When Kira turned her attention away from Seiya and Taiki, Yaten felt as if time came to a stand still. As if it were just the two of them, with how her dreamy expression faded from view. Not really thinking about skin-to-skin contact at that moment. The moment he touched her, there was that static sensation roaming between the two of them. Watching Kira's expression shift from awe to shock? It made him wonder what happened. For a brief, fleeting amount of time it appeared Kira was locked in some kind of a trance. When she snapped out of it she gasped, almost frightened. At the time that occured, something glowing along her forehead caught Yaten's attention.

'Woah! Did the others notice that!? Or was it just me imagining things?' Since Seiya and Taiki were out of Yaten's range, he would ask them soon if they might have seen something out of the ordinary. Swallowing slightly as his emerald eyes remained focused on Kira's strange behavior.

"...Friends?"
User Image

There she was! Finally, Kira appeared more grounded than just a minute or two ago. Smiling back at her in a reassuring manner. "Yes. Friends." Feeling Kira's hand settle on top of his, caused the smile present to widen as Yaten kept eye contact with Kira.

"Friends... The person who raised me, she told me to make new friends and..." Watching Kira's line of sight drift over towards the shrine then back at him. Yaten really wanted to know who treated Kira unfairly. His blood was boiling, practically on fire! Absolutely livid that someone in the Sailor Senshi mistreated her and made Kira feel unwelcome. Yaten wanted to kick their damn teeth in, among a few other things. Doing his best, to appear calm on the outside, he knew that the moment that they had to depart and attend the meeting. He was going to personally seek the sonvabitch out! Whoever it was.. crossed a line and made it personal!

"Maybe some I can't call friends... but it makes me happy knowing I have you three as friends." Kira's next action caught Yaten by surprise, since he was trying to keep the 'friend boundaries' and 'personal space bubble' up by being polite and gentlemanly like present. His smile slightly faltered when he saw Kira remove her hand, only to move in closer and hug him closely to her body. Yaten's cheeks almost instantly turned a blushing rose color in response. His stunned expression relaxed after a bit of time seemed to pass. Reaching up to gently hug Kira back. He just knew later he'd receive all types of crap from Taiki and Seiya. But for now. It was just the two of them ... with an audience. By the way Kira was hugging him, it was obvious she was carrying a humongous amount of weight and needed that connection.

That comfort.
Friendly and yet, intimate embrace.

Yaten's ear perked up, as he heard Kira whisper, "Thank you... for your kind words." Yaten replied in a whisper in return, "My pleasure, Kira. I meant every word I said." Gently reaching up with one hand to brush the fallen hair away from Kira's face. Looking at Kira appearing to be a little more at peace within his arms. He was certain if it was someone else was in his shoes that she did this too, they might of take advantage of her. And he didn't want to be that person. He stood there, as long as she needed him to be there. Someone, Kira could talk to. Someone who cares a great deal about her well being.

"Mm?..."

Feeling as though she was moving, Yaten looked down at Kira with a gentle smile in response. Almost instantly, he witnessed her cheeks blossom in a much brighter tone of red and backing up and away from him embarrassed. Quirking an eyebrow, he slowly cast a glance behind him where he caught Taiki in a position of doubling over in laughter. And Seiya trying to remain all serious in this moment. Closing his eyes that rolled beneath his eyelids, here we go.. he thought to himself.

"Well done, it's about time... are you both going to kiss yet?"

Yaten's gaze shifted from Taiki over towards the applauding Seiya who had a smug expression. He could already feel the teasing as the look he received just spelled everything out. The question, are you both going to kiss yet? Oh, how Yaten did want to kiss Kira. However, he was being respectful of which and what boundaries were allowed to cross presently. Knowing that both Seiya and Taiki were getting a big kick out of the who situation between the two of them.

"S-Sorry! I uh, don't usually get like that! I have no idea where that came from! hahahaaahh...this is getting awkward..."

"What's wrong with you? Hey! What is it? Tell me! Tell me already!"

"Yes, you have us as friends like Yaten said. We'll be here for you. I'm sorry to cut this moment short but we should get going to our meeting, right Seiya?"

"Huh? Meeting?... Oh, yeah. That meeting. Well I mean we can stay a bit longer--ohHH"

Glaring over at Taiki who was able to recover quite quickly before making an announcement that they were running late for a meeting. A death glare was all he received from Yaten then. 'They must have done something, to cause Kira to get embarrassed. Har-umph!' Yaten thought to himself then, his jaw tightening slightly as he stared purposely over at Taiki then. Yaten was not amused. Now, Seiya was throwing in his two cents to the pile. Releasing a sigh, as he felt his blood pressure rising along with his broody expression. Grateful that Kira had her back to him then and could not see Yaten's expressions being shared between Seiya and Taiki then.

"And what about you, Kira? Will you not go back to the Shrine?"
"...No. I don't think I need to be there anymore."
Yaten froze slightly, not before returning his attention back at Kira after that comment. Studying her features which shifted once again as she spoke up, "--I mean... I feel A L O T better thanks to you three, I don't want this mood to be ruined again. And besides... I have waaaay more important things to do when I get home!"

"That's good, don't let anything ruin that mood."
"I won't! And again, thank you so much. Honestly, I feel like I'm dreaming right now and it's been hard to contain the excitement, it really has. oh my gosh, I'm so sorry you are probably sick of me fangirling!"
"No, not at all."
"It's been such an honor, As much as I want to keep talking...I don't want to make you late for your meeting."

