how to defeat septhiroth

I've tried over and over again on KH1, and I've never been able to do it.
But in KH2 it was easy. Then again, I started on Easy Mode. ^^;;

I agree with Silver, he did go weak.

I disagree.. I think that Sephiroth got a lot harder transisitoning to KH2.. but it was easier once you knew what you were doing... and if you at least tried to fight him in KH1

The only difference is that he (Sephiroth) doesn't have his "heartless angel" (or whatever it's called) attack that takes your HP and Magic down to nothing.

Kh1 Sephy just needs some getting use to and learning strategy.. I swear it took me 50 tries to beat him, but after that I could go 3 rounds against him without losing.. 3nodding

fighting sephiroth is fun, i like killing him over and over so i saved a file juts to fight sephiroth over and over in kh2 but i can't beat him in kh1 he always kills me to fast, even the ice titan was hard and i barely beat him

Yeah.. I wished I did that... I'm probably going to do that with my expert file on KH2..

What level are you at for KH1 when you're fighting Sephiroth? You need to be at least 68+ and have Curaga

you can either take the hit or attempt to hit the orbs, the orbs you hit go flying away from you and the ones you miss, well, they hit you.

What level are you at for KH1 when you're fighting Sephiroth? You need to be at least 68+ and have Curaga

~you will need to be at least lvl 80

~have all your spell at the "-ga" level (ex- fire-> fira-> firaga)

~have all your items set as "elixer" or "megalixer"

~Sephiroth in the first game can be broken down into three parts.

~~the first part is the easist of the three. sword attacks, warping, and a fire wall or two.

~~the second part, he gets faster and unleashes some new attacks like the "heartless angal" move, this move will drain your MP and HP. quickly use an elixer or megalixer to save yourself.

~~the third part, he gets a shadowy aura around him and he unleashes i think two more attacks. in this mode, he will begin warping more often and really piss you off. just be calm and patient.

In KH1? Yeah.. it would be a challenge for KH1 Sora.. unless you have aeraga and curaga... which are the only two magics that you need and a crap load of elixers

In KH2... you really need to have all your forms maxed out so that you have high jump, glide, aerial jump for just normal Sora.. which makes him a hell of a lot faster than running and makes Sephiroth easier to hit.. I don't remember what level I was at.. but I beat the game at 53... so I'm not sure what level makes it the easiest... (I'm trying to level up my forms to beat him on proud mode ninja )
