Ah, so Kaileer had something to handle? It didn't really disturb Soraru at all, in fact, he found himself preferring it that way. He initially planned to train knew techniques in the midst of battle, but solo training in the meantime was something he was more used to. He couldn't help but give a smirk when the Raikage gave that obviously non-attentive grin. Was it years of needing to be polite to everyone that conditioned him to react like that? Didn't seem to be the insincere type. Blunt, honest, but rather uncaring of the oppositions own concerns on how he spoke. That's the way Soraru viewed the kage so far. Along with that, the loud enough mention of Kaileer doubting himself was caught by his ears, whether he had been intentionally eavesdropping or not. Wasn't too surprising. Kid was about as old, if not younger than the samurai himself. No way did he really have the mental and emotional conditioning to uphold a large village like Kumogakure without a hitch.
Oh well. Wasn't his business anyways. Deciding to cut out the rest of the world for a moment, Soraru focused on his training. First and foremost were two things that needed to be done. Before anything else, he crossed his fingers over each other into the "clone" seal, and expended the chakra necessary to create shadow clones of himself. They came as they usually left, from the appearance of a wispy cloud forming into a being. His being. There were four clones in total, each of them looking exactly like him, all carrying a blade of their own. In order to differentiate himself from the rest of them, he walked back over to where he dropped his original sword and picked it up....then he tossed aside the wooden bokken. He'd use that for the spar with Kaileer, but not for his own personal training. Didn't feel right. Before strapping it in with his obi, he took the village headband which he usually kept on the hilt. Putting it in the proper place, on his forehead, he used it so that his clones, and any potential spectators would be able to tell him apart from the creations he made.
And so he started his assault on the poor clones. rushing forwards, one hand hold the scabbard which held reito kumo, while the other remained low, near the hilt, prepared to attack. As he approached the nearest clone, he used all of the training he competed in his lifetime for Iaijutsu, his hand pulling at the hilt, drawing the blade into an outwards horizontal cut within half a second. The strike met steel, which didn't surprise him all too much. Any clone with even a fraction of his intelligence would've known to block that strike. Nonetheless, it was all the contact he needed to push off and continue the momentum into a spin, crouching his body low into the process. Once he was completing the spin, his body launched into a jump, reaching quite a bit over his own height in order to spin once more in the air freely, this time vertically, his blade coming down onto the head of his clone. [ Battoujutsu: Dragons on the Horizon - Learned ]
At least, that would be the case if things were more simple in life. The clone raised its sword above its head , one hand at the hilt with the other at the blunt end of its own katana in a horizontal block. Forcing chakra into his blade, Soraru slid his blade alongside the other one, lifting himself more into the air as the blades left one another, before the process repeated. Once, twice, faster, faster. By the time the third, fourth, and other onward strikes were happening, Soraru was a fast, swirling mass of red, blue, and black, and he had turned a bit so that he was more sideways in the air than vertical, not yet knowing how to handle that kind of speed he was distributing in the air. After the sixth strike, he slowed down, knowing how he could correct his stance. Rather than the blade coming down next, it was Soraru's hand forcing down onto the face of his clone, using his tremendous momentum to send it to the ground, while he gained the last small boost to spin once more into the air, fixing his position and going vertical, before bringing his blade down in a vertical slam onto his fallen prey. The clone, taking the attack, dispersed like a cloud. [ Continuation Ichi: Vertical Fangs - Learned ]
He only had enough time to sheathe his weapon before two of his clones came at him together, one already grabbing onto his right arm while the other sent a punch for his gut. He replied by grabbing onto the opposing wrist before the fist could make contact, and raising his left leg in a kick, landing it in the side of the clone in front of him and managing to back it off of him. Following that momentum, he turned his body with the kick, and then performed a rather harsh headbutt to the clone gripping his arm, his forehead protector likely doing some damage. With his arm free due to a dazed clone loosening its grip, Soraru flourished from draw stance once more, extending his weapon while both hands gripped the hilt in an outwards straight thrust. Even with the dazed clone having enough ability to draw its own weapon, the strike proved too fast, and shot clean through the air with the loud sound of steel. [ Battoujutsu: Void Lunge - Learned ]
Piercing the clone with ease, the young samurai didn't waste time with his followup strike. His scabbard swung forwards in his movement, and he lowered his left hand to grab onto it, before moving forwards and delivering a hard slam into the clones throat. After so much punishment, it faded as an airy cloud on impact. leading to another one being dealt with. [ Continuation Nii: Rising to the Surface - Learned ]

༺ Honō Hokori༻ [ "A shinobi who succumbs to their nature is a shinobi lesser than I." ]
༇ So it was witnessed...
Honō had kept his lowered, arms starting to shake - in nerves? The strain of holding out the blade at full length? - as he waited for... whatever would come next. A reprimand, a disspointed sigh - was it such a grave insult to warrent a physical punishment? Honō would only do his best to mentally prepare himself, to accept the reprecussions without complaint - and don't flinch away! He should be able to prevent himself from flinching away by now... Still, Wanroku wasn't saying anything, and Honō's slight shaking wasn't calming down. Even his breaths were an uneven rattle in his lungs. A shifting of cloth and leather had the silver-haired genin holding his breath, doing his best to stop his shakes enough to allow the man to take the blade easier. With stiff arms and aching shoulders, Honō waited... but the blade remained in his care - why? Honō gasped in a breath, quiet, shocked, at the sudden contact of his hands being touched - being held gently, the fingers guided to fold over the hilt blade. What is - I don't understand...
Green eyes blinked, shoulders sagged, and Honō finally tilted his, hesitating halfway, to look up to Wanryoku. Honō blinked again, suddenly overwhlemed by the depth of emotions he could see lapping over Wanryoku. Had Honō done this...?! But, despite the obvious sadness of past memories that the Genin had somehow unveiled within the gentle man, Wanryoku looked... at peace with something? Had the advisor also been relieved of some kind of burden, like Honō had found in their interactions? Honō felt himself strighten at the first words Wanryoku had said in what felt like an age - the last piece...! And Honō had desecrated it with his - oh. Wanryoku had continued talking, but the verbal stumble... it wasn't a buck, Honō couldn't help the thought. He just... felt it. But Honō remained silent, feeling he should not interrupt this, had no right to even speak after his earlier transgression anyway. Hearing the story, however, only reaffirmed what Honō had earlier felt - this man was a kind person. He valued life, he valued the peace of this world.
The blade shook slightly at the tap Wanryoku had placed upon it, Honō's slender arms not braced enough to have taken the prod without giving in return. Everything Wanryoku was saying, describing his great grandfather, Honō could so easily turn those words into describing the advisor, despite what little time that had spent in each other's company. Was Wanryoku aware of this? Or were his actions in memory of such a benevolent ancestor? Honō blinked at the chuckle, still, silent, and listening intently. The moisture in his eyes had dried, slightly, leaving only a patchy kiss of red across his cheeks and dotted around his eyes. Again, Wanryoku was supporting him, encouraging difference as an hour - of all the heart-warming things to say... Green eyes looked back down to the blade, the single tear drop a still dome on the metal, reflecting light from the sun above - what did he...?! Honō's gaze rocketed back up to Wan, wide and still obviously process what was just said to him. Slowly, like a tree being felled, Honō began to tremble, the red on his face growing and tears returning, before he suddenly slumped into himself - too much, the support and kindness overwhelming. Honō could never refuse - the strength of the offer itself, the trust...!
"May I..." Honō's arms had slowly redacted, craddling the blade closer to himself. What he wanted to ask was such an awkward thing to say - but he felt no other action or string of words could convey his gratitude in thise moment. "May I, uhm, hug you? Wanryoku..."

