Then they were finally back here. At least they were almost there, at least this time they would be going to a newer area of the city. So Terrence was a bit less annoyed than before. He looked around, before swiftly moving towards the direction sign. He needed to make sure that he knew where he was going. The last thing he needed to do was back track or worse get lost. He really didn't want to go through something like that again. Sighing, he moved his eyes as he read the sign. Good they needed to go this direction. With that he moved towards the other side of the city, relieved that he would finally be going to a newer area that he hadn't been to yet. Thank Arceus for that!

It was a bumpy ride at points where the tail wasn't as heavily used by travelers like herself but was never impassable. Emory for the first few days had stayed planted on the front porch to oversee every detail of the journey but after that, it became quite clear Mudsdale had everything under control. Emory assumed his former trainer had taught him well on how to read the road. He hardly ever hit anything that caused too much of a fuss in the cabin for her. In fact, she couldn't think of a time the Pokemon had actually hit a pot hole or something of that nature. Good because she hadn't a clue how to fix a wagon wheel. Along the way, Emory would pause to take on every wild Pokemon she could in order to strengthen both the emotional bond with her Pokemon and their strength in battle.
Emory preferred to sleep inside the wagon at night but tonight was an exception. A full moon accompanied by being miles from the nearest artificial light source left Emory with a near perfect view of the night sky over Kalos. From her campsite in an open field, she could see the milky way as it stretched from one edge of the sky to the other. The mixture of colors that faded into one another and complex twisting of one arm of the galaxy as it converged into one another. It was among the most beautiful things she would imagine and something missed from her years traveling with Jessica. Such a sight was impossible to gain back home in the big city.
Come morning Emory made the decision not to keep moving just yet. It was Isolated here and that means it was peaceful. No risk of being bothered by noisy people. It made for the perfect place to begin training her Pokemon. Unlike most trainers who simply had to train for their gym battles, Emory had to first teach her Pokemon how to understand her. No small task for someone unable to speak of her own free will. Only Lupounny made it even possible being able to translate sign language. It meant she could communicate with her new Pokemon via a Pokemon translator. It would take time to make them each understand but Emory was up to the challenge.

Noel’s eyes went wide as they landed on the walkways of Lumiose City, staring at the massive city before him. Now this was something new; he was aware that Lumiose City was one of the largest cities across the regions but seeing it with his own eyes really put those claims into perspective. The fact that he was only on the south side of the city and that it was still this massive was overwhelming. People walked the streets or road Gogoats to get from one place to another, taxis and cars occupying the roads as well to shuttle people to their destinations. There were massive billboards advertising different things or showing different news outlets and for a bit, Noel just stood watching them and taking it in. This was something he wasn’t quite use too.

Black City was big, but it was composed primarily of sprawling buildings and skyscrapers, industrial to a sort of business level. There were a few billboard screens here and there but they hardly displayed the same content as what he was seeing here. Sherlock kept his focus to the path and led them along through the city without much hesitation. Noel had removed Algernon from his coat to allow the Espurr to walk beside him after the pokemon made the request, most likely so that he could enjoy the view a little better. OR keep track of the Lillipup easier without having to worry about falling through his trainer’s coat. Either way, he stuck close, keeping an eye out for anything strange. This city reminded him of Castelia and he recalled the situation with the weird pokemon appearing and attacking them unprovoked. That had been a weird time.

It wasn’t long before they all stumbled across the area that the egg was residing in. It was a small park area, more than likely a place for people to relax and sight see or people watch. There were several benches carefully placed with little pathways and small fencing to protect the arrangements of flowers that were there to decorate the path. Luckily, they didn’t have to wander into them; the egg Sherlock had been tracking was underneath one of the benches and he swiftly retrieved it to send it off. With that done they headed back out to the sidewalk, Noel retrieving the pager for the ride and using it. They’d traveled quite a bit ways away but the Pidgeot didn’t have trouble locating them nor landing and soon they were off once more.

South Lumiose was something breathtaking, even after the second time you'd traveled through it. Tay leaned over over Mave's side, mouth agape by the sight of the large central tower. "Woooow!" She exclaimed, holding up her hand to shield her eyes from the glare of the sun as it rose over the mountains in the distance. Avikna grinned to herself. She'd known Tay would find this place nice. She herself found something quaint about Lumiose. It was a maze of a city, but with many different modes of transportation it didn't seem like that bad a place to live. Lumiose had a different architect that Fuchsia did, so this was likely a nice treat for the girl. Tay turned on her heel and quickly ran up to Avikna as the red-head got off Mave, grabbing her hand and tugging at it. "Let's explore!" She voiced. "I bet one of the parks we saw has the egg." Avikna nodded. Allowing herself to be tugged for awhile, eventually Tay let go on her own and ran down a nearby alley into a park. Ever the wild child.

Watching Tay from a nearby park bench, Avikna noticed a woman walk through, leading along a tall looking dog-like Pokemon. She recognized it as a Furfrou, but found it funny that this one had no outrageous haircut. It was a normal white coat. Leaning back she turned her gaze back towards the park. Tay was kneeling on the ground by some younger children, showing off Elias it seemed. Basically a child herself, Avikna felt there was no need to intrude. She could see the nearby mothers and fathers laughing at their children's reactions to the Alolan bird. Elias himself didn't seem to mind the touching and pulling of his feathers. The bird even displayed his ability to turn his head 180 in all directions. Simply astonishing the young kids.

Elias took the forefront, while the boy released his first Pokemon. A Noibat. Tay motioned forward ordering Elias to use Tackle, but instead the bird summoned up a great ball of green energy. The Noibat itself took the blow, but returned fire with a leech life attack. Tay was rather confused by what had just transpired, resorting to the dex to figure it out. She realized now, that Elias didn't have Tackle anymore, he'd forgotten it. But this new move was far stronger, despite being disadvantaged by the foe's typing. Whatever the case, she decided to stick to it. "Use Energy Ball again!" Tay called out. Though despite his efforts, Elias was felled by another Leech life. It wasn't long after that Tay finally managed to take down the Noibat, but with only Cotee at her side.
