Hitoshi came t[spoilo a stop in front of the water and shrugged off his jacket, not wanting to get it wet. 'I guess I'll start off by meditating first. I haven't done it in a while so it seems like a decent first step.' So the boy sat down, closed his eyes, and began to focus on the chakra in his body. [1/5] He began to move the chakra about, focusing it into his left arm. He then focused it into the palm of his hand, and allowed the chakra to build. The chakra continued to build up more and more until there was an absurd amount of chakra built up in the hand. Hitoshi then placed the hand against a nearby tree, and with an ear-splitting crack the hand was repelled, leaving a deep crack in the trunk of the tree. [2/5] Success. Now for the next one. Hitoshi repeated the process with his right hand, but this time was careful to not let the chakra build up too much. He then took out a kunai and allowed the tip of it to balance in the palm of his hand. The kunai stuck there, his hand protected by a thin film of chakra. [3/5] Hitoshi repeated this process with each finger of his right hand until he was satisfied. Afterwards he stood up and faced the tree he'd left that crack in earlier. After carefully applying an amount of chakra to the bottom of his feet that felt right, he successfully began walking up the side of the tree. He walked until he was standing upside down under a tree branch that hung directly above the water. [4/5] This next one would be tricky but Hitoshi had always been good at chakra control, so he wasn't worried. He stopped the chakra flow to his feet, and then began to fall. Twisting his body around he righted himself in the air and re-applied the chakra to his feet. His feet hit the surface of the water... and he floated right on top of it. The boy took a few more experimental steps to make sure, but he had succeeded. He was walking on water. [5/5] [Basic Training: Meditate Complete]
"The fact I can do this never gets old," he says with a light chuckle, deciding to move on to the next step. Next he would practice molding his chakra with hand seals, so he might as well practice a jutsu or two while he was at it. "Let's see I should stick to a couple easy E-Ranks... ah. These will do." [1/5] First he practiced the hand seals for a Genjutsu. A simple one meant for distraction that would always be useful. Hitoshi slowly went through the seals for the Genjutsu Shihouhapou [ All Directions ] to make sure he knew them well. Then he practiced the seals some more for speed until he was happy with how quickly he could perform the jutsu. [2/5] [1/3] [1/1] One more Genjutsu. Hitoshi next began to practice the hand seals for Tsutaurushi no Jutsu [ Poison Ivy Technique ]. This was another incredibly simple Genjutsu, but he knew it would have its uses in the future. It would most certainly be invaluable in a Taijutsu match at the very least. [3/5] [2/3] [1/1] Finished with Genjutsu, Hitoshi decided to move on to the favorite of his two elements. The ability to use suiton jutsu without a water source would be amazing, but to practice he'd simply create some water out of the moisture in the air. He was standing on top of a pond, so it shouldn't be too difficult. After trying multiple hand signs and finally settling on Inu-the one most affiliated with suiton jutsu-Hitoshi was finally able to create about a gallon of jutsu in the air in front of him... which immediately fell into the pond, making it a gallon deeper. Success! [4/5] [3/3] [1/1] One more jutsu and Hitoshi would be fine. Then he'd be able to move on to bigger and more destructive jutsu! The jutsu he liked most in the Fuuton scroll was the Kaze Bunshin [ Wind Clone ] jutsu. Alright. There were more jutsu to practice now, and Hitoshi would start with Genjutsu. First up was Hibanahouden no Jutsu [ Discharge Technique ]. He practiced the hand seals for that jutsu a bit. Then he practiced some more until he was satisfied, moving on to the next jutsu [1/1] [1/3]. The next jutsu he would practice was Shimaru Shikaku [ Closed Sight ]. He practiced the hand seals until he was satisfied. Then he practiced some more. Then he practiced just a little bit more until he was happy. [1/1] [2/3]. Starvation was a very unpleasant thing. To have someone believe they were constantly in physical pain due to hunger would be extremely useful, so Hitoshi learned Nodono Kawaki no Jutsu [ Thirst Technique ] next. He practiced the hand seals until he got them down perfectly. It wasn't terribly difficult. He'd been working on a lot of E-Rank techniques, but now it was time for Hitoshi to move on to some D-Rank Genjutsu. The next technique was something called the… Dirty Clothes Technique? Weird name, but it paired well with the Poison Ivy Technique he'd learned earlier, so there was no reason not to learn it. [1/2] Hitoshi started practicing the hand seals for the jutsu. Then he practiced the hand seals some more. Then he kept practicing until he was satisfied. [2/2] Fuketsu Koromo no Jutsu [ Dirty Clothes Technique ] Learned
Next were a couple C-Rank techniques. They wouldn't be too difficult; the difficulty would come with the B-Rank techniques a little later. Hitoshi was fairly certain he could knock them out. First was Hibanahouden Ni no Jutsu [ Discharge 2 Technique ]. [1/1] He practiced the jutsu for a bit. Then he practiced some more. Then he tested it out on the clone he'd created earlier. Success. This was a powerful jutsu. It took away an opponent's eyesight and even removed their ability to sense chakra reliably. The chakra part was important, because that meant it would be useful even against someone like Xion, who was already blind. [1/2] He practiced the hand seals for a bit at first. Then he cast the Genjutsu on himself, curious about what it was like. Gasping, he quickly kai'd out of the jutsu. Blindness sucked. He really felt bad for poor Xion. [2/2] Kokuangyou no Jutsu [ Journey into Black Darkness Technique ] Learned
The next one was something called the Melting Flesh Technique. It was about as scary as one could imagine. For someone to watch as their skin began to melt off, leaving nothing but bone… Hitoshi shivered. It sounded terrible. [1/2] However it also sounded incredibly useful. So he began trying the hand seals for it and building up the chakra. He did not release the chakra though. He didn't want to use that one on himself, or Scylla, or even his little water clone. Next was the… the Flower Petal Escape? Weird name, since it didn't technically NEED to use flower petals, but it was certainly a great jutsu. Hitoshi would be stepping back into D-Rank territory here, but the ability to set-up a counterattack with this one would be valuable. [1/2] Hitoshi practiced the hand seals for the jutsu. Then he practiced some more until he was satisfied. He continued practicing until he could do the jutsu without needing seals. [2/2] Kurenai's Flower Petal Escape [ Unnamed ] Learned
Now back up to C-Rank. Go Kasho Fuu: Raikou Seki no Jutsu [ Five Point Seal: Lightning Barrier Technique ] was quite a wordy jutsu to be sure, but it would be another useful one. Similar to Discharge 2, he may be able to use it as a prelude to Discharge 2 to lend the second Genjutsu more believability. [1/2] He would also be able to set it as a trap. Hitoshi tried doing just that and… it was successful. However, Hitoshi's training had to pause for several minutes as he apologized profusely to the academy instructor that had accidentally stumbled into his trap before he could dispel the Genjutsu. [2/2] Go Kasho Fuu: Raikou Seki no Jutsu [ Five Point Seal: Lightning Barrier Technique ] Learned
Now this was an interesting one. It was similar to the Flower Petal Escape technique in that it would allow for great counter opportunities, yet it functioned completely differently. Hitoshi would need to use the clone he'd created earlier to help out with this. [1/2] Hitoshi's clone threw its kunai at the original, striking him in the heart. It was a ruse though! As the illusion of Hitoshi vanished, the clone felt one of Hitoshi's own kunai poised right at his heart behind him. Yet another successful Genjutsu learned. Aitou no Hibiki [ Echo of Lament ] Learned