• Soldering Teammate: Honō will support his teammates by means of supplying weapons, tripping up the opponent, or manipulating the environment to his allies' advantage. Honō will watch his teammate(s) to get familiar with their tells, thus becoming more and more accurate in reading their intentions.
• Sleek Steps: Due to his training in the Hari clan, Honō has no difficulty traversing slippery surfaces, even over uneven terrain.
• Latticino Hands Honō's work has gained him steady hands and the ability to perform minute, detailed work. Finicky work, such as the setting up even the most intricate traps, holds less trouble for him.
Weaknesses: • Cracks: Honō was never trained for proper combat, and as such has a tendency to flee instead of fight, especially when out numbered. When hit with an attack, his urge to flee only increases.
• Jewelled: Honō's choice in clothing marks him out from other shinobi; restricting his movements slightly and hindering most chances at stealth.
• Fragility: Trained in his work instead of his responsibilities as a shinobi, Honō lacks the strength most individuals garner from their everyday training.
Fears: • Broken Shards: Knowing he isn't the most skilled shinobi in the village, Honō fears his teammates will leave him behind if he fails to meet their expectations.
• Shattered: Honō was never the strongest, or masculine, individual in Kumo. He fears this makes him a target of assault; verbal or physical. Whenever he leaves the workshop he is constantly anxious and alert of his surroundings, misreading the words and reactions of the people around him to negatively apply to him.
Class Disciplines : • Legendary Smith The user is able to gain a 5th title rank from every applicable smithing tree. 'Training' for Legendary takes 10 posts of crafting work, provides an additional 1 post off of crafting times, and gives a Grandmaster NPC (of the same area) for usage. In addition, any item solo crafted (without an npc helper) is non-reproducible by non-Legendary titled smiths.
• Balanced Master Any jutsu learned can be paid for with either chakra, stamina, or a mix of the two. Any further chakra types are also subject to this. Recovery amounts for chakra and stamina are doubled while working, and working counts as relaxing.
• Lifetime Disciple This discipline is for those wishing to gain from a lifetime master, never to be one themselves until their master is deceased. Gaining knowledge from over the course of their studies, the disciple will receive twice the benefits from each of their master's smithing trees (up to their completed titles), while in the living presence of them. After their master's death, they will successfully pass on a permanent, one-quarter of the benefit to their own Lifetime Disciple, if any. Personal Attributes: • A Natural's Touch: After long study and a certain knack at birth, Honō has what many people call a "natural talent" for creation of glass objects. Because of this, every third creation is exceptionally superb, granting a 50% increase to profits made from that item.
• Black Glass Mentality: Honō's years of training with Katon [ Fire ] jutsu and glassmaking and mainpulation jutsu has helped him learn a deeper understanding of volcanic glass. As such, his experiments with enchanting any volcanic glass with Gellal has been cut by half.
• Uncanny Aim: Preferring to create and maintain distance between himself and the enemy, Honō has spent a considerable amount of time crafting range weapons, especially throwing weapons. From this he finds himself creating double the expected number every second attempt without the extra cost of material or time.

-----{ H }e understood, the giant mused as he watched closely the reaction from the younger boy. He understood my meaning, and he took the blade. Somehow, that final giving, the acceptance of his most precious gift, brought a peace to his mind that he had not felt since before the UHV had begun their assault several years ago. The pain of those days, the betrayal of Haituro, the death of Nekita, the ice monsters, the storm mountains and finally, now, his people showing up upon the lands of the shinobi. It all brought such stress, anxiety, and fury that it had slowly began to eat away at his mind, heart and soul much like poison. With this final offering, the giant was accepting his past, and finally, at long last, moving on from it into something...more. He would no longer allow his shortcomings to come between him and his duty, and would allow his hindrances to no more stop him from becoming what he was meant to be: a friend to Kaileer, Hono, and the village, and a protector to their homeland. -----Tears welled up within the boy's eyes, and they were mirrored in the moistness of his own ocular flesh. Refusing to cry did not make him manlier, but it helped him control the flood of emotions he was experiencing even as Hono slowly lowered his arms to his stomach to cradle the weapon carefully there. When the boy spoke, and asked his question, revealing his hopes of an intimate embrace, the giant simply couldn't respond verbally, not without choking up. Instead, he merely opened his arms in a gesture of universal welcome, and nodded. As the boy placed his weapon to the side and lunged, Wanryoku would take him up into a tight, gentle hug, arms clasped around him to show the support and care that his own mother had given him. ----- Somehow, it just felt right! ----- It was difficult to let go after what felt like several minutes, but he would raise his eyes to Kaileer with an expression of a strange mix of joy and peace. When he spoke his tone might have carried a hint of his tearful emotions, but anyone who brought it up might well receive a punch in return. "Our Raikage wants a word with me now, Hono. Please, remember, and know you are friend forever more. If need anything, come to me, and I help. I swear it." With that he would release his grip, and allow the boy to extract himself at his own pace. When he did the young man would find that same smile upon Wanryoku's face, and the air of one who offered thanks without words. ----- -----

༺ Honō Hokori༻ [ "A shinobi who succumbs to their nature is a shinobi lesser than I." ]
༇ So it was witnessed...
Honō was trembling in the supportive hold Wanryoku had on him, a huge smile tucked completely away in the broad span of the advisor's shoulder. Wanryoku, the man who had matching moisture in his eyes as they smiled at each other - the very same man who had crashed through the kitchen wall and devoured part of their dinning room table, whom Honō had to roll a whole roast over to and still cook a large feast for, the frozen hulk of a man who had to be dragged over to the fireplace and tend to all while playing host to the Raikage hi- Wanryoku spoke, revealing said Raikage to be apparently waiting on him. Green eyes blinked and Honō pulled back - only to spot the Raikage standing behind the Genin, looking at them both. With a barely supressed squeak of surprise and panic, Honō moved to properly stand beside the still seated Wanryoku to bow, deeply and with pink highlighting his pale ears once more. Years off of his life from anxiety-inducing surprises like these...
"A-Apologies for the trouble, Raikage Kaileer...!" Honō gasped. Had he been so wrapped up in this experience with Wanryoku that the Hari clan member had actually, for the first time in a long, long time, become... non-observant of his surroundings? Strange... a strange feeling, to not be hyper-aware. "I should return to my duties." Honō, somehow, managed to deepen his bow before going to kneel and gently lift the blade that had been so recently gifted to him, craddling it close to his chest as it was something fragile and precious. "Thank you so much, Wanryoku." He spoke softly, a quiet thing, meant for the advisor. With the moment coming to a close, Honō gave a small, gentle smile before taking his leave. He needed to find a way to properly home the blade, and he needed to complete some missions in order to fund the resources he need to make best use of the sealing jutsu Miko had taught him. And there was still the meeting later today, at the Emporium!
So much to do...

