After the brief exchange Zero had with his Gardevoir, the duo heard the door unlock and begin to open, so the trainer turned to face it proper. Du was the one to face them, but seeing her exausted state, the silver-haired trainer opted to forego the morning greeting and simply take the invitation inside. Briefly wondering where Isis was, he stepped inside, getting a little ways past the doorway before he got the answer to such a question. Without realizing it, Isis had walked out right in front of her friend, dressed only in a towel. Zero unwittingly took in the full sight of the woman's towel-clad form, and... Effectively froze up and internally crashed like an old computer. He didn't move and his frozen gaze reflected that, as Nova had to come up and place her hands over his eyes, covering them up in case something important happened to slip in Isis' rush to get back behind closed doors. When she finally managed to get out of the room, Zero's normal functions seemed to steadily begin returning. "...Zero, your nose is bleeding."
His body once again beginning to function, the two moved to exit the room. "...I know." Wiping the blood from under his nose, he and Nova opted to wait outside, half of Zero's body visible in the doorway as he leaned against the frame. A light blush still kept present on his face, as he didn't exactly succeed in keeping the mental image out of his head, but before too long Isis arrived once again, this time fully clothed and motioning for them to head out. "No, no, it's fine... We'll just call it even." He let out a sigh, trying to shake himself free of his thoughts once again, though when Isis brought up breakfest he wearily smiled, and nodded his head. "Yeah, I think that sounds good. Been a while since we last ate at a Center, now that I think about it."
"Before we do though, can we stop by the phones momentarily?" Nova cut in, trailing closely behind the two trainers. "I still need to get my scarf or whatever its replacement may be from Machina."

✿ ❀Isis laughed a bit as Zero suggested that it was fine since now they were even, instantly reminded of the time she had fallen through the bathroom door shortly after his shower. "Arceus don't remind me...!" Her embarrassed laughter betrayed her words though, shaking her head at the memory and suggesting they get some breakfast, which Zero happily agreed to, given that it'd been a while since the'd last ate at a pokemon center. "Huh... Yeah I think you're right...." Isis' brows furrowed in thought, trying to recall when she'd just ate pokemon center food instead of eating out. Nova asked that they stop by the phones first however, since she still needed to get her scarf, or it's replacement. Now that Isis thought about it, Nova wasn't in her mega form, and her scarf was missing. "Oh! So you ended up sending it to Machina last night?" Isis asked. "Actually yeah, maybe I could ask him..... There's a renaissance fair in Unova that I wanted to go to... Do you think he'd have a good costume...?" She wondered aloud, neglecting to mention that it was Leon who'd told her about it and invited her, for Zero's sake. "Urgf... Actually a better question is, would he ever let me wear one of his costumes ever again....." Zero joined in Isis' embarrassed laughter, the mood between them finally normalizing again. After the two of them agreed to eat breakfast at the Center, Nova asked to use the phones, and thus the trio started on that path over there. On the way though, Isis brought up a renaissance fair, in Unova, wondering if Machina might have a costume she could wear. For reasons known only to him though between the three of them, Zero nearly burst out into laughter, having to clasp his hand over his mouth to stop himself while Isis lamented what she'd done to the last costume she loaned from Machina. "O-Oh, don't worry, I-I don't think that'll be an issue," He reassured her, wiping a tear from his eye. "The more pressing issue would be deciding on which costume to take, I swear half of that guy's wardrobe is just renfest costumes."
Before long, they finally reached the phones, Nova stepping forward to put in the number she'd called just a few hours ago into the night. While she did that and they all waited for the silver-haired male to pick up, Zero's smile faded back to his usual expression, and he glanced at Isis. "...I guess it is that time of year again for this kind of thing, huh? Last time it was the Tanabata... If that was anything to go off of, is it safe to assume that you plan to head there because he mentioned it?" Zero's gaze was steady, but in part it was exactly because of that he almost seemed saddened, even if the rest of his expression was relatively neutral. He spoke with... not exactly disdain for the raven haired male, but he certainly didn't seem too pleased at the idea of him. After a few more minutes, the screen flashed awake, and Zero turned his attention to the video phone as his old friend appeared on screen.
