in.
Such a state did not bother him in the least. It was quite pleasant compared to that terribly brittle dryness of before.

Aries simply nods, reaching down to run a hand over Miyavi's head. "Perhaps we should take a look around, anyway? We don't have any guards here, after all, which is, to me anyway, a bad idea since people are a tad too curious about our hotel."

Darren sighs, finding himself not able to relax fully in his mate's arms while thought of harm to even his most difficult child came to mind.

Sophitia raises an eyebrow at her brother. "Because that's what I am. A dog." She lets out a short bark of laughter at the last statement. "In case you forgot, brother dear, I wanted nothing to do with this clan as a child. I have plenty of confidence in my abilities. I'm not a complete novice in them, after all. All that time I spent away from the clan was not just studying different ways to torture things. I also practiced using this book." She said, raising the well-cared for, if worn out looking book up. "It's pretty much the only thing that convinced me that I should at least try to be with my clan, even if I didn't want to."

"Silaqui Nai'sho." Came her answer, quick and prompt. A name was nothing to fret about giving out, especially to one higher in rank than herself. "Aries is my sire." surely he would know who Aries was, she was one of the eldest two that Sil knew of. "If I may, what is your name?" The neonate asked, looking up at him.
The blood he left upon her chin was nothing new. She had done the same during those nights that she couldn't resist eating any longer. Though she inwardly wished that he hadn't gotten blood on her dress. She had just cleaned it that morning.

He smirked at that, nodding slowly. " Actually, young Valin is guarding the hotel. Though, I fear he may only defend us against mortals. He is too young yet to protect us from fellow creatures of the night. "
Slowly he rose, offering his hand to her to help her from the chair. " A quick sweep of our home couldn't hurt. "

" They are smart children... They will not be harmed if they do nothing to deserve such harm. " He said in a soothing tone, cluthing the other male closer to himself, willing him to relax.

He frowned at that, head tilting slowly. " Do you really hate the clan so? Our parents? Myself? Why do you act this way... "

He smirked slowly once more, shifting to give a bow to the lady. He was nothing, if not a gentleman after all. The culture and mannerisms of old england were something he had grown fond of long ago.
" Silaqui... An interesting name. I, my dear little Childe, and Tzimisce... " He watched her closely to take note of her expression. It would no doubt be quite interesting. For one so young to meet him so personally. Normally not something he would be fond of. However, to know the status of his clan, it was easiest to check the youngest first.
