i never liked the way Jacob stole Esau's blessing, in Genesis.
if it's a real blessing, how can anybody steal it from you?

Blessings and curses are just words. What determines whether its a blessing or a curse is persepctive. I consider my abilities a curse, but others would consider them a gift from God.

koreanusher blessing are from God........ and..... curses are from Satan[: curses can be from God too. ex) after moses led the hebrews out of egypt and they finally arrived at the promised land. it was beautiful, everything they've imagined. but, the land was already inhabited by these huge people. and all the hebrews were scared of them except two guys, i forgot their names but they said, "we can take these guys! because God is mightier than them, he will help us." but the majority still coward if fear, and wanted to kill the two men and go back to egypt. this really displeased God, and as punishment he cursed them to wander the desert until every last one of them died.

Both God and Satan can give curses and blessings. It doesnt matter where they come from.

Reality check:
Curses and blessings are magic. Magic has now been replaced by common sense and science.
Just reminding you. <3

xX.Fatuous.Mixture.Xx Reality check:

Just reminding you. <3 ah, you have so much to learn. this "magic" is very real. its not magic though. we humans are not of this world, we're all super natural beings placed in human form on this earth. we are capable of so much more than most people in this day and age think. if you're gonna settle for some BS scientific explination how everything is. than you're really cutting yourself short. science hasn't been around too long, there is still so much they can't explain.

Through science, we can truly discover God.

i am disappointed with science.
it has brought us pollution, agent orange and other health horrors, and attempted to take the wonder out of life.
we have made a religion of science, in my opinion; the priests/scientists wear uniforms (lab coats instead of robes) they speak a specialized language yes, they do indeed take credit for blessings and curses, and they are the expert inner circle while everyone else is "laity".

Science has given us many good things aswell. Through science we had cured otherwise in-curable illness, and soon, through science, we are going to discover the 'death' gene. The one that makes us die, and elliminate it. Then man will be immortal. Like myself, and many others.

in my opinion, a world full of immortals would be a horror story.
there would be no room for children, of course.
so society's ideas and opinions would inevitably get old and stagnant.,
there would be no new art, literature, philosophy, music or anything creative at all; it would all be a rehash of prior creations, working for "style points".
maybe we need death in order to make room for creativity.

And that is exactly why so many people are against it. I personally dont care, because by the time they descover it, nothing will really matter anymore. Dont ask me to explain that, because I cant.

chessiejo i never liked the way Jacob stole Esau's blessing, in Genesis. if it's a real blessing, how can anybody steal it from you? Well, the Ishlam consider Blessings as if they were gifts from above, so whenever they bless one another, it's like exchanging currency. I've even heard stories of how a Muslim got mad at a non-Muslim for mistakenly blessing him. He even asked the blessing back...
But on another note, I remember this funny prayer: Lord, give me patience to withstand my boss give me love to understand him give me willpower to follow his orders don't give me strength.... 'causeif you do, I'll crack his skull open with the filer!!
