Elizabeth was admiring her pokemon and gazing at Zero's pokemon when she thought that she saw something coming over their way. So she looked, only to scream as it was a black-colored Cubone with its skull cracked and piercing icy blue eyes. It didn't seem very friendly as it came over either, angry and wanting to fight. She looked over at her pokemon, deciding who should go up against this Cubone and figuring out which one. "Fleur, help me out!" Elizabeth had called out as Fleur perked up, nodding back and quickly stepping up to the plate. "Fleur, use Icy Wind!" she said as the Dewgong nodded back, opening their mouth and blowing out a gust of sparkling blue snow straight at the Cubone. The move was super effective as the Cubone was instantly defeated and then ran off. She sighed in relief that she had finished the battle so quickly, wondering what happened to make that pokemon so angry and its skull cracked like that. "That was interesting." Elizabeth commented to Zero, wondering what he had thought about the Cubone she fought with when she found something on the ground. It looked like a candy bar, but not the kind that humans or pokemon should be eating, figuring that a professor would know about this.
Cracked Cubone appeared! Elizabeth sent out Fleur! Cubone vs. Fleur

Zero kept his gaze on his team when the redhead praised the group's appearance, smiling ever so slightly. "Yeah... I'm pretty proud of these guys, honestly." He looked over the five pokemon he had out, almost as strong as could be with plenty of experience under their belts. When Ezliabeth showed off her own pokemon, Zero tore his attention away from his team to look over her's, crouching down to greet them. "Well, you've got a pretty nice group here yourself. They look pretty nice in their own right." The pokemon behind the silver-haired trainer seemed to glance between each other, thinking of a way to ease the adjacent team's tension, but before they could really do anything, something happened; A strange Cubone appeared, and began to charge at them, the redheaded trainer screaming at the sight of it. Zero snapped to attention immediately, shooting back to his feet as he prepared for a fight, however Elizabeth's pokemon were faster. Her Dewgong fired off a chilling wind on command, and fortunately, the Cubone went down without issue.
Letting out a sigh, Zero relaxed slightly, before glancing around, raising a brow at what he saw. "Guess we're not the only ones that just ran into an odd pokemon like that," he noted, nodding his head towards some of the other people walking about in Lumiose. There were several other pokemon like the Cubone, running about and fighting other trainers in the city, though were almost entirely defeated by all who they encountered, save for a few starting trainers. He suddenly felt a tug on his leg, and glanced down, watching a pale hand sink back into his shadow, before it moved indepently of him, pointing behind them. Zero followed the elongated limb towards the thing Nevermoor was pointing out to him, which happened to be a strange Bulbasaur, out cold and a couple feet behind them. It took a moment for him to quite realize what the Darkrai had done, but after a short sigh, the young man nodded, and dug into his bag for a pokeball. Once he had one, he swiped his arm horizontally, tossing the orb towards the fainted pokemon, which made for an easy capture.

Elizabeth smiled happily, having heard from Zero that she has a nice group and that they look nice in their own right. Then she listened as he said that they weren't the only ones running into pokemon, looking around. Sure enough other trainers were encountering and battling strange pokemon, wondering what's going on. "I wonder why all these strange pokemon are suddenly appearing and battling us." Elizabeth had said back to Zero, seeing him catch a strange Bulbasaur. But then she turned around, only to see another strange Bulbasaur as it wanted to fight. "Camellia, let's go!" she called out as the Fennekin nodded back and walked up, ready to go. "Camellia, use Ember!" she said as Camellia fired a blanket of small orange sparks from its mouth at the Bulbasaur, dealing a lot of damage. But the Bulbasaur wasn't defeated yet as they let out a loud, piercing cry which rattled Camellia a little. "Hang in there, Camellia! Use Scratch!" she called out and the Fennekin nodded back as she ran and scratched the other with one of her front paws, leaving a white trail of energy. That was enough as the Bulbasaur was defeated, too weak to move. Elizabeth had then looked at the Bulbasaur, feeling bad for hurting them and thinking that they were kind of cute with that pumpkin on their back, deciding that she wanted them to come with her. So she threw a pokeball at the Bulbasaur, watching it move three times before it clicked, having caught them. "Nice. Your name will be Pumpkin, not exactly creative but it fits." she had said before it transferred to her PC, looking over at Zero. "It looks like we both caught a Bulbasaur now." Elizabeth then told him as she smiled, happy to have yet another new member of the team. This is the first time that she has had to battle a pokemon before catching and getting them on her team though, the rest having come willingly.

