-]Cerbera giggled, grinning from ear to ear as she let Viola go and turned to receive congratulations from her new friend. Just before she had hugged the woman, Loofah had hopped back up on top of the girl's head to avoid being squizhed, and was still there now, croaking happily. To be perfectly honest, Cerbera had forgotten about getting food from all the excitement of not only her first gym battle, but her first showdown with any other trainer at all. However, her stomach was grumbling a bit now that she paid attention. "Oh, um sure thing...let's go get a bite then...a victory meal! I just gotta put this stuff awa...." Her arm was already in her bag as she spoke, tucking the things Viola had given her inside when she felt something odd and trailed off. She pulled out a cherish ball from her bag, like Spirits, but not hers. Realization began to set in and she pointed the recall beam over her shoulder, pulling the Haunter in. "Oh...I guess...it's mine now?" she said, a little confused, "How'd that happen?"[- -]The Haunter, however, did not like being in it's ball. Once it was settle inside once again, the ball clicked back open and the icy blue pokemon reemerged behind Berrie, hugging her with it's disembodied hands and licking her face, the suddenness making her stiffen up. Apparently it'd take her a bit to get used to the Haunter's affections.[-

Giovanni was abit confused to why she was concerned. "She's a Psychic Type. It's a mind game for them" it was kind of an off comment for him since his Psychic Type was alsa a Steel Type so it lost the Bug Weakness. They made the way down and was stopped by a Litleo which Cerbera made short work of before catching.
"Hey you really love that Water Type huh?" Giovanni asked before thinking about him and his Lucario when it was a Riolu. His Lucario wasn't as friendly as he had been back then. Of course him leaving Team Snagem didn't help much especially after they made him abandon his old Pokemon, Lucario being the only one he had seen again.

Now knowing it was a touchy subject he decided to not push the matter further, even if he did warn her not to get bugged out. When Cerbera handed over her Pokemon Giovanni decided not to, as quick as that battle was he felt no need to. That was his goal for all his Gym battles, strike quick, strike fast and finish quicker. He liked to have fun in his battles and think of them as a game of chess. Plan ahead and if you can predict what happens then you should be able to come out on top everytime. If Jasmine had been here she would have said that it's all about how much you train and that the harder you train the better off you will be. However she believed in a proper defence something Gio thought you really didn't need if you wanted to really get things done.

She put her money in to give it a try, getting a pretty crystalline shard for her efforts. "Oooh that's awesome!" she said, "I gotta do that again!"
