XXXXXXXXXXXXXXTsubaki stared at the ANBU members unabashedly, taking in their mask designs and stances. Yamanakas had a long history of over-achieving as ANBU; in fact, they were almost the only ones to ever be qualified to join early. This begged her interest and she couldn't resist taking mental notes on the shinobi in front of her. Then, Choumei mentioned their missives and a rational way to go about the new mission.
Yasu then chimed in with, "I have a plan."
Tsubaki accepted her missive with a nod and turned to Yasuhiro with an interested expression. "I hope this is good, Nara," she teased, knowing strategy was precisely what the shadow clan was known for.
As the ANBU of the village finally showed up, Kirumi looked on in envy, as she had always wanted to be in the elite group of theirs. Yamanaka were among the few who were eligible starting out, but she had her doubts that she could make a very successful one anyway. Choumei stepped forward to take their missives, as did the rest of the team. Not wanting to waste time, the young one stepped forward and obtained her missive as well, looking towards Yasuhiro after he had summoned the both of them. "Here, Yasu-chan." SHe said absentmindedly, unaware of picking up what Choumei had called him.

食 Just as Chōumei was getting into her more quizzical side, she'd drop that like a bad habit and chime into Yasu's odd posture looking on at him as if he'd been holding something quite shiny and lovely indeed. In fact he was just making this odd hand-sign and Chōumei had no idea which on it was or to what nature it called to. Chōumei Didn't question it when Yasu-chin exclaimed he'd had a plan she simply huddled up with the others playing a bit with hair and then standing in a "superhero" pose withher hands on her hips puffing outher chest as she'd await his news. "You, heard Tsu-chan, this better be something good. I was on a roll there...I think. Whop , whatever, you're good for all that thinking jig Yasu-chin,Osu, so~o, shu shu, go on now." Waving the back of her hand to push Yasu-chin towards explaining himself, (as if she even needed to). It gave her the feeling that she wasn't essentially just following him rather than leading. Then again Chōumei wasn't really much of that kind of leader, and she wasn't opposed to following those better suited than her in moments when her own abilities failed.
Putting a little dip to her hips and posture as she'd lean in to Yasu-chin placing her hand back on her hip and giving him a deep gaze.

Their depth and devotion to the weapon arts allows their skill to increase with every rank allowing their weapons to cut through defensive bukijutsu techniques of the same rank.
• Walking Contradiction: Chōsu has oddly no trouble when it comes to performing genjutsu, contradicting and overriding her clans normal weakness in this area, and all ninjutsu and genjutsu slots are compounded into genjutsu, yet learning genjutsu does take one [1] more post for her than others. (not conflicting with buki discipline b/c she "would of" had them)
• Prodigious martial-Artist!: Chōsu has a large and curvy build and flexible physical shape that allows her to learn and practice most any(soft or hard) Buki or Tai-jutsu style rigorous or not with just one [1] slot. Provided her curvy physique has the benefit of mass for hard-style, and springy flexibility for soft-style. (though purely light-weight styles are restricted when heavy) Yet this is a taxing task in terms of the time it takes to learn these Jutsu increasing learning requirements by one [1] post.