The young man shrugged when the redhead questioned why the strange pokemon were suddenly appearing, unsure but not entirely complaining about them. In fact, he couldn't help but find a bit of a opportunity in their sudden appearance. "Not sure, but I think we could probably capitalize on the sudden rush..." As he spoke, the other pokemon around began to notice them, a black Meowth approaching Zero while Elizabeth turned to find a Bulbasaur behind them. The silver-haired male's pokemon were ready to go, but instead he only returned four of them, Nova alone remaining as a chilling wind blew through the group. Once again, Nevermoor held the arm of the trainer's shadow outstretched, but before the winds could pass him, Nova was quicker to the draw, blasting the normal-type with teh full brunt of a Moonblast.
Zero glanced behind him to check on Elizabeth, who fortunately seemed to fare relatively fine against the second Bulbasaur, before catching it. He nodded in agreement when she noted that they both now had one of those particular grass-types now. "Indeed. Doesn't look like any of these pokemon are particularly strong, but there's a lot of them around. So it's probably a good idea if we try to fight as many of them as possible. It'll be good experience for or pokemon."

Elizabeth had listened as Zero talked about capitalizing on the rush on pokemon, seeing him beat a black-colored Meowth wearing a witch hat. That is the cutest thing ever, a Meowth wearing a witch's hat! Then she heard as Zero told her that these pokemon don't seem to be strong, but there is a lot of them so they should fight as many of them as possible to get more experience for their pokemon. "Yeah, so as long as our pokemon don't get too strong or worn out from all these battles." Elizabeth had said back to him, nodding in agreement. When she went looking around, she found a Meowth with a witch's hat coming towards her, excited. She has to catch this pokemon, no matter what! "Lilly, your turn!" she called out as the Lilligant looked up, nodding and stepping up. The Meowth ran up and scratched Lilly with it's paws, taking some damage. "Lilly, use Giga Drain!" Elizabeth called out as Lilly nodded before her 'arms' glowed, sending glowing vines straight at the Meowth and wrapping around it, draining some of their energy and healing herself with it. Then she let go and the vines came back to her before the Meowth started running towards her. The Meowth got up close, clapping its paws together to produce a shock wave but Lilly expected the attack and dodged before it could hit. "Lilly, use Mega Drain!" she called out as the Lilligant nodded with 'arms' glowing bright but not quite as much as before, sending the glowing vines straight at the Meowth again and wrapping around it, draining the other of it's last energy and healing herself with it. She let go and the vines came back to her, the Meowth defeated and too weak to move. Elizabeth knew that this was her chance to catch this pokemon, throwing a pokeball. She watched and waited as the pokeball moved once, twice, three times before it finally clicked; having caught the Meowth. She was trying to think of a good name for the Meowth, especially with their coloring and the witch's hat they wore. "I'll call you Amaranth." she finally decided before the pokemon was transferred over to her PC. While the Meowth's colors didn't match the flower, when she thought of a witch, she thought of black magic with trying to achieve immortality and eternal life which is what Amaranth means. Elizabeth looked over at Zero, kind of glad for all of these strange pokemon showing up because now she has gained two more new members of her team and is able to make all of her pokemon stronger too.

