Following the road the rest of the way through the Viridian forest and into Pewter city Fremy arrived in the sleepy little query town sometimes around noon-ish. With the Poke'Dex as her trainer ID now she could use the healing stations which would make her life so much easier. It meant she didn't need to go scooping out the city for a black market healer who was going to charge an arm and a leg. This was the first time using a pokemon center in nearly six years so she was a little nervous to say the least. Thankfully though she was no stranger to hiding who she really was. First she was going to test the PC system out by dropping out her newly acquired pokemon save one.
Sitting down and turning to PC on it wasn't long before the system had booted up. It worked by having the trainers slip they're Poke'Dex into a slot on the front of the system and registering who's Dex it was to give correct access to the PC system. First setting the captured Pidgey's pokeball on the teleportation pad next to the PC and activating the system. she had known she was going to need a genie pig for this so what better genie pig then a worthless bird. Sure enough it worked. Ok now to see about the Stolen pokemon. Before getting to the City she had switched them from the balls they had been in to her own so the system shouldn't recognize them as anyone but her owns. Bingo, that worked too. Good to know. Fremy relaxed considerably knowing there wasn't any risk to being caught with the PC system itself.
Next was to get a quick healing from the nurse which only took about half an hour in which time Fremy grabbed a quick bite to eat. Finally was the Gym leader. She had been mentally preparing sense the night before when her client had more or less hired her to take them gym challenge. It seemed a little off but it was also very logical. Completing the gym challenged earned the respect of pokemon wild and tamed and so it made sence if she could collect the ones she needed most now she might have a higher chance of encounter the legendary pokemon.
The town was thankfully small so locating the gym was easy. It was the building built under a large boulder. Heaves knows who's idea that was but the gym had stood for at least ten years or more so it had to be safe. Pulling the doors open Fremy stepped side to see a large barren patch of ground marked out as the arena. It made sense if the gym was a rock or ground type. The whole town had a stone feel about it so why not the gym too. Actually most town where built up around the gym as far as she understood it. A man stood on the gym leader square ready for any challenges that came his way. Taking her spot in the challengers box Fremy retrieved a pokeball from her hip and announced her challenge. "Iv come to challenge the Pewter city gym. My name is Victoria L. Chimory."

The journey to Pewter City was, in its own way, long and short. It had only been a couple of days since she started out on her journey. Originally she used to have company and even a rival but that somehow fizzled out for either the good or the bad. Then she had met another trainer but that seemed to end before it could even start. Though, such things weren’t going to get her down! Her first gym badge was still within the palm of her hands, the memory of the battle was well within her mind. ’Thank you,’ the child thought when her gaze fell down to the Pokeballs on her belt. Every team member had their own backstory, some were more sad than others. The child could only hope that her company and this journey may alleviate them of any scars. Taking as many steps as needed to exit out of the Gym the sunlight greeted her with a pleasant welcome. Not only was it the first to greet her after being able to attain her first gym badge but it was also a reminder. The dream she had of becoming the best Breeder in the world. She most certainly did not forget about the promise the parents made to her. Nor would she forsake the Pokemon that had put some trust in her. ”Well….now what do I do?

’I mean…I know that there is another Gym Leader….yeah there should be? So, should I just go on over to the next Gym, do I train….do I….’ Misa ruffled her hair as she was quite unsure as to what to do next. Now that she had completed her first Gym battle it felt sensible to go on to the next Gym Leader but there was so many more things to do right now. ’I could go train my Pokemon, I could get to know them a bit better, there is just so many things I could do right now.’ Misa could walk along the whole city but she wasn’t sure what was here that would interest her. ’Maybe I should just go off to the Pokemon Center so that I can heal all my Pokemon.’ Not all of them were involved in the Gym Battle but she didn’t feel as if it would hurt if she just went on over to the Pokemon Center. ’Then we could get something to eat and maybe I can do some research on what to do next?’ For now the plan sounded like a decent one considering her circumstances. The Pokemon Center felt like a place of knowledge and surely there may be something there that could aid her.

