The conjoined pair look up at the star, both quiet as they ponder on hazy memories. "Once, we had a brother." Sonkai starts.
Cam nods, "We were young, but we remember playing in a field. He would toss jingling bells into the tall grass for us to hunt and pounce."
"He helped us learn to work together. To appreciate each other. He showed us that we were stronger being two." Sonkai falls silent to the memories.
"He was older. He lost his basket brother and was lonely without his voice. One day he wandered away and we never saw him again." Cam explains.
"But we miss him. Maybe, if your light shines on him, you can show him the way home." Sonkai places a copper bell directly in the light of the star.
The pair stand for a moment longer before making their way back down and rejoin their herd.

Pleia leaves a piece of her long gorgeous mane as an offering to show her sincerity of her request. Short IC Response: Pleia approaches serenely and gazes around in wonder at what is before her. The sky has colors she has never seen before and she is captivated. Then shaking her head she snaps out of her fascination and whispers "I am looking for my beloved brother, we were separated when I appeared when someone wished for me. Please find it acceptable to return him to me." "As the days go by, I miss him more. He was my best friend, my confidant and my protector. A feather from her father's tail. Short IC Response: Cleo looked up to the silent and indifferent stars above, as she did many nights, and wondered as she was want to do, where her mother might be. Separated by storm and threat, she hadn't seem Aleera since she was just a filly, but she remembered her enough to miss her. She knew that her father put on a brave face in her absence, tried to be both mother and father... he did a fine job, Cleo fancied. She looked inward at herself, who she wants, what she stood for. A fine job indeed. But still...
"If you are real," she asked the winking stars in the black heavens. "Please bring mother home. Father says that the pain of missing her has passed but... I know it hasn't. Time has not healed either of our wounds in her absence."
She laid her father's bright orange feather on the stones at her feet.
"Mother loved father's feathers. Envied his wings and his tail. I remember her tucked beneath them as he soothed and protected her. I remember her cleaning my own wings with such care. The more you are like your father, she used to say, the better. Whatever that meant."
Cleo kept her eyes on the stars for several long moments, as though waiting for an answer, and then heaved a great sigh. She left more dejected than hopeful. And maybe a little foolish.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? A broken bone from Boum'ba's tail, one of Arsu's candles tied with a ribbon made from hair from both of them. Short IC Response: Arsu let out a heavy sigh as she pushed the candle lovingly decorated with the piece of her mate's tail that he had willingly broken off upon hearing her plan and tied with hair from the two in a ribbon onto the alter. They had been trying for so long to start their own family without success that they were starting to fear that they had been cursed. Prayers, offerings, and sacrifices all went unanswered to their traditional deities. It left the young couple desperate and looking for outside assistance.

"Please dear star, as one of your beloved children I beg for your help. Let me and my mate be blessed with life of our own that we might cherish and love." One of the many stones from Azure's accessories along with seeds from the first summer fruit Unesdala Aisgi ate, wrapped in the first autumn leaf they found together. Short IC Response: It had been a long time since Azure had lasted spotted the star. Not since it had gifted her with three wonderful children many seasons ago - more bundles of joy for her and Unes to cherish together. So when she'd first heard whispers of its return, she had excitedly gone to her mate in the wee hours of the night, nudging him awake and insisting that he follow. It wasn't a particularly long trek to her chosen offering spot, but she felt it best be done when the night was at its darkest and the star at its brightest, her little bundled offering carefully balanced on her back between her wings.
She only set it down when they reached the very top of the hill she'd chosen, the deep red leaf they'd found still buttery soft and flexible enough to keep the stone and seeds inside. And then she looked to the star, eyes wide with wonder.
"Hello, Mister Star? Or is it Miss Star? It's been a long time, but I'd really like to be a mother again! You've helped me before. Maybe you can help me again?"
Unes nuzzled his mate before looking up to the star himself, calm smile on his muzzle. "I, too, wish for foals. They bring a joy unmatched to our lives and the lives of those around us."

It's hard to say just any little one thing... But I suppose I rather like witchy things like divination and spells! Is that good enough? 10 Things I Like: Winged familiars, glowing eyes, feathers, fluffiness, crystals/gemstones, natural markings, elaborate facial markings, celestial themes, frostbite, mythological creatures. 10 Things I Don't Like: Old familiar templates, aquatic familiars, clone familiars, overly bright/neon colors, muddy colors, clashing color combinations, fully clothed familiars. What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? A whole witchy ritual! Lit unscented candles, stones, dried herbs and flowers, a shallow stone bowl of blessed water, and lightly scented incense.

There weren't too many, familiars or ponies alike, that would dare to approach the small usdia. A pristine peacock feather that's very much dilute and nearly pure white, along with one of her own feathers molted from her head, and a feather from Payton's wings. There's also a bowl of water that reflects the starlight and has the silver necklace and clear quartz gems attached gleam and glint, with the end of the necklace weighing down and wound around the base of the feathers so they don't drift away. Her chosen spot is one that was precisely picked, as there's one Queen of the Night blooming right amidst the offering. A most auspicious event in time with the reappearance of the Star! Short IC Response: The journey had been long, and not without struggle to slosh the water from within the dark wooden bowl, polished smooth from use, care, and craft. Aria's rich cinnabar eyes peered down at the delicate feathers bound by the necklace chain, the ripples of the settling water winking in the starlight that seemed to enhance the gleam of the small quartz crystals attached to the necklace within the water.
It was fitting, she supposed, that she should bring these items bound together in love, with the fresh clarity of water to give clear intent to the star(s) rumoured to grant wishes above. She had five children, all grown, but she couldn't deny her heart wished and hoped for more, would love them no matter what, and help them learn to defend themselves should Samsara ever rear her head again to terrorize their family.
While she couldn't claim herself a true warrior, her heart and mind were sound and stout and enduring, just like her love for her family and for Payton.
"I know that even if you do not grant my wish this night, the future still has plenty of blessings for me, for us. Know that I have nothing but gratitude in my heart," She murmured into the water, then turned and tipped and lifted her head to speak to the stars in the heavens above. She shook her mane back, the feathers attached to her brow whispering with her thick, lengthy locks. A smile lit her eyes, her countenance, and she heaved a sweet breath out. "May your blessings return to you tenfold."