Rushing Winds seemed like a good jutsu. It would certainly pair well with Hitoshi's fuuton element at the very least. He was excited to get started with this one, so he got to work quickly. [1/2] Hitoshi practiced the hand seals without chakra for a bit. Then he practiced again, but this time with chakra. Next he directed the chakra towards his wind clone. Considering the clone's reaction, Hitoshi figured he could count this as another success as the clone was bent over, hurling its guts out into the small pond they were standing on. [2/2] Kaze no Totsunyuu [ Rushing Winds ] Learned
Hitoshi wasn't done yet though. Now he could practice two Genjutsu at the same time, but to do that he'd need to cast this next one before the clone could kai out of it. Yes, there was a Genjutsu that would allow Hitoshi to lair another Genjutsu on top of the old one. [1/2] [1/4] The results of doing this would be an opponent immediately falling under the effects of the second Genjutsu after the first was kai'd out of. Used correctly, this could cause an opponent to begin to doubt what was truly real, or what was just a Genjutsu. It was a terrifyingly effective way to do things. [2/2] [2/4] Before the clone was able to kai out of its Genjutsu, Hitoshi had already gone through the hand seals for a new one. This one required the generation of wind, and it was just his luck that the previous Genjutsu had done a wonderful job of that. Hitoshi watched with bated breath as his clone released the jutsu, hoping desperately that this would work. [3/4] Immediately upon releasing the Genjutsu, the clone lost the ability to stay on top of the water, falling through as the chakra in his feet went out of whack. When the clone broke the surface of the water it was wheezing as it continued to throw up and retch, pinching its nose between its fingers. Once again, this could be called a success. [4/4] Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu [ Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique ] Learned Hakike [ Nausea ] Learned
Only two more Genjutsu to go! Hitoshi could do this, and then he'd finally be able to move on to Ninjutsu! Just like Nausea however these next two would be B-ranks, so therefore much more difficult to learn then the previous jutsus. Hitoshi was confident he could learn them though. [1/4] This first one was deceptively simple. It simply caused the opponent's body to believe that gravity had stopped working for them alone. Their eyes would tell them that of course that wasn't the case, but that didn't exactly matter now did it? [2/4] Hitoshi started first by practicing the hand seals without including chakra. Since this was a B-rank jutsu it would be much more difficult than the rest to learn, so he figured it would be best to go slow. Hitoshi continued to go through the hand seals until he was confident enough to add in some chakra. [3/4] He really didn't want to do it, but he targeted his wind clone with the jutsu. The clone, which had just been getting its breath back, quickly began to freak out. Hitoshi grimaced at the sight, and quickly dispelled the clone. Watching himself suffer like that was a surreal experience. [4/4] Mujuuryoku no Jutsu [ Zero Gravity Technique ] Learned
This was the last one! Who would have known there were actually some pretty good Genjutsu that created illusory clones? Hitoshi had decided to go big or go home in this case though, and decided to pick what he thought was the best one. [1/4] The Hydra Clone technique was of course a clone jutsu… just with one caveat. The clone it created was just like that of the mythical hydra. He who strikes the clone down would do nothing but create another, causing the clones to multiply more and more as the battle raged on. [2/4] It was an effective jutsu that would cause one's opponents to wear themselves down with little to no interference from Hitoshi necessary. Hitoshi began by practicing the hand seals to it, confident that he would be able to get it soon. He was correct, and in no time had a mirror image of himself standing before him. [3/4] It was time to test it out now. Lifting a kunai, Hitosh threw it at the clone. The clone was struck right in the shoulder… only to turn into a cloud! The cloud split apart into two, and then the two clouds once again took the form of Hitoshi. Once again a success! [4/4] Hyudora Bunshin no Jutsu [ Hydra Clone Technique ] Learned
Headband firmly secured on her forehead, Sena walked into the confines of the dojo with her typical non-emotive stare. Foots steps pattered lightly against the floor as she tried to find an unoccupied space however it seemed as if most of the practice rooms were entirely unavailable. So she gave up on finding an empty space and settled for the relatively unoccupied. Within there was two people, they similar but she wasn't sure. Most people looked similar to her, with only their most distinguishing features sticking out to her brain. Unflinching gold eyes peered at them in silence for a moment before they minded their own business.
If the pair within the space was paying attention to the no pants weirdo that had entered their space they might have hear a sickening crack as the girl dislocated her own shoulder. A wince of pain broke across her otherwise still face as chakra flowed to the wounded area. More creaking and cracking followed her skin occasional seemed to move on its own as if the muscle underneath was being pushed around. [1] Then the skin at the top of her now dislocated right shoulder began to bulge and stretch as something pushed against it. Suddenly the skin burst with a sickening sound as a hilt made of bone erupted through it. He left hand took hold of that hilt to draw it out and reveal an entire blade made of bone. [2] When it was all fished her right arm hung loosely as the broken skin seemed to pull itself back together. A moment later her arm seemed to gain its rigidity as she began to play with and stretch the limb out. Then she suddenly began to stab wildly with the bone bade in left hand. [3] A plethora of stabbing attacks all thrust at different angles seemed to form kind of practice. Maybe she was just ******** around, who could tell with this girl. In the end she did seemed to be able to pretty consistently keep stabbing. [ Learned Tsubaki no Mai ]
Suddenly she turned to the pair within the room and spoke to them with a flat affect. "Pisces." That seemed to be all she was going to say until it suddenly happened again, "Did you graduate recently as well?" With how she positioned her body and where here eyes were looking, the girl seemed to be talking to the two of them at the same time.

The appearance of another person, for all intents and purposes, inside of their space interrupted the pair. They needed a break regardless though so they put down the Naginata and began inhaling through the nose, and exhaling from their lips. Jay walked away, towards where the lockers were in the dojo, while Jay walked in a small circle, bursting with energy as usual. However, she did watch the girl when she could, taking note of how it was possible for her to seemkingly pull a bone from her arm. When it was all the way out... Jeon-Gyeon had stopped pacing around in a circle. She watched with a somewhat enamored expression. "Cooooool," she blurted out right before the woman finished her training. When she turned back, Jay had just arrived to here her say Pisces. Jay rose an eyebrow with a smirk while Jeon, who smiled brighter than a flashlight, waived on their behalf. "Hi Pisces! I'm Jeon-Gyeon, and this is Jay! Nice to meet yah buddy. We graduated a long time ago actually, but we haven't been super involved in the shinobi-ing. We do a lot of work in the hospital... even though we don't have medical shinobi prowess. But, congratulations on your graduation!"