Elizabeth was thinking that with all these new pokemon, that she will have to train them up as well. She was looking around, only to see another Witchy Meowth bullying a poor Cyndaquil and thinking how terrible that is. "Hey, stop that!" she yelled, motioning for Lilly to follow as she ran over to the two pokemon. The Meowth had heard her, stopping what they were doing and didn't like that, ready to fight her. Lilly stepped up, prepared to fight again as well but the Meowth was quicker, running up to the Lilligant and clapping its paws together to produce a shock wave which damaged and startled Lilly so much that she couldn't attack. "Lilly!" Elizabeth had called, mad that the Meowth had done that. Then the Meowth used it to their advantage, again attacking by running up and scratching Lilly with their paws. "Lilly, use Giga Drain!" she called out as Lilly snapped out of it, nodding back with her 'arms' glowing brightly. She sent the glowing vines straight at the Meowth, wrapping them around it and draining the energy from them, healing herself with it before letting go. "Lilly, use Mega Drain!" Elizabeth had called out, Lilly nodding back before her 'arms' again glowed but not as bright. She sent out the glowing vines at the Meowth again, wrapping them around it and draining the last of their energy while healing herself. Then she let go and brought the vines back, the Meowth too weak to fight anymore and defeated as it quickly ran off. Elizabeth then ran over to the Cyndaquil, gently feeling the pokemon to check if they were hurt at all. "Don't worry, that Meowth won't bother you again. Are you hurt anywhere?" she then asked the pokemon before they shook their head no, which made her feel so relieved. "It's dangerous out here with all these strange pokemon running around. How would you like to stay with me, huh?" she asked the other as they eagerly nodded back and smiled. "That's good. Let's see, I'll name you Sorrel." Elizabeth had told the Cyndaquil who was happy with that name. She took a pokeball and lightly tossed it at him, waiting for it to move three times before it clicked, catching yet another new pokemon. Then she and Lilly had made their way back over to the rest of her pokemon that were still by Zero, knowing that she definitely needs to train up all these new pokemon soon.

While Elizabeth did her share of the fighting, Zero was quick to have his team clear the area one pokemon at a time. He wanted Nevermoor to deal with most of them, but since Ominous Wind wouldn't work against the Meowth running about, he opted to have Nova deal with them instead, a single Moonblast all it took for essentially all cases. The psychic-type blew yet another of the normal-typed pokemon away, while Zero glanced off to watch Elizabeth as she ran over to a wounded Cyndaquil. It didn't seem like any other wild pokemon were moving to attack her from behind though, so he didn't take long to turn back, keeping his eyes forward in case of whatever came running towards him. When the redhead returned, he returned his gaze to her, but only partially. "I see you're making a lot of new friends today."

Elizabeth had come back over to Zero and the rest of her pokemon, nodding back as she giggled. "Yeah, it doesn't help with all these strange pokemon appearing and battling everyone as well." she said back to him in agreement, glad to be catching more pokemon here in Kalos. Then she looked around, only to find another of that pumpkin Bulbasaur bullying an Amaura, feeling bad and mad that these strange pokemon are hurting other innocent pokemon. "Hey, stop hurting them!" Elizabeth had yelled at the Bulbasaur, this time having Camellia follow as she ran over. The Bulbasaur had heard her, stopping as it didn't like that, ready to fight. "Camellia, use Ember!" she called out as Camellia fired a blanket of small orange sparks from its mouth at the Bulbasaur, dealing a lot of damage. But the Bulbasaur wasn't defeated yet as they let out a loud, piercing cry which rattled Camellia a little. "Camellia, use Scratch!" she called out, the Fennekin snapping out of it as she ran and scratched the other with one of her front paws, leaving a white trail of energy. The Bulbasaur was defeated, too weak to attack again as they ran off. But then Elizabeth went over to the Amaura, checking them for injuries and thinking how cute they are. "Are you okay? Did you get hurt at all?" she asked the pokemon who shook their head no. "That's good. It's really dangerous for a lone pokemon to be out here with all these strange pokemon around. Would you like to come with me?" Elizabeth had said back to Amaura who happily nodded back to her. "Nice. I'll call you Delphine." she told the pokemon as they smiled and cried, happy with the name. Then she gently tossed a pokeball at Delphine, waiting for it to move three times before it clicked. Now she has caught yet another new pokemon as they were transferred to her PC. Elizabeth then made her way back over to Zero and the rest of her team, thinking that today must be her lucky day with all these new pokemon she has been catching. She looked down and noticed another one of those strange candy bars she found before on the ground, putting it into her bag.

