Schizophrenic Demon my first anime and im not talking about the lil anime shows on cartoon network and toonami im talkin real actuall hardcore guns blazin blood gushing people dieing anime was blue submarine. after that first viewing i was freaking addicted...but of course since i wathced it at a young age and none the less on tv i didn't know what it was called....so for the last couple of years i had been searching and finally about a month ago my brother told me he had it......talk about a joy i about kissed him i watched it over and over it was just as i rembered the beauty of it was magnificent and that was my first anime and my favorite. you're talking about Blue Sub No. 6, right? confused if so, I believe it first premiered on Toonami... well, at least where I lived. oh well! Blue Sub No. 6 was pretty awesome! I really liked the music for it! 3nodding

I don't remember all of the shows I watched as a kid (they included Sailor Moon, DBZ, and Samurai Pizza Cats), but I do remember that I would refuse to watch superhero shows and other American animation because I didn't like the way it was drawn. I was the world's youngest art critic. whee
I now go to an art school where they won't let me draw the very things that have always aesthetically appealed to me, simply on the grounds that massive amounts of other people happen to like it too. Go figure.

For me it was either Astro boy or Robotech. One of those I can't remember.

I do not remember the name but , I do know it was about a robot who
was made like a little boy. It might have been called Astro Boy. smile

Ya mine was Sailor Moon, when I was like 5. I don't think I ever really noticed the difference between japanese animation and american animation until I was about 10. After all until I found anime on cartoon network the only anime I ever watched was Sailor Moon.
Either way I don't think Sailor Moon was that bloody anyway, especially compared to the other animes I watch now.

My first anime was Sailor Moon when I was about four or five years old. I found out about it because my sister, who is two years older than me, used to watch it on Fox13. I usually didn't watch it with her, but I do remember watching a couple of episodes with her.

I remember mine for definite. DBZ, as I remember I was up early to have breakfast before I went to the local stables for a spot of stable management education and a riding lesson ^.^;
that was when i was 12 ( a whole 9 years ago) I forgot about anime then until i was about 15 when we actually go CNX (the old toonami)
(Sadly I'm still a DBZ fan, but having seen over 60 anime's since, I'm entitiled to my opinion)
