Just like that the battle was beginning. "The names Giovanni Versechi and I'm here to prove that Steel can't be bugged out!" a thumb shot up and swiped his nose as he flipped his hat around to finish prepping for the battle. "Your Up first Magnemite, lets speed our way through this! Hit em with an Electro Ball" the Magnemite with its new Choice Scarf buzzed at a much faster speed flying around clearly showing itself to be the faster Pokemon before stopping and pushing its two magnets together and blasting off a gaint ball of electricity towards the Bug Type in front of it.

-]Cerbera was quite happy to watch the first battle, her anticipation building as it began. Her Pokedex came out immediately, seeing what that interesting little bug pokemon was. It was certainly cute, whatever it's name. Fitting for such a pretty trainer to have a cute pokemon like that. She decided that Gym Leaders were definitely an impressive lot, and it was no wonder that they were regarded so highly. "A pleasure, Giovanni," Viola chirped before she lifted her camera to snap a picture of the Magnemite he sent forth. An electric and steel type, that would be tough against her own dual types, water and flying never dealt well with electricity. But! She'd never doubted her pokemon before, there was no reason to do so now! "We'll have to see how well your steel-types manage, but they're certainly picturesque," she complimented and snapped a picture of Magnemite just to prove this. Viola placed her camera back down and the battle began, Gio calling for his pokemon to use Electro Ball. "Oh my," she couldn't help but to exclaim as the little steel-type buzzed about at a speed that neither she, nor her camera, could keep up with, let alone Surskit. Viola made the mistake of blinking and in the next second a yellow light filled the air and her little water-skater was unconscious.
"What a speedy little pokemon you have!" Viola observed, disappointed in the fact that her pokemon had fainted and that she'd been unable to capture the moment on film. The gym leader recalled her pokemon with a murmur of thanks, before she sent out her Vivillion.
