Does music influence your mood?

Music absolutely influences my mood. I don't know a person who isn't that way. Music is powerful. If I am in a bad mood, and I actually want to start being happy again, I put on some music that I know will put me in a good mood. biggrin Music is amazing!

It's interesting that you aks this. Thursday in my drama class we did this excerise. My teacher put up a painting of like this lake and forest and stuff and had us take out a sheet of paper and a pencil. She played some happy floaty music and told us to write down what we saw or felt while looking at the pictue while the music played. She stoped the music about three minutes later and had us share. Most of the answers were happy, sunny, bright, etc. Then she had us make another column. She told us to do the same thing we just did...but this time she put in dark, evil, monk chanting, haunty music. Then we saw everything in a totally different perspective and felt way different too. So I would have to say if any person does that excersize they can be showed that music does make an effect on your mood. That is why they have music in movies. When jaws comes towards the boat you hear the bum bum bum bum, etc. They put the music in to set the mood. So yes I know that music can make or break my mood.
