What was Zahara up to in all these past few days since the little excursion out in the ruins? The young genin had been a bit awol over a short period of time but the trademark boom shook the floor of where he been training specifically. In a small dojo space away from most of the other students, Zahara was at work with his volatile chakra, going through rigorous forms and straining attacks that pushed him both physically and spiritually with his chakra flow. [1] With slow manuevers of the upper body, he practiced the motions of the body and still tried to maintain his chakra control for a means to use attacks without seals. Unstable as the method was, it wasn't just up to snuff just yet but he continue with his motions and pressed both palms to the ground. [2] At first nothing had happened, a bit of a sizzle and spark of light as the ground he struck acted like he had tickled it. Soon however the floor lit up with a bright haze of chakra and the floor belched up pieces of tatami and even part of the infrasturcture. Explosion chakra blasted outward from the floor as the technique was complete, a weaker form of the next ideal technique. [3] - Rising Blast
Now Zahara sat down and went into an almost meditative state as he reflected on the use of the chakra just then, weak and unstable but it was one thing at least. That was it been more... efficient, more controlled than his earlier incarnations of the element that he'd been training for some time. It still needed more refinement however and this was not going to cut it further. No, Zahara needed to bring forth some more effort in order for his elemental mastery to truly shine, he held four of the five basic elements in addition to his own powerful blast element and so the struggle of balancing all five was a bit dauting. [1] The blast element wasn't anything but volatile, with one wrong ratio of the chakra molded for the techniques would spell the end even for him. That was... the element was as much of a danger to himself as it were for others, just pure and raw elemental energy that'd rip apart one of his foes. But as crude as he put it in the back of his mind, he had to rely on his own body as opposed to the clay the other users of the bloodline used -- they were... odd to say the least. [2] Zahara didn't really fancy the idea of having tongues flailing from his palms or needing to rely on a longer ranged attack just to make something bad go pop. Instead, his skin was the focus of the chakra that went boom and it was far less likely to meet the weakness of... well, pretty much most elemental encounters. The chakra wasn't really earth or anything solid or even metaphysical - it was pure, raw release of energy and that's what made it spectacular. [3] Zahara's eyes flicked open then as he took in a long breath of air, crater before him still fresh and sizzling with the heat from the explosion that uprooted part of the floor. He felt a pang of pride at this display, but at the same time he knew it was hapzarrd and even reckless. It was small, and very unfocused as the blast didn't break up the floor evenly, the energy that dispersed was stronger in certain areas and weaker in most. [4] At a closer look, even the focal point had been off center from where he planted his palms and ejected the chakra. With the small little details in mind, Zahara rose to his feet and rubbed both hands together and figured he'd get on with the next part of the bloodline. It was a bit stronger than the Rising Blast, but a bit slower to pull off. So he slapped his hands to the ground again and released chakra this time all around him. With it completely surrounding the small dojo room... the floor gave a hue of red and before Zahara knew it, the entire room was caught into the resulting blast. [5] - Radius Blast
A persistent ringing drowned the sounds of... well, everything. Zahara stood there in the midst of smoke and debris, small little fires sizzled burnt edges of Tatami and wall paper. He couldn't help but chuckle now, looking at his own jacket that was covered in scorch marks and the room was practically reduced to a spherical crater and some burns extending beyond where... the room had originally been. [1] It wasn't so much a room as it been privacy screens in the corner of the main hall. Now those were gone and the two main walls the met at the corner were marred with indents and black soot. It completely engulfed the floor he meant to inject the chakra into, now leaving a perfect indentation in the hall's floor -- guess he would need to pay for the damages later. [2] Nevertheless, the display was a lot better than he expected, Zahara taking a few steps away as he dug a single finger in his ear. It still rung, but slowly got better even if it were a bit annoying while he walked off from the explosion site. Note to self, he would need to tone it down just a tad bit more, just a smaller focus of the chakra to avoid blasting eardrums -- but that gave an idea for... Zahara smiled. He would need to pursue that later. [3] So he had to take a small step back and localize the explosion jutsu, for that he looked at his hands and thought of the principles of the Landmine Palm, and the oh so coveted Landmine Taijutsu. Rather than creating one... or two blasts, why not control the amount to smaller amounts? The effort would be a bit more straining for the control but the effect would be deadly if he would grab someone, like say by the throat. So, Zahara started dusting himself to keep up the ol' grand facade of 'don't worry about it, just a backfire' as he staggered slightly out from the little crater. [4] Zahara found the nearest dummy close by, a sack-man with a bulls eye painted on the head and chest for projectile practice. Not wasting anytime, he imitated a strangulation on a person as he clasped both of his hands around the dummy's neck. With a surge of chakra, he used the explosion release and inbetween the vice-grip of is hands, the neck exploded three times from his hands and it rolled off with a slight slump. [5] - Explosive Grip