Merry hissed (wait, what?) at the monitor lizard that was looking at him with eyes that clearly belied her thoughts. Scared? As if. After showing the lizard who was boss, the lamp haughtily turned away and pranced behind his tamer, who was following Xion to her self-designated spot.
"I will be training my chakra first," Xion informed her little assistant.
The assistant nodded complacently. Mary seemed to be a woman of few words.
Of course, Xion couldn't see the nod, but she took the silence to mean confirmation.
❥ Basic Training: Meditate Chakra and Stamina Pool [+20] Genin Minimum The shinobi is just beginning their descent into the vast world of chakra control and manipulation. For this training segment, the shinobi is to practice handsign performance and chakra movement and settlement. • This Training Can Be Repeated Twice. • [5] Post Minimum. Xion settled comfortably, seating herself on the ground cross-legged in the universal position of preference for those who wanted to relax yet remain alert. Her wrists rested upon her legs, and her hands hung loosely from that spot. Fingers clasped together at the vertical center of her body. Xion started by letting the tension flow out, erasing any unneeded exertion of chakra or stamina. [1/5]
The world around her was vibrant. Motion and noise could be felt from every corner of the academy. Now that she was quiet and her mind blank, Xion could feel it all the more. She took a deep breath. She sighed a deep breath out. She took another deep breath in. [2/5]
When she gently released another deep breath, this one seemed to last longer than the previous, she drew her thoughts away from even the world outside. The choice was intentional and with reason, yet, it still left her shocked. Even as she pulled herself into inward reflection, her thoughts still clung to the life and movements of the world outside. It did not sit with Xion well to not be privy to her surroundings. She did not enjoy being blind, or at least her type of blind. [3/5]
Inside there was a whole different world for Xion to explore. What she could feel in others, she felt in herself. This wasn't her first time feeling her own chakra and stamina in detail. However, it was a rare occurrence for her to pay them this much heed. Again, this type of inward focus did not sit well with her. [4/5]
Nevertheless, she persisted. She explored her chakra routes and the muscles that held her stamina. She became familiar with her networks and her body. The move and flow of her energy as well as how they would stop and rest, pooling before moving. She just passively watched and learned. [5/5]
She had become familiar with the ebb and flow of her energy. Now that she knew how her chakra and stamina moved in their natural state without outside influence, Xion began to edge her influence into her networks. She poked and prodded experimentally her and there. [1/5]
Her chakra and stamina reacted appropriately. Where she called for her chakra, the energy would pool into that spot. Xion had always found it easy to control her chakra. It was probably the trade-off for her pitifully weak body. [2/5]
Her stamina was just like her chakra. She had a pitiful amount, certainly, but it followed the same principles. It was, in the end, just a form of energy. The innate differences between chakra and stamina did as well Xion's lack of experience in the usage of stamina did make it slightly harder. However, easy was easy. [3/5]
Stamina required movement of the body. Xion would need to stand and go through martial stances to truly stamina movement and settlement. What she did now, with mental pokes and prods, didn't really fully emulate what happened when she actively fought. However, at the same time, Xion knew no martial stances. She never really had any experience fighting, and she didn't have any plans to in the future. [4/5]
In other words, she ignored further training her stamina control. What she had done with it was good enough. However, chakra was another matter. Chakra was her lifeblood in a fight. Her hands, still clasped together, began to shift and perform, running through the various hand seals for the next few minutes. First, it was simply the order of the seals. Then, it was in patterns that reflected the various techs Xion learned. As her fingers moved, so did her chakra network in reaction to the seals, and Xion trained. [5/5]
❥ Basic Training: Performance Chakra and Stamina Pool [+10] Genin Minimum After delving into chakra manipulation and emergence, the shinobi should be sure that chakra is releasable. By simply performing a series of techniques that consume chakra, they are furthering their chakra control. • This Training Can Be Repeated Twice. • [3] Post Minimum. Xion emerged from her inner universe and her senses returned to the outside world. There were sounds and sensations abound. Xion could feel something human-size and lamb-sized near her, but as she couldn't be sure, she called out, "Mary?".
"Here," the sweet girl's voice all but sang in response.
"Could you read all of the E-rank eiseijutsu techniques?" Xion requested, readying her mind for the deluge of information. She would kill two birds with one stone, filling out her knowledge of techniques while also honing her chakra release.
Mary nodded, but again, it wasn't like Xion could see. This time, though, verbal confirmation was given, in the form of Mary reading what Xion requested. Genshi [ Thread ] Rank: E Official Description: Threads and veins, connects severed flesh back, vein to vein. In doing so, less flesh is reduced to scarring, which allows for a shortened amount of healing time needed. Does not provide actual healing, aside from connecting the major veins, meaning that some bleeding still occurs and more acute healing techniques are needed. Guild Description: The E-rank version is good for little scratches and pokes, the B-rank version for a finger's length, and the S+rank version for a hand's length. Does not need concentrated focus to do, and so is good for emergencies. While Mary read through the techniques and their instructions one by one, Xion followed along by learning each technique, one by one. The E-rank techniques, by nature, were simple even in their chakra manipulation. Really, all the hardest part, starting from jutsu number one, was finding something to practically train the technique on. Genshi, also known as Thread, was a technique meant to stitch together wounds. The only wounds that needed stitching were deep, larger, or both, nothing that Xion wanted to inflict on anyone, much less herself. There was also the issue of veins. Even if she were to practice on her clothes, which she didn't want to because that would ruin them, she would not be able to emulate veins. In the end, Xion ended up practicing on her perfectly fine arm, working through the motions of stitching skin and veins. So long as her arm remained fine, which it did, then she was performing the technique correctly, which she was. [1/1 jutsu] [1/3 mission] Gien to Kairan [ Donation and Circulation ] Rank: E Official Description: A technique to attach one person to another, via chakra and stamina transfers. Akin to direct blood donations, this jutsu gifts an immobile, unconscious patient energy, and then circulates it to prevent chakra stagnation. Useful most often when one's entire Tenketsu have been shunted for a lengthy time, or the spirit has been ripped forcefully from the body, to prevent the physical body from dying. Guild Description: Each rank trained for provides half of its rank of chakra or stamina to the patient, with the other half used to circulate it in the body. The user is highly vulnerable during this time, with interruptions causing the target to be transferred from to possibly black out from pain. Can be used on self. Gien to Kairan was intended to circulate chakra in a foreign body by using the user's body as a pump of sorts. Xion could not practice this technique on herself or else it would just be basic chakra circulation. The challenge of this technique, what little it presented, was in controlling the chakra in one's body so that it correctly influenced the chakra in the other's body to circulate. Xion's hand waved around helplessly above the ground in front of her, trying to find maybe some stray animal. Mary noticed this and, in her usual silent manner, motioned Merry to lay besides Xion without skipping a beat in her instructions. Xion, upon feeling the soft wool of the lamb, accepted the help and ensured that she was able to pump her chakra into another while circulating it to prevent stagnation in the case that Merry couldn't circulate his own chakra. [1/1 jutsu] [2/3 mission] Itami Gekka [ Pain Intensification ] Rank: E Official Description: Pain, the body's way of signaling danger, affects the mind in more ways than one. Lasts for several posts, the effects lessening as time goes on. At S+rank, no amount of non-chakra medication will detract from the effect. Pain Intensification, Itami Gekka, was a jutsu that did not sound nice at all. Starting from the moment Mary recited the name, dread already began to fill Xion, dread about how she was possibly going to practice this technique. Then, she realized that she could just practice it on herself and all was right with the world. The hand seals were cast. The chakra was moved. The ball of harmful eisei chakra seeped into Xion's skin and suddenly, even the way the cloth of her dress rubbed on her