And so it continued, although such a thing happened without the use of shadow clones. Soresu, something, or rather someone Soraru knew quite well, given that he based his fake name off of her. It was primarily a defensive style that could switch to offense in the blink of an eye. The woman herself was a Ronin who abandoned her field of duty in order to assist a temple of warrior monks who couldn't defend their place of worship from deserters in the civil war, who aimed to make it their hideout, even if it meant eliminating the current inhabitants. The monks stood there amazed as she single handedly deflected attacks from three well trained swordsmen. Soraru, in the midst of his admiration, repeated the technique. He started off fairly rigid and still, slow in his movement with the sword, but as the seconds passed on, he began to twirl it more seamlessly around his body. The blade spun, circled, twirled around his right side, front, and back. With only a simple turn of his body. he was able to defend the left side, and as he began to move, spin, and twirl along with his blade fluidly, he managed to cover each side of himself in his defense with the blade. [Soresu: Full-Circle Flower - Learned (Trained as A-rank) ]
With the last twirl in his defensive stance, he utilized his other hand, something done so swiftly and subtly that it'd likely go completely unnoticed in combat. As the blade twirled behind his back, his left hand grabbed onto the hilt, and extended outwards in a swift, strong horizontal cut. One which could easily slice a person open, and overall cut them in half if a chakra scabbard gets applied. That movement continued, and Soraru ended up spinning once more, his left hand performing another cut as it came from one more twirl around his back, that one diagonal as he cut into the air. As it was above his head, he spun the blade in his hand more as his body followed suit, right hand coming to grab the hilt at the end of said spin in order to perform a diagonal, downwards two handed strike. With the way his body turned and crouched slightly though, the blade ended up performing another swirl over his head before coming down in one more diagonal strike. That would end up bad for anyone who'd try to sneak in an attack on his back or side though, his hand switching to twirl the blade vertically at his left side, effectively slicing behind himself, and as the steel went downwards, he switched the position in order to make it come down towards his right front side, body turning in the process. With the blade then in his right hand, he was able to lash out with full momentum as he extended the blade in a full circle cut around his body, which followed the movement seamlessly. [ Continuation San: Flower Into Bee - Learned ]
For the finale strike, he didn't actually want to do anything too fancy. The blade gained a chain on its hilt, made of tangible chakra. As if he was feinting the enemy, he made the swift, flicking motion of throwing his blade forwards, however as it flew from his right hand, his left curved around to grab the end of the chain. Following up that was one spin, then two, then a continual motion around his body that resembled the first stage of the Soresu stance. The main difference being that the blade was constantly being spun on its chain, making it look less like a katana and more like a razor sharp, circling creation of death. Very similar to a buzz saw, but without the ridges at the end, constantly covering every potential opening on his body. [ Finale San: Dance of Pollination - Learned (Trained as A rank) ]
The onslaught only ended once Soraru brought his hand from the chain to the hilt, holding the blade in both hands and pointing it towards the ground and dispersing the chakra. It was all to include a different buildup of chakra, one that confused him a bit. He pressed his essence into the blade, but it lit up a sky blue in a chakra scabbard. That wasn't what he wanted....restarting it, he grit his teeth and did the same thing again, bringing the scabbard into being. Drawing a long sigh, he decided to clear his heart and mind for a moment. The matter was that even if he wasn't upholding the tenants of Bushido, he still had all the muscle memory and experience of Tetsu no Ryu, making chakra manipulation a little more tricky. However when he thought of how much he needed to detach from anything and anyone that connected him to his past, along with the fact that he didn't "need" to care about fairness in his fights, his chakra system blended in with his mindset. As if saying "that's right" to him, his blade began to seemingly disappear from view, but under the midday sun, it looked like a blurry creation in his hands. He tested it, giving a slow, smooth slice to the air. The way the blade seemed to hum with power and sharpness let him know that he had definitely gotten it down. [ Edge of Conquest - Learned ]
"Now...onto the strange stuff." He murmured to himself, knowing that he wasn't going to be too comfortable in what his next move was. He didn't want to continue working on the new Bukijutsu style just yet, given that it required another step he wasn't yet prepared for, in order to unlock its full potential. Instead he approached an ever weirder topic to him, Ninjutsu. The first once was simple enough. He formed a simple handsign with his index and middle finger with one hand, while the other swiped in an outwards, horizontal fashion with his blade. The chakra was easy enough to channel, and resulted in a relatively small burst of wind. The kind that could deflect projectiles, if anything. Could prove life-saving one day. [ Shinkūken [ Vacuum Sword ] - Learned ]
The next ability was just as simple for him to manage, although it required a hand sign with both hands. Performing a quick movement of the arm to twirl the blade around once, he finished it by drawing back the movement and sheathing his blade. Such was the way he normally put away his weapon, the twirl usually getting any residue off, even if there was currently nothing there. Putting his hands together, he weaved a quick few signs, those being Bird, Hare, Horse, and Ram, before bringing his index and middle finger to his lips. as if inhaling the chakra from it, he breathed in before moving his hand, exhaling out a swirling vortex of wind, one that he aimed towards an empty area in order to avoid any unnecessary destruction. [ Daitoppa [ Great Breakthrough ] - Learned ]
The next couple techniques that he wanted to learn were...fairly more complicated. It was all a part of his end plan though, something he wanted to put into works for the next time he got into a serious fight. The last time he was in a combat situation, he was unprepared, in the worst proper situation, and above all under equipped to handle what had come to his group. But I don't need to remain so weak. It's about time that I accepted things as they are. I'm a Samurai to Kumogakure, and it's my job to protect this place. To keep the people in it safe. Last time I may have failed, but... His eyes closed, and his hands formed the necessary signs: Tiger, Hare, Dragon. As he held the final sign, gusts of wind began to encircle and raise about his person, with pink flower petals carrying through in the currents. When his eyes opened, they were that glowing, aquamarine blue which always shined through when he built up a large amount of chakra. "I'll be strong enough to handle anything next time." He murmured softly to himself, breaking the seal, resulting in the flowers building up massively in a vortex that carried up into the sky. The kind that could easily send people flying whichever way he desired. [ Hana Chirimai [ Flower Scattering Dance ] - Learned ]

[x] I stared after Hono with a small frown. I hadn't meant to scare the boy off but evidently that's what had happened. I didn't think I was that intimidating If he kept jumping like that at every little thing, the kid was going to put himself in an early grave with a heart attack. Still, he was gone as quickly as he apologized to me--like he'd committed some great travesty by speaking to Wan. I wasn't exactly in a hurry, and wasn't going to interrupt their conversation; Wan had done that for me. It looked like Hono had better places to be anyway, so I shrugged it off and turned my attention to the giant. "I wasn't in a rush." A grin spread across my lips. "Didn't know you were such a big softy." I wasn't particularly happy about his mention of me doubting myself, but I wasn't going to reprimand him for it.
I realized that, for the first time in quite some time, I felt oddly at ease. Maybe it was the spar, or maybe the opportunity to speak to a close friend. When was the last time I'd actually had a half-way decent conversation with him? I honestly couldn't remember. It was hard to see past anything from the last several months, which had been so filled with darkness in my mind I was amazed I could smile at all. But here I was grinning like a fool to Wan.
Pushing the thought aside, my smile faded, albeit not completely, letting a touch of concern show through as I switched to the more serious topic at hand. "You never told me you couldn't use chakra." Dropping the bokken to my side, I sat beside him with a heavy sigh, facing Soraru while he took the break to train. I couldn't help noticing that, next to him now, Wan was taller, and had evidently grown facial hair in the short time I was gone. The latter, I didn't care about but, "Did you seriously get taller?" I looked up at him with a partially feigned scowl, and then forward again. "That was good of you, you know. What you did for him. Seems like he could use the support." A small part of me couldn't help being envious of such a quick bond. Maybe it was because I was afraid to, but aside from Wan, in all the time I'd spent in this village, I hadn't been able to really get close to anyone. Even Hakanai... sometimes I couldn't help wondering if it was just an infatuation or I really did have feelings for her.
It was the reason I'd left home in the first place. I was good at what I did but my temper got in the way of anyone having any faith in me. I was always causing fights with other students, and often wound up training alone because of it. I just... always felt so insignificant, with no one to support me. It didn't help either that my mother, a member of the Hakemoto, was shunned for marrying a man outside of the clan. And that was where the bias started, I think. At some point I just got fed up with it and ran away, where I was brought to Kumo. Perhaps if I'd had the kind of support Wan showed Hono now... maybe things would have been different. Maybe I wouldn't feel paranoid enough that anyone could stab me in the back at any moment.
And then there was her.
A flash of ginger hair, and he thought was gone as fast as it came. My hand absently drifted up to the medallion hanging from my neck.
