"yes, please! Better than wandering aimlessly."

Mikka was indeed very kind to him. Unfortunately, he didn't have many friends. But it was starting to look like Mikka was a friend.

Cedar thought for a few minutes. He could sing, play piano, do normal house work, many different things.

I can primarily entertain, but I can do housework if necessary. By the way, when did you first come here? Was it very long ago?"

He was curious as to who she was underneath the surface.

"A whole year? That's impressive...Is it boring here?"

Cedar knew that it would be a long time before he would leave. But with this kind girl here, he wasn't sure he wanted to leave. However, Yuki was out there somewhere...

Cedar smiled, and held her shoulder lightly.

"Being there for them is the best thing then. You cant always help them directly, but i'm sure they want you around, at the least."

He wanted her to be happy. Mikka cheered him up, so he would return the favor. After all, she was the only friend he had now.

Cedar was blushing a little.

"H-Hello, miss. My name is Cedar Young. I landed on this island not long ago. Thanks to Mikka, I'd like to work here if possible. I can sing, play piano, and do housework if necessary."

Cedar swallowed a little. He had barely had a summer job, let alone talk to a castle mistress about one. It was making him very nervous.

"Thank you very much, ma'am."

He spoke to the other woman. He turned and smiled at Mikka. SHe seemed ecstatic that Cedar would be working with her.

"I hope to know you better, Mikka." Cedar spoke with a smile.

She seemed like a wonderful young woman to him.

"Alright, calm yourself." Cedar laughed.

He walked into the bathroom, changing quickly. He walked out in a nice suit, minus the jacket. The vest was black with a silver back. He also wore a straight tie, which was also silver. He wore white gloves with black pants. Cedar smiled.

"Not bad at all!"

"That sounds wonderful, Mikka." Cedar spoke gently.

Mikka was a beautiful kind young woman. The fact that she was so nice him so much was very foreign. Cedar was used scorn and jealousy. Mikka was the opposite. Cedar thought he would like it here.
