Just the slightly out of place backgrounds and bad rendering job make it look so. sweatdrop what you mean bad rendering? i made it look grainny and not even sorta like if the tv is a lil messed up. sorta like some places in silent hill 2. its so silent hill if you are fan.
Badly rendered meaning.. the hair wasn't extracted at all, it was choppy around the edges and just looked... bad. D:
As for the background, yes I know that was silent hill.
Also, I am a sig designer/graphics artist. I know how to spot out of place pictures. sweatdrop i wanted it choppy around the edges i think it blends well with the grainny look makes it look distorted, makes me pop out. and what do you mean i didnt extract the hair? i mean all taste is different. your just seeing what i was going for. sorta like drawing.. when i see something and think it looks cute someone else might think its ugly blaugh
What I meant by extracting hair, is.. extract it from the background, since it's too thin to be rendered any other way.
How did you go about rendering it anyways?  to do this picture i used GIMP for everything. my hair too thin? cry my hair is beautiful!!!! and bouncy... how dare you insult my hair!!! scream ... lol jk xp imagine eek

And, I meant the strands of your hair, not your hair in general. xPi tried photoshop it has a lot of the stuff GIMP has and GIMP is free. i go with whats free. especially with times like these.
