I don't think I'm going to finish catching up in my journal. I'm running out of time... bleh...

Well, I'm heading off. Talk to you either later or tomorrow, depending on what I end up doing ((since my friend did say I could play on her computer if I wanted to, lol)).

I had a fun time hanging out with my friend Rini during the weekend.

Saturday we hung out a bit watching random TV (i.e. Saturday Night Live - which was doing a Glee themed skit, since Jane Lynch was on there as the guest host)... and watched Christine ((which Rini found funny, because that's my name in RL)). Then we decided to go to bed so that we were fully rested for her sister's party the next day.

Sunday we got up and watched a bit of Fashion Police, then got ready to drive over to Rini's sister place to carpool to the restaurant that the party was at. It took awhile before we could find a place to park. The restaurant was absolutely fabulous - gorgeous inside, food superb. I got to try champagne. 3nodding I liked it - well, for the most part, until it was sitting around for awhile and the alcohol started to come out more. The rest of the party started noticing the same thing and was diluting their champagne with the orange juice that was part of our brunch. sweatdrop Afterwards, Rini's sister drove us back to her place, and then Rini and me went back to Rini's place. For her drawing class, Rini had to do three different drawing stuff, so I was her model: she had to do a profile drawing without looking at her paper; then doing another profile drawing - this time being able to look at the paper; and then she did one of my legs. 3nodding On the USA channel, they were doing a Pirates of the Caribbean marathon, so we watched the movies. Rini worked on finishing my belated-Birthday/belated-Christmas/belated-Birthday-again gift, lol. ((She meant to finish it for my birthday last year, but didn't finish it... so she said she would try to finish it by Christmas. Well... she didn't get around to finishing it until yesterday, lol.))

I'm back.

So yeah. Not much homework for me to do. I just have to read the comic book for my Environment class that's about Hurricane Katrina. And I also have to work on my letter to a legislature person that relates to the environmental issue I chose to focus my message box on.

And of course finish reading Copper Sun (because I don't want to stop and not finish the book) and begin reading House on Mango Street for my Young Adult Lit. class.