Shadow Clones. He held the scroll before him and peered at the peculiar writing scrawled in old flowing writing, faded and almost ancient by today's standards. He sat at the desk in the library, having decided to dedicate some time to the scroll and book after the little... stunt back down in the Dojo. He made sure no one was hurt afterall but the explosion release almost got him kicked out -- and that's why he had preferred the ruins. But now he sat there and looked longingly at this scroll, it was an unusual technique that one of the instructors recommended. [1]
After some debate as to why he should learn it, he asked this instructor for a demonstration as to why he should use shadow clones. Course, Zahara knew the practicality of utilizing doppelgangers to confuse a would be opponent. Instead he wanted a senior shinobi's input on the use of the clone technique, one being in that it could combine the use of pack tactics with just one person. Sort ranged recon was also possible and the fact that this particular jutsu retained knowledge when they are defeated. Feeling a bit unsure if your approach is the right one? So now he remained convinced but he remained skeptical either way, the shadows would be requiring equal division of his chakra and even physical energy. Was it really worth splitting yourself into weaker individuals just for an extra body or two? It was a question that didn't really have an answer, no rhyme or reason to why he asked himself this when the pros far outweighed the cons for the Doppelgangers. Besides, it was the only way he could probably unleash a grand symphony of explosions for the coveted Jirai-Taijutsu, Landmine Body Techniques. [3]
He undid the binding that held the scroll closed, clicking the little buckle of its leather strap and soon it rolled open on the little desk Zahara sat at. There lay within its parchment even more scrawled orient script of different seals, diagrams and the ratios of the chakra usage typical for the doppelgangers. Zahara took a deep breath and looked over at the technique so he knew what he was getting into. It was simple for the most part, it was a chakra and physical energy division with simple constructs of chakra, much like the original Clone Technique but... much more advanced than he originally thought. It called for a complete division that would allow a separate entity with intelligence to roam and fight on his behalf. It was a technique that didn't just make a clone to take a blow, but that would be able to even use his bloodline - a true doppelganger. He chucked slightly as he began to memorize the jutsu even more, looks like the instructor was definately right, it was worth it. So maybe one day he would use it, but thing was Zahara still deemed the technique quite costly. [5] Kage Bunshin Learned. ~ Read Method.
He walked into the Dojo, still wearing his doctor's lab coat oddly. His black boots collided loudly with the polished wood floor as he made his way across the area to the white haired male training on the other side. He had been informed the physical description of the man he was looking for, and hoped this was him. Stopping a few meters away, he placed a hand on his hip "Are you Kaneo?" He asked "Mizuki sent me to find you"

___Kaneo rolled up his scroll just in time to see Cason plant his hand on his hip. His eyebrow arched slightly as he waited for an inquiry that would come shortly. "The one and only. What does Mizuki need?" He asked casually. Nothing seemed terribly urgent, so he figured his friend had perhaps gotten orders or needed some of his attention before their missions kicked off in earnest. He hoped it was the latter, but gave his squadmate a chance to complete his task uninterrupted.

___"Well, you know my name and you've introduced yourself, so consider my part of that mission complete." Kaneo said with a coy smile as he flipped the scroll in the air and caught it again before setting it down on the table next to him. "I have seen Axel around, but he shouldn't be hard to find. Red hair like you. Kinda sticks out, no offense." Normally he'd be flirting up a storm, but absent Mizuki and any real information, the man thought better of it. Best not to dig a hole to fall in right at introduction. "If you need anything, I'm game. We can practice some combos, or whatever it is you need, not sure what it is you do actually, now that I think about it. I play with sharp things and make people see stuff." Kaneo said, the golden oroboros of his eyes trailing down to the knife and sword on his hip as he patted them, before training curiously back on Cason.

Cason laughed, chuckling at both Kaneo's enthusiasm and suggestion as well as the dig at his hair "I'm not exactly a fighter...more of a healer myself. But I think people are going to need more of that when the village mobilizes."