Shaking myself back to the present, I glanced up at the giant once more, seeing if he'd managed to collect himself once more. "Anyway, you wanted to talk to me?"

Soraru's eyes briefly examined his surroundings, noting the pink flower petals which now littered the outside of the training dojo. It was a pretty beautiful sight really, how it looked with the long stretching sky of Kumogakure, plentiful clouds, and mountainous structure. Sora almost felt bad that he had to close his eyes then, as it was the best way for him to focus chakra while learning a new jutsu. Helped him mold the appearance in his mind before making it whole. As it stood, he maintained the Ram sign, given that it was the easiest for him to channel chakra through it. The jutsu he was learning next didn't actually require hand sign usage, but it was still nice to force the chakra in his body before doing anything else. Wind swirled about his body once more, and his eyes opened slowly, revealing glowing eyes. Moving both hands behind him while leaning his body forwards, he let out a large force of Fuuton chakra, resulting in any petals, dirt, rocks, or whatever else to be blown back while his body launched forwards. His eyes had a hard time adjusting, so he closed them again, relying more on natural instinct to take him where he needed to go. While he initially went straight, he ended up lowering his hands and launching himself into the air, then setting them so he went forward, then to the side, then down to the ground, each happening fluidly, rapidly, and in the course of one second. [ Kyoushu no Tokkan [ Assassin’s Rush ] - Learned ]
As Soraru got back to the ground, he finished his movement with the drawing of his blade, swift and barely done in half a second before making a huge, swirling horizontal strike. His body spun with it, and in the process he utilized the chakra scabbard which surrounded his weapon, concealing it. The strike extended with his will and chakra, the blade reaching an additional ten feet and blowing away the surrounding petals even further. [ Rōnin Spirit - Learned ]
The blade dispersed back into its normal size at the end of the technique, however Soraru continued to keep it out and not sheathed. Bringing his hands forward, he put both hands on the hilt and kept said hilt near stomach level, the blade pointed forwards, with the tip pointing around where he assumed the chest would be of the average height opponent. A normal kendo starting stance. Without the use of hand signs, wind began to stir around his person once more, and an aquamarine essence left the tip of his katana. After a couple of feet it formed an orb, which started to slowly shift and change. Soraru began to give some shaky breaths, the ability draining him of a fair amount of chakra, but made sure that his hands remained stilled. Rather than letting his breath shake, he took deeper ones, managing himself, forcing more chakra into his blade and molding the orb further. It shifted and opened in what appeared to be a hand, larger than the boy himself, made more fatal by claws. Wind picked up around the structure, resulting in the creation beginning to become much more intimidating, blowing away anything which surrounded it aside from the boy himself, and the blade which connected to it. The clawed hand curved its fingers inwards slightly, as if to make the motion that it was going to grab something, giving Soraru the go ahead that he'd completed the technique. Spinning his body, the young Samurai let the hand move with him, resulting in huge surrounding gusts, before coming out in a harsh upwards swing towards the sky. Such a swing let the claw leave the blade and start to launch upwards. It traveled a fair amount, around ten meters, before exploding out in a concussive blast, the wind force almost overwhelming even from his position away from it, but such was the strength of an A-ranked technique. [ Juha: Reppushou [ Beast Wave: Gale Wind Palm ] - Learned ]
The rest of the Ninjutsu he desired to learn for the moment weren't too difficult. First and foremost, he channeled chakra through his blade, before swiping it up towards the sky again. The flowers, as if interconnected through his chakra, went from the floor and into the sky. As the bundled together and swirled with each other, he used his left hand to form a hand seal, forming the flowers into explosive notes. Slicing downwards with his right hand, the petals followed suit, raining down onto the ground in front of him instead of all around, and resulting in several explosions going off. He had to be careful to make them controlled explosions, given that there were still people and structures nearby. [ Hyakkasaihou [ One Hundred Blossoming Flowers ] - Learned ]
The next jutsu wasn't actually one he could use at the moment given that he didn't currently have the resources for it. However he was able to learn it, reaching into his pocket for the Maruton scroll he'd brought with him. Opening it to the jutsu in question, he noted it over, and immediately got the hang of it. It really wasn't a Ninjutsu, moreso a clever use of ninja tools, so it didn't take nearly the amount of concentration or training to get down. [ Sakura Fubuki no Jutsu [ Cherry Blossom Snow Storm Technnique ] - Learned ]
Then came the last Ninjutsu technique Soraru wanted to learn for the day, one that would undoubtedly be draining. Putting that in mind, he sheathed his blade, and first focused the tenketsu in his brain to activate one of the states. The state of control, to be precise. His eyes were then in that peculiar shade of glowing blue for as long as the state was active, and the boy topped everything off by forming the clone seal with his hands. One, two, three, four, five. Five Soraru's, done through the initial Shadow Clone Jutsu technique that he learned some time ago. Wanting to kick things up another notch though, he made his clones perform the same clone seal, resulting in a larger cloud forming, molding into a total of twenty five clones and one real Soraru. The process continued. Clones continued to appear through multiplied use of the Shadow clone jutsu, and the samurai settled to taking a very long breath to keep from trembling or even falling to a knee. The chakra expenditure was great, even with the state, given everything that he had learned before hand. He scolded himself a bit for not training with the state of control active in the first place, given it should've been the obvious thing to do. Continuing on, there ended up with a grand total of a hundred clones and one real being, all of them with blades drawn, one knee to the ground, foreheads to the hilt of their weapons while the tips of their katanas pressed against the ground. They were opposite of the academy, and lined up alongside the outside, making sure that the clones wouldn't get in the way of anyone. Soraru's legs wobbled a bit, but he remained standing, his eyes watching the creations that he made. It was....actually pretty astounding, the feeling that he could do such a thing like that. Make a hundred copies of himself. It drew a small laugh from him, and with a snap of his fingers, the clones dispersed away. Soraru, running on the lower side of his chakra, decided to perform one last task with his Ninjutsu before taking a break. It was all low level Suiton that he'd read about before, so it wouldn't be too taxing on him as long as he kept his state of control active. To start off, he formed a couple hand seals and deployed a small scale version of the water basin technique, creating a rush of water in the empty area. With another sign, he focused his chakra to expand then drop, and his body responded by turning into water, and mixing in with the existing liquid on the floor. [ Mizutamari no Jutsu [ Water Puddle Technique ] - Learned ]
Following that up, he focused his chakra back into an internal motion in order to form his body back into full existence at the opposite end of the water he'd summoner with the Waterfall Basin technique. His body rose out completely without a hitch. If there were any complaints he had, it was that he didn't have a more open area to test the ability in completely. [ Mizutamari Yusuo no Jutsu [ Water Puddle Transportation Technique ] - Learned ]