felt slightly irritating. Not quite painful, it was just fabric on skin, after all. However, it was clear her pain receptors had become more sensitive, and very quickly, Xion ended the technique. [1/1 jutsu] [3/3 mission] Ketsueki Juutai [ Blood Stagnation ] Rank: E Official Description: Ketsueki Juutai causes varying amounts of internal damage in the form of bruising. At each rank before S+ (i.e. lethal), the structure, strength, and area size increase. Pain increases at each point, typically causing unconsciousness at S-rank. For further information, please see this exhaustive page: Bruising. Guild Description: See official description. There really wasn't any other way Xion could see to train this technique. She was going to have to, once again, use her own body. Recalling the hand signs that Mary just read off the scroll while keeping track of the details she was still in the middle of giving, Xion cast the seals and channeled her chakra into her hands. The chakra flowed from both hands to rest only in one hand, and there in that hand, the jutsu was placed on Xion's upper arm. She could feel and hear it, the flood of her blood slowing heavily. At only E-rank, the blood did not stop completely, but it caused enough damage that Xion could feel the bruise. Once confirmed, she quickly ended the technique. [1/1 jutsu] [1/3 mission] Suji dageki [ Muscle Shock ] Rank: E Official Description: An ability designed by medical ninja to perform attacks at a lower level so they would be able to defend themselves slightly. This attack simply provides a tazer like shock to an opponent that causes their muscles to tense all at once. This immobilizes them long enough for the medical nin to retreat or launch an attack of their own. Note that the medical shinobi must be touching their target for this to take effect. Guild Description: See official description. The shock lasts for one post, & doubles for each rank retrained to higher. (max +6) The bruised area, small as it was, hurt. It felt stiff, hard to move, and according to Mary's next technique, Xion was going to make her other arm feel just as bad. Believing in equality between arms, Xion was obviously going to test the Muscle Shock technique on the unbruised arm. Hand seals and chakra were manipulated according to the instructions read by Mary. Then the chakra was channeled into one hand, the hand attached to the bruised arm. That hand, then, made the necessary contact with the unbruised arm. Unlike the previous two techniques, which showed very little reaction to the outside world, Suji Dageki caused Xion to shudder straight up, minimalist shaking buzzing through her body as she felt all the muscles in her body, not just the ones in her arm, tense up. The effects lasted only for a few seconds, though, and the chakra, which had dissipated after the initial burst, was gone. [1/1 jutsu] [2/3 mission] Ningeniro [ Human Color ] Rank: E Official Description: An eiseijutsu typically played by academy students, this technique changes the color of the target's skin, eyes, or hair, using their natural melanin. Many varieties are available, from nearly transparent albino to the deepest of black, from the reds of gingers to the violets of eyes! Is permanent. Guild Description: See official description. Retraining allows for additional colors at once. At A-rank, non-standard colors for specifics, such as green skin or purple hair, are allowed. It was kind of obvious that Xion was a bit preoccupied after her last technique, so Mary had stopped reading. However, after a sort of… accepting wave of Xion's hand, Mary dutifully returned to reading the next technique aloud. Ningeniro changed the color of Xion's body, be it hair, eyes, or skin. Xion, still quite shocked in a pretty literal sense, didn't realize that she wouldn't be able to see for herself whether or not she managed to successfully use this technique. She simply went through the motions of the technique. The chakra and hand seals were on point, despite her distracted state, and Xion's hair suddenly turned a shocking blue. Thoughtful Mary noticed that Xion wasn't all there, so she became Xion's eyes and informed her that the technique succeeded. She also suggested that Xion may want to change back her original hair color as this electric blue did not suit her. What followed was a rather comical series of Ningeniro uses as Xion rotated through enough colors until landing on the white that was her original hair color. Ever had to "feel" what a color was like, or more specifically, what it felt like to change to a certain color? It's not easy. [1/1 jutsu] [3/3 mission] Reimyo Honnui [ Delicate Stitching ] Rank: E Official Description: The user will place their hands against an open wound, releasing chakra from their pores in order to "sew" the injury. The threads formed are more like thin chakra staples than anything else, and can be broken if upset. When the afflicted area is fully healed, the stitches will merely disolve. This technique can also be performed offensively, the user simply hitting the target with a chakra infused hand, creating the threads which can then be tugged and so on. Guild Description: The user creates chakra stitches to either seal wounds or wrap opponents. For each additional rank of chakra the user pays while performing this technique offensively, the number of threads created and their durability increases accordingly. Each Body Rank allows for five [5] "stitches" to be made per utilization of this technique. Mary, after assisting Xion with her small hair fiasco, continued to read through the remaining medical techniques. This next technique, Reimyo Honnui, was another method of stitching. However, it exchanged the ability to tie together blood vessels for the ability to manipulate the stitches, which acted more like staples than threads in this jutsu. Again, using her unbruised and yet undamaged arm, Xion activated the technique, creating staples that painless slipped into her body. They held their shape tightly, giving Xion confidence in their ability to hold a basic wound closed. Pulling her bruised arm up, she found she could also bring her slack and unbruised arm along with it. [1/1] Setsugozai [ Adhesives ] Rank: E Official Description: Biological adhesives are often used in surgical applications, such as skin grafting and for suturing wounds. The composition of these adhesives includes variations of proteins. Fibrin is a commonly used natural “clotting” protein material that is used to help mend damaged vessels and for wound applications. Guild Description: Does not immediately stop bleeding or begin healing, as this is a mid- to long-term medical jutsu, meant to keep stitches, emergency measures, and other such techniques from failing. Healing Hands applied after this, and during the same operation, will reduce its chakra cost by a single rank. Used offensively, can glue living tissue to other living tissue. Retraining only increases the restraint's rank. Adhesives, yet another way for medical jutsu to close parts of the body that were never supposed to be open in the first place. Since Xion was confident in her ability to close wounds, at this point, she focused mainly on making sure her chakra could adhere to the offensive component of the technique. Before, it was stitches that pulled. Now, it was to glue body parts together. After the final hand seal, the ball of chakra formed once more. Then the ball receded before the hands even moved apart. Instead of placing it elsewhere, Xion had cast the technique on her hands. Clever, right? Now, when she tried to pull her hands apart, which she did, she'd find out right away that the technique worked, which it did. Then she realized not the best idea. [1/1] Teikouryoku [ Power of Resistance ] Rank: E Official Description: A medical nin must always be aware of possibly becoming a victim of whatever their patient is suffering from. With this technique a medical shinobi temporarily increases their resistance to diseases and poisons. It has no effect on diseases or poisons already effecting the medical shinobi, however. This technique improves as the medical nin grows in power and affords greater resistance to a wider range of diseases and poisons. Guild Description: See the official description. The E - ranked version allows for resistances to the light poisons, viruses, & diseases. The B - ranked version allows for resistances to the medium versions. The S - ranked version allows for resistances to the most dangerous versions. Why? Because Mary was moving relentlessly on to the next technique in her calm, steady reading voice. Xion couldn't get her hands unstuck in time to act out the hand signs as Mary read. However, she didn't lose her head over it. She just waited, while struggling with her hands until they pulled apart. Then she played quick catch-up, wholeheartedly appreciating that very long list of common diseases and poisons that Teikouryoku was known to protect from. The technique was easy, as easy as the previous techs. The description was long, by far the longest on the list. Thanks to this combination, she was capable of finishing the technique before Mary moved on to the next on the list. [1/1]
Well, Mary would have, except that was the end of the Eiseijutsu list. Xion, had her hands together and ready to perform the next technique when she heard the sound of a nearby scroll being rolled up. She waited patiently for Mary to say something.