Oh boy! Seeing how Kira's words triggered Seiya to boldly move over and wrap his arm around Kira's shoulders just to get a reaction out of him.

"An honor? The honor is meeting you, Kira. Right Yaten?" Yaten's tongue was sucked in so hard, as he did his best to refrain from commenting right away. Knowing just how much Seiya was enjoying this moment. Yaten was absolutely fuming as to how his bandmates were acting. But then again, he reminded himself of how he and Taiki did the same thing to Seiya when he was falling for a certain Odango Princess.

"I'm sure you'll see him again really soon."

There was an apparent eye twitch that only Seiya and Taiki would have seen. As Yaten's lips pursed together to form a sideways smile, "Yes." Doing his best to disguise his un-amused tone. "That you will see me again... sometime soon, Kira."

"Our meeting isn't really important either... but I'm glad you are feeling a lot better. We should all hang out together, do something fun."

Yaten canted his head to the side, seeing the look that Seiya was giving him. He knew he wasn't going to win this round of teasing. His tense shoulders relaxed somewhat, knowing he deserved every ounce of it! Seeing Seiya finally step away from Kira and over to where he was at.

"We really do mean we are here for you. In more ways than one... we don't want you being alone."

Finally! Some legit seriousness!! Glad to finally hear the same concern for Kira coming forth from someone else. If Taiki was serious among trying not to snicker so loudly earlier, he might of heard his concerns for Kira as well. But Yaten was fuming after witnessing Taiki practically doubled over in purposely-hushed-laughter. Yaten did know that somewhere in Taiki's brainpan, that he too, did legitimately care for Kira's well being. It was just hard to see behind all of the teasing facial and body expressions he had on display.

"Kira... the truth is...we're reall--"

A loud beeping noise came forth from their communicator watches, which cut Seiya off in completing what he was about to say. Everyone's facial expressions went from humorous to serious in a matter of seconds. Glancing down at his own wristband communicator, silencing the alarm for the time being. Yaten's stance became tense once more. He knew that they needed to attend the meeting. But hearing that Kira would be going home by herself, caused concern. Especially in this day and time with recent events. Yaten was not at all comfortable with the knowledge that she'd be heading home alone. Not that she couldn't take care of herself it was just a safety issue.

"The meeting is about to start..." Wow... did Seiya sound disappointed... on the verge of sad? Or was Yaten reading too much between the lines? "I'm sorry Kira. Will you be alright to go home on your own?"

Before Kira would have an opportunity to respond, Yaten spoke up then. Very boldly, I might add. "Kira, you don't need to be walking home alone. Not with...all the craziness that has been going on." Walking past Seiya, approaching Kira with apparent concern for her safety. "I would feel much better knowing that you got home safely, if I at the very least walked you to the door of your home." Looking at her with a pleading expression. If his actions didn't speak louder than his words. It was more than obvious that Yaten cared a great deal for Kira.

He knew that Seiya and Taiki would be fine if they were to head to the meeting without him. As he stood there before Kira, awaiting her answer.

"Kira, you don't need to be walking home alone. Not with...all the craziness that has been going on." Watching Yaten pass by Seiya, and approach Kira once again closely. "I would feel much better knowing that you got home safely, if I at the very least walked you to the door of your home."

A few seconds went by as Kira was trying to process everything they said. Was this real? Why were they so worried for her safety?

"I..." pausing for a moment, Kira could feel her heart racing again, it was a familiar feeling that she couldn't really shake off. The light blush appeared again as she had to respond, knowing she already left it for a few seconds.

"U-Uh? S-safely? But... heh ahaha... y-you don't need to walk me home! although I'm not saying no either..." Kira mumbled that last part, looking away for a moment, then back at Yaten.

"Wait a second... is this a dream? You know this sort of thing only happens in dreams, right? Or am I dead? That would make so much more sense if I was..." having a brief flashback about all the events from her being sent from Planet Jupiter to Earth, nothing really has made any sense to her since then.

Putting both her hands together, Kira pinched the top of her hand to make sure it wasn't a dream, inflicting pain to make sure everything was real enough. "That's strange... I didn't wake up..."
Taiki watched Kira, and could clearly see Kira was having trouble with trying to understand something.

"...This isn't a dream. What I think Yaten is trying to say is that with the city's damage, it's not safe to head in that direction." pointing for a moment in the direction Kira was heading. "You said you were new here, and we have mutual friends, we look out for each other and you are part of that now." Taiki smiled, then glanced at Seiya. " . . . Seiya, shall we go?" Almost slipping the word 'leader' out. Taiki wanted to tell Seiya about Star Healer and Kira, and what actually happened between the two.
Placing a hand on Seiya's shoulder to let him know it was time, Taiki made it clear the two were going to leave. "It was nice to properly meet you, Kira."

Kira smiled and gave a nod, it was still a little strange, but maybe earth people were like that always. Looking back at Yaten, Kira gave a shy smile and giggled. "...I couldn't say no anyways." This was an opportunity to talk to Yaten now and ask him questions she had been wondering for a while.
Giving a polite bow to Taiki and Seiya, then rose up and added "Thank you, I promise Yaten will be back soon." glancing towards Yaten Kira smiled while thinking "Maybe... hehe" biting her lower lip while trying to hold the grin she held back, not wanting to fangirl again so soon. Even if this was a dream, Kira wanted to make the most of it.

"Yaten, shall we go?" Kira asked, and gave a wave to the two as they departed, going opposite ways.