Unki arrived to the school from the plaza. She had a lot on her mind and such as threatening to become 'unbearable' for the time: worries of Aya and her family, the lack of letters, the possible threat that could be knocking at the town's door. She had to train for them: for Ujitoki, Iemitsu, Udo, Umeko, Yuko, Masanaga, and all of Aya.
So with her work done, for now, Unki found it wise to spend more time to sharpen her skills. To art of sharpening her hand to hand and dodging skills were first to come to mind. To accomplish this feat, Unki knew that she would need another partner with sufficient skill to measure herself up against for optimum results. Challenge greatness to achieve greatness was the mindset, at least. [1 / 7]
The first “strongest” looking character Unki could find would be politely pressed into being her opponent with a resilient bow and the right, subtle, amount of glittery doll eyes onto. In fact, the strongest looking character Unki found was a sturdy and lean looking black-haired girl who looked like she could effectively punch-out an incoming angry Ox. Unki faced this back-haired girl with her head held high and a confident inquiry. ”You seem very agile. Would you care to go for a round?” ‘A round’ was shortly explained by Unki as a round of hand to hand action. [2 /7]
The dark haired girl agreed and waved Unki to follow to the open space of her choosing; it was fair, after all that, ‘the offered’ party picks the field of play. The area of combat was found outside in a groomed training yard, in a spot where the grasses receded after months of activity and only a heavy clay and rocks remained. The two girls bowed to one another before taking a stance. The dark-haired girl was granted the first move: a jab toward Unki’s shoulder. [3 /7]
As anticipated (or expected) Unki stepped aside to dodge this first move. Immediately, she raised her arms and took mind to adapt. The fighter she picked was a heavy fist oriented fighter, unknown to Unki. It was also fairly unknown to Unki that her opponent would take advantage of Unki’s dodge, take aim, and have her fist follow through with a feigned punch to Unki’s head. [4 /7]
In attempts to fight back, Unki followed with her own feigned strike to the girl’s elbow to knock away the incoming limb to some degree. The dark-haired girl was taking offensive and Unki would be forced to take defensive. The girl threw a second feigned hit toward the head and Unki began to try to back out of range. The girl persists and goes to begin a third feigned strike to Unki’s head, however, the chunin raised her arm high enough to produce a block and derail the hit. Consequently, Unki left an opening that her dark-haired opponent took advantage of. [5 /7]
After her third hit was thwarted, the quick witted girl took a step forward, and went for a strike to Unki’s shoulder. The chunin would have to be quick. Unki dunked, dodged, and side-stepped to level herself next the girl’s outstretched arm. From below, Unki would try an attack that was staged like an uppercut. She would strike the top of her arm to the bottom of the opponent’s arm as an attempt to “throw off”. It almost felt outlandish but it was the thing Unki wanted to do. [6/ 7]
After, Unki quickly assumed an ordinary degree of posture and turned her knocking away the girl’s arm with her left arm into grabbing it with her opposite, right hand. Unki stopped as the girl stopped. Both reached a point of uncertainty of what the other was doing exactly. Ultimately, the chunin released the dark-haired girl’s arm and hopped back. Just in case. Weapon Formless A-rank Training (7 posts while in academy) ”How about this instead, huh?” Unki’s mouth curled into a grin as she began to dig for a pair of kunai. She extended her arm and offered a blade to the dark-haired girl, who found herself sneering as she accepted the knife. There was still more fun to be had in this brief encounter the girls are sharing. Unki held her knife in one hand with the bladed side above her thumb and forefinger. Her dark-haired opponent held the other knife in reserve. [1 /7]
The act of training with a sword wasn’t as enticing as it could be alone, with a straw training dummy, so having someone to sort and learn with was far more inviting idea. The girls tapped knives together before each took a step back. Unki foresaw a rapid pace that could catch up to more than feigned “hits”. The “dance” of knife play started out with a rhythmic pattern of trying to mimic the others swings: upward, downward, left diagonal, and so on into an eventual pattern that the dark-haired girl had no problem trying to change up at random. A change in the pattern dance was what Unki wanted. The expected and the unexpected, hand in hand, trying to keep up with the other. Then Unki stepped back, changed hands in a dramatic method in the likeness of one of those knife tricks she learned. Her opponent, however, didn’t seem taken back by the special trick or she was just very good at not looking alarmed in the slightest. [3/ 7]
For a moment, Unki imagined herself in an earlier sword session with the straw contender training dummy. She remembered a few of the maneuvers to try. The first thought was to try sidestepping, fluidly enough that her feet won’t mess up her sword swingings. One, two, step right, one, two step right.Extra movements were undoubtedly shaking things up. [4/ 7]