Mary said nothing. Xion could hear her put away the scroll she rolled. The prolonged rustling of paper on fabric told her that Mary was searching for something. Then, Xion heard Mary place some other roll of paper on her lap. She felt the movement of something around the height of where Mary's head would be turn up and face the blind girl attentively, as if waiting for orders.
Xion stared blankly.
Mary waited patiently.
Not sure what Mary wanted despite having figured out that Mary had brought out the next scroll to train from, Xion suggested, "Let's take a break, shall we?" while massaging her sore, bruised arm. Now was a good time. She had finished the eiseijutsu list as well as all of the training missions the secretary had suggested. Well, all of the ones Xion intended to touch. Sparring and combat would be left untouched. Xion wasn't in the mood for that sort of training.

Her eyes blinked once as her head tilted to the side. Confusion maybe? "Pisces is your nicknames, my name is Sena." The bone sword felt light in her hands as she shifted to peer at Jay, The weapon was a bit lighter than expected and it seemed to flail a bit as she moved. Overall it was the length of short sword with a piercing tip and smooth handle for the grip which added to her difficulty in controlling. "I guess that's why I haven't seen you two before." Her voice was flat, lacking in expression much like her face. There was an awkward pause from her before she added, "Do you like food?" The question was without expression or emotion just like all the rest. But she seemed to be intently awaiting the answer. What she'd do in response was probably a toss up too complex to predict. Her attention shifted back to Jeon, apparently unsure of who she should expect the answer from. It was almost like she didn't see them as two separate people. Why? Who could say. From Jay's point of view, he could probably see that Sena's blue nightie was split open on the back side and easily revealed the somewhat elaborate panties she had on.

Jay's eyes mostly stayed on the girl's weapon as she flaied a little, and seemed a little offset by the girl saying their nickname would be Pisces. Neither he nor Jeon really understood why, but judging mostly on appearances and nuances she wasn't someone the pair would try very hard to understand. In fact, appearances alone were a bit off setting to Jay; it wasn't often you saw someone essentially walking around a dojo in their small clothes, at least not that way. Jeon herself was only wearing a tank top over her sports bra and a pair of shorts but he was not so offset by that. It seemed a lot more appropriate. The lack of tone and expression is what bothered Jeon, and it showed a bit in her entire asthetic. The bright smile seemed to dim, and the awkward pause seemed only to embolden the feeling of innocuous aversion she was feeling towards her. However, when she spoke for the third time, Jay was already walking away to grab a scroll, though he heard the other weird question. The intesity of the stare was lost on him, but not Jeon-Gyeon. "Um, yes... I don't think it's biologically sound not to like food actually... do you not?" she responded almost as if she was afraid of where this could possibly be leading.
When Jay returned, he wiggled something between his fingers at the shorter but older sibling. She looked at the name of it as he flashed it to her. Konoha Taijutsu! She had been super excited to begin training in that style since they first arrived, and they were finally at a point physically where they were ready for the stresses learning such a skill could put on their bodies. Also... it was an honestly nice distraction from the woman whom she'd regarded thus far with an askance expression written about her face. She unrolled the scroll, turning back to Sena while Jeon, setting his arms on her shoulder so as to use her as a stand from behind and resting his chin atop her head. "Why the nickname Pisces?" he asked her feeling his body cooling down rapidly from the exercise. They'd need to get back to it soon.

The specific facial expressions Jeon went through were entirely lost on Sena. No meaning was ascribed to such things as far as her brain was concerned. "I like food quite a bit, it's why I work at Edible Creations." She seemed to stop and think for a moment, almost as if trying to recall something. The test the secretary had given her asked a lot of questions about friends, and from what she remembered friends liked to do stuff together. "Would you two like to get something to eat after training?" The question was punctuated by a small cracking sound as the sword in her hand grew larger in size and changed shapes during the growing process. By the time the metamorphosis had stopped there was now a full katana in her hand. Though it was made from bone the way it seemed to glint in the light of the room almost told you it could cut just as easily as steel. Not that the thing was meant as a threat, she merely needed it to conduct some bukijutsu training. To that end she walked over to the wall to retrieve a scroll before unfurling it to the desired section. If her actions carried the appearance of not listening, it was made apparent that she had been when she responded to Jay. "It fits you two well. You act like both halves of a whole. Pisces." To her it must have seemed quite obvious but it probably didn't seem that way to anyone else.

Hitoshi sighed and stepped out of the small pond, scooping up the jacket left on the floor as he did. Thankfully he never fell in the water during his training, so only the bottom of his shoes had gotten wet. He wondered what he should work on now? His chakra natures were Suiton and Fuuton and there were so many choices... no, he'd decide on his Ninjutsu later. For now maybe he'd leave Xion for a bit to go train his body at the dojo. Taijutsu and Genjutsu were his two specialties after all. Ninjutsu would only be used to supplement the two. "Scylla I left the Raiton scroll with... what was her name... right, it was Mary. I left the scroll with Mary, so go over there and keep her and Xion company. PLEASE don't eat the poor girl's lamb. When you're done training Raiton come meet me at the dojo." He then turned his attention to Xion, raising his voice to get her attention since it seemed like she was resting herself. "Hey Xion! I'm going to the dojo for a bit to work on my Taijutsu since it's one of my specialties! Scylla will keep you guys company while I'm gone okay?!" He left Xion to her own devices and went to the dojo.
Hitoshi entered the dojo and quickly went to find the Taijutsu scroll he desired. He'd already decided a long time ago what he would learn. Hsing-I Pakua was a style of Taijutsu that most might think wouldn't suit him, but he thought it would be perfect. It was very aggressive style, focused on speed and power. Its purpose of not giving the opponent a second to rest would certainly mesh well with Hitoshi's debilitating Genjutsu. And its lack of any specific stances meant less restrictions on what he would be able to do at any given time. It was perfect!