With that, the boy was pretty beat, walking over to where he laid down his scrolls. Well one could say walk, but another could say stumbling over and barely keeping himself from falling. Once he was there, he sat down with a long exhale, grabbing one of the Genjutsu scrolls and opening up while he rested. Might as well learn more, even in rest. Turns out the scroll he opened was for the Sound branch, something he didn't really mind at all. "Awai tsuki ni mitorete shimau kara. Kurai ashimoto mo miezuni." He sang to himself softly, something he often did when it came to the topic of illusions. He could form illusions in the minds of anyone from merely listening to his voice or the music he created through instruments. Well, with a little chakra included, of course. "Koronda koto ni iki ga tsuke nai mama. Toi yoru no hoshi ga nijimu." He used the bare minimum of chakra, and his state of control had dispersed, so anyone who listened to his voice likely wouldn't have undergone the full effects of the Genjutsu he was trying to learn. Such effects would've been a slight change in their emotional state, to make them more content, calm, relaxed, possibly even a little happier. [ Ataeru Kanjoo no Jutsu [ Inflict Emotion Technique ] - Learned ]
"Shitai koto ga mitsukerare nai kara. Isoi da furi utsumuku mama." He continued to sing softly, eyes scrolling down to see the next Genjutsu he wished to learn. He was initially stuck between two jutsu. The Shroud of Darkness was the obvious choice given that it blended with the genjutsu he had just learned a second ago, however Beat Motion also worked very well in his style of combat, which often dealt in sounds such as high wind speeds and clashing blades. In the end, he decided that the former had a lot more potential in a battle against multiple opponents, since all of the techniques he had currently were for more of one on one situations. He made sure to nullify his chakra and die down his singing to a simple, harmonic humming, since the Genjutsu was much more intrusive than the last one he learned. The complete disappearance of sight and sound both from the enemy, on all enemies within five hundred yards. Well, not completely gone. The enemy could probably create minor lights through Ninjutsu, and the only sound that left was that of the environment, meaning speaking, walking, and other such things would still go through normally. It still provided a significant boon to Soraru, who often traveled quick and without much in the way of sound, with the wind masking it regardless. As it stood, the only thing that stood between him and the complete destruction of an opponent were reflexes and the tiny sounds that gave him away. Without those, and with his tricky nature coming into play, the Genjutsu would make him a force to be reckoned with, without a doubt. [ Kurayami no Oii [ Shroud of Darkness ] - Learned ]
Done with that scroll, he moved onto the next one, grabbing the Cloud Genjutsu one for obvious reasons. Given that he'd already learned one technique from the branch, he knew it wouldn't really be too much of a hassle to just get the other one out of the way. Opening the aforementioned scroll, he looked downwards and let his eyes move through the list to see what he wanted. There were a few interesting ones, such as the Falling From Clouds technique, given it blended well with the Cloud Watching one he learned already. He wanted to settle on the Lightning Rain technique though, given it fit quite nicely for combat. Make the enemy too scared to make a move through fear of pain, and their reflexes, speed, or power mean nothing. Burning, electrocuted flesh and tightly cramping muscles from electrocution could sometimes seem more scary than being cut in half with a sword. [ Raikou Ame no Jutsu [ Lightning Rain Technique ] - Learned ]
Aaaaaaand done. With the cloud genjutsu out of the way, he tossed it with the Sound one and grabbed the Rock scroll. Said branch was a little too rigid for his liking, however some of it blended well with Kumogakure's mountainous environment, and something like that couldn't be overlooked at all. When he opened the scroll and read through just a bit, he had already started laughing, a bit of excitement and amusement crossing his features as he re-read the two Genjutsu that would blend surprisingly well. The first, the Landslide technique, worked almost too well with his environment, and he was able to pick up on how to dear it near immediately. [ Jisuberi no Jutsu [ Landslide Technique ] - Learned ]
Then the following, which made the former ability so funny, was the Cliff Disguise technique. His mind imagined enemies being scared by large boulders falling down from the side of a mountain they were scaling, and in an attempt to move out the way, end up traversing false ground and promptly fall off of the cliff into their dooms. Yeah, it was pretty morbid, but hilarious at the same time in theory. Figuring that something so potentially useful and entertaining couldn't be passed up on, he decided to include the Genjutsu into his arsenal. [ Zeppeki Gisou no Jutsu [ Cliff Disguise Technique ] - Learned ]
The next technique was about as simple as the first, one he decided he wanted to learn upon grabbing and opening the next scroll. He actually skipped Leaf and went right to Sand, given that in his mind, the Leaf branch was incredibly boring and didn't blend with him at all. The first technique he wanted to learn was the False Strike technique, given it'd give him the edge in direct combat, no matter how many enemies there were. Could very easily be set up for an escape or counter attack. [ Mougo Shibaku no Jutsu [ False Strike Technique ] - Learned ]
And if course, how could he pick up False Strike without picking up the sister technique, False Dodge? Primarily for use whenever an opponent picked up too much on the former. An opponent could only see their strikes land only to get no results so many times before they switched up their own tactics. So False Strike was made to male the enemy even further believe that they couldn't land an actual, real strike. Stay still, defend ones self, while the opponent gets the illusion that he tried to employ the earlier technique again. So when they try and move to attack what they believe to be real, they're only met once more with an attack from behind, after they attacked an enemy who never truly existed. It was endlessly useful for Soraru, who with his fast thinking mind would be able to determine which to use in a seamless manner. Constantly confuse the opponent and see which goes first, their mind or their body. He'd be stupid not to add it to his arsenal with all the other Genjutsu he'd picked so far. [ Mougo Hagurakasu no Jutsu [ False Dodge Technique ] - Learned ]
Next up, one of the two blank scrolls, that were moreso considered "general" Genjutsu, rather than any pertaining to a certain theme. The first he wanted was one that he was surprised to not find in the Maruton scroll, given it was a sort of "anti-genjutsu" like Kai, but he didn't really have any complaints. Kurenai's Flower Petal Dissolve, one of the trademark moves of a once famed Genjutsu specialist from Konohagakure. There was a reason he knew that, a good one. Back in the Iron Country, when he found that he had a gift with his voice, and an ability to blend it with Genjutsu, he became a little obsessed in becoming some kind of master of illusions. So, during the night, he'd often open books and scrolls pertaining to the subject, looking at wars fought with that brand of jutsu, famous practitioners, and amazing illusory feats that were done once upon a time. It was only when he developed a competitive drive and a need to be a better swordsman than his mentor and father that he lost his passion for such a thing, however retained the knowledge. The jutsu he wanted to learn was primarily used once someone got put into a genjutsu, then they'd counter it by turning their body into flower petals, and essentially take control of the enemy jutsu. The flowers, permeating the air, would start to cling to the body of the enemy in massive amounts, and completely dissolve them. Needless to say, it was something very interesting, and it'd fit incredibly well in his arsenal of illusions regarding flowers. [ Kurenai's Flower Petal Dissolve [ Unnamed ] - Learned ]
The next ability, Kurenai's Flower Petal Escape, was one he wanted to learn just as badly. Thankfully, it was much easier to get a hang of. Ever since his time in the Storm Mountains, he knew that he'd need something if he was ever caught in a bad situation. Whether that be bound in a cave or captured with a blade to his throat, it was incredibly useful, and there wasn't any way on earth that he was going without it. [ Kurenai's Flower Petal Escape [ Unnamed ] - Learned ]