A different moveset was added. Upward slash, downward slash, repeat, a single horizontal slash, and a diagonal slash in the upwards direction. A succession of steps follows. The dark haired girl even added a twirl in one of her steps. They were beginning to have fun with sword fighting. [5 /7]
Unki mimicked her twirl but accidentally mis-stepped and nearly caused an accident with a sword swing on the dark-haired girl’s part. If the timing had been off just right, Unki would have had plenty of room for a earring in her right earlobe. Unki was more capable of catching herself than she thought. The dark-haired girl paused briefly to allow Unki to recover and became aware of how in a real fight that mistake would go unforgiven. [6 /7]
The duo slashed, swung, stepped, and twirled to their hearts content so long as the other didn’t get hurt. Too much. The sound of metal sliding against metal and clanking with touch could have seemingly gone on forever with the energy the girls had. A last minute change in the dark-haired girl’s pattern was caught by Unki who changed to accommodate for a final thwarting maneuver. The chunin had applied enough force in her upward swing to clash into the girl’s incoming horizontal move that Unki knocked her opponent’s blade of course. Knocking the girl’s arm into the air, Unki pointed and led her knife to follow and eventually knock the knife out of the girl’s hand. [7 /7] Weapon Formless A-rank Training (7 posts while in academy)
Thus was the end of this spar. They laughed off how tense that spar was becoming and how unexpected Unki came up to unarm. The dark-haired girl turned to retrieve the knife and handed it back to Unki, who was first to offer thanks for the practice. Unki pleasure was plain as day on her face. She had fun and was absolute to properly thank the dark-haired girl for her help. She accepted the knife and returned the pair before waving a temporary goodbye to her helper.
It was time to retire her physical activates for now and turn to study ninjutsu. She knew where to start too... Kaifu. Funyu. Unki re-entered the building to seek out the learning material, a spare scroll for study, and borrow a brush and ink. A table located near the Fuuin information was becoming her new spot for the time being...
From the text was listed the instruction to create a form of sealing. Other than taking the time to duplicate the shapes, swirls, and squiggles which make up the seal, there wasn't a better way to learn the process. Unki borrowed a nearby brush, ink , and allowed her eyes to follow the curves and swirls to print themselves in her memory. Her hand began to gradually follow the components of the seal onto the surface of a blank scroll. With an understanding of the basics of Kaifū no Jutsu, Unki could take advantage of hauling about a number of extra goodies. {1/1 Rank E; Kaifū no Jutsu | Unsealing Technique }
Likewise, study of Kaifū no Jutsu's "sister" technique followed on a with the borrowed brush and ink. Fūnyū is apart of Kaifū and essential to fully grasp the know-how to produce seals for storing specific items or ninjutsu. Upon the same scroll, Unki would meticulously replicate a segment below the previous markings for the makeup of Fūnyū. For a successful grasp of the workings of the seal Unki was careful to follow the instructions through and through. The two seals, on the scroll's surface, would make one uniform shape with an empty space reserved for future items. Now, this useful seal was apart of her metaphorical toolbox of knowledge. To further her understanding of these techniques, Unki started with molding her skills in Kaifu through more repeated meticulous squiggles. Off and on, the girl would glance at the borrowed text she was referring from to read about the technique. The text was very inspiring. [1-3 D-rank; Kaifū]
Kaifū has a certain usefulness that would benefit weapon heavy fighters, battle physicians, botanists collecting herbs, and general storage. Advanced forms of could be used to carry numerous weapons to fire at the enemy, large weapons too cumbersome to wander around with, and turn ordinary paper into something with the likeness of a water bottle. A collaboration of ink and paper to serve as a suitcase [2-3]
Unki imagined, the more she read into this skill, that fuuin would become more elaborate the larger or more advanced they became. More costly to produce, maybe? Kaifu counterpart, Funyu, is again the sister technique: the sister of limitless sealing wonders. It was wise for Unki to take note that through using Funyu that she wouldn’t have to physically touch whatever she’s trying to collect. While she could make the foolhardy attempt to touch a wild blaze burning up something important there was always the option to using a piece of paper, a brush, and the appropriate set of seals. Seals, madly written down as fast as any person adept with the otherworldly energy force could write. The funyu seal is supposed to create a vacuum to collect said hypothetical fire. Unki paused to reflect on the thought how this might be able to be used on a person. Would it harm the person? Unki still carried on with her meticulous drawing. She wasn’t an artist, really, so this was a feat to study. [2 / 3]