Unfortunately it wasn't long before yet another Bulbasaur showed up, wanting to battle Elizabeth. "Camellia, let's go!" she said as Camellia nodded back, ready to fight again. "Camellia, use Ember!" she called out as Camellia fired a blanket of small orange sparks from its mouth at the Bulbasaur, dealing a lot of damage. But the other pokemon was still up, sending out vines that hit and whipped Camellia a bit. Luckily it was not that much as the Fennekin could still fight. "Camellia, use Scratch!" Elizabeth had called out before the Fennekin ran and scratched the other with one of her front paws, leaving a white trail of energy. The Bulbasaur was too weak to fight anymore, quickly running away as she was relieved. But then she noticed that there was a little blue bell on the ground, wondering where it came from as she picked it up, causing it to move and ring out. "Come over here" she suddenly heard a voice in her head say, confused and wondered where it was coming from as she looked around. "Over here" the voice had said again when she happened to be glancing over at an area surrounded by bushes, so many that were so thick that she couldn't see through it into that part. So Elizabeth figured that the voice was coming from over there, returning all her pokemon to their pokeballs and taking them with her just in case before running over. She made her way through the bushes, in a empty clearing where no one would be able to see what is going on, looking around nervously. Just then a small blue pokemon appeared in front of her, smiling and so very cute! But she has never seen a pokemon like this before, scanning it and was absolutely stunned as she realized that this was Manaphy, one of THE rare Mythical pokemon. But why is it here all of places and appearing in front of a human like her? "Thank you. I heard my bell ring and followed the sound to here, where I saw that you rang it. I must say, I could sense that all of your pokemon have a very strong bond with you." Elizabeth had heard in her head, looking at the Manaphy as they nodded back, the voice coming from them. "Oh, that was yours? I'm sorry, I had just found it. Thank you, and I do have a strong bond with all of my pokemon as well. I want to protect and cherish these bonds no matter what." she then said back to the Manaphy who was nodding and smiling happily. "That is great, if all people were like you, the world would be a more peaceful place. After getting to see and hear the kind of trainer that you are, I want to travel with you. Are you strong enough to handle this responsibility?" the Manaphy had questioned in her head, Elizabeth so surprised that a Mythical pokemon wants to travel with her of all people. "Really? That would be a blessing. Of course I am strong enough, I will protect you and all other pokemon from those who want to harm you." she said back to the Manaphy, nodding as she was smiling and determined. "Good, I hope that we will get to travel to lots of different places together and make bonds with more pokemon." the Manaphy said back in her head, making Elizabeth happy before she realized that she needed to give Manaphy a name. Unfortunately they are neither a boy or a girl, so she had to think of something that could work for both. "What do you think about the name Leilani?" she then asked the other who smiled even more and was happy. "It is a very nice name. Thank you very much." the Manaphy had said in her head, waiting. She was so glad that she kept the Master Balls that she had gotten in Johto, not wanting to lose out on having Manaphy. So she threw one of the Master Balls at Manaphy, watching it move three times before it clicked, having officially caught one of the Mythical pokemon. Wow, wait until the Professor sees this! They transferred over to her PC, feeling so happy right now before she started leaving the clearing. But should she tell Zero about Leilani though? While he seems to be a good guy and a lot like her in many ways, she was worried that if word gets out about this, her father will only be even more motivated to come after her. Not only would he get to force her into Team Void, but they also would get to have their hands on a Mythical pokemon, something that has to be avoided at all costs. So Elizabeth made her way back over to Zero, playing it cool and thinking of what excuse to give him for why she went to that clearing and what happened there.