Taiki waved a couple of times then placed his hand gently on Seiya's back, and then as the two got far enough to talk privately, Taiki looked at Seiya and spoke. "Leader? you were going to tell Kira the truth, weren't you?"

"Is this really okay? That meeting must have been pretty boring--ah I'm sorry, you're probably not allowed to say anything about it." Glancing away as the two walked together, Kira looked at Yaten in the corner of her eyes as she quietly spoke. "I've been meaning to ask you something..." it almost sounded like Kira was going to ask about their identities like she had caught on but instead asked something else. "...You know... back at the arcade, I didn't know it was you. I'm sorry if I said some strange things-- you see I didn't even realize you had to disguise yourself from the public, that never came to mind when you told me your name." pausing, Kira added "There is something else... I found a VIP ticket, that's how I found out it was you, Usagi told me there are only three tickets like those... was that your one?" Looking over at Yaten, seeming serious enough she was trying to understand why she was the one who got it, thinking it might have been a mistake. Completely unaware it was actually 'Star Healer' who gave that to her.
"AAaaa y-you don't have to answer that either! I mean it was just weird since we hadn't really gotten close to each other, well not that I noticed..." taking a few seconds, the archer didn't want to interrogate him, fearing it might make him think she didn't want the ticket.

Getting an idea as they were talking about the concert ticket, Kira ran in front of Yaten to face him while walking backwards, matching his pace. "The songs that you sing... those songs sound like you all love someone. N-Not that I love anyone but...I guess when I'm around someone... I get that same feeling some of the lyrics describe. I mean... what I'm trying to ask is there someone you love? I guess... there is someone I really like but...."
Pausing, Kira's adverted her eyes away from Yaten's for a moment, then back towards him again. "The person I think I'm falling for... I think I am starting to love them... but it's complicated and I don't know how I can really express that to her, we both have something we put first, and that something gets in the way of really doing anything. I wasn't really brought up to have these sorts of feelings... I did a long time ago but...I promised myself I wouldn't fall for anyone again."

Kira opened up about herself, expressing to Yaten why she was the way she is. Kira stepped aside and turned back around, walking along side with Yaten again.

"Heh... I guess I should elaborate, shouldn't I?" Pausing, Kira wanted to share something with Yaten, and help him understand her a little more even though this story was something she carried around with her, mainly the guilt. "You see... when I was a child, I had a best friend, we knew each other from birth and I always pictured myself with them, and I thought they did too. I grew up knowing this one person, and we were so young that I shouldn't have taken this promise so seriously, but we both promised to marry each other and that I'd save my first kiss for them." Placing her hand on her chest momentarily, Kira spoke "I got taught archery at a young age, and we were in tournaments together but we were separated for reasons. Let's just say we had no way to see or communicate to each other...because we had to be in different locations until much later in our lives. And so, I lived the rest of my childhood dreaming of this special day. Time went on... I became a teenager, to a young adult. A few years ago the 'tournament' took place and we all were reunited together again, it wasn't until I found out that person had moved on and found someone else, even got married... and they had kids. It had been that long since we last saw each other...and here I was that whole time, wishing of something that never happened."

User Image

Kira's expression changed, as you could see she had tried to hold back any sort of emotion saying this next part. "I met their family, their two kids at the archery tournament, and I'm happy for them...I really was, but there was a part of me that was angry and jealous, and deep down... I'm a terrible person because I wished ill on them, I wasted over half my life thinking about this one person. They recently passed away, all of them did actually... but I was saved. So from then... I promised myself I would never fall in love, I needed to focus on myself, and heal what has been broken... I guess that makes me a horrible person because I wished something like that, and for that I--...."
Stopping herself from talking, Kira had completely gotten lost in her own words, forgetting she was just talking to Yaten. She had to stop and pause just to breath, in the sense, it was a hard subject to talk about. "I'm sorry, I've been in such a dark place that some of it is still a bit fresh in my mind, but on the happy side, your music has gotten me out of those dark places and that's the point I was trying to get at." Kira smiled at Yaten, it was a smile that spoke 'I'll be alright'
"I have my own goals now and I want to be a musician. I have made friends, like yourself and I don't want anything bad to happen. Iโ€™m trying not to fall in love again either as it's a distraction against my own focus. I have people I care about...who are in my life now. People who matter to me. I try and act tough but the reality is... I'm just really scared to lose them, I have to protect them."

Kira's story translated that she had lost this person from Planet Jupiter, and that person was also part of the constellation as she was, however, Kira left out those details and anything really relating to her past apart from her being an archer.
Her story would also help Yaten understand why she was always so distant.

Watching her own shoes walk one in front of the other, it was obvious Kira was thinking about something as she spoke her mind. "...That person I told you about, the one I like... she was my first kiss..." Kira whispered, but loud enough for Yaten to hear her. A faint blush appeared on her cheeks as she mumbled. "I'm fine with her being the first person to kiss me because I really like her. She's way out of my league though, she's really pretty too and she cares about me. We both have an understanding of each other, it's a strange connection but it doesn't feel wrong. I only see her sometimes... and those times haven't been really ideal situations... but... my mind is like a shield, protecting something. And even though Iโ€™m fighting it, my heart is speaking louderโ€ฆ I wish I knew how she felt, if itโ€™s the sameโ€ฆbutโ€ฆ I donโ€™t give her that chance to tell me." the archer kept her eyes on the ground, silently thinking about today.