Having finally tracked down the scroll, Hitoshi went to find a place where he could train in private. The dojo, however, seemed rather lively today. As he rounded a corner, the distinct sound of cracking bones reached his ears... wait, bones? Curiosity peaked, Hitoshi went to track down the source. If someone was pushing themselves too hard they might need help... although there was a distinct lack of a cry of pain. That thought just peaked his curiosity even more though, and what he eventually found certainly didn't disappoint him. It did confuse him though. That girl was holding something vaguely resembling a katana... but it was made of bone? That was... odd to say the least, but it was also kind of cool. 'She certainly seems interesting so... I wonder if she'd be interested in a match.' He mused as he approached the girl in clear view, only now recognizing the presence of two others. They were vaguely familiar. Maybe he'd shared a class with them at some point. The only thing he could remember for certain though was that they were twins.
Now that he'd gotten closer to them, Hitoshi also realized he recognized the girl with the bone blade as well. She was much more easily recognizable though, considering she didn't wear pants. The thought of that caused Hitoshi's eyes to involuntarily flicker down to her legs. His face turned a light shade of pink, but otherwise he was able to get a hold of himself and turn his eyes back up to her. "You're... Sena right? I believe we were in the academy together. Would you mind at all if I asked where you got that sword of yours?" Hitoshi was a shy guy, but his curiosity was stronger at the moment, causing the stutter he normally suffered with to be completely absent.
Scylla approached Xion and Mary, a bit annoyed at having been left by Hitoshi. Xion seemed like a nice girl and everything... but the lamb! Hitoshi had asked her not to eat the thing but it was right there! It just looked so... delicious. The monitor lizard couldn't help the predatory gleam in its eyes as it looked at the lamb for a few moments before eventually tearing her gaze away. Since her tamer had asked her to be good she would be... but she didn't have to like it. Approaching the raiton scroll Hitoshi had left here Scylla nudged it with her nose then turned to look at Mary, as if she was requesting the academy student to roll open the scroll for her. The scroll was laid near where Xion sat so she laid down next to the blind girl, her tail against her leg. For whatever reason Scylla had quickly started to like the blind girl, so since Hitoshi wasn't here she'd just have to get some companionship from her instead.
Jeon, who was still nose deep in the scroll in a half hearted attempt not to have to show how odd she thought the girl was in her face realized with a flat expression that her brother had, accidentally, grabbed the wrong scroll. Still, she was interested in the skill so she continued reading. So the girl worked at Edible Creations. That struck Jay as pretty neat, and he rose his eyebrows, throwing in his own occupation. "Well, actually, I work as a botanist in the hospital in my free time. I like to make tea there out of orange and ginger that I grow," he offered feeling a bit more friendly, even though the girl still seemed to have the social graces of a grey armchair. Jeon was roused from her reading when the girl offered to go with them to get something to eat when the training was over. Before either of them could answer, the cracking of her sword cut them off and their eyes both darted to the rapidly changing weapon. Once again, an incredulous smile crept onto them both. They'd never actually seen anything of this nature before, but something told them asking the girl about why her bones were plug-and-play, and also changed shape would get them nowhere. Instead Jeon answered the question for them both. "We might be here for a while still, and we have a few things to drop off, but sure we'd be down if you could wait until our training was done!" Jay nodded, seeing the girl walking off as the sentence finished. When the girl was gone, they looked at each other and shrugged. There existed too many crazy ninja for them to take much stock in one over others. Her return came with an answer to Jay's question. He didn't even think she heard him the way she walked away, but when she answered he was left a bit cross. "I guess the Gemini would have been too forward?" he remarked getting off of his sister who placed down the scroll near the edge of the mat after a short walk, and took up the naginata, motioning for him to come as well. "Did you want to go to eat at your job?" he asked sliding his foot under the weapon and kicking it up into the air. He snatched it at the height of the lift, spinning it a bit above his head, then holding it in position beside his sister, a safe distance from the girl.
The two of them focused their chakra into the shaft of the weapon, allowing it to become one with them as they had before. This time, however, they focused on the potential flexibility that their innate ninja magic could instill into the once rigid and firm weapon. For a naginata to bend against something would likely be bad, but for their purpose currently it could prove to be a good thing. The weapon seemed to droop a bit, becoming just as flexible as they needed it to be for the skill they were practicing. Jeon watched as Jay seemed to laugh at something, and her eyes narrowed. Why were boys so universally juvenile?[1/2 of wrap]
For the next portion, which would prove significantly more simple, they merely had to flick the weapon to wrap around something. Trusting each other fully, they took turns holding their arms out for the other to partially wrap the weapon around. It was a crazy risk, but it turned out for the best luckily for their arms. They got the wrap motion mostly down, to a point where they could do it on a moment's notice. In both minds, the cogs were turning, but first, a NEW CHALLENGER HAD APPROACHED. [Wrap]
The twins looked to the new guy, Jeon smiling bright as always, Jay narrowing his eyes from wide open and alert to slightly less intense and more inviting and fun. His face turned pink, seeing the girl's underwear likely. For some reason Jay was used to the sight, probably because Jeon had decided a long time ago she would walk around naked when not connected to him in their small apartment. He was desensitized against naked girls because of it. But in that regard he was the oddball, not Hitoshi for being off put. He spoke to the man, as his sister stood behind him, stepping on her tippy toes to sit her chin on his shoulder. "Would you call me crazy for telling you that she pulled the blade from her shoulder? Really, it was quite the sight to behold," he offered. Jay then waved with both of her hands, one peaking over Jay's shoulders as they both spoke. "Jay and Jeon-Gyeon Park," they offered. Following the introduction, they aimed their spears back at each other, allowing the weapons to lose their rigidity and droop as before. With a shake of their arms, the weapon slowly came back to it;s usual state. This was far too slow, however, so the pair would continue this practice.[1/2 of Snap] In a moment of full focus, they both manged to snap the weapon into its normal state, doing so in such a way that it would have probably harmed something, severely in fact, that it was wrapped around. They tried again, losing a bit of power. Instead of being frustrated by this they persevered. A few more attempts set them at a point where they were comfortable with their ability to potentially break limbs with the force of the attack. [Snap]
The next trick required a hard, stiff polearm in order to be correctly used anda s such the twins allowed their chakra to permeate the weapon once more. They took aim at a nearby armored mannequin and each of them practiced a fluid stabbing motion. This motion was an easy one, but as with all things practice was the thing that led to perfection, and perfection would lead to them not being killed in combat. [1/2] As the young spirit pair finally stabbed into the dummy, they also released all the chakra they had laced within it through the business end. The result was that the mannequin was completely destroyed, armor cracked and insides thoroughly rended apart. To finish out this stage of their training, the twins simply assumed the stance depicted in the style. They spread out their legs, holding the respective weapons in their hands balanced on outstretched arms. For a second they adjusted their posture, ensuring that their backs were straight and that they were stable. From there they rotated the polearms masterfully to the outside of their bodies with their weapons' business ends facing outwards. Their opposite hand, now free, extended ahead of them with the hand facing forward and their outermost digits curled down. ♥ Liori's merely nodded to the squidlings request as if it was the easiest thing in the world. "Of course. One mini squid for my little squid, coming right up!" She said with a small laugh as they left the building, dipping her hands into her clay pouches and letting them get to work while she thought on the ink solution. 