While Elizabeth went on battling more and more pokemon, Zero didn't slouch too much either. He kept his eye on the strange wild pokemon coming his way, before zeroing in on a Cubone with a fractured skull, determining it to be coming the closest. The moment he turned his gaze to the small ground-type, Nevermoor's followed, and threw the outstretched arm of the trainer's shade towards the small creature. A moment later, and a chilling wind blew through once again, before slamming hard into the Cubone. It was thrown back, and knocked out instantly, allowing Zero to turn his attention to the next set.

When the Cubone fell away, it didn't take long for two more pokemon to take their place, scurrying along the path towards them. Two Spinarak, both sporting a black coloration with a red, hourglass-like design on their backs. Choosing to take them both out at once, Zero glanced back at Nova, who nodded in response, reading his mind for his command. Even with their resistance to fairy, the power gap between the spiders and Nova was just too great, and a single Moonblast knocked one clear out of the road, while Nevermoor was quick to catch the second. Another Ominous Wind, and the bug-types were quickly felled, knocked out in one attack each.

Elizabeth was so relieved as Zero didn't ask where she had went and what happened, too busy battling more of the strange pokemon. Speaking of which, yet another of those Bulbasaur appeared, wanting to fight as she sighed and sent out Camellia again. Elizabeth quietly sighed, wondering just where the heck all of these strange pokemon are coming from and why this is happening. But at least she can train her pokemon, especially with all these new pokemon that she has caught too.

Elizabeth was now seeing as a Cubone with the cracks on it's skull had approached, wanting to fight. "Lilly, your turn!" she called out as the Lilligant stepped forward and ready for her turn. "Lilly, use Giga Drain!" she yelled as Lilly's 'arms' were glowing brightly. She then sent the glowing vines straight at the Cubone, wrapping them around it and draining the energy from them, healing herself with it before letting go. The Cubone was defeated, too weak to fight anymore as they ran off which Elizabeth was glad about. She was happy that had ended so quickly, unfortunately she spoke way too soon. A Meowth suddenly came running up towards her, but Lilly got in between making the Meowth stop and ready to fight. "Lilly, use Mega Drain!" she called out, Lilly nodding back before her 'arms' again glowed but not as bright. She sent out the glowing vines at the Meowth again, wrapping them around it and draining the last of their energy while healing herself before letting go. Then the Meowth ran over and scratched at Lilly with their paws, dealing a bit of damage. "Lilly, use Giga Drain!" Elizabeth called out and Lilly nodded back with her 'arms' glowing brightly. She sent the glowing vines straight at the Meowth, wrapping them around it and draining the energy from them, healing herself with it before letting go. The Meowth was defeated, too weak to fight anymore as they ran off. Elizabeth was getting a little exhausted from battling all these pokemon, and she was sure that Camellia and Lilly were getting a bit tired of doing all the fighting too. Then she looked at the ground, finding another of those odd candy bars, putting it into her bag and thinking that there sure are a lot of them lying around.

With those three out of the way, things still continued without pause, with there seemingly being an endless wave of wild pokemon charging towards the two trainers. While Elizabeth seemed to be doing fine, Zero still kept occasionally checking in, glancing back at her while his pokemon dealt with the next opponent coming towards them. It wasn't as if it was hard, as Nevermoor could deal with all but the occasional Meowth. When one did appear, as in this instance, all Nova had to do was a single, powerful Moonblast, and it was thrown back far and knocked out instantly, giving them little trouble at all.

Elizabeth was looking back at Zero, seeing him handle all of these strange pokemon just fine. She didn't get how some of the pokemon he faced were being defeated, even though Nova was the only one that could fight but didn't with some of them. Does he have another pokemon out that is hiding from her sight? Then she turned around, finding another Cubone that wanted to battle, knowing that this will be quick. "Lilly, use Giga Drain!" she called out as Lilly nodded and stepped up with her 'arms' glowing brightly. She then sent the glowing vines straight at the Cubone, wrapping them around it and draining the energy from them, healing herself with it before letting go. The Cubone was defeated, too weak to fight anymore as they ran off which Elizabeth was glad about. She figured that after this, some of her other pokemon should battle and get some more experience now too.