And with that done, he turned to the next general scroll. When he opened it, he was pretty damn surprised by its variety. Elemental effects, blocking off senses, controlling animals and even summoning demons. What caught his eye though, made him feel a bit of sympathy for whoever he decided to use it against. There was no doubting its potential effectiveness though. If he needed that one instance to create an opening for an attack, escape, or even if he just wanted to shut someone up, it could come in extremely handy. Strong technique, easy to plant in the opponents mind, the only problem was that it had a high chakra expenditure. The ability in question basically would make opponents see themselves blowing up, exploding, and their nerve endings would feel like absolute hell. It was a Genjutsu of pure, massive pain beyond imagination, yet it was something that should've been in any Genjutsu users arsenal. All it came down to was whether or not he was morally ready to use it though. Something like that could cause someone to never want to fight again, or take a few days worth of recovery. Even then that wouldn't help the nightmares. Soraru, knowing that there was no use in maintaining honor or Bushido anymore, decided to add it to his arsenal. Even if he didn't feel super comfortable using it, there was no telling if the opponent was capable of doing something just as bad. That led him to deciding that he'd only use the ability on those who really, truly deserved something so bad. [ Kibaku Zetsumei [ Exploding Death ] - Learned ]
Lastly, he eyed something that he felt he could add to his arsenal of flower based jutsu. It was originally with butterflies, but he felt with some shifts in chakra, he could change that with ease. Since it was simplistic, used explosive tags, and potentially flowers, he saw it as perfect and took it as the last Genjutsu in his arsenal. [ Magen: Chō Ko [ Demonic Illusion: Butterfly Evolution ] - Learned ]
With a flop back into the flowers and the ground, he put his arms behind his head and looked up at the clouds, breathing out a sigh of relief. All of his Genjutsu and Ninjutsu were complete, with the exception of one suiton Ninjutsu and the Konohagakure branch of Genjutsu. He had the option to complete ceremony for his sword style as well, but something inside told him that it wasn't a good idea. Like he should wait, and be alone to perform such a thing and make that huge decision. After he did such a thing, there was no going back. Instead, he figured he should learn one or two other sword techniques before his fight with Kaileer. With a groan of disapproval to the movements his body made, he got himself up off the ground and drew his sword, making the simple motion of focusing his chakra into it. Moving the bottom of his scarf to the side and pushing the flap of his coat over, he drew the hidden wakizashi he kept as well, of course also applying the chakra there. The technique he performed was one he once used in the past, and a trademark of his. Stepping forward with both blades drawn, he want into a blade dancing frenzy for a moment, his elements becoming entirely apparent then. His blades, lit with his chakra and covered in a slightly visible gust that dripped with water, both extended outwards in left and right slashes, resulting in gusts of blade shaped wind to fire out. His wakizashi pulled back and stabbed while his right hand made a slash back to the right with his katana, resulting in two different effects. A beam of Suiton left the wakizashi as he stabbed, extending fairly far and looking quite threatening for a blast of water, while the katana sent out another blade of Fuuton. The process repeated in different ways as he continued to swirl, stab, and cut, resulting in a show of water and wind. At the end of it, he threw the Wakizashi blade first into the dirt, impaling it into the ground and filling it with water, something that was good for setting up Suiton jutsu, while he pulled back on his katana arm. While doing that, he used his left hand to slide forwards atop the blade, resulting in his chakra to shoot off in a blindingly bright, sky blue light, one with the potential to pierce and burn anyone foolish enough to stand in its way. [ Flourish of Twelve Steel Goodbyes - Learned ] [ Shimmering Exhale - Learned ]
Standing there then, with blade in hand, chakra active once more...he couldn't help but crave strength in abundance. He wanted additional knowledge, more techniques, enough to truly handle whatever came his way. I don't believe that anyone else knows your location, but I worry about you. You need an edge. As it stands, despite how unique you can be, everyone has access to the same techniques you do. So beneath this box I attached a scroll. There's only a few in the world, since it was never processed and published like others. Hone your skill, prepare for the worst, and know that I fully support the path that the scroll may set you on. If I can protect you with this, I can still feel like your sensei. He remembered the words that his old mentor put in that letter, and found himself clenching his hands tighter around his blade.
" Before his mind could stop him, he made a decision. Maybe it was idiotic, maybe it was the smartest thing he'd done in years. It was impossible to tell at that time. He moved his hand to the small gourd that he kept beside the scabbard on his wakizashi, the one he filled before leaving the apartment. Without hesitation, he brought the cork to his lips and bit it off, before pouring the contents onto his blade, the scent of alcohol suddenly permeating the air. It was such a simple motion, but immediately he felt his blade humming with power, and even more than that felt...like he was attached to the weapon. As if some invisible string had wrapped around his hand, and connected the hilt of Reito Kumo to it. Soraru's eyes settled on the blade, looking at it from the cloth wrapped hilt to the darkened tip. What he did resulted in a newer, stronger bond between him and his katana, as it also signified the death of his honor. The tenant that Meiyo no Shi truly stood for, moreso than just being the brother style of Tetsu no Ryu. He did a quick pirouette and cut, a normal strike from him, though he noticed it felt faster....cleaner. "Heh..." There was something bittersweet about the whole situation. Another cut, more movements, a stab, overhead cleave. All of it felt easier, less stressful, like his blade was putting in half the effort itself to only let Soraru pay the other half. Still, no matter how many cuts he made, it didn't stop the small feeling that he had let a lot of people down. Even if his mentor sent him the scroll, it didn't mean he was trampling on years of studying in Tetsu no Ryu, years of struggling to adhere to Bushido to make his family happy. But all that training... how many times had he come back beaten and bruised, carried over his masters shoulders back into the main temple? How many times did it make him happy, getting all those pats on the back, ruffles in the hair, grins and words of praise from the samurai he looked up to. At first those people averted their eyes from him, thinking him to be closed in royalty who wouldn't understand the way of a blade. But seeing him train in those roaring blizzards, his yells and shouts of devotion overcoming the winds with every desperate strike.
The early mornings where he woke up before even the samurai to set up and watch them train, learn how they fought, put in effort to be just like them, if not better. They came to respect them, and he came to be happier than ever.
It was never about Tetsu no Ryo. Never about Bushido.
He felt a lump in his throat, and the corners of his lips twitched, held back from trembling as he gave a small, sincere smile. There was a tiny "tch" as that broke into a grin, and he wiped forming tears from his eyes. Those days where he got to eat at the table of the rest of the samurai, because he skipped breakfast with his father to be with his friends. When he stood there astounded while everyone piled together to tell him the best stories about battles, strange sights, and amazing feats. The proud smile of his mentor. Kahlua's scoldings and protective motherly nature, the bright words of the old guard with normally dead eyes. They were all his friends, and it wasn't because of his title, or how good he was in swordsmanship.
It was about me being honest...with who I am, and giving it my all. In my effort to be Musunde Hiraite instead of just my fathers son. I can't use that name anymore...maybe I'm Soraru now, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to actually be myself. He told himself, moving his hand away from his eyes, and reaching into his pocket once more to pull out that Meiyo no Shi scroll that he put away.