---

Taiki and Seiya both walked back to the shrine together, but before they made their way up the stairs, Taiki spoke up. "Leader...? Before we go any further... I have something to tell you. Today I went to find Healer, I eventually found her and Kira talking, alone. I think Healer was trying to reason with Kira but Tsukino-san showed up. Right before she did, Healer kissed Kira. Those two... even though Kira has no idea Yaten and Healer are the same person, I can still feel some sort of bond between the two. What should we do? Should we trust Kira?" Taiki explained and asked Seiya what his opinion was.

Seiya didn't say much, as the three of them seemed to be chatting, however, the idol watched and observed Kira more than anything.
"...This isn't a dream. What I think Yaten is trying to say is that with the city's damage, it's not safe to head in that direction."

"It was nice to properly meet you, Kira."

Feeling the weight on his shoulder from Taiki's hand, Seiya smiled and also added "Like I said, it's an honor. We'll see you around." Directing his attention towards his bandmate, giving some friendly subtle advice. "Oi Yaten... Her safety comes first. I'll catch up with you later." Giving a wave back to Kira, Seiya turned around and walked alongside Taiki until they got closer to the Shrine.
Should we trust Kira?"
Stopping suddenly, Seiya looked at Taiki as his childish behavior came out. "I KNEW something had happened! Why didn't you call me?!" Sulking, Seiya looked pretty pissed off. "I should have been there with you!" Thinking for a moment, Taiki's last question began to sink in and made the star idol fold his arms.
"There are feelings and emotions between them, and if you are referring to telling Kira... I think right now she deserves a bit of happiness... even if it's not for long, let her enjoy being as normal as she can be... because it won't last, and who knows when that time comes we have to tell her or reveal it. I know Yaten wants to tell her everything... and I'm okay with that. I can relate to how Yaten feels. Do you remember the countless times I tried telling Odango who I was? We kept getting interrupted and in the end, we were basically forced to transform in front of each other... to protect one another. That was my promise to Odango, that No matter what happens, I'll protect her." having a flashback back to that moment.

User Image

Seiya turned to face the direction Yaten and Kira went. "It will be the same for them, I'm sure of it."
Looking back at Taiki, Seiya continued to answer his question. "Trusting Kira? Yaten trusts her... and I think we need to trust Yaten... trust Star Healer's judgment." Patting Taiki's back a few times. "Come on, let's go." Seiya smiled, even though there was dread in his tone. They began to walk up the stairs of the Shrine.
As Seiya and Taiki entered the main room from the back entrance, Haruka shifted her gaze toward Seiya. "...Where is she? Is she coming?"
That built-up anger surfaced a little, snipping back a response. "No. Kira didn't want to come in, no thanks to you. Yaten is walking her home as we speak."
Haruka glanced at Michiru, it was obvious she too was disappointed in Haruka's words from earlier. The racer looked annoyed but more annoyed at herself. "I have to go and apologize to her."
"No! Don't even go near her, you've done enough damage! That girl is good at hiding how hurt she is, you'll just make things worse." Seiya hissed, his words showed he was very much against any sort of interaction as he glared at Haruka for a few moments before turning his attention to Rei. "Gomen, Rei. I didn't think things would turn out like this... Yaten will likely stay with Kira... for how long I don't know but I can relay any message back that's important."
Approaching Rei, Seiya wanted to try and resolve any negative feelings in the room, considering everyone seemed awkwardly silent. "I hope things haven't been too difficult... Shall we start?" Seiya asked, speaking softly to Rei.

"I..."

Yaten kept his steady gaze upon Kira as she began to speak. It almost seemed it was difficult for her to process what he had suggested.

"U-Uh? S-safely? But... heh ahaha... y-you don't need to walk me home! although I'm not saying no either..." Yaten still kept that friendly smile present for Kira, hoping that somewhere in the back of her mind, she would realize that he was looking out for her best interests.

"Wait a second... is this a dream? You know this sort of thing only happens in dreams, right? Or am I dead? That would make so much more sense if I was..."

Dead??? Why on earth would Kira think that she was dead? Her next action of causing harm to herself, concerned him. Not until he realized just what exactly she was doing. "That's strange... I didn't wake up..." What a peculiar situation they all now found themselves in. Looking befuddled as to how Kira was acting. Shifting his gaze over at Seiya and Taiki wondering what their thoughts were. "You're not dreaming, everything that's been going on is real, Kira. Are you alright?" Hearing Taiki speak up simultaneously with him, he was certain that their words probably sounded like a jumbled mess then.

"...This isn't a dream. What I think Yaten is trying to say is that with the city's damage, it's not safe to head in that direction." Watching Taiki turn to point in the direction to where Kira was originally heading. "You said you were new here, and we have mutual friends, we look out for each other and you are part of that now." Releasing a breath in relief, that Taiki understood what it was he was trying to express to Kira.

" . . . Seiya, shall we go?" Yaten blinked a couple of times, it wasn't often that he heard Taiki call Seiya by his name. He would normally call him 'leader'. Turning his body slightly in his stance as he cast a glance over at Taiki and Seiya. He could tell by Taiki's body language, that he was wanting to talk about something and was urging Seiya to follow in cue. "It was nice to properly meet you, Kira." With Taiki's arm draping around Seiya's shoulder to draw him away from them, Yaten could only imagine just what Taiki wanted to talk about. "Like I said, it's an honor. We'll see you around." Sighing mentally as he watched his two bandmates make their hasty departure. "Oi Yaten... Her safety comes first. I'll catch up with you later." Providing a wink and wave in response to Seiya's comment. At least they were in agreement of Kira's safety.