Her scroll was going to need to be clipped at some point with all the funyu and kaifu markings she was making. There wasn’t a need to apply her chakra. Yet. In the meantime, Unki could happily spend her time trying the appropriate calligraphy-looking images and quietly squeak a swear over her indelible mistakes. [3/ 3] D-rank Funyu Learned
Focus went back to Kaifu. Unki then paused to see that her squiggles and lines delineating the two were beginning to look alike. Writing out the correct fuuin sequences was proving itself to be a stressful task when one isn’t certain as to it is they’re doing.[1] - C-rank Kaifu {3 posts typically required after reductions: 2 spent via free training posts}
Her the surface of this roll of paper was going to eventually be stained black with ink at this rate. There were mistakes and replications of correct lines to exclude her errors. It was an artistic mess that someone somewhere could want to hang up as artwork, probably. I wonder if I’ll have to sign in like artists supposedly do? I can i remain anonymous? Unki set down her brush to unravel a little more of the scroll. Practice makes perfect, right? She dipped the brush back into the ink and allowed some of the liquid medium to drip this time after too many accidental drippy marks on her paper. She might have to burn this scrap paper when it’s all over. She began to repeat an example of Kaifu, one that was slightly more advanced than the last. [1/ 5] B-rank Kaifu
Another thought crossed her mind. A thought about the extended uses of kaifu at this higher level of power. Kaifu was about bringing materials in the world, Funyu was about taking and storing materials. At this higher rank of B, Kaifu was capable of unleashing false buildings, immense gates with menacing faces, and surely anything else of that caliber. [2/ 5]
The question was just…. what? What could Unki release into the world? A strong gust of wind captured by her funyu-scribbling skills sourced from the mountain tops? She could design a fuuin to unleash wooden pillar designed to catch fire with carvings of angry mermaids on it, maybe. Again, the possibilities were nearly limitless here. By now, Unki had spent approximately six feet of this single roll of paper trying to figure out the workings of the combination of Kaifu and Funyu. Her attention switched back to funyu that by now began to feel like a familiar acquaintance she wanted to paint goofy mustaches all over. This advanced form of funyu would allow her to absorb greater amounts of...whatever she wanted! [1/ 5] - B rank Funyu If she wanted to, yes, Unki could use a scroll to suck in someone’s furious blast of wind given that her timing isn’t poor. Her skills of writing out scrolls would need to be refined as well. With each curve, jagged, and lazy looking letters her penmanship was improving alongside her familiarity with the seal. [2/ 5]
She raised her brow at the thought of sealing up one of her desert suns, just for giggles. The power was about equal to the fuuins she was trying very much to learn. Ah, another undesired ink blot. Another accidental drip meant another rewrite and study of the funyu seal. This process was becoming a battle all in itself. A battle that would finalize with her skills of masterfully sealing up elements, weapons, and her unlucky enemies into a piece of paper. [3/ 5]

She didn’t want to accidentally seal up her brush and ink. She set the brush down away from her scroll and finally took a good look at her seven foot collection of ink. It was painful to look at the funyu-kaifu mess but she dearly wanted to try to savor her efforts for a time. After a good solid 45-seconds she damn near went to start tearing it up. But stopped to examine the finer details and the evolution of her first set, her errors, corrections, and final set of works. She tore the used paper off the scroll free and held off from choosing to tare up her work.

Almost as if calling his name would have been to use a summoning jutsu, Axel walked into the area where Kaneo and Cason were. Looking at Cason was almost like looking at himself in the mirror, jeez. He couldn’t help but stare at him. After a minute or so, he cleared his throat and spoke. “As Kaneo said, my name is Axel,” he paused and crossed his arms. “I double down on the stabbing people part. From up close, or from far away.” His mouth cracked into a smile, his arms uncrossed and he stepped away from both of them. “If there’s anything I can do to help, just let me know. I’m going to get some more training done. Scrolls aren’t that easy to come by when you’re not in the village, so training wasn’t something I had been doing for the last year. If you excuse me.” With that explanation, Axel excused himself from the duo and stepped into the same private room he had been before. The mess he had made was still there and decided to make the most out of it. First, he focused his chakra to turn the metal arrowheads, the training polearm and the Iron Sand remains of his Satetsu clone into Iron Sand and then stored the sand within his pendant, getting around fifteen pounds of Iron Sand stored within it.