Once the three had all gathered around he nodded and began. First by taking a knee and drawing circle in the dirt with a kunai. Over the course of the next few moments a map of the village slowly took shape. Once he finished he took a deep breath and began explaining,"Theres going to be an attack on the village, from within. Thats why shinobi have been deployed all across the village and anbu in key areas. That being said the Hokage doesnt know where the attack is going to happen because if he did then the village itself wouldnt have been activated and instead only a few dozen anbu would have. So hes spread us out across the village as a means of visual deterrent. Given the locations of teams that were listed when the village was first put on alert, and the locations the anbu so kindly provided, I have narrowed down the locations that are under the biggest threat as they are undefended and hold either military, political, or economic value. First is the residential district, which will be our first stop, second is the monument, then the hospital, then the dojo. Once we sweep those we can hit the rest of the areas. But those are the most important. If your going to make a statement with a covert attack then targeting the civilians is the fastest and loudest way to do it. At each and every one of these areas," Looking up he pointed to Tsubaki-chan and Kirumi-chan before continuing,"I need you two to take advantage of your abilities to find any chakra signatures out of the ordinary. Take your time while you search, its highly likely they will be doing their best to make their signatures blend into the environment. If we are lucky and they are stupid they will hide it completely so check for blank spots. Where you cant sense equivalent chakra to the environment around it." Pointing to Chou-chan he nodded,"You and I will draw attention to ourselves by walking in the most out in the open obvious places while Tsubaki-chan and Kirumi-chan stick to the crowds. Before we head out I need you two," he pointed to Tsubaki and Kirumi,"To link us telepathically so we can adjust in a moments notice without resorting to vocal communication." This time he looked up to address all three at the same time,"Our objective here shouldnt be the capture of whoever is planning, its a show of force. By projecting so many shinobi though the village its showing that we are ready and able to combat any and all situations that arise and we have to do our best as a part of that show. But that being said keep your eyes open and maintain your situational awareness. Any questions?" What knelt before them was not the same Yasu as before, instead the kind soft and happy man was replaced by a cold, ruthless, tactician to whom everything was able to be rationalized.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXThe purple-haired genin listened attentively, nodded at random intervals and creating mental notes. She agreed with his plan and met eyes with Kirumi as he requested that they be telepathically connected. She nodded her head slightly and formed a hand seal, spreading her chakra out to attach their thoughts. "Any questions?"
Tsubaki smiled and thought at her squad, "When do we start?"
As it seemed, Yasuhiro planned to use both Tsubaki and Kirumi as sniffing hounds to locate any possible attackers within the village. The dark news made the young Yamanaka member slightly anxious about what their findings would produce. Still, she put on a brave face and nodded in relation to the plan as Tsubaki then drew out the telepathy links to her squad. Kirumi mimicked the older female, quickly ensuring that her thoughts could be heard as well while linking herself with Yasuhiro, Choumei, and Tsubaki. "S-So what happens if we find anything we can't handle? We're just Genin after all..." She reminded everyone while rubbing her left arm in embarassment. Not wanting to bring down the mood, but remind them of their abilities, Kirumi whined and said. "Ah-I'm sorry! I didn't mean anything like that! I just....they might be...." She trailed off, furrowing her brows as her thoughts became jumbled.

食 Listening intently to Yasu-chin's plan, Chōumei only really understood a certain percent of it that we need not discuss. Yet the plan seemed clean cut enough for her. Yasu-chin used his big brain to figure out where the enemy might strike first or be most focused on, and they'd play the bait while Tsu-chan and Kiru-chan stayed to the outside as support, and a life line in case they needed help. Tsu-chan seemed ready as ever, but Kiru-chan, she had questions. After giving Yasu-chin an affirming nod and smirk Chōumei would turn to Kirumi with a toothed grin. "Aww~, common Kiru-chan you gotta pay attention. I'm not much for plans, but Yasu-chin already covered it. We're showing the force of the village, not just our squad. As a part of the great leaf village shinobi military we're perfectly able to call for reinforcements if things get to dicey. Main thing is as the first folks on scene we keep the baddies on their toes and off balance so they can't achieve their goals, and we save as many lives as possible. Which to me little Kiru-chan means all of'em. NOW~ Osu~! Stand tall and Let me see you grit those Teeth! We're moving out."
Chōumei would say this while stepping ever closer and closer to Kiru-chan and looking down at her before slamming her fist into her chest just above her heart to symbolize her vigor. Chōumei wasn't sure if that was exactly what yasu-chin had in mind but it seemed to make sense to her. They weren't going to just runaway to save themselves, but they weren't about to let themselves be hurt or taken down easily. With their skills and the fact that they choose to be shinobi was something they had to honor and live up to. Chōumei would turn on her heel to face towards the direction of the residential district and would look over her shoulder at Kiru-chan and the others. ""Remember! Nihongo Squad never runs away when people weaker than us are left in the fray! We fight until we find a betta way!...Didn't mean to make that rhyme~, okay lets just , you know, go...Op, also Tsu-chan and Kiru-chan should stash their headbands before we even get in range of the area. It's easier to hide that way. Also Tsu-chan needs to drop some of that confidence in your posture. It's a dead give that you can give someone a beat down.