"...I couldn't say no anyways."

"I'm glad to hear that." Finally breaking the awkward silence that had fallen between them.

"Thank you, I promise Yaten will be back soon."

Watching her respectfully say goodbye to the others, only to return to look up at him with those sparkling, star filled eyes. "Yaten, shall we go?"

"Of course, lead the way and I shall follow." Yaten said with a sincere smile. Moving in a fluid movement around Kira to where he was walking along the outside protecting Kira from oncoming traffic on the road. At least she would be protected by being closer to the structures verses the wildness of the streets. Drivers are typically safe drivers in this neighborhood but there's always that one percent that could be off their rocker and decide to drive on the sidewalk. Yaten would not be taking any chances.

"Is this really okay? That meeting must have been pretty boring--ah I'm sorry, you're probably not allowed to say anything about it."

Yaten didn't think twice as he replied to Kira's question, "It's a meeting. One that I don't mind missing. I'm sure that Seiya and Taiki will have a field day once they arrive." It was apparent, he was still pissed as to how Kira was mistreated. "Besides... you are important to me, Kira." Stopping only momentarily as he turned to flash her a warm smile. Hoping she realized he placed her first, before the others.

Thinking to himself, It's probably best that I didn't show, because a certain someone would be heading to the hospital due to my fist bloodying their nose for mistreating you.' Of course, it wouldn't just be their nose, a few teeth might get jostled loose, perhaps a bruised jaw, a few ribs. The usual a** kicking would have caused more of an issue than a solution. Reaching up to brush some bangs that had settled in his line of sight, trying to lighten his statement.

"It's a meeting. One that I don't mind missing. I'm sure that Seiya and Taiki will have a field day once they arrive."
Feeling that there was a bit of silence falling between them as they walked side by side. Yaten was wanting to hold Kira's hand, or at least drape her hand over his arm but felt like that might be too fast or weird in this instance. Keeping the conversation casual and cool, "So Kira... do you like it here? Living in the city versus wherever you traveled forth from?" Trying to not leave that heavy feeling in the air.

"I've been meaning to ask you something..." He paused slightly in his footsteps as he heard Kira ask a question that felt like she was purposely avoiding a topic, and being reluctant in asking him something on a more intimate level. "...You know... back at the arcade, I didn't know it was you. I'm sorry if I said some strange things-- you see I didn't even realize you had to disguise yourself from the public, that never came to mind when you told me your name. There is something else... I found a VIP ticket, that's how I found out it was you, Usagi told me there are only three tickets like those... was that your one?"

Yaten replied with a quiet, reserved smile just for Kira then. "We all have to be in disguise when we're out and about in public. So don't worry about it. Honestly? It was actually nice that you did not acknowledge who I actually am in the arcade."

A serious expression soon followed. "I would have to pay for damages done in the store for the stampede that would have occured." Stuffing his hands into his pockets, as he rocked back and forth along his heels. "Believe me, I am more concerned about the fans' well being. If people knew that I was there... that would have gotten a lot of people hurt in the process and that's not something I want to see. Just to get a picture or autograph, certain fans can be out right rude and disrespectful of others. Especially everyone's well being. Stardome is nice. But not so nice at the same time." Shrugging his shoulders slightly.

"Fans tend to forget that we are human too and live lives outside of the music industry. They don't see us as people, we're seen as idols." Feeling as though he just talked her ear off. Yaten rubbed the backside of his neck embarrassed. "Sorry, I kinda went off in the deep end of explanation there, didn't I?" Turning his head to look over at Kira with an apologetic expression.

"Kira, you didn't say anything silly to me. I had fun! I actually got an opportunity to experience a normal moment in time. Met a new friend... you. And I thank you for that." Smiling appreciatively at her. At the mentioning of a ticket. Yaten's smile remained, the sparkle of light in his eyes changed slightly. "AAaaa y-you don't have to answer that either! I mean it was just weird since we hadn't really gotten close to each other, well not that I noticed..."

"The songs that you sing... those songs sound like you all love someone. N-Not that I love anyone but...I guess when I'm around someone... I get that same feeling some of the lyrics describe. I mean... what I'm trying to ask is there someone you love? I guess... there is someone I really like but...."

"We do. We do love someone, someone we would move heaven and earth for to make sure she lives." Yaten stopped moving forward, since it appeared that Kira had stopped advancing as well. Giving Kira his full attention. Focusing on not just how Kira's mouth formed the words, but listening to the message she was expressing and wanting feedback on.

"Is there someone I love? To answer your question? Yes, there is." He did not say who it was that he loved. She could see in his expression that he spoke truthfully towards her.

"Heh... I guess I should elaborate, shouldn't I? You see... when I was a child, I had a best friend, we knew each other from birth and I always pictured myself with them, and I thought they did too. I grew up knowing this one person, and we were so young that I shouldn't have taken this promise so seriously, but we both promised to marry each other and that I'd save my first kiss for them."

Yaten's jaw slightly fell, causing his mouth to open and yet no words were released. He was reacting to what she had just said, but remained quiet for the time being. Allowing Kira the floor to say what she wanted to explain to him then.

"I got taught archery at a young age, and we were in tournaments together but we were separated for reasons.

Yaten could see the torturous affect tangling from within Kira, like a thorn being twisted in her side as she explained her history with the person she grew to love over time.

