Please be careful around the dust bunnies. I have them half-trained to fetch me snacks. I've at least gotten them to fetch them, but they seem to forget they're supposed to be for me. At least I have a bunch of granola bar wrappers. I'm sure I'll find a use for them. I'll just pile them up with the rest of this stuff over here.

Evil Sith Clone DD-57 Esme Marie Cullen Happy Friday Everyone! Since I saw a post in my bump thread DD, I hope that means your flooring job is done! Out Of Character: Nope. We had to tear through several layers of old flooring to get to the bottom of it, and when we did, we discovered a terrible mold problem and several pieces of the original wood which were broken and deteriorated. In addition to that, we had to remove several large sections of the walls which were destroyed by mold and replace them with new drywall. All of the cabinets ans appliances are removed from the kitchen at this time, but there has been progress. I bump your glow with smileys while I'm on break at work, and I still maintain the games daily, but we're far from done. However, I am really glad we're doing this because of the health issues we have been having due to mysterious causes.Be sure to determine the cause of the mold and correct it! That's nasty stuff & keeps coming back. The best thing to do is remove and replace any material with mold on it but, you also need to stop it from happening again.

That's nasty stuff & keeps coming back. The best thing to do is remove and replace any material with mold on it but, you also need to stop it from happening again. Oh, we found the source, alright! Next to the refrigerator, on each side, are tall cabinets. The wise-guys who did the original remodel in the kitchen decided that since there were going to be cabinets over these tiles, they wouldn't have to fill in the grout lines . We had a leak in the refrigerator which only occurred when it made ice, therefore, it was not noticeable. When the water would leak, it would run under one of the cabinets, so we never saw any moisture. As it ran under the tile, it destroyed everything underneath it. It was awful! We removed all of the levels of flooring, all seven of them, under the tiles, and then sprayed hydrogen peroxide on the wooden joists. I went over it again with soap and bleach and let it dry before I replaced the sub-floor with a new piece.