Once he started hearing Tsubaki's voice inside his head all of Yasu's thoughts went blank for a moment and his mental defenses went into full swing. Though just as quickly he composed himself mentally with a nod while rising to his feet. Answering Kirumi's question he smiled,"If we come across something we cant handle, we adapt and overcome. We may only be gennin but the right amount of force at the right time can make all the difference. Remember even a peasant may kill a king, you just have to have faith in yourself and your team. We are meant for this, its in our blood. If we work together and watch each others backs I doubt there is anyone we dont stand at least a chance of taking care of." Turning on heel he trotted off after Choumei before breaking into a full blown run to make up the distance.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXTsubaki bit her lip at Kirumi's comment, but Choumei quickly jumped in (verbally, not using the telepathy, which the Yamanaka made note of). After her little speech, their leader recommended that the two Yamanaka girls remove their headbands and Tsubaki quit acting so confident. Exhaling a laugh, the purple-haired girl lowered her shoulders and tipped her head down a bit, going back to her usual, insecure self. Sometimes being a part of something bigger yanked her out of her shell, like when she'd gotten her headband and was finally a part of the ninjas of Konoha.
She felt her blood warm as Yasuhiro mentioned a few things before following Choumei. He said they were meant for this and were capable of making a difference. Tsubaki briefly wondered how Yasu would be as the Hokage; he certainly had motivation speeches down.
Brushing a hand through her hair and untying her band, the sensor-nin followed suit.
Choumei's words did have an effect on Kirumi, the young genin beginning to show some confidence as she tried to match the leader's sense of optimism. "You're right. Ah-I'll try not to bring everyone down so much." She said, mimicking the female's chest bump. She followed instructions how hiding their pried headbands, which Kirumi stashed on the insides of her clothing. She felt odd without having it on. A sort of feeling of incompleteness now that all of her hard work at the academy seemed to be for naught without this item to prove it. Hopefully it would only be temporary. Looking around to see the others leaving, Kirumi raced behind them, catching up with them on the way down to the residential district.
Ichiryu arrived at the sparring grounds to get some jutsu training done. with all this open space it would be perfect for the basic jutsus to know. He walked to to a tall tree until he was a few meters away. "Perfect." He focusing on his chakra to manipulate the wood of the tree; trying to construct it's stems or shape that it is in. There was a small branch that was growing that was the size of his forearm. "Guess its time to speed things up." with effortless focus, he began to increase the lenght of the branch of the tree but only for half a foot. As the wood lengthen furthur leaves bloomed. With that being done he is able to manipulate wood freely. But though it was only but a ficle of his chakra that made it extend. Ichiryu was effortlessly trying. {Moku Soujuu [ Wood Manipulation:1/5]} Now that he can manipulate the wood. It is time to go even further. He notices that there is a small tree not to far. It seems to be very healthy and it will most likely become an exquisite one as well. "lets speed things up shall we"He add a little bit of concentration to the small tree, that Ichiryu knew that the tree will become spectacular one day; he forced it's growth rate to become a slightly 'bigger' tree. With his focus, the tree's growth rate increased so drastically that it was visibly growing several inches per second. Compared from before, the tree now is doubled if not three times it's natural size before the growth that Ichiryu have done. {Moku Soujuu [ Wood Manipulation: 2/5]} Now that he there is some real results being shown and done, ichiryu can move on to something more advanced version of what he did. Ichiryu concentrated on the ground, focusing one the surface that he had stood upon. Trying to manipulate the grassy area that was around him and accelerate the growth like he did with the trees from before. With there being little to no grass because of the other students prior, pracicing their techniques, the ground has lost its grass terrain. So he'll do something about that by regrowing the grass land to its natural state.