With his initial cleanup out of the way, Axel went through some hand signs, converted metal in the area around into Iron Sand and formed a clone. He followed that action by drawing from his pendant, Iron Lord, two steady streams of Iron Sand which quickly formed into two short swords, holding one in each hand; the clone instantly went for him. He dipped both of his swords, aligning them to hip level, his knees then bent, and as the clone came to strike, he sidestepped. From there, he shifted his body to face the clone once again. The clone was him, so he knew that it would be coming back for more. Once again, he slightly bent his knees and aligned one of his swords to aim at the clone’s head; it quickly turned around and went to punch Axel, but he would have none of it; the redhead moved his sword to strike the side of the clone’s right arm with its side, pushing the clone’s attack away from him. He took a step back, away from the clone to get some space between them. He rose his swords, getting ready, and then lunged forward, striking at the clone while moving his feet from one side to the other, shifting quickly from right to left, first being right in front of the clone, then on his left side, then back in front of him, then behind. He wasn’t out speeding the clone outright, instead he was outmaneuvering him, using independently moving his legs as he struck the clone, staying one step ahead of it, literally. The clone wouldn’t have it though. He broke through Axel’s flurry of attacks and launched a fist right at him. The young warrior responded by tossing his left blade into the sky and shoving the blade on his right hand into the fist flat-side-first, placing his left hand on the back part of the blade, using all his strength to counteract the clone’s attack; upon making contact, the clone was knocked back, away from Axel, about three feet. With the clone knocked back, Axel was now on the attack. But first he waited for his sword to drop. Once his second sword came down, he grabbed it and ran forward at the clone; once he was close enough, Axel put his right foot forward and brought his right arm down, quickly unleashing an upward slash, which the clone easily blocked with its forearm- following this, Axel brought his left hand down, catching the unexpected clone in the shoulder. With that attack landing, Axel brought his body close to the ground and then jumped like a spring. He spun both blades in his hands and then quickly came down. As he descended, he brought both swords, doing a vertical slash. The clone stepped back and avoided the attack. Axel responded this dodge by stepping toward the clone upon hitting the ground and extending his right arm out. He followed this motion with another step forward; Axel brought his right arm toward the clone in an upward, vertical, slash, but suddenly, he dropped his body low, curving the attack, aiming for the clones’ legs; this motion gave his attack the shape of an ‘s’, from which it took its name.

Lightning was an essential element for those that wanted to create offensive techniques. it was quick and been able to pierce through a majority of earth and defensive forms. Naturally, it was one of Zahara's primary elements alongside the Blast elemental nature. [1] Firstly in his list of electrical tools was practically the staple technique of lightning that been reminiscent of thunder storms. With a flick of a few hand seals, the ninja focusing their chakra in the hands shortly afterward. From there, a bolt of electricity can be emitted and shot at a foe or object to zap them with its static shock. [2] ~Rakurai no Jutsu [ Lightning Bolt Technique ]
Fire. Fire was the nature of the beast, the warmth and fury that embodied him as his self proclaimed title. The Dragon of the Cloud, but he was only but a runt and this was the path to greatness. So what did he have to do to claim his title as a solid settlement? [1] A good start would have to be to actually have techniques that vaguely resembled as such, fire. It all came back to fire and fire was one of his main elemental natures. The fury of the flame that fueled both his rage and the mighty explosions of the Bakuton element. [2] Through the scrolls, Zahara peered over it parchment contents as he kept a steady eye with intent study. The dragon fire technique was a simple one, breath in with molding chakra and then, breath out. It looked good on paper, and had additional use with steel wire and other similar tools. But the art of ninjutsu for Zahara wasn't all just Fire and Lightning, he had exhibited the use of both Earth and the Water elements as well, though more geared toward the earthy arts all due to his particular bloodline. He was a user of the Earth element as he took hold of a scroll, beige in color, and looked over random techniques. Here in the first academy level list of techniques were a plethora of different jutsu that held all sorts of practical uses for him. One had been the following, Earth Military movement allowed the shinobi to dive into the earth and 'swim' through it like it was nothing. He continued his lessons into the basics of Earth ninjutsu as he peered over a few more jutsu that had a lot of use, especially for one forced into the close