Removing his hands from his pocket, he moved over closer to where Kira was and touched her arm that was covered by her shirt sleeve. The touch was barely there but noticeable to let Kira know that he could feel what she was expressing and that he was there for her. He wanted to provide her something else, but felt as though it wasn't his place. He remained the faithful listener, providing a couple of nods of his head in response to cues given to him that he was indeed listening to what Kira had to say.

"I'm sorry, I've been in such a dark place that some of it is still a bit fresh in my mind, but on the happy side, your music has gotten me out of those dark places and that's the point I was trying to get at."

"You know... Kira... sometimes people fall in love even though they weren't seeking it or wanting it to happen. It just happens... naturally." With his hand still lingering along Kira's arm, applying a gentle squeeze of reassurance. "That's only natural that you are scared. Scared that you might lose them and feel the need to protect them. You are not the only one that feels that way. The feeling is mutual with the party that cares about you."

"...That person I told you about, the one I like... she was my first kiss..."

Realization settled in completely then. Yaten had been listening intensely to Kira the entire time. It was when she mentioned the first kiss, everything stated had to do with Star Healer. Herself. Kira had no idea, that she was speaking to the same person. Expressing how she felt about her and what she had experienced in her life as to explain in depth as to why she acts the way she does. To explain why she's so reluctant to get involved with Star Healer, because she's scared of the outcome. Fearing that the person she's falling for could be placed in danger, something Kira did not know for certain if she could deal with that kind of loss .... again. Remaining neutral for the time being, Yaten started to feel guilty for stringing Kira along and not telling her about who she really is. Remaining in disguise for her safety, so that she protects Kira from harm.

When in fact, she was causing harm to Kira. By keeping a secret! This must have been something similar to what Seiya felt when he was falling for Usagi. Yaten's lips started to part as if he was about to say something but was hushed to hearing Kira continue.

And even though Iโ€™m fighting it, my heart is speaking louderโ€ฆ I wish I knew how she felt, if itโ€™s the sameโ€ฆbutโ€ฆ I donโ€™t give her that chance to tell me."

"Why not, Kira?" Realizing he was standing intimately close to Kira then, slowly taking a step back to give her space. "Why not give the person you care about a chance to tell you ... that she feels the same way too?" Locking his emerald eyes with Kira's beautiful turquoise eyes. It was probably too much of a personal question to ask Kira then. Here she opened up her heart to him to explain why she feels a certain way. Yaten could sense that Kira wasn't the type of person to just open up to anyone. She obviously felt comfortable and confident to speak to him, because she got the understanding that he, along with the others are not judgmental. That he was trustworthy, someone she could confide in, whenever she needed an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean upon. How he wanted to tell her then. To break his disguise and show Kira just who she really was speaking to then. No more secrets! Something... some kind of force was telling him, not to reveal himself just yet. To be patient and wait for the right opportunity to do so.

"Life is short here on earth, Kira. The could of, would of, should of's are always in place that people hold onto. That reluctance to explain what they feel, what they want to tell that someone is always lost. A missed opportunity. That hold onto-that-moment-later, makes people regret that they did not take the chance provided to them to express what they feel for the person they care about." He swallowed harshly, "It can eat a person up. The regret. That's what I'm speaking of. I'm not telling you to lower your shield and not to protect yourself from being hurt again. I am only suggesting that you give this person you care about the opportunity to express how they feel about you before you run out of time. Time, that you lost, and that you have learned from and are having to deal with." Yaten could feel those heart strings from within tugging hard, as he spoke towards Kira. It was killing him/her then.

"Kira.. I..." Frowning slightly, "I..." a light, hushed laugh escaped, "Not everyone is good with words in expressing how they feel about someone they care about. If they cannot be descriptive with words they are the type of individual that expresses how they care by touch." His eyes were glistening with moisture then, he wasn't crying but he did feel that some kind of action would need to take place soon. Whether it be a response with tears or a form of physical emotion.

"It's a meeting. One that I don't mind missing. I'm sure that Seiya and Taiki will have a field day once they arrive. Besides... you are important to me, Kira."

Hearing this, Kira was still convinced it was a dream. "Why would I be so important to Yaten? It's not like I have really spoken much--"

Quote:
"We all have to be in disguise when we're out and about in public. So don't worry about it. Honestly? It was actually nice that you did not acknowledge who I actually am in the arcade."

Giving a nod, Kira half understood but didn't really know Yaten was still disguised.
"I guess... you can only do it so much though, right?" Kira added, looking ahead in the direction they were walking. "But I think it's nice not to have a disguise too, to have to worry about that-- not that I would know, I don't have that sort of attention."

Quote:
"Fans tend to forget that we are human too and live lives outside of the music industry. They don't see us as people, we're seen as idols."

Quote:
"We do. We do love someone, someone we would move heaven and earth for to make sure she lives."

Smiling, Kira had this feeling while she confessed something rather personal towards Yaten.

Quote:
"Is there someone I love? To answer your question? Yes, there is."

Wondering if the person the idol mentioned just before was the person he loved, but Yaten said the words 'we' which meant there was someone else. Having this urge to pry, Kira wanted to ask who it was but knew that would be overstepping their private boundaries.

โ€œโ€ฆWhoโ€ฆ do you loveโ€ฆ?โ€ Kira asked, then paused for a moment before nervously laughing. โ€œaHH! Ignore that question! You donโ€™t need to answer that! Hahahaโ€ฆโ€

Kira told Yaten her story, about her past life, opening up about this one person she thought she loved, but it wasn't meant to be. Kira didn't discuss any other details on them, but Yaten could easily put two and two together.