{Moku Soujuu [ Wood Manipulation: 3/5]} He was still focusing on the ground. This area was suppose to be vast in nature when training. Guess that is what happens when ninjas go over the top when training though. He focused a little harder on the area around him and denounced to him, he has literally restored the area with a large plain of beautiful fertile ground. So much so that you can only see green in this area, besides the training equipment that belongs to the village. {Moku Soujuu [ Wood Manipulation: 4/5]} His training with wood manipulation is complete and since he has done the basics with a quarter of his concentration, it is time to get real. He walked to the middle of the area where took a deep breath. What he plans to do is create a ginormous tree from the ground. That is his objective. Using what he has done this is doable, but he wants it to match his expectations and standards. He wants this tree to shadow over the building. There were cracks forming from the ground a several yards away. A large plant pushed itself out from the ground and continued growing and eventually became a large plant. But it didn't stop, it was still growing even when it passed the trees around the area. It continued even when it overshadowed few of the properties. {Moku Soujuu [ Wood Manipulation: 5/5]}
With that being done he can freely manipulate wood. Manipulating wood like a true Senju can. Now time for something simple than creating wood. He combined suiton and doton chakra in himself. Fusing those two makes wood and created a dagger like weapon made of wood coming out of his wrists. Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Cutting Technique ]
Now with something like that being done, Ichiryu thought of making a clone. But it wouldn't be a shadow clone but a wooden clone. A clone being completely identical. The wooden dagger that he made dropped to the ground and used his hand freely combining water and earth chakra to make a wooden clone. Large wood grew from the ground shaping like a human being and eventually looked like him identically. {Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [ Wood Clone Technique ]}
Now Ichiryuu then made a hand seal as he was in front of the wooden clone that he made that resembled a complete identical of himself. He mixed the chakras together to make a ring of wood around the clone that broke through the ground. The wood was sharp as it covered the entire clone with wooden sharp spikes. A technique that stops someones movements in their tracks. This would be perfect. [Wood Release: Wood Spikes Ring]
This jutsu would be very useful to stop someone in their tracks. Now for the next jutsu that he believes that would protect him in close combat. Ichiryu held his arm up and using his wood manipulation; combining water and earth chakra, a wooden shield was grown. Wood Release: Threefolded Wood Shield
A shield like this will be of great use when he is in combat. Now for the next stage of his training in wood manipulation. HE thought of something that is somewhat similar to the wood spikes ring. Ichiryu focused on the ground and then used his water and earth chakra to control the plant roots that are under him. The roots from all of would pop up from the surface spreading. Ichiryu is improving greatly on his jutsu. With having no distractions he is improving very quickly than his expectations could have foretold. Maybe learning the earlier technique was important for this one. Channeled his chakra once again, five thick tree roots emerged from the grounds. Wanting to test it, he had it moved in different places. First, they gathered around him like a shield. Then he could have it slither it's way around the ground. he could snare someone with this. {Ki Eda no Jutsu [ Tree Limb Technique ]}
Minowa glances at Itoko as the bearcat quickly scrambles up a tree with complete ease upon their arrival. The omnivore very much enjoying not being on the ground even if only briefly, so Minowa stayed nearby to help encourage his animal companionn staying comfortable but he did wonder around a bit, looking to see if there was already a loose patch of soil he could turn into mud for the girls. The Kiri-nin didn't want to use up any more energy than necessary, always ready for the worse case scenario.

Shikatsu was the second one to arrive, meaning that the girls either got lost or distracted along the way. He hadn't visited this place in quite some time, seeing as how anyone he normally trained with was gone now. Realizing he had defiantly slacked off the past few years didn't settle well with him. "I'll have to make a point to fix that" He said out loud to himself as he watched Minowa survey the area.

Shikatsu watched the young boy as he looked for, what he guessed, was a good spot to make the mud for the girls, when suddenly a flare shot up high in the sky. "That's the..."