range as he was. With that on the mind, Zahara looked at the specific "swift earth" technique that did what he was looking for. Pouring chakra into the ground at variable amounts, the shinobi can push and move the earth like a giant conveyor belt which might be useful for creating distance. Simple, yet practical. To see around corners when some stealth was required was always an annoying requirement when the shinobi would need to have some sensory capabilities. The Third Eye can circumvent a few ways with that at least, sacrificing temporary use of a single eye. Once this was done, the scroll detailed that the shinobi can create an eye out of dust and sand that would be able to perceive the environment as if they were seeing with their own eye(s). Moving away from the academic levels of earth ninjutsu as the few there didn't have much more use to Zahara. Instead, he wanted to look into methods of control and ways to alter the terrain to his advantage. And luckily there was a jutsu just a single step above academy but remained a bit useful for what he wanted to achieve. [1] The mud moat technique, another series of simplistic techniques that'd prove invaluable for close range combat or even mid-range combat for foes that had to close the distance. With the necessary preparation, the ninja would just need to send chakra into the earth. ___Kaneo smirked as Axel showed up and he plopped himself down on the floor to meditate. The process was simple, so much so that he felt comfortable carrying on with other things at the same time. He began with hangsigns.[ 1 / 5 ] Unlike one might think, meditation as a shinobi didn't necessarily mean closing one's eyes and centering yourself. Instead it focused more on recognizing and manipulating chakra. In this case, Kaneo simply moved it about his body. Not exciting, or flashy, but it was a great way to warm up.[ 2 / 5 ]"So, Axel, how'd you get stuck in someone else's squad. You don't strike me as someone who is as green around the gills as Cason or myself." As he spoke, the man moved chakra to his arms. There it swirled about his limbs like wind, but not quite fuuton.[ 3 / 5 ] Actually, despite the connotations of meditation, the genin found this particular process quite stimulating. Splitting his attention was actually a good thing, because it allowed him to feel for his chakra through a distracting element. Build and draw upon it with less thought.[ 4 / 5 ] His first session came to an end and the Mugen breathed deep, listening for an answer to his question. It served a purpose though, as he also let the built chakra he'd gather slip away. His attention turned momentarily to Cason as he added another distraction. The Kinmukugan's split sight was hard to stomach at first, and it couldn't hurt to train in it even now that he'd passed that up. "So, Cason, how do you feel about all this UHV stuff?"[ 1 / 5 ] Kaneo drew his katana carefully and set it across his lap before continuing. "Personally, I'm not sure how to feel. Mizuki seems quite fired up, but I can't help but wonder why it's starting so suddenly." His chakra poured through the weapon as he awaited another response intently.[ 2 / 5 ] The split vision proved quite a hindrance, throwing off Kaneo's sense of place. It took effort to keep track and control of his chakra without the visual markers he felt like he should have. It wasn't really a great sensation, but he was gradually gaining that control better.[ 3 / 5 ] At the end of the day, that was all that mattered. Getting better, not doing it perfectly. Despite his age, and aptitude, the man was still a genin, and for a reason at that.[ 4 / 5 ] A slight knot in his stomach aside, Kaneo felt good about his progress as his vision faded back into his head. Low and behold, here came his third member. Cason simply inclined his head to the man, but otherwise kept his mouth shut. He stood by and watched the other two trained, internally sighing. He was nothing like either one of them. They were warriors- beasts on the battlefield. He was more comfortable in a lab. When Kaneo inquired as to his opinion on the mission, Cason simply shrugged "Genin aren't afforded the luxury of opinions. I just do what I'm told"

After Orichi stop running to the academy he spots a lot off different detail into the massive structure he notices the well detailed silver and marble embroider,how well it blends in with each other he is amazed by this site and is really excited on the inside of himself he doesn't care to much for letting his emotions jump out of him like this often s o he keeps to himself mostly,he then realizes maybe he should have waited for his sensei ,but then again he did't care because he was so enthused to see this wonderful place he was ready to work his butt off to further his power and become really strong,he thought to him self i wonder what my ninja way will be, he hadn't really thought about it yet so he gave it no thought but in his sub consonance he wanted one thing more than anything to protect people so they can live with there family's and not bear the burden of loosing them at such a young age,he stooped all this pitiful thinking and walked over nearby bench and sat down and waited for the rest of his team.