'So it was just hot water... I'll have to take that shower when I get back I suppose, first gonna need some more clothes though... switch s**t up.' The walk to the academy was widely uneventful and stress free, if you don;t count the constant banging of drums in her forehead that is, the squidling helped by just being around. All the while she had part of her mind split off instructing her mending mouths, her warm chakra pooling around around her hands as she worked. If the squidling would have tried to hold one of them they would have noticed an unpleasant level of heat coming off of her hands. As they approached the front door of the main building she halted the squidling by poking her in cheek with a warm finger. "Alright squidling its about ready." She said with a smirk, bringing her hands together in front of the squid, as she pulled them apart the shape of a mighty squid came into sight from her mending mouths. Gripping the top of the squid with her good hand she held it out to the squidling. "Don't worry, I didn't leave any of my chakra in it. Ain't gonna blow anything up if you drop it or anything," She said with a shrug, letting the squid take it in their hands, "Buuuuuuut if you ever want some squid bombs I might be convinced to make some. If yer lucky that is." It would take a lot of convincing to put a bomb anywhere near the squidling but she could trust the kid not to do too much damage to others... It was the squidling she was more concerned with. She pointed to the the side of the building. "I'll be past that corner and by the tree a ways down. Thats where I like to do my training, cant miss it bunch of small craters and a tree over looking the village below. I don't need to pick out any new scrolls, got everything I'd want to train locked up in my brain. So feel free to browse as long as you need squidling." She explained, ruffling the girls hair lightly before making her way to familiar ground. She was excited to watch the squidling train, she was used to the dirt and fire when she trained, but the squids seemed to have an affinity for using water. A breath of fresh air so to speak, might spark some ideas in her aching brain. Sena was feeling something in the region of pleased when Jeon accepted the offer to eat together. It couldn't hurt, and it felt like the kind of things people who are friends do so it should please the village. The girl wasn't really sure how this process worked but things seemed to be going well enough. "That is agreeable. Gives me time to train as well." Those gold eyes of hers then shifted to look at Jay so that she could answer his questions. However she seemed to almost look at him like he was the crazy one when the suggestion of gemini came up. In her mind the two often acted a one whole. Gemini was a pair of twins, not the same thing. However it passed and she skipped right on to the second question without actually answering the first. "That would be fine, it will save me travel time."
She was about to go about her training when a newcomer appeared. Sena sort of recognized him but she wasn't certain. Then he used her name so it was pretty safe to say that they'd met already. Looking at the boy she recognized the color and shape of his hair since it reminded her of flames."Hello Fir....." she started to say in response to Hitoshi before something apparently clicked within her brain. "Hitoshi" In this case the nickname fire had prompted her to remember that his first name started with hi so she was then able to scrape the rest together and use his actual name. The transition might have been more awkward but the twins informed Hitoshi of where the blade came from and then also introduced themselves.
That was convenient because Sena wanted to try another trick. Ignoring her taijutsu scroll for now she dropped her bone blade to the floor and raised both hands up at wooden dummy near a far wall. Chakra well up in her finger tips as the bones within popped free of their connections and began to rapidly spin. [1] Suddenly those finger bones shot forth, tearing the skin at their exit point as they were unleashed into the air. The bone bullets impacted the wooden dummy in the blink of an eye. A satisfying thwack coupled the simultaneous impact of the ten "bullets" as they bore several inches into the hard wood. [2] Apparently pleased with the results Sena retrieved her sword as the bones quickly replaced themselves and and the holes in her finger tips closed up. [Teshi Sendan]
Her golden eyes seemed to focus on Hitoshi, awaiting something by the looks of her body posture. Maybe she intended that little show to be for his benefit or maybe she was simply waiting to see what he wanted before she resumed training. The thought that he could also be her friend, didn't even occur to the girl.

Hitoshi quirked an eyebrow, confused about what Sena had been about to call him but glad she had at least gotten his name right in the end. Unlike someone like her who stood out for... obvious reasons, he was one who tended to blend into the background. So the fact that she was able to recognize him meant that at least something about him must have stood out. The boy didn't really think he was anything special though, but it didn't really matter. He was just glad he wouldn't have to re-introduce himself... wait, did the male twin just say she'd pulled the sword out of her shoulder?
His eyes swiveled over to the pair, disbelief evident in his eyes. "I, uh, well... honestly I would have to say I find that very hard to believe." The boy and his sister went on to introduce themselves as Jay and Jeon-Gyeon Park. Now those names were familiar. Hitoshi was certain now he had been classmates with these two at some point. He nodded his head towards them in greeting. "Yes I do believe we were classmates at some point. Hitoshi Ito. I was the one with the pet lizard. Nice to meet you both Jay-san, Jeon-san." He didn't say much more to them though as they quickly resumed their training. Spears. An interesting weapon for a shinobi, but they both appeared to be talented with the weapon. Hitoshi felt a small spark of excitement as he watched them, already desiring to test himself against them.
He didn't watch them for long though. He returned his attention to Sena as she dropped her blade, the sound drawing his attention back to her. It took considerable effort, but he refrained from looking at her legs again. He did wish the girl would put on some pants. Crouching down next to the blade he got as close as he dared in order to inspect it more closely, not wanting to actually touch it since even he knew that might be considered rude. "So this sword came... out of your arm then?" He lifted his head to look at the girl, still not quite able to believe it. The sword was too long! Too sharp to be from the girl's arm. The girl quickly made him a believer as she riddled a training dummy with... bone bullets though. So... it was a kekkei genkai then?
When he stood back up Sena's eyes were again fully trained on him, and he could feel the small spark of excitement from earlier flickering into a burning flame. His lips turned up in a smile he just couldn't help. Being the weakling he thought himself to be, he constantly wished to fight stronger and stronger opponents. Even if he was weak, it was the best way for him to become stronger. "Well that's... surprising. I suppose this means you must have a kekkei genkai then. I'm afraid to say that there isn't much special about me," he confessed as he turned his full attention to the girl in front of him, the twins mostly forgotten in the face of this new development. He really wanted to fight these three, but he was about as socially awkward as they came. Looks like he'd just have to go with the direct approach. "You are very interesting though, so I have a request if you don't mind. You see, training solo has been incredibly boring, and to be honest I've been feeling antsy ever since I received this headband. Would you be willing to spar with me?" He raised his voice and turned his head towards the twins so they'd hear this next part. "And you two as well. How about it? A fight between the four of us sounds like a great way to work up an appetite right?"
Jay and Jeon were not too off put that the boy had taken more interest in the sword in the slightest, and in fact they were glad that they were both respectful of the space,allowing them to focus on practice while they talked to each other. The pair were no longer doing specific training, rather they were practicing the whole of things they had just learned. The duo faced the wall perpendicular to the backs of their new friends, moving in unison and attacking with precision strikes that seemed to be only improving the more they called out skills and whipped them out. Jeon's eyes were occassionally distracted, glancing at the scantily clad woman and the somewhat plain looking boy. When he agreed with Jay, the pair of them shrugged and continued practicing.
