I have to say Star Treck. Star Wars has no relation to earth but is still full of humans. It´s just unrealistic.

Do you ever wonder what happens to the words that we send
I gotta throw in my hand for Star Trek. Star Wars is great, it has Han and Obi-Wan, but I love Jean Luc Picard, Data, and Jordi more. I'm a fan of Next Generation and Voyager.
Do they bend, do they break, from the flight that they take and come back together again

I have to say Star Wars because of all the random creatures they have in it. And I'm a Han Solo fan just cause he is funny and cool.

I really like both and have a hard time deciding which is my favorite. I might like Star Trek just a bit more.

I've been a Star Wars fan for as long as I can remember.
Are any fellow fans here into the Expanded Universe, or just the movies?

I like them both, but I would have to say Star Wars. I'm more into fantasy, so it would make sense I would lean that way. That and I loved the game Knights of the Old Republic and that renewed my love of Star Wars.
And of Star Trek, I'm a NG fan.

Oh man this is evil
Both rock...............well actually the original 3 star wars rocked. IV, V, and VI were the best star wars the newer ones sucked.
But Star Trek is also awesome
I can't choose between the two of them crying

Star Trek! All of them! It's about our future. It's a hopeful vision of what we can become. That world peace is possible and someday disease, poverty, and crime on Earth will be but elements in stories of the past.
Star Wars can't match that. Hello, "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away." Plus the name hardly inspires peace. Don't get me wrong, Star Wars is a cool movie and is definitely worth watching but in my opinion Star Trek is better.

Star Wars. I grew up loving 4-6 and then became a renewed fan with 1-3. I watch Star Trek, I even like some of the storylines. I like DS9 and Voyager most, which generally gets me growled out, but then again I don't care. I like Star Wars because it doesn't rely on known Physics, I don't watch movies/shows to see reality, I watch to escape it. The explanation that Roddenberry gives for all of the humanoid life in Star Trek just made me think ick. Human DNA spread through the universe to equalize all life. Creepy. At least that's how it was explained to me.

Trekkie all the way. Don't get me wrong, they're both good, but Star Trek tromps Star wars any day. Like if I'm sitting around the house and I'm bored it's all like: "hey, let's watch some Star Trek." ya know. You don't just sit down whenever to watch star wars.
As far as the books go though... it's pretty much equal for me.