Axel closed his eyes upon hearing Cason ask his question. He thought of a valid answer, but it didn’t come, or, more accurately, his train of thought was disrupted by the heavy footfall of his clone approaching to attack him. His eyes snapped open and saw the incoming fist of his clone going to his face; Axel responded by raising his left arm, smashing the side of his sword on the clone’s under arm, pushing it upward, the clone’s fist flew above the redhead’s head; then, he shot his right hand sword forward, stabbing the clone in the shoulder. Following that, Axel extended the same sword he had used to stab the clone forward, causing the clone to step backward. “That’s an excellent question Kaneo.” The redhead said as he began walking to his right, making note of the clone, then Kaneo, and finally Cason, as he walked in a circle. He flicked his wrists, turning both swords into Iron sand momentarily, weaved through some hand signs and created a second Iron Sand clone. Following the clone, he remade his swords and began to walk in circles around them once again, both clones ran at him, the first one punched at him, he ducked the attack, and then came the second one, aiming to kick him in the ribs, which he blocked with the side of both of his weapons. “And a complicated one to answer,” Axel added. His attention turned to the clones once again. His chakra surged around his weapon, spiraling, like a whirlpool. The first clone ran at him, almost without thinking (did clones even think? This was a question for another moment,) and Axel responded by stabbing forward; the chakra in his weapon exploded then, pushing the clone away from him, knocking it into the clone that stood behind it. [Stage 3 Learned 12/12 sentences]
The iron sand the clones were made of began to morph in their hands, forming into weapons; swords, to be exact. Axel did not relent in his attacks; following the clones being knocked back, he jumped forward. While in the air, he began a powerful downward thrust with his right hand blade, but then he brought it close upon landing; from there, he transitioned the momentum of his movements into a tight, circular, high slash, which thanks to the incoming tide remaining active for the time being, pushed both clones away upon making contact. “But, I’ve been a warrior in the Kumogakure army for about three years and a half. I used to be a Chunin; got to the rank in mere months, my promotion came as a result of the attack of the ice beasts… I used to enjoy Kaileer’s confidence once upon a time… So it’s safe to say that I’m no green boy, even though I’m at least six years younger than you, no offense.” As he spoke, Axel began to spin the blades at his hands, each pause represented an increase in the blades spin; as he did this, one of the clones stepped forward and thrust his blade toward him, turning the weapon into clumps of iron sand which clashed against the spinning blades; thanks to the incoming tide applied to his weapons, the projectiles that the clone had shot returned back to them. Following the reversal of the clone’s ranged attack, the second clone, which still had his sword, ran for Axel. Suddenly, he stopped the spinning of his swords. The clone went for a high downward slash against its creator, aiming to hit him in the neck; Axel, obviously, wasn’t going to have it. He responded swiftly. As the clone approached him, he too stepped forward, lowering his body as the clone’s attack began. He thrusted his left hand sword toward the clone’s wrist, sending his incoming tide’s chakra onto the clone, causing it to release the weapon mid swing. Then, following the release of the weapon, Axel released both of his and shot his arms to grasp the clone’s iron sword. Once it was in his hands, Axel slashed sideways, decapitating the clone in one slash. “That’s not true.” He said, speaking to Cason. “One of the perks of being a holdout of Kaileer’s tenure, and the biggest problems some would say, is that we’re encouraged to think for ourselves. Our opinions matter, and at times are the difference between an event being a simple freak occurrence or a deliberate attack from another village.” He was referring to the ice creature attack once again, if it wasn’t for his opinion taking precedence over the orders of his superiors, they would have never uncovered that it was the Hidden Leaf Village that was behind the attack, not that it mattered at the end, because nothing happened as a result of that intelligence. Regardless, he hoped it would prove to be helpful to both Cason and Kaneo. It felt strange for him to be the voice of reason and experience for once, but he did not believe that this was something that would be reoccurring. [Stage 4 Learned 9/9 sentences]

___Kaneo rubbed his chin as he pondered the responses he got. A shinobi being younger than himself wasn't much of a surprise, and he didn't take offense to it. He and Zuki were late bloomers, at least in that regard. "Are opinions a luxury, or is the ability to ignore everything and not burden oneself with the inherent responsibility the luxury?" Perhaps a slightly too serious question to pose to Cason, and entirely rhetorical, but... it was worth considering. Opinions were important, they afforded flexibility. The expression of an opinion about a situation could save a mission. Opinions turned into ideas and ideas, if managed properly, could be turned into tools. Of course, heeding only one's own opinions was unlikely to do anything but cause problems, but disregarding them entirely because of that seemed folly to the older genin. Momentarily his mind turned to the activity that was supposed to be taking place in the village, and wondering when anything might get underway.