Now, where did I leave off on? [ "Hitotsu to Shite" Ceremony - Learned ]

Soraru's eyes shut once again as he crouched down on a knee, katana in his right hand, his left moving to remove his wakizashi from the ground, swirl and flick to remove the dirt, then slide it back into its sheathe. His breaths were calm, no longer even slightly ragged or shaky, chakra once more settled and in reasonable supply. He knew what he had to do next, and he was preparing himself for the feats. Once he started, he didn't want to stop. A straight combination of techniques to lead all the way to the final stage. Not hitches, breaks, stops or anything else that interrupted from the techniques. "Reito Kumo, with me." He spoke softly, pushing his body forwards and raising from his crouch. In the process he drew his right arm back, then shot it forwards, loosening his grip on his blade so it flew from his hand and launched ahead. There was a thin, shimmering thread of chakra though, one only visible to his eyes, and he clenched his fist to grab onto it. In that motion alone, he was "pulled" to the blade, all but teleporting to it immediately, and he ended up with the hilt in his grip, spinning to a stop. Right when he did so, he spun around, using his left hand to grab onto the blunt edge of the blade and raising it vertically at the end of the movement. With one hand on the hilt and the other on the blade, it made for a reasonable defense against horizontal strikes. Continuing the movement, he pulled back on the blade, crouched down, and pushed forwards on the hilt, resulting in a chakra empowered strike to what would likely be the chin or chest of the enemy. [ Ceremonial Connection: Binding - Learned ] [ The Defenseless - Learned ] [ Hiraite Style: Turning the Blade - Learned ]
Following up that strike, he moved as he normally would in that situation, never giving the enemy a break. Once his opponent would've flown into the air, he flung his blade once more, that time into the sky, using his Fuuton chakra to split the air in the path of the weapon. Clenching his fist around the "thread" again, he was pulled near instantly to the blade, raising his knee for a strike against what could be the enemy's stomach or back, before raising his weapon in an overhead strike, and slamming it down onto what could've been an opponents nape of neck or throat. All really depended on which position they flew into the air in. As he came down from the air, he did so with his dance of six steps, using it to traverse the air freely and not risk damage to his legs on landing. Once back on the ground, he made sure to pull back into one of his normal stances, one he actually picked up as a child, watching the Oni. Soraru just did it so well that he made it his own. With one hand forwards around chest level, he pulled back with his right arm, holding the blade in a reverse grip, as if he could launch out in a sudden attack at any moment. In the process of it all, his blade glowed a faint red, showing that there was something more sinister about it, something that could appear in its next strike. [ Continuation Shi: Escaping Tsukihara Hana (Fuuton/Ceremonial Only) - Learned ] [ Oni Stance: Hunting Prey - Learned ] [ Holding Back Tears - Learned ]
And strike he did. His body launched forwards suddenly in a swift strike, bringing his right hand forwards in a direct slash against the chest or side. However anyone who clashed blades with him would learn that the attack was a feint, his blade being there the lock the opponents in, while his left hand suddenly moved to pull at the hilt of his wakizashi, drawing it from its scabbard and performing a swift battoujutsu strike to bisect the enemy as he moved past. In the process of all that, he dropped his katana to the ground covering it in the aura from Edge of Conquest beforehand to hide it. A spin, movement, extension of the arm and clenching a hand into a fist. That's all it took to take Soraru right back to his imaginary enemy, grabbing his blade from the ground as he was pulled to it, performing a downwards strike to the ground and infusing the weapon with chakra, so that the impact sent him into the air. Following that up with continuation Ichi, Vertical fangs, he did several vertical spins in the air with his blades, coming down with an elemental strike that cleaved the wind apart. With both blades extended at the end, his crossed them inwards and moved forwards, drawing them both out in an extremely fast cross slash which sent out a flurry of razor winds as they fanned out. The attack was swift, direct, punctual. An enemy who took it head on would've surely been done for, if not from the strikes or razorwinds alone, then from the building up wounds acquired through the Holding Back Tears ability. With all that done, Soraru was able to feel the effects of his training starting to take hold, but he was in no way done with any of it yet, wanting to continue and press himself even further. He had one more stage of techniques left. [ Continuation Go: Assaulting Prey - Learned ] [ Finale Go: Apex Predator (Ceremonial Required) - Learned ] [ Finale Ichi: Dragons Crossing Seas - learned ] [ Savagery - Learned ]
Then he was at the final stretch, and the movements he made showed that he was willing to continue on until the very end. He stepped forwards, crouched, and let himself build up Fuuton chakra within himself. First he threw his weapon into the air, something that could probably lead enemies to think he was using the Binding technique again, however instead he utilized Assassins Rush, setting his hands behind him and using the massive burst of wind to send himself flying at ridiculous speeds into the air. Once there he switched directions a multitude of times in quick succession, to leave them unable to truly tell where he'll strike from, grabbing his weapon in the process. Coming back into full view in front of his imaginary enemy, he lashed out with his blade, first with a horizontal cut along the stomach, then an upwards diagonal one up the chest. It ended with a downwards overhead strike to the shoulder, before he came down himself in his dance of six steps. [ Finale Nii: Devoid of Breath - Learned ]
The next attack was pretty damn simple, not requiring much higher thought or rigorous movements. It was, however, a handy counter technique he could use after dodging a strike. First though, he made sure to sheathe his offhand weapon. With his right hand, he reached down and tapped the hilt of his wakizashi, resulting in a chakra burst that sent it out of the hilt. However, the chakra didn't continuing on, resulting in a fairly normally powered hilt strike. It served as a distraction though, letting him swiftly swing his katana in an upwards diagonal strike, both attacking the enemy and giving off the *clink* sound of clashing steel as he knocked his weapon back into normal placement, grabbing it with his left hand by the hilt while it was still in the air. At the end of it, Soraru was in a rather...relaxed, slack stance. Too relaxed, his head hung, left hand lowered, right pointing forwards at an enemy who wasn't there. Both blades were now coated in crimson, at least while Edge of Conquest wasn't active, and maintained a rather threatening appearance. For good reason, as if an enemy was struck, they'd find their problems increasing greatly. [ Yoshimitsu: Beginning of Creation - Learned ] [ Viewing The Waterfalls - Learned ]
Out of that slack stance, he performed a vicious slash with his offhand weapon, twirling his body with it seamlessly. That twirl led into a different, odd movement as he cartwheeled, the clinking of chains sounding as his blades became attached to them by their hilts. He swung the wakizashi up by the chain as a chakra grip of sorts formed on his foot, making the blade stick to it, while his right hand remained pointing forwards, left hand lifting himself up in a use of both his chakra and own physical conditioning. It was a strange stance, but one that could be absolutely deadly in the hands of one who could master it. He performed a few movements like that, swirling his body around in a breakdance motion to lash out with the blade connected to his foot, the one in his hand swinging in a wide arc to perform a full 360 coverage with his weapons. Odd but...he could get used to it. [ Continuation Roku: Jester For Tsukihara Hana - Learned ] [ Flow of Battle - Learned ]
And with that, he cut off his chakra and stood back up, pulling on the chains before they disappeared to bring the hilts of his blades back into his hands. Training complete. With a bit of a triumphant air about him, he sheathed his blades together, then crossed his arms in confidence, very pleased in himself for fully completing his training in Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Bukijutsu.

-----{ E }yes turned down at the questions that Kaileer put to him, for he knew they were coming. Questions about his chakra, and his size. Both were of great importance for him because, simply put, he had no idea how much more he would grow. Compared to his father he was already larger than anyone else in his lands, or this, and yet...his growth came explosively, and his father had attained his last growth spurt at the age of twenty three, the largest by far. If that timeline were to be followed it would mean Wanryoku could grow another few feet, and that worried him. Already Shinobi looked at him with shock, and children with outright fright. The days he had dressed up as the figure, Santa Claus, had been the first time children had looked to him with smiles instead of fear. Cheer, instead of gloom. The memory was a pleasant one, and was what had kept him warm through the fight with the frost monsters. Still, it gave him pause, long enough for Kaileer to shake himself from of whatever place he had gone to and bring up the entire reason he was here. -----Inhaling softly, the giant flashed a wicked grin before responding. "Thought I save you from embarrassment." Of course, that wasn't the truth, and Kaileer would most likely be able to tell. Chuckling darkly, Wanryoku gestured for any linger ANBU to get the hell away, and for anyone nearby to move further so they could talk in peace. Anyone who remained would be thrown off of the nearest cliff, if he could help it. Only after a few moments of silence did he speak, and with some manner of annoyance and...something else. "My people...might be here...I have sent others out to scout, but not engage." Fear, that was what Wanryoku felt at his words. Fear, for advance scouts as these might well be would imply a war band was coming, and that was something that he would not wish on a single person, even the United Hidden Villages. "I want to talk about possibility. And my uncle, Isamu." With this, he gestured lower, to the face at his size that was quietly snoring away. ----- Sighing quietly, the jounin turned his eyes back towards Kaileer, at least partially meeting the eyes of his Raikage at last. "My uncle comes from home, but comes with Jutsu. I want to talk to him but only if you want. He is your prisoner." ----- -----

[x] Save me from embarrassment? What did me getting embarrassed--which I didn't--have to do with anything? I gave him a half-hearted smile in return, seeing through his attempt at humor. It was clear his mind was elsewhere, just like mine. Soraru being the closest to us, there wasn't much of a concern of being overheard; the area seemed to have cleared out in the last several minutes, which was fine by me. Crossing my arms, I listened to what he had to say, watching my sparring partner train using clones as targets. For the most part, keeping an eye on him didn't serve as a distraction until the explosions started, followed by Soraru creating a mass number of shadow clones via the multiple technique; being probably the biggest technique he'd learned until that point, it left him a bit unsteady on his feet. Maybe it would be best to put our spar on hold altogether for the moment.