"Ah, there you guys are. I was wondering when you'd call back," the younger male spoke, the faintest of smiles on his face. "It's all done, Nova, so I'll send it over now." There was a loud, mechanical noise as Machina opened something, before it snapped shut. A whirring sound resonated on both ends, before going silent as Nova opened the small tray under the screen, where her scarf was now lying pristinely. Her smile widening, as she reached in to scoop it up.
In that brief instant that her hands wrapped around it, memories flashed through her mind. A wide spectrum of experiences that she'd lived through surfaced in her mind, flowing through her as she remembered every step of the way in her trainer's journey. She lifted the cloth and looked at the boy on the screen, who's expression didn't fade. "That scarf has a lot of memories to it, so I did my best to get it back to pristine condition. Made sure it won't fall apart as easily either." Machina's gaze rested squarely on Nova, who's... downright atrocious handwriting was still fresh in his mind. "Think of it as a thanks for keeping an eye on him for this long." The Gardevoir nodded gratefully, before stepping aside from the phone to put her scarf back on, the shell of mega evolution forming around her as she wrapped it around her neck. When it burst open, she once again returned to her striking Mega form, a few particles of energy still in the air, should Isis have been inclined enough to take a picture. Finally though, the male on the other line turned his attention to Isis and Zero, who he actually could talk to normally without the need of deciphering awful handwriting. "So, do you guys need anything else?"

When they reached the phones however, Zero's amused expression faded as he accurately guessed that the reason Isis was even asking about a renaissance fair was because Leon has asked her to go. Isis grimaced, tugging at her hair again. She had a feeling he wouldn't be too pleased if he determined who it was that had invited her, but there was no point in lying to Zero now that he'd guessed it. Zero nodded, rubbing his neck with his hand. "Yeah, something like that. He just really likes the general look for those kinds of things, so he'll usually take whatever excuse he can to make use of costumes like that." After his explanation, the trio reached the phones. Nova sensed what her trainer was about to ask, but felt it was probably better they get whatever would happen out now. She didn't want a repeat of what was supposed to have been a good time just as much as him. The phone continued to ring, and as Isis admitted it was Leon who invited her, Zero let out a weary, exhausted sigh. "I thought so... I guess while you go enjoy yourself then, I'll just get back to training elsewhere." His tone sounded almost distant, trying to keep from sounding particularly saddened, but before they could continue their conversation for long Machina finally picked up.
After Nova got her scarf back and stepped aside, Isis asked her own question, wondering if she could borrow yet another costume. "Sure, don't worry about it. The last costume wasn't that bad anyway," he tried to reassure Isis, before he looked away from the screen for a moment. His gaze stayed there as if he was staring at something--likely Andreas--before he turned back to the matter at hand. "We are about to head out though, not gonna be back for a little while. We'll just leave something out for you in the apartment, you know how to get in right Zero?" Zero nodded. "Good. Have fun at your renaissance fair, you two." The monitor clicked off, the image of Machina blinking away as the call ended.

✿ ❀Isis wasn't surprised to hear that Machina liked making renaissance outfits. "Well the outfits I've seen in that style are quite pretty, so I don't really blame him." Isis chuckled, though the light amusement quickly faded when Zero pointedly asked if Leon was the one who had invited her to the festival. She answered truthfully, albeit hesitantly, knowing Zero's reaction would likely err on the more volatile side. She wasn't wrong, as he let out a weary sigh, insisting that she should go enjoy herself and that he could just get back to training. "What?! No! You've been doing nothing but training as of late. Why don't you come to the fair too? Have some fun, watch some plays, get some masks, take it easy for a little while...." Isis insisted. Part of her wanted to invite him to stay with her and Leon during the fair, but she was pretty sure he'd decline, and Leon wouldn't like it either, she thought dismally. "Why.... Why do you two hate each other so much? I'm pretty sure if you just got to know each other better, you could be friends.... I mean I guess sticking me in the middle of things probably doesn't help, but....." Isis looked frustrated. She couldn't blame them for feeling the way they did towards each other but for Arceus' sake she wished they could at least act civil rather than talking poorly or with tones of contempt behind each other's backs like a couple of schoolgirls. It was getting really tiresome.
