Samurai wasn't expecting the hug, but he was all too happy to share the expression, wrapping his arms around his female companion. Once Chinami had her fill of hugging him, he'd explain. (I don't really know who it was, I didn't spend a lot of time with them. My ball kind of changed hands a lot. But I'm home again, that's all that matters.)
Only then would he change his focus to Mykel and Fernata. (Nice to meet you, Fernata. I've never been to Alola before, but maybe I can talk to my trainer about it now that he has a Psychic-type we can use as a translator. And it's good to be back home again, Mykel,) he explained, smiling at the male Gardevoir.

When Mykel arrived in HQ with everyone that he could carry with his own meager Teleport, far inferior to the team's Claydol, he collapsed onto the couch, breathing heavily. "I'm tired now..." Was all he'd say, realizing that he might have pushed himself a bit with the total number of people there.
Lykas carried Tristen over to the unoccupied couch and laid him out on it for the moment so he could recover a bit more and then turned to Terashi. "That's the Shadowfied Avalugg I snagged when we first got to Coumarine city. It's ugly and it's energy makes me physically sick but it also feels strong and it should make a big impact on your team's overall strength if you're willing to put in the time it takes to purify it." He explained to the blond. "I added a Legend to my own roster in it's place." He explained, flashing the Master Ball once more.
Wren, still reeling a bit from everything that had happened, would respond to Terashi without realizing that he had moved. "That woman?" He started, referring to Zera. "She was one of the people who were working with the people who invaded Virbank, right? The ones who most likely claimed Driftveil while no one was protecting Unova?" He continued, his fists shaking as his bare feet took in the feeling of the cold, hard floor of Snagem HQ. "I would do anything I could to stop them from taking my home whether I was with your team or not." He stated, closing his eyes and trying to fight back the rage burning in his soul at that moment. "Those people are all willing to hurt innocent people and what end?!" He demanded, unsure if anyone had an answer. Whatever it was, though, it wasn't going to be good enough. Innocent lives were being threatened and the natural balance of the world was being thrown out of order by whatever those Pokemon they'd been fighting were.

Tristen would be in the med lab, though a lot more at ease in his rest than he was back face first on the ground back in Kalos. The Heal Pulse stabilized the kid, but wasn't enough at the moment to pull him back to consciousness. It probably could have eventually woke him up if they had the time, but with being pulled out via teleport among various Pokemon His Magmar stood by the boy's bed side, waiting patiently. Patience would finally pay off, as Tristen sprung up, sitting up, with a look of shock on his face. "ZERA!" Tristen shouted, making Magmar jump out of shock.
The boy looked around, noticing it was the med lab, his breathing started to normalize as he was calming down, knowing he was somewhere safe.
"Well, I see you finally coming around."
Tristen looked over, seeing Doc Owl at a nearby counter. Suddenly a bit of a realization started to creep up on the boy. "...did...did we lose?" Tristen said.
"I don't know. There has been talking around; seemed like a lot happened out there." Doc told the boy. Tristen thought back to those last moments that he could recall; at one point, pitying Zera and ready to go home, but next realizing that she not only cheated death, but pulled one over on him, followed by a blank. Tristen couldn't help but to feel totally crushed. While he had the moral personal dilemma at the at the time of a justified killing, it was a worse feeling knowing that despite him actually, for better or worse, committing himself to end Zera, doing everything he possibly could to ensure she was not going to leave by any means and even going as far as setting her ablaze using Zera's own toxic, flammable substance that was quickly going to burn her inside and out and wouldn't be put out that easily, it wasn't enough. And to top it all off, he's the one who pays the price for it near instantly.
Tristen teared up a bit, curled up and buried his face into his knees that was still covered up with a bed sheet. There was a lot to sort through in this kid's mind...

