Kaze_no_Hibiki Lightwater2520 Fine, just wine then. What has one foot on each side and one in the middle? A yardstick? I only got that one out of sheer dumb luck, there is a ruler in my desk that I randomly fiddle with biggrin Forgive me if this has already been posted: When bright, it's dark, when darkest, it's gone. When gone for good, so are you. What am I? correct. I say shadow as well. What kind of coat can be put on only when wet?

correct. You are on a ship, over the side hangs a rope ladder with half meter rungs. The tide rises a half meter per hour. At the end of five hours, how much of the ladder will remain above the water assuming that nine rungs were above the water when the tide began to rise?

I am going to say 9. Boats rise with the tide, so no rungs would be underwater.

I agree with nine, based on the floating idea.

I'm going to say the first one, because the last one cannot be correct.

Correct. As to yours light, their autobiography.
Wooo hard riddle!
Now in this rhyme, you will find all the elements of a riddle, All the clues are buried here, somewhere in the middle. My first is in fact the last naturally to be seen, I am in part a catalyst for refining gasoline. My second is in party balloons they float up off the ground, Although Noble I give your voice a tiny squeaking sound. Equally noble is my third, I'm said to be mostly inert, I'm used in incandescent lights so the filament won't get hurt. My fourth is known as devilish stuff, of volcanoes I do smell, Although no-one's been back to report, I'm supposed to stink like hell! Finally I am used to make aeroplanes you can trust, I'm light, I'm strong, I shine like new, I never, ever rust. Put us all together, and you get what comes before, Practice makes us perfect, go over it once more. What am I?

The first one is Rhenium.
The third is Argon, not neon. The rest are the same as Symbolims's. The atomic symbol for each are Re He Ar S Al Thus the answer is a rehearsal, with I have every Monday night.