Before she could think on the matter any further, or say anything else, Machina appeared on the screen and Isis was briefly distracted with asking him for a costume. He accepted rather casually and suggested that they could leave something out in their apartment room since they needed to leave soon and zero knew how to get in. "O-okay! Thank you!" Isis said appreciatively, and just like that, he was gone, an awkward silence falling between the two friends, Isis mostly because she was trying to bite her tongue as they made their way into the cafeteria and got some breakfast for themselves. Yelling at zero wasn't going to help their situation, so instead Isis brought up a new subject. "Hey.... Yesterday you said you wanted to talk to me about something.... I think now's as good of a time as any." She suggested, sitting across from him in the booth they ended up sitting at with her strawberry and cream cheese crepe. ✿ ❀

Zero let out another sigh, his gaze sticking to the video phone ahead. "Isis, what happened the last time I came along with you to somewhere Leon invited you out to, he whisked you away the moment he found you. And despite my asking you come back at least at some point, I was left to my own devices for the entirety of the Tanabata to stew." He glanced at Isis for a moment, his gaze visibly tired despite just waking up. "I'd rather subject myself to solitude willingly, knowing I won't particularly enjoy myself, than go somewhere meant to be fun and relaxing if it means being miserable by the end like before." The trainer looked away from her again as she tried to question why they couldn't simply be civil about things, clearly frustrated at the situation between them. Before he could answer and respond however, Machina finally picked up the phone, and they got that part of their conversations out of the way.
The silver-haired trainer exhaled as the boy's image blinked away from the screen, before the two trainers made their way to the cafeteria. "To answer your question," he began, "I'm fairly certain we could never get along with the circumstances that surrounded our encounters. First you went off to reverse time, making whatever I might've felt pointless to say, then you suddenly chose not to after learning the consequences. Then upon your return, you continually texted Leon amid our conversations, before we finally headed out to the Tanabata. I might not have been in the best place at the time, but that only made my first real impression of him even worse. Some pretty boy sweeping you off your feet with words that almost sounded like routine, and next thing I knew you were gone. With no updates for how things were going or if you were coming back for the hole Tanabata, and I only got to know where you were after you apparently went to spend the night at his house. You'll have to excuse me if I'm not... Well, by this point you already know what happened next. To be honest I even started to recognize my overreaction until I found you two... well, you know." Zero grimaced, his gaze now bound to the floor facing away from Isis. "At any rate, my point is, it's hard to get over first impressions. Especially when one involves deeply rooted feelings and the other is a hard punch in the... I'm fairly certain it was the face."
About the time they were getting close to their table again, Zero having forgotten to really pick up any breakfast since he... mostly just wasn't familiar with all the foods yet. He slid into the booth, sitting opposite of Isis while Nova sat beside him, boxing him in with out him suspecting a thing. At that point, Isis brought up something he wanted to ask her, which after taking a moment to remember, his gaze finally returned to his old friend. "Oh, right. I almost forgot about that. Well, I wanted to ask you something..." He scratched his head and looked away again, now looking out the window. "I'll be honest; I don't know what to do anymore. I set out to get stronger and find Alex, but nothing's changed since I left the lab that day. Just sinking further and further down the rabbit hole. I intend to beat Wallace and finally get my last badge, but... I don't intend on battling the Elite Four. And I seem to have lost sight of finding Alex." He chuckled to himself, as his gaze then met the table once more. "Looking back I think finding her was just a footnote on my journey; something I could focus on... But there was never any reason for me to think that she ran into something she couldn't handle. And then, along the way... There was you." He paused for a moment, fighting the small smile trying to creep up on his face, before he continued. "But even that focus has passed me by, it seems. I don't know what do do with myself or what to truly work towards. Talking with Andreas last night made me realize... I need something to dedicate myself towards. Something that will allow me to say 'I accomplished something'... But I haven't found anyone- Er, anything new that I can focus on." Now he was just keeping his gaze away from Isis out of a bit of embarrassment, but tried to keep his composure. "So, I wanted to ask you... If you could show me a bit of the world that you passed through in the 'Round the World contest, those years ago." He finally managed to look at Isis again, trying to keep from bringing the mood down anymore than he already was... Which likely wasn't working that well. "If I see a bit more of the world, then maybe I'll be able to find something worth doing."