Sub was currently in the common room, sitting in an armchair with his Murkrow, Nevermore, sitting in his lap. Not your typical lap pet but it didn't matter to him, he enjoyed just sitting around, cuddled up with his favorite bird, though Darkrai forbid you tell Pallas, his Mandibuzz, that Nevermore was his favorite bird. Regardless the Snagem leader appeared to be waiting for something, or someone. His eyes kept darting toward the front door, the sliding doors never parting however. Every now and then he would pull out his SNAG to check the time, stuffing it back into his pocket right after each time. What was he waiting for?

Cecile Silverstone The trio then were in front some sliding doors as Ulla sighed in anxiousness. "Alright you guys, our Pokemon adventure begins." All of them stepped as the sliding doors opened. Riolu tightened his grip on Ulla's hand as they were standing infront of the Snagem leader. Ulla straitened her back and stood tall to make her seem more mature. But, looked totally nervous. "U-Uhm....H-Hello sir. My name is Ulla Hanabi. And these are my partners Riolu, and Rowlett. I'm 10 years old, we just started our Pokemon adventure."
As the young girl entered Sub could do little but stare in disbelief. This was the new member he had been waiting on? She was so young, did she know what she was getting into with joining up with a group of mercenaries? Sure, they had Leslie and Tristen here but this one looked just a bit younger than both of them, and they were hybrids on top of it. That was when he took notice of the Riolu. Something was wrong with it. It would then dawn on him why she sought them out.
"Hello, Ulla." Sub said with a smile as he helped Nevermore up off his lap and onto his shoulder. "I'm Sub, the leader of this humble establishment. This is Nevermore, say hello girl." He said as he gestured to the Murkrow on his shoulder.
"Nevermore!" Cawed the bird, fluttering her wings slightly.
"I have to say, you did well to find us in such a treacherous mountain range. The fact that you made it speaks volumes concerning the bonds you share with your Pokemon and your own tenacity. Tell me, what made you wish to join Team Snagem?" He asked her, thought he knew at least one reason why. |

Ulla calmed out a little bit as Sub smiled. Riolu loosened his grip on her hand a little, as he was able to read Sub's aura. He looked to her and nodded to notify that he was good. Rowlett chirped as the Murkrow cawed. "Thank you sir. And uhm..." She cleared her throat as she choked a little bit as she was about to say why she wanted to join. She looked around a little nervous, then back to him.
"The reason....Well. I'm from Iki Town from the Alolan region. Some strange men came town not to long ago. My partner Riolu...he was changed. Ulla put her head down, as she tightened her grip on Riolu. "R-Riolu...he's always been protective of me. We met when we were 8. He's very sweet, caring, but he doesn't smile. He's like a knight. But....some strange men. Came to our town and attacked my team, right before I turned 10. Y-You see sir...He's been changed to a Shadow Pokemon.
Ulla held back tears as Riolu just starred at her blankly. "He's only with me now sir, is because he's remembered me and Rowlett after he was taken from me. That's the only thing that's having him hang on from going wild. There have been times where he lost control, and he was only able to come back to his senses because I called to him. I am here to join Team Snagem, to make sure. This. Never happens to any other trainers Pokemon. And to open Riolu's heart again, right now he doesn't really express much. But I know, right now he's scared of himself. He wants to be himself again sir." Ulla held the necklace she was wearing close to her heart. Riolu looked at Ulla as he noticed she was holding her necklace tightly, he looked down at his matching necklace and just blankly starred at it. |

"That's where we come in!" A voice called out from the hallway. A Lilipup hybrid scampers in, followed by three canine like pokemon. The young boy stumbles over his feet and falls right in front of the newcomer and the group leader, his pokemon stacking on top of him in a pile of fur and paws.
Gray eyes look up at the sad face, and he offers her a warm smile. "It's gonna be okay, really. You're here now, and its a safe place! I know theres another girl here who had a friend of hers be a Shadow Pokemon too, and this guy--" He points exaggeratedly to Sub from under his Pokemon--"He helped her too! We can get your friend back, no worries! Okay, guys, everyone off now!"
The Eevee and Glaceon slipped off him easily enough, but the Zorua was stubborn and sat on his shoulder as best as she could, staring pointedly at the Riolu.
"I'm Zwei, by the way! Nice 'ta meet ya!" The Hybrid said, getting to his feet and holding out a hand.