He seemed to be nice enough, and to the duo, he certainly looked like a nice guy. His headband signified, to Jeon moreso than the somewhat harder to adhere to (if not by much,) that he was someone to be aided and protected. His assertion that the girl must have had a kekkei genkai had also struck the duo. Neither of the duo seemed to know exactly what the kekkei genkai was, but they were sure it was something rare. It had to be! The both of them licked their lips, tasting the salt of a bit of sweat when he said there wasn't much special about him. Jeon interjected. "Don't say that. Not being born with a leg up doesn't mean you aren't special. Everyone is special!" Jay's focused face chipped apart and he broke his stance, taking a posture that signaled he agreed with a nod. As for his next question, the twins looked at each other and chuckled a little. "We've been at this a while, you know, so we know how boring training can indeed be. But you should know, we aren't really... well in a way... ugh maybe we should just show them." Jeon seemed giddy as she held a fist back like she was going to punch. Jay spread his legs, preparing for the battle. They shook their hands and called out as loud as they could: "GAWI BAWI BO!" On the last of the foreign syllables the pair sent their fists flying at each other, stopping in the middle with a bit of wind from the force of their attacks. In the end, Jeon had thrown a "Gawi" while Jay had sent up a "Bo." Rock versus scissors. Jeon won. She exclaimed in joy and bounced up and down while he seemed disappointed. "Always go rock," she began chidingly. "Until you don't I know shut up and get ready." The two of them cleared their throats as a sudden and very loud musical overture played. They spread out a bit, spreading legs before punching a fist towards each other. One step closer and they threw a leg through the air in a masterful kick. As it came down they spun and leaped into the air closing the distance and ramming their fists together with a loud "WHEEEEEE" echoing from them as a bright light flashed and the two were encompassed by a burst of gas and a bright light that seemed to come from nowhere. When it cleared, only Jeon was left, a tuft of hair and npart of her brother's head all that was left of him protruding from where her neck met her back.
She seemed almost eleven thousand times more confident than she had been ebfore, but she coughed, waiving the smoke away. She looked, confused, to see a person practicing the Joorai style. That explained the smoke, she turned around, seeing a light kekkei genkai practicing as well. As for the deafening music they turned with a glare to see a group of performers had blown out a wall with their ninjutsu. With that done, she turned back to the other, giving them a bit of warning before she went nuts on them. She slid her legs apart and held two open hands. She began to move side to side, a little forward and backwards as well. Her goal was not to confuse but to show she was ready. She licked her lips once more, a smile forming on her face. There was ten feet of distance, that much she gathered easily. From the look of his body, he was likely no stronger than they were, especially after the day's training. If she could keep moving, keep them on their toes, there was no way, to her, they could keep up with the spirit duo. Not playing their game anyway. A whisper over her shoulder threatened, but didn't break, her focus. She shushed him. She wouldn't try to hurt them, obviously.

"The teachers called it Shikotsumyaku (Dead Bone Pulse). Apparently I am a Kaguya." Her answers were flat as usual. Apparently the addition of another person did little to change her outward expressions. However then something a little odd happened. As Hitoshi mentioned the word 'spar' the muscles on her face twitched into something bordering on a half smile. Such a thing brought a soreness to her cheeks as she hardly ever smiled, or frowned for that matter. It also expressed the rush she felt before fighting. With the time to train over, Sena kicked her training scroll to wall and turned her bone blade into dust. Having changed its form post creation so knew it was no good for an actual fight.
While the twins were engaging some kind of silly flashy show Sena began to work the bones within her body. Chakra stimulated her bones to begin growing in size and changing shape. While at the same time her ,uscles began to shift around them. [1] Obviously this allowed her body to continue function as normal in spite of her crazy anatomy. At her shoulders, wrist, and knees she inspired her bones to grow. The ends became sharp needled but the length was cylindrical with a diameter like a pipes. [2] Slowly these bones extended in length until they began to break the skin. The others would see them emerge at her palms, knee caps, shoulder blades, and elbows. In the end Sena dropped into a low stance, almost like a crouch. [3] Yanagi no Mai [ Dance of the Willow ]
Depending on how skilled either was in the more martial skills, Jeon and Hitoshi might have been able to identify that at present Sena seemed to be in a defensive stance. Though obviously the sharp and pointy end of her bones served as reminder that she was kind of like a cactus. Approach her wrong and one might be liable to get stabbed. Whether or not they thought she would was probably up them but that being said she was the no pants girl that talked weird and had just given a creepy half smile at the idea of sparring.

Everyone was special huh? Hitoshi wasn't so sure about that. If anyone was special, it most certainly wasn't him, and he made sure to voice that opinion. "No no no. You don't understand, you see," he walked away from Sena to put some more distance between them, his words however were directed at the twins. "I'm not special at all. Far from it. I'm just a normal guy with no talent," he said as he came to a stop, about ten meters of distance equally between him, the twins, and Sena now. They were standing in a kind of triangle formation now, and at this point the twins had already combined their bodies into one, while Sena was going through her own transformation. "And besides, it's easy for you to say that when you yourselves are also special."
Now it was time for him to go through his own... kind of transformation. It wasn't nearly as impressive as his opponents, being just a regular Ninjutsu. No weird biology here. Hitoshi began by creating the hand signs for the Hachi Shokushu [ Eight Tentacles ] technique. [1/3] This was his first time using the jutsu, but it was just a simple D-Rank. Using the moisture in the air, he started forming eight extra limbs on his back. These limbs started out short, looking like they would just be a couple normal arms, but quickly they began to grow longer. [2/3] When all eight limbs were fully grown, they were revealed to be octopus tentacles. Each tentacle was approximately six feet long, and eight-to-ten inches thick. The tentacles curled protectively around him, blocking his front completely from both Jeon and Sena. [3/3] Hachi Shokushu [ Eight Tentacles ] Learned
Hitoshi chuckled lightly, glad this jutsu had gone well and not failed embarrassingly. Putting his fingers to his lips, he let out a piercingly loud whistle. "SCYLLA!" he cried out as loud as he could, "Get over here! WE HAVE A FIGHT!"
The water monitor had been reading the scroll of raiton jutsu rolled out before her when she heard her name called. A fight? Her master had finally found someone worth fighting! The lizard bound quickly to her feet, rushing off in the direction of Hitoshi's voice. When she got there she stopped beside her master, who had already created two Kaze Bunshins, neither of which had the tentacles present on the original's back.
Hitoshi smiled down at his partner for a moment before looking up at his opponents. Now... was the interesting part. Who would make the first move? And who would go after who? Since these three had been together before he came up he had to consider that they might decide to team up against him. If that was the case, didn't want to make the first move and risk leaving himself open to the other. He'd simply wait for now and see what they would do. That was normal for him anyways.