✿ ❀Isis frowned as Zero recounted his experiences at the Tanabata. "Okay, for one, you were the one who left us. I would have been perfectly fine with you staying, I mean I didn't even really expect that it was a real date. Hell, I didn't even think Leon was serious with his flirting for a good portion of the Tanabata, so I figured that was going to be a get to know each other better friendly sort of date, not like... A date date..." Isis explained. "For two, I told you before at Leon's house; I planned to meet up with you until I ended up falling into the ocean on accident and got my xtransceiver waterlogged, and so I went to his house since it was close by to get my clothes dried and shower off, and during that time I didn't get your texts, nor was I able to get ahold of you and explain what was happening." Isis insisted pointedly with a frown, though frankly with the mess Nova had made of Zero's mind and emotions when she explained all of that, Isis wasn't surprised he didn't remember all that clearly what her side of the story was.
Machina's appearance interrupted their conversation briefly however, and Isis was forced to take a moment out of her frustrated haze to even remember what she had wanted to ask him, but eventually the call was finished, leaving them both with an empty screen and negative residual feelings from the unfinished conversation from before. They walked in silence towards the cafeteria for a moment before Zero eventually decided to answer her other somewhat rhetorical question, but as he talked, it only made the pressure in her chest well up more to to point of forcing back tears. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't plan any of this, I didn't mean for any of this to happen, it just did, and it's not anyone's fault, so I wish you'd stop trying to play the blame game and just... Just...." Isis' frustration was clear in her strained tone and tight expression, but really, what could she say? Tell him to get over it? Tell him to grow up? That wasn't fair. His feelings were valid too, as hard as that made things, Isis couldn't deny that. Isis forced herself to relax and breathe, taking a mental step back, which was a lot easier to do when they entered the cafeteria and she was able to focus on something else for a moment, like picking out her breakfast.
Eventually when she calmed down again, she sat down across from Zero, took a breath, looked Zero in the eye, and continued. "Look.... I'm not saying that it would be easy, or that it should be, for anyone involved.... But Leon really is a nice guy, and as far as first impressions go, he saved your life the first time you two met. So frankly, if it's hard to get over first impressions, and that left you with a bad one, then you have impossible standards." Isis gave a simpering sort of smile and an empty chuckle, one that sounded more like she was forcing a laugh to blow off steam rather than actually feel any sort of amusement or humor as she looked down at her still untouched meal. "To be completely honest, I used to have the same impression you do. He comes off like a womanizer who uses cheesy pickup lines to get girls, that's why I couldn't take him seriously at first, but.... Arceus, it couldn't be farther from the truth. He's just the dorkiest goofball I've ever met, and he's really just a big teddyursa, who cares a lot about his pokemon and other people, and... I know you haven't really seen that side of him, but you haven't exactly been the friendliest to him either.... I'm just.... I hate feeling pulled back and forth, feeling like if I spend too much time with one of you, I'm going to lose the other.... Do you have any idea how hard it is to watch you do things like train so much that you don't sleep for two days? You aren't even taking care of yourself properly any more.... I feel like if I'm not around to make sure you do things like sleep, or eat, you won't. Like if I somehow can't constantly remind you that you're important to me, and needed, and that I care, you just.... Stop, and I can't.... I can't do that all the time. I can't deal with that. I have to know that if I need to do something on my own, or spend time with other people, you aren't going to disappear. I can't lose any more people, I can't. It's not a matter of "not knowing what I'll do if" or how I'll cope anymore. I won't. First it was Natalia and then it was Ebony and now I'm losing you too and I can't...! I don't want to choose, so please...." Isis looked up with a bit of a broken smile, tears slipping down her cheeks. "Please don't make me....!" Her hands trembled, barely able to hold herself together any more. She blinked, tensing when she felt the liquid on her cheeks.