Quote:
"You know... Kira... sometimes people fall in love even though they weren't seeking it or wanting it to happen. It just happens... naturally."
With his hand still lingering along Kira's arm very lightly, applying a gentle squeeze of reassurance.

Kira hadn't noticed any physical feeling right until Yaten began to speak she felt the squeeze, Kira got that same weird feeling that she couldn't quite figure out yet - it was like her mind is blocking something important out or not letting her see anything, like the missing piece. The light squeeze from his hand on her arm caused Kira to look back toward him.

"There it is again... this feels so familiar somehow."

Quote:
"That's only natural that you are scared. Scared that you might lose them and feel the need to protect them. You are not the only one that feels that way. The feeling is mutual with the party that cares about you."

"Scared? โ€ฆHeh... I wish I knew..." Kira said quietly.

Quote:
"Why not give the person you care about a chance to tell you ... that she feels the same way too?"

Hesitating, Kira's eyes locked with Yaten's, Kira answered openly and honestly. "Because... I guess our situation comes first... it just... feels selfish to put my feelings first. I-I mean... she kissed me but... I just stood there in complete shock and then we got interrupted. I didn't get that chance to tell her anything back as I was pulled away by a friend... I really don't know how to put it into words, but I also didn't ask how she was feeling either... as I said it's complicated and confusing but... I just want to know."
Placing her hand on her chest where her heart would be, Kira whispered. "I'm pretty sure next time I see her... I'll ask her, and tell her how I feel in return..."

Quote:

The archer frowned, and those words were like knives in her heart. "Run...out of time? Do you think if I don't say something now, then I'll never get that chance?" her tone hinted at worry and panic.

Breaking eye contact, really made Kira think as those words repeated over and over. "Run out of... time? They're from another planet, what if they were to go back soon? What if I run out of time like Princess Jupiter? What if something like that happened on Earth? What if this was the last chance? Why am I thinking about it so much now?"
Kira shifted the hand on her chest and glided it towards her bag strap, gripping it tightly knowing her transformation wand was in there. The archer's expression showed she was focused on doing something in particular.

"The only way to find her is..."

Both of them felt the same but in different ways. Kira was fighting herself on what to do now, how would she approach this? Where? Why? and How?
Looking at the ground, Kira was silent but it was like she was fighting this inner battle, obvious that she now really wanted to do something about it.
Yaten however knew who Kira was and who Kira spoke about, there was a constant battle about wanting to tell Kira, just like Seiya tried with Usagi because it began to cause so many issues in the sense the truth made more sense than living with a lie.

Quote:
"Not everyone is good with words in expressing how they feel about someone they care about. If they cannot be descriptive with words they are the type of individual that expresses how they care by touch."

Looking at Yaten, Kira asked. "So... you're saying that because words weren't spoken the kiss was like... speaking in action as to how they felt instead?" Looking back at the ground, Kira thought about it and made a 'Hmm' sound, thinking about it.

"That's one way of looking at it, I guess. You're really good at translating these types of things! I guess I'm still confused though... why wouldn't she just tell--" Looking back at Yaten, Kira noticed Yaten seemed a little triggered by something which made Kira stop mid-sentence, displaying concern as she stared at him, unsure how to react.

"..Oh no....I said something that made Yaten upset! How do I recover from something like this?! what if this got on television?!"

"Yaten I...I'm... I'm so sorry-- I didn't mean to go on about all this. Let's talk about something else...uh lets see umm..." thinking, Kira had to think of something quickly to change the subject but that conversation wasn't exactly over.

"I got an album of Haruka and Michiru today... but I got one of the Three Lights too! I can't wait to listen to them when I get home... that's what I meant when I said I'll be busy." Kira was just circling through obvious topics now, going back to the Three Lights subject before the heavy stuff had started.
Kira mentioned Haruka and Michiru as if she didn't know yet, and that no ill feelings had come across that made Kira feel mad. Although again, unaware Yaten hearing their names may make them feel slightly annoyed or angry, and that Kira still spoke highly of them, however, if Kira knew the truth, her actions and words may be different.

"I guess... you can only do it so much though, right? But I think it's nice not to have a disguise too, to have to worry about that-- not that I would know, I don't have that sort of attention."

IF she only knew. . . .

โ€œโ€ฆWhoโ€ฆ do you loveโ€ฆ?โ€

It was almost hard to breath when Kira asked who he/she loved. Yaten managed to keep up a relaxed front, even though within his will power to keep something hidden from Kira was fading as time went on.

โ€œaHH! Ignore that question! You donโ€™t need to answer that! Hahahaโ€ฆโ€

A smile cracked along his features as he watched how Kira fidgetted around with her words. The strong desire to know who exactly it was that Yaten loved was priceless. There was a part of him that wanted to string her along with the guessing game. And yet, he knew that there would be a price to pay if he did that to her. Yaten cared too much to be dense like that. Kira deserved to be treated with dignity and respect.

"Scared? โ€ฆHeh... I wish I knew..."

That adorable little smile that Yaten sometimes does on special occasion appeared, "Kira? You just told me in a manner, that you were scared to approach the person in your past to let them know how you felt. And right now, you're. .dodging. Why?"

While Kira provided her response filled with uncertainty and what sounded like a lengthy excuse as to why she claimed she had not sought out the person that kissed her out. Yaten reached into the pocket of his coat, tracing the outline of his sailor charge star with his fingertips as he thought long and hard about his next actions. He didn't want to continue to lie, yet at the same time he wanted to protect Kira. Yaten knew though, if he/she kept up this facade he might truly lose Kira in the end if he did not tell her the truth of who he was.