My gaze was diverted to Wan, though, at the fear in his voice when he mentioned the presence of his tribe. I knew little about them, but given how strong Wan was on his own, I couldn't begin to imagine having to face a horde. He spoke of the scouts he'd sent to clarify the rumor--the very genin that had putzed around for gods-knew-how-long before actually leaving. I could only hope that, if they found anything, they would only observe, not engage, unlike the group in the mountains. In the meanwhile, I'd sent out a second group, trained ANBU, to gather information, since they moved more quickly. So far neither group had returned.
Looking down at the slumbering man who'd been stuffed inside Wan's evidently magical quiver, I scowled slightly. Why the hell had Wan kept him there instead of handing him to the ANBU? "We do have a prison, you know, Wan. It would have been better than keeping him like that." Though which was more humane was honestly up to debate. Still, I didn't like him seeing the village; he could see all of our weaknesses and the lack of cooperation among the ranks. If for any reason he managed to get free... "I'd like to talk to him as well, but not here, obviously." Somewhere where both he and us would be safe. Like a proper cell instead of forcing him to be carried around like a doll.
Honestly thinking about it, the topic in general wasn't one I wanted to discuss in front of others. "We should move somewhere private." It was probably best to check in at the office anyway, given the prison lay beneath the tower. Pushing myself back to my feet, I stepped away from the giant, skirting around the edge of Soraru's practice area to where my sword belt, bag, and coat lay after I'd discarded them earlier. Clipping the belt on, I turned to face the genin. "Oi. Soraru, we'll continue this another time, once you've had a chance to recuperate." Flashing him a grin, I pulled my coat on and stuffed the two bokken in my bag before slinging it over my shoulder. "You're not half bad. Might even give me a run for my money someday." Honestly, that was probably an understatement, but I wasn't about to admit it out loud. That doubt that my adviser mentioned not a moment before reared its head behind the mask of a smile I put up. Still, at this point, without limiting myself, he had a long way to go. But restricting myself to tactics I'd have used as a genin? He countered very well. After all, it was a matter of who tripped up first; I'd literally thrown myself at him and there was no way he could have predicted it. I won't have that card to play next time, so in the meanwhile, I'd need to come up with some new tricks.
Ideally, I wouldn't need to use other tactics, but in the situation of facing an opponent more than once? It was necessary unless I wanted to get myself killed. Although also ideally, I wouldn't be limited and would have access to my States, whenever that ability decided to return to me. After relying on them for so long, I felt like I had no defenses, outside of the UHV tech I'd picked somewhere along the way.
I watched the genin for a moment longer, half wondering if he'd seen through my mask, and then jogged back over to Wan, not wanting to keep the giant waiting. "I need to stop by the office anyway to see if any reports have been delivered." Somehow I doubted it, but it was worth checking. The sooner we could get information on the situation, the better. Gesturing for him to follow, I headed away from the training grounds.

Once Kaileer's voice rose up, the young Samurai blinked and turned his eyes to the kage. I guess he was well aware of the drain all that training put on me, and made the decision to put the spar on hold. He wasn't sure when they'd actually get the chance, since a kage seemed like the type to usually be busy, but he wasn't one to turn it down. Said kage made a mention that Sora could potentially turn out stronger some day, and while he didn't doubt it too much, he also knew it wouldn't be anytime soon. The guy had a lot of variety that the genin probably only got a taste of.
"It was a pretty fun fight already, so I look forward to finishing it. Gotta run down to the Blue Dragon anyways, since I've got some funds to spend. Will probably be down at your office tomorrow, we can talk about continuing there." Before that though, he dirtied his clothes a fair bit in training and got them soaked in water as well, so he'd need to take a stop at his apartment first. Maybe pick up an instrument or two from home to get some practice in while he waited at the emporium. Turning away, he raised a hand and waved it in a little goodbye as he left to the residential district, leaving behind a plethora of scattered cherry blossoms and some damages grounds from his training. Nothing that the staff who tended to village grounds haven't seen before, he assumed.

Once I leaned down to picked up the candies, I was trying to remember how many I already had in my pockets. I couldn't remember. With a soft sigh, I placed my had into the pockets and counted. Okay. That was better. Then I picked up the candies from the pile that Shu had shown me, that was... odd. Why do I have 27 candies at the moment? Where they were coming from? My cold blue hues glanced up towards the cloudy sky as I was trying to judge if the candies were falling from the sky. I waited and waited. Nothing. Well. Okay then. Lowered my head, I glanced towards Axel as he still seemed to figure things out. I left the notebook with the pen in the spiral of it with him in case he wanted to talk about other things because right now, it seemed like he didn't want to deal with me. Who would want to anyways? With a soft sigh, I walked towards the building and leaned against it as I could feel my body slowy sliding down against the wall. Shu followed me as well and rested beside me. With a soft smile, my hand went to pet him, what can I do while I awaited for orders? I wish I could nap, but I refused. The bags underneath my eyes were dark and heavy. While I was still petting the massive hybrid at my side and my companion, I let my thoughts drifted for a moment. My blue hues rested on Kaileer as I watched him talk towards Wan, Soraru, and one other.. Who was that white haired male? I don't think I actually met him yet. Poor guy. He seemed so nervous and jumpy. I had a sudden desire and need to protect him. Why was this? With a soft frown, I was still petting Shu but I felt a vibration from him. My head turned to look at him as I smiled weakly and sadly. He was asleep. This was good yes, but I cannot do the same.
But I needed to be kept busy or I would fall asleep. Maybe it would be a good time to talk to Kaileer? I glanced over to where he was and... he was not there anymore. With a soft frown, I kept to myself after my eyes already darted around at the academy few times to see if I could find the raven haired of the Raikage. This could be for the best at the moment. Maybe... we aren't just ready to talk about this just yet. With that, I reached into my shoulder bag and pulled out a spare notebook. I opened it and with the pen in my hand... I... had no idea what to do. I wanted to vent. But my emotions were best to keep to myself. After all, look what I did when I couldn't control it. I flashed back to that memory to think about what happened and why? All those people, they all died. Shu was gone. I believed him to be dead. I was wrong for thinking as such but I was more than happy to be wrong about his death. But his scar at his neck... it terrified me. I should been there. I was his tamer. I felt something wrong at my cheek and I frowned slightly. I wiped it away and shook my head. No. I wasn't going to cry in front of anyone. I refused to do so. With an exhale, I pressed the pen against the paper for the ink to spill and was doing everything I can not to think about and bring myself the strength to not break down and start crying right here and then. I didn't know what I was doing. Drawing? Writing? All I could feel was slight warmth from Shu as my hand was letting my chin rest on it while I just.... scribbled away. I was doing the best I can to keep my thoughts out of things. I wanted to go to the hospital and help out or something else besides being here, but my team was here and so I was responsible for them too. Right now, I was just waiting for the next orders. I could feel my eyelids becoming so heavy. It was such a struggle to stay awake. Ugh. I gently lift my head and rest it back while I look at the sky. We didn't know how long the wait was going to be so I might as well make myself useful. Once I decided, I gently woke up Shu. He grumbled a bit but didn't complain. That was odd. He usually ignore me or continue to try to sleep and be oblivious to the world. What... what really happened when he away from me? With a soft shook of my head, I signed to him and explained what we were going to do. I watched Shu nodded and get up as he started to stretch. Approached Axel, I gently take away the note book and wrote on it, informing him that I was going to the hospital to help out to help me stay awake and be useful. Handed the notebook back, I clicked my tongue gently and tilted my head towards the exit for Shu to follow.