As Sub listened to Ulla he kept a close eye on the Riolu, examining it from it a distance. He clocked it for a Shadow Pokemon the moment he laid eyes on it but he still had to ask, it was important that the girl knew exactly what happened to her Pokemon and the risk it presents. "I see." He said, recalling Nevermore to her ball before standing up.
"It would seem its Shadowfication is still in the early stages, explains why it is still able to hold onto some semblance of sanity. I must warn you that the longer it remains a Shadow Pokemon the more aggressive it will get. Even its fondest memories of you won't be enough to complete stave off the Shadow energy swelling within it. That said you are in luck, you came to the right place just in time, before the Shadowfication could completely take hold." He reassured the girl. He was thankful he equipped the entire building with an Immunizer, he would have to explain the primary risks of Shadow Pokemon to her later but for now he saw no harm.
That's when Zwei showed up. "Zwei, where have you...never mind. This young lady's name is Ulla, Zwei. I would ask you to give her a warm welcome but you already have begun to to do so." He said with a smile. |

Cecile Silverstone Ulla raised her head as she was taken back a bit of a Lilypup hybrid and three other pokemon following behind. "A-A human...Lilypup? She looked very confused but Sub reassured her that everything was going to be okay. "Y-Yes sir! I'm well aware of the aggressiveness he can be the longer he is in this state of mind. Ulla showed Sub her palm of her right hand as it was bruised. "While we were heading up here. He lost control when we were attacked by a few wild Pokemon. But I'm fine. I just want my best friend back." Riolu and Rowlett looked at Zwei as they both nodded. Rowlett flew off of Ulla's head and then plopped on Zwei's head. "Sir, if you don't mind me asking. Where do I start from here? Will we be going on missions or something?"
"Ulla is such a pretty name!" The boy giggles as she looks very much confused, nodding his head. "Yep! I'm what you call a Hybrid--And you're so right! I am a Lilipup hybrid! My friends a Pachirisu Hybrid named Rhyme. She's pink! I came here to go on adventures." He salutes Sub with a small bark, nodding his head. The Zorua is the only one that remains out of the pokeballs, the boy recalling the other two. "We do go on missions! Sometimes they are scary, but when you go on missions you spend time with your Pokemon! And I know with Rhyme, the more time she spent with her Shadow Pokemon the better he got!"
Ears flick as the Rowlett settled itself on his head, temporarily distracted by the weight of the bird. "Hi to you too! I'm Zwei! What's your name, little fella?"
He couldn't understand the Pokemon, but...hey, it helped to be polite, right?
Speaking of Pachirisu hybrids, she'd come in with the egg in her arms, gently petting its shell to help it calm her. By her side, a Treecko walked, minding its own business. |

Sub would look at the bruise on the girl's palm, frowning just slightly as he stared at it. It was such a shame a girl this young had to go through this but it was inevitable, Ein made sure that people of all ages and walks of life would be faced with his Shadow Pokemon plague. One day he'll pay for this. "Yes, to reiterate what Zwei said we do go on missions, and you will too." He affirmed.
That's when Rhyme showed up, Sub waving her on over. "Might as well get you accustomed to hybrids." He said to Ulla as Rhyme approached. "This is Rhyme, another member of ours. As you might note she is a hybrid as well. Don't worry though, I'm not the only human here besides yourself." Sub said with a chuckle and lightly nudged Ulla playfully.
"I got an idea. Rhyme, Zwei, why don't we show Ulla around HQ? Get her accustomed to the place. I feel like that's the best place to start. Then we can see about assigning you a task. Maybe our more veteran member here, Rhyme, could partner with you. But for now let's show you to your room and go from there." He said, walking off towards the stairs. |