Everything had just started pouring out on autopilot without her even really realizing it until now. "I-I'm sorry...." She whispered, wiping the tears from her eyes. She hadn't meant to fall apart like that, but as of late, it felt harder and harder to hold her fragile cheery persona together. Taking a bite of crepe, Isis changed the subject to the question he had wanted to ask yesterday at the cafe. What she got however, was less of a distraction, and more something that just explained and reinforced the concerns she was having about Zero's well being. Her gaze was still as low as it could possibly go. She hadn't realized how much she'd really meant to him, which of course only made her feel like the scum of the earth, but eventually he got to the point, asking if she could maybe take him to a few places she had visited during that race all those years ago. Then hopefully he might find something to focus on. "You know, I'd suggest getting back into contests again, but... We already had that conversation." Isis suggested with a weak laugh, looking out the window next to their booth. "I wouldn't mind stopping by a few places on the way to Veilstone, and then maybe after the festival, we can visit a few more places if you're still feeling lost...." Isis murmured quietly. ✿ ❀

It seemed as if the two trainers could do little to avoid retreading this same issue. Nova could only watch on as Zero made his point, and Isis did her best to either explain or talk him out of his stupor. She couldn't help but clutch her dress; resigning herself to letting him work it out without her interference, but feeling every raw emotion that welled up in both of them. Even on the surface-level of their minds, the feelings she was privy to were almost crushing. Between the weight of Zero's very being and the burden on Isis, the Gardevoir found herself cursing her inability to truly help in any way. She may have had a view into her trainer's heart, but it only made it harder to be passive as she desperately tugged at the heavy door that threatened to close it off. "Then what am I to do?" He finally asked, trying to keep his voice steady. "Knowing that it's no one's fault... That it's just something out of my hands... Somehow, knowing there's nothing I could do is even worse than being told it's my fault." No longer being powerless was the entire reason Zero set out on his journey to begin with, and yet far too often it seemed he was being struck the the blades of "There was nothing you could do" or "It's no one's fault."
Then they all sat down, Isis started to explain further, and argue against what Zero thought of Leon. Then she just went on and on about the raven-haired male, prompting Zero to further dig his gaze into the ground, only feeling guilty as she tried to convince him. And Nova herself felt her hands clutching each other tightly as Isis went on, further expressing her worry and just letting everything come to the surface. Zero was just shy of shutting his eyes, as tears just began to stream down Isis' cheeks. A gentle, gloved hand rested on the blonde's, clearly shaky as well but hoping to help calm her. Another reached over to wipe some of the tears from her face, as Nova did her best to reassure Isis with a pained, crooked smile. The orange horns on her chest glowed a dim, almost pitiful light, as every ounce of emotion was hitting her just as hard as the trainers.
Nova moved back as the girl did her best to calm down, though left a hand ontop of her own until she went to take a bite out of her crepe. Zero, who'd been slient for this, took a deep breath, leaning his head back as he tried to keep himself together. "...No, no, it's fine Isis. It's not your fault," He stared up at the cieling for a few moments, as if soaking in the artaficial light above him. "I'm sorry... But it doesn't really matter, you already have made your choice." Now it was his turn to face Isis, his own pained expression betraying the smile he tried to give her. "I can't do anything to change that, and I'll just have to learn to respect that..."
After that, they sat in silence for a bit, until Isis managed to change the subject back to Zero. Shaking his head as if to shift mindsets, he explained what he wanted to ask and why, though it just seemed to make Isis feel worse again. He chuckled a bit at her contest comment, but waved it off before she continued on. "Alright then, sounds like a plan... Guess I'll meet you after the festival once we get to Veilstone, then." He ran a hand through his hair, scratching his head with a crooked smile as he tried to jokingly explain what he... quite frankly did fully expect to happen if he went. "Besides, if I go with you and hang out, all that'll happen is Leon passive aggressively pointing out how you picked him over me, and before too long I'll just leave out of frustration anyway."

