Good night kiss by RL Stine. It's just a more or less one hundred page book. biggrin
I've read Twilight too, but I didn't really like it. I think the story has too many romantic scenes -- yeah, I know it's a vampire romance novel, but Meyer overdid it.

Darren Shan is a good author his series about vampires is called The Saga of Darren Shan.
There's also a series by Justin Somper that mixes vampires and pirates, it's called Vampirates.
I think both of these are really good biggrin

Naiad9 Yeah, Eclipse is the end of the Twilight trilogy. I thought it was very good and beautifully written, but sort of disappointing. I really hope she writes a second trilogy about the third wheel of the vampire-human-werewolf thingy. I felt really bad for Jacob. Well, life ain't fair I guess. And even though they aren't vampire books, but check out Karen Marie Moning. One of the best authors ever, I swear. And the Meredith Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton. The woman is a genius. I sing her praises. No it's not. She's writing another one called Breaking Dawn. Also, I know a good webcomic. But it's probably not to your tastes. It's called Last Blood. Link this way.

If you love vampires and mythology I would strongly suggest reading the Dark Hunter series by Sherrylin Kenyon.

Blue Bloods and Masquerade are awesome, I think the author is Melissa de La Cruz. That's all I can think of right now...

ihua You could always try Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles. They're kinda draggy, but if you're a patient enough person, the books are quite a good read. Tale of the Body Thief's a personal favourite xd this is what I was going to suggest, I love the books

Sindeira Another author, who has won over my heart, goes by the name of Kim Hamilton. The series begins with Dead Witch Walking, where you'll meet Rachel, Ivy, and Jenks. And L.J. Smith's collection, The Vampire Diaries, is full of love and tormented devotion. How could you resist? I agree with The Vampire Diaries, they are really great books. If you like surprises in books, then this is the one for you. 3nodding

Bran Bran the raven man Im reading a book called the vampire Armand. Its really good so far. The Vampire Armand is the worst book in the entire Vampire Chronicles/New Tales of the Vampires. I've never understood why Armand was so popular, Marius is far more interesting and Blood and Gold is a far better book. Also, why are you starting in the middle of the series? 'Cause it sounds like you haven't read the other books.
