music became me. i was literally an inch from death and had nothing to live for until a song stopped me. Now it keeps my sanity and shuts my mind up at night.

Akvan Ren kamishin music became me. i was literally an inch from death and had nothing to live for until a song stopped me. Now it keeps my sanity and shuts my mind up at night. Really? How so? i dunno it was weird. if i listen to music it'll give my mind something to focus on that way i can try and sleep. And about the inch from death part... i had a knife to my throat and was starting to slice it open but then "the song" stopped me (cage by dir en grey)

I love music and my favourite genre is jazz; both vocal and instrumental. I don't know what it is about it, but jazz makes me feel at ease, especially when I'm upset about something. heart

I'm more of a Metalhead, but I can appreciate Jazz, Electronica, and some Rock. Again, I'm more into Metal music but I wish not to post my opinions in the Metal forum due to the abysmal stupidity and smart-assedness flying around there.

For me and lots of us, living without music would be like trying to live without breathing or our hearts beating. It wouldn't work out. I've always got a tune going through my head.

Most of the posts here are very shallow.. Shouldn't it be required to post more than 'YA I  MUZEK!!' or anything of the like? I personally can't go a day without music. Even if it's only one song, I'd die without that one song. I play guitar and such. Love instrumental stuff.