"I'm pretty sure next time I see her... I'll ask her, and tell her how I feel in return..."

I am right here, standing before you... I'm scared too, Kira!

"Run...out of time? Do you think if I don't say something now, then I'll never get that chance?"

"Life is unpredictable, Kira. What people take for granted on a day to day basis? Shouldn't be handled that way. An example might be a better definition for how life is short, where people have missed opportunities and should make the most of the time they have with one another."

"A married couple who works two different jobs and lives two different lives, have grown accustomed to living in the fast track of life. Believing that this life between them has become the new norm in the married lifestyle. The married couple has lived with one another for many years and probably did not express to one another just how much they love each other, on a daily basis. Even though they know that their love is mutual and has been for a long time. Taking what they have for granted that nothing would ever cause change in their busy life. Life happens. Then one day, tragedy befalls the married couple. Someone dies due to a tragic event and leaves their spouse alone and in grief. The should of, could of, would of's appear as that lonesome spouse, wonders if they had expressed their love enough to their departed spouse? Did that spouse, know just how much they were loved? Should they have taken more time out of their day to speak to their spouse and let them know that they were loved, cherished and thought of often? Did they take the time to speak to them as if it were their last day on Earth?"
Yaten didn't continue, feeling warm tears forming at the corners of his eyes as he tried to provide an explanation to Kira as to what message he was trying to get across.

The life is short here on earth.
The missed opportunity.
The regret.
Don't take things for granted.

Knowing how deep that topic sounded, he did his best to shift gears. "Did you know, that just hearing that someone say that they care about you, gives you the feel good endorphins? Do you know what that is Kira? Endorphins help relieve pain, reduce stress and improve your sense of well-being."

"I can tell you Kira... the one who kissed you? Cares a great deal about you."

"So... you're saying that because words weren't spoken the kiss was like... speaking in action as to how they felt instead?"

"Yes."

"That's one way of looking at it, I guess. You're really good at translating these types of things! I guess I'm still confused though... why wouldn't she just tell--Yaten I...I'm... I'm so sorry-- I didn't mean to go on about all this. Let's talk about something else...uh lets see umm..."

Gripping the sailor star charge tighter within his grasp as he tried to speak with Kira. The struggle was real! The could of, would of's were surfacing all that time, wondering how to approach Kira and just flat out tell her who he was. That he was Star Healer, even though it would take some serious convincing for Kira to believe Yaten then. Everything he just told her, if he didn't at least show her how he felt, expressed his/her feelings to her then. Yaten was certain that he/she most definitely would lose Kira for good.

Kira was rambling on about a music album that involved Haruka and Michiru today. Talk about a kill the moment crusher. "I got an album of Haruka and Michiru today... but I got one of the Three Lights too! I can't wait to listen to them when I get home... that's what I meant when I said I'll be busy."

Letting his hand drop away from Kira's shoulder and down to where her hands were busy with the explanation. Placing his hand on top of both of Kira's hands. "Kira." Yaten's voice appeared softer, as he tried to get her to look at him once again, verses looking down at the albums in her satchel. His/Her heart was racing from within their ribcage as he tried not to rush out what he wanted to get across without spooking Kira in the process.

Yaten was taking a big risk in saying his next words, "Do you remember when I said that we all have to be in disguise when we're out and about in public?"

Their voice cracked slightly, "I am in disguise, Kira. I have been in disguise for a long time. I don't want secrets to be between us to where you cannot trust me for who I am. I cannot hide this from you anymore. It's wrong to do this. We all hid our identities to protect our princess, so that no one would know who we really are. I can't keep hiding who I am to you, not with how I feel and care about you a great deal. I already told you that I am not the kind of person who shares how I feel with words. I am better in showing you."

With that being said, Yaten removed his sailor star charge from within his pocket and showed Kira, "Not all heroes wear capes to fly in and save the day. Some of us are from stars far away in another galaxy. Searching for the one we love." If Kira were to touch the sailor star charge, it would feel warm to the touch, almost as if it was a constant, steady beating pulse like a heartbeat. The star charge was starting to glow, within Yaten's grasp. "Some of the stars that traveled here found what they were searching for... I didn't know it at first that I too I was searching for the one I love." All while Yaten was speaking to Kira, the warming pulse from the sailor star charge had already begun the transformation process of peeling away the layers of clothing of who had once been standing before Kira to slowly shift into Star Healer.

"I, like yourself, kept a shield, a barrier around my heart. Not allowing myself to fall in love. Not daring to lay it bare, knowing that at any time my love could be shattered by some tragic event. I did lose someone that I loved more than life itself. I was not alone, when I... we watched the person we loved dearly taken from us in an instant. Someone who died, protecting us as we were meant to do for her. Our Princess Kakyuu." Tears were streaming down Star Healer's cheeks as she gazed over at Kira, afraid of what she was saying was going to make her flee. So afraid that she was going to lose her as she displayed her emotions for Kira to see.

"I closed off those feelings long ago and then that fated night when you and I met. Kindled feelings that had not felt in such a long amount of time. I was not really looking, not soul searching, what happened between us was... natural."

As Star Healer spoke, she didn't realize that she was moving in closer than where she had originally been standing. Standing so close, she was a whisper away from where Kira stood before her. "And I... I felt... alive for the first time in a long time when we touched, Kira. You awoken a feeling I