Maybe Misa some help? The girl wandered around the city on the lookout for the red roofed healing center. Either her mind could not recollect were the building was or this city may be too big for her to handle. It wasn’t a terribly big city but it was still decently sized for her to forget the way. ”I’m really going to need some help,” the child sighed as she took out two Pokeballs. ”Please help me out,” out from those two Pokeballs came Pidgey that flew towards the child’s shoulder and butterfree that flapped itself in place. ”Could you please help me find the Pokemon Center? I may have lost my way just a bit. I guess the Gym Battle may have been a bit too exciting for me. Pidgey gave a gentle nod of the head while Butterfree turned its head away from the Trainer. ’I guess me and Butterfree have some work to do…’ The two Flying types took to the air to search for the said building. Meanwhile, Misak took this opportunity to place the Gym Badge back inside her bag so that it wouldn’t be lost. It was her first step in this journey and there was no way she would want to lose it now.

Maybe a minute but at most two the Flying-types returned. Pidgey and Butterfree appeared to beckon the young girl to follow them. ”Oh? Did you find it?” The two nodded their head as they led the human to her targeted destination. ’I'm happy that I have these two on my team. If I didn’t have a Flying-type I might be in trouble.’ The thought was enough to grow an awkward grin on her face. The time necessary for the Pokemon to be healed up had come. The nurse was kind enough to return the healed up Pokemon to Misa. She gave a small thank you and was just about to leave before the nurse called her back. ”Miss Shusona, we received a package with your name on it. Would you like it at this time?” The child appeared perplexed, ’A package for me?’ It wasn’t that long ago when Misa received a package from her family. Goodra was the one who delivered the last message but it looked like whoever delivered this package didn’t stick around. ”Yes please.” The nurse gave a small smile and took out a medium sized parcel from under the counter. With thanks given out by both parties Misa made her way towards a empty booth seat to see what her spoils were. ”Lets all come on out.” With that she sent out her Pokeballs to let out all of her companions. One by one each of them made themselves seated in the booth that was offered to them. Goodra was at least able to slid in thanks to its slimy body. Most of the other Pokemon were small enough to just seat themselves down on the cushions or on the tabletop. ”Everyone comfortable?” Each of them gave a murmer of agreement before Misa divulged the contents of the package.

These balls help you catch Pokemon that can evolve through the use of a Moonstone (which we have also placed in). Mt. Moon is known for having Clefairys and they evolve using a Moon Stone but we heard that Pewter City has some Jigglypuffs that can evolve through the Moon Stone. too We just want you to take your time, train your Pokemon and be prepared. We packed some Sitrus berries incase you are in a tough spot. Misa smiled at the letter in her hand as she tucked it away within her bag. Now it was time to distribute the goodies! Misa was ready to give each Pokemon their intended goods but it seemed that they already figured it all out. ’I guess that makes it a bit easier to distribute things.’ Misa made sure that each Pokemon had a goody before checking her own. The child collected the Moon Stones, A Great Ball, A Lucky Egg, some blue candies, mushrooms, heart-like scales, sweet incense, the berries, TMs, a Crystal Shard, and the Moon Balls. There were a bunch of goodies that were for her and she was able to know what the next Gym would be. ’Thanks mom and dad,” she was sure to make a mental note of that. Pulling in all of her goods she found that there was a Pokeball within the mix. A bit perplexed at the situation she wasn’t quite sure of what to make of it. The ball stayed in her hand for only a second longer before vanishing from her sight. Misa blinked a couple of times and noted a small card at the bottom of the box. ”Please be sure to take care of this little guy. We found him abandoned in Pallet Town and we weren’t really sure what to do with him. We thought of you and your adventure. Please be sure to take him along as he really needs the company right now.” She gave a small sigh while take a long glance at the PC. This was a real toughie considering that she didn’t have any more room on her team.

The rest of the Pokemon had remained quiet as this scene was playing out. Neither of them moved from their spots unless it was during the time that Goodra and Dewgong were making their way to Misa. It looked as if two tributes were decided when they really only needed one. In that sense, it felt like the whole party of Pokemon felt more together. Neither of them wanted to be away from their journey yet each were now beginning to understand the human. She possessed a weak heart against abused Pokemon. Certainly didn’t seem like the type to want to abandon any Pokemon for any reason. In their heart of hearts they may have begun to know that there may be one day where they may even need to make room for a Pokemon in need. With that common thought in mind they all looked to each other as if to show that their minds were all on the same page. Goodra and Dewgong opened up their eyes to the realization that this human girl didn’t play favorites. Maybe the one exception was with Pokemon who were in trouble but when it came to them individually there was none.

”Alright everyone, I know that this is a temporary goodbye but lets still give them a good one.” Misa looked towards the Pokemon as they snapped from their thoughts. Goodra and Dewgong faced the group as the rest were beginning to go off on their side. Bulbaur gave a vine to the two as a ways of sending them off with a handshake. Pidgey was able to give a small hug towards the Dewgong, its white fin covering the bird Pokemon. When it came to giving Goodra with a hug it found itself a bit on the slimy side. Most of the Pokemon that went up to physically touch each of them were left off just a little bit wetter and stickier ”Thank you so much you two, I promise that my folks will take good care of you.” Misa went in to give both Pokemon a hug though it seemed that Goodra was able to keep in its slime because the child found herself completely dry. ”I’m sure we will meet again.” Taking out two Pokeballs Misa returned Dewgong and Goodra. She murmured a small thank you before heading off to the PC

The deed was done as she finished up chatting with her folks on the computer. The child thanked them for the wonderful gifts they gave to her. Misa informed them of her dilemma and how two of her Pokemon offered to give their space up for this mystery Pokemon. The parents seemed well taken to the conclusion that their child and her partners came. They even agreed that a few more companions in Pallet Town would be enjoyable. She was sure to express some concerns over Goodra’s slime. The parents didn’t appear to be bothered by her concern as Misa sent off the two Pokemon to her parents. Browsing through the PC she was sure to send off Sylveon towards her parents place as well. Then browsing through the boxes she found the Pokemon that her parents sent her. It looked like an orange dog with black stripes. Upon clicking the picture its Pokeball appeared out from the machine. ”Come on out and meet your partners.” With a toss of the ball a new Pokemon was added to the team.

Out of the ball came out a orange fuzzball who bounded across the room. It looked at things with a strange look on its face, perhaps unsure as to what to make of its surrounding. It spotted other Pokemon, other humans and when its eyes landed upon the human that brought it out of its Pokeball it froze. It stared up at her while Misa stared down at it. The Pokemon by her side were unsure of what to make of this newcomer. Then suddenly it went about to run in a circle around the human girl in a odd fashion. ”Well, you sure seem to be energetic.” The child was a bit perplexed at the creature’s behavior. It didn’t behave at all like Dewgong and Sylveon. ”Lets learn a little more about you.” Misa took out her Pokedex to scan and get information from this orange dog. ”Growlithe, a Fire-type Pokemon and you know…Roar and Bite. Alright…and you need some work since your level is a bit low.” The Pokemon’s stats were on the low side, which meant that this Pokemon would need quite a bit of training. ”Alright everyone, it looks like we will need to train our newcomer.” The Pokemon all had a small gleam in their eyes at the prospects of an up and coming battle. ”Alright, I think I’ll have Pikachu tag along. We should take this time to get to know each other better.” Pikachu made a pleasing sound as the others adverted their gaze away from the yellow creature. ”Its better to take turns, right? Or else it isn’t fair to everyone else. And if we run into a Trainer I wouldn’t want them to know what strong Pokemon I have.” Each one looked a little bit more happier as they returned to their Pokeball.