✿ ❀Isis didn't really have an answer when Zero asked what he was supposed to do. Or rather, she didn't have a good answer, and to prevent herself from saying anything she would regret, she had to take a step back, cool off, and think as she got her breakfast. Eventually she sat back down with another direction to take the conversation, trying to convince Zero that his perception of Leon was wrong, though not unjustified, and that she too hadn't had the greatest impression of him at first, but as she continued, she found herself pouring out all of her thoughts and fears and feelings. She couldn't stop, not until she begged Zero not to make her choose between him and Leon. It was only then she'd realized what she was doing and saying, taking some comfort in Nova's touch, a gloved hand resting on hers and another helping dry her tears. Eventually Isis apologized quietly, she hadn't meant to unload everything like that, but it had been building up for so long, she just couldn't hold it back any more. Zero insisted it wasn't her fault, but that it didn't really matter since she already made her choice. ".....That's not what I'm talking about." Isis said quietly, but pointedly, her expression rigid and hollow. She had chosen Leon as her boyfriend and he would have to respect that decision, Zero was right in that regard, but that wasn't the decision she had been referring to. She felt like they were making her choose who to have in her life in general, like either she spent time with Leon and her other friends and Zero would make himself disappear because he didn't feel needed, or she spent all her time with Zero so that he did feel needed but she couldn't leave him alone, so she'd effectively be cutting ties with anyone and everyone else in her life. It was selfish, yes, but even though she had chosen to stick with her relationship with Leon, she didn't want to lose Zero as a friend, or just as a person in her life in general.
With a sigh, Isis began picking at her crepe, figuring she should probably eat. She looked for a different conversation as well, inquiring what Zero had wanted to talk to her about the previous day at the cafe. The following conversation of course only reinforced all of her worries, but Isis was already so drained from her earlier outburst that she didn't have the energy to start arguing or crying again, so she just softly agreed to visit a few places on their way to Veilstone and then promising that they could travel more after the fair if he wanted, but when Zero insisted to continue portraying what would happen at the fair if he went, Isis gave him a look. "You know, the main reason he did that at his house is because you punched him in the face. He's not an a**." Isis insisted. "This is exactly what I'm talking about, if you both would just--!" Isis cut herself off, sighing wearily. She didn't have the energy for this. It had been a long night, she was hungry and yet her stomach was so knotted that she had a hard time thinking of even putting food in her mouth, and she had stayed up longer than usual having fun and talking to Du. "If you don't want to go then fine, but just... Stop explaining why, because I'm not listening to that throughout the entire trip." Isis scowled. "You have your opinion of him, and I have mine, let's just... Agree to disagree and drop it." Isis stood abruptly, taking her half eaten crepe and dumping it in the trash. "I'll be outside when you're ready to leave." She insisted, making her way out of the center and releasing Nocturne, getting herself set up on the Noivern's back to fly and pulling up her xtransceiver to send Du a quick text to let her know what was going on, but first she noticed that Leon had texted her back, suggesting that she would look good no matter what she wore, and was looking forward to seeing her. Isis smiled at that, but didn't think it was necessary to text him back since she assumed she would be seeing him soon, so instead she texted Du.

I didn't want to wake you, but Leon invited me to a renaissance festival over by Anville Town in Unova, so I'm gonna do some traveling with Zero to get a costume from Machina and meet him there. Maybe if you're interested, you could join us! For now though, I hope you get your beauty sleep, and thanks for yesterday, it was a lot of fun~ <3
Isis sent the text and then sighed. She had felt a brief reprieve in texting Du, but now it was gone, and she had to anxiously wait for Zero to come meet her and prep Ashen for their trip. Once he was ready, Isis took off, heading for the Kanto region. ✿ ❀

After effectively going in circles on thier feelings, the two eventually tired each other out on the subject, though that didn't stop Zero from expressing why he wasn't so keen on going anywhere near Leon. "Yes, well, that's presicely the problem, Isis. I'll admit, I don't know him very well, but the blood between us is still pretty bad, and if he hasn't let that go anymore than I have, then I'm fairly sure that's all the reason he'll need to show off. Prolly got a punch for me once you're not looking, though to be honest I pretty much deserve that one." He scratched his head and looked away awkwardly as Isis finally stormed off, leaving Zero alone with his Gardevoir to cool off. Shaking his head as if to loose the current mindset free, he scooted down the booth, deciding to exit. "Come on, Nova, we should go catch up-" He stopped himself as he found himself pushed up against Nova, who refused to move an inch.
Zero was legitimately surprised when he looked at her to see a subdued, but still very angry expression in the Gardevoir's gaze, as well as her unwillingness to let him get out. She'd psychically kept herself in place, so that her trainer couldn't get out. "You're going with her, Zero." She said flatly, surprising the silver-haired trainer with just how firmly she meant it. He opened his mouth to respond, but her voice rang out in his mind again before he could speak. "Do it or I'll give Isis the mental picture of all the times you cut a jig when no one's looking."
Zero flared up at this, his face red with embarassment as he tried to quickly grab his Gardevoir. "You little-" Suddenly Nova slipped out of the booth, floating slightly above the ground as her trainer hugged the open air and fell forward, lying on the booth seat. He grumbled something and looked up at her, still seeing a firm gaze that meant she was serious. With a sigh, he sat back up, scooted out of the booth, and started off to rejoin Isis. "...Fine, I'll go to that Renfest thing with her, once we finish our running around."
While Zero's back was turned, Nova's smile widened, before disappearing entirely as she exhaled quietly. She hadn't quite realized she was holding her breath, and her arms slumped to her sides in fatigue. She had to give her trainer credit; being a convincing actor was certainly more tiring than he let on. She'd just scowered his mind for reference, but she wasn't exactly prepared for that facade in full. Regardless, she managed to get what she wanted, and soon they rejoined Isis, who was already out on Nocturne. Zero let out Ashen and climbed on his back, Isis following suit so she could psychically attach all of them together. Before they took off, Nova's voice rang out in Isis' head, easily heard despite the loud flapping of wings that soon followed. "He's coming along~ Remind me to tell you something when we land, it should be helpful trying to convince Zero to do these kind of fun things more often."

Du covered her mouth as she yawned. She had gotten a text message from Isis letting her know that she had already left and that she was going to some sort of fair with Leon. Du was sure there was an opportunity for teasing somewhere in there, but right now she was just too tired to really think of one. Du trotted through the streets towards the Northern part of the city, she really needed to get back to Celestic town so that she could start her Contests. She had been distracting herself for too long and now it was time to dive into things. She had collected all she needed in order to start Niamh off, but she still needed to make her dress and get some poffins going. She was close enough that she could probably only needed a couple more days to finally get going on things. All she needed to worry about was her dress and that was about it. Du’s grogginess was starting to wear off at the idea of actually getting started Coordinating. She was both excited and nervous at the same time and wondered what sorts of other contestants would be there and what they would be like? From previous conversations with Isis, she was probably going to have to put up with a lot of stuck up and snobby people because of her choice in going with the Beauty category first. That wasn’t something to look forwards too, but maybe there were a few people like her that just wanted to have fun with all of this? Only time would tell, she supposed. Right now, she had a few more things to do before then.

Gio knew the quickest way to the train station was through the market place. It seemed like today there was a more natural market going on today. The first thing that caught his eye was a strange looking Pinecone. That was in a pile of what looked liked Big Mushrooms. "Excuse me sir, what is this item here?" the shop owner gave Gio a confused look as he walked over to look at what the young man was talking about. Upon turning it over he realised it was a Pokemon. "This is a Pokemon, probably eating my crop. Gah" he went to go throw the Pokemon as if disgusted by it. Gio on the other hand caught the tiny hand sized Pokemon and was feeling sorry for it. So he took his bandanna off and fixed it to look like a sling, in which he fixed the tiny Pokemon into it. The Pokemon gave a tiny cry as if happy to be sheltered from the heavy winds. Gio also noticed the the shop owner was throwing out the Big Mushrooms in which it had touched so Gio went and picked those up as well. Six in total and that made Gio pretty happy. Gio, Lucario and their new friend made it out of the mart and into the next half of the city.

After some fiddling, Mel was able to actually pull up Blue's information. It was a feat and a victory, and it gave her the opportunity to get to know the pokedex a bit. She blinked, though, when she actually had the information in front of her. "What in the..." she murmured. "What?" Brian asked, craning over to look, "Did Kiara li-- whoa." They both looked in surprise at the moves on Blue's page. Blizzard and Drill Run? Mel didn't even know he could learn a ground type move! Wasn't that supposed to be sort of... impossible? He was a water type... And blizzard? As far as she knew, that was a pretty strong ice type. How did he even learn these moves...? She looked at it, then shook her head a bit, tucking the pokedex away. She would have to ask Z or Blue if they knew. And speaking of the goldeen, that brought up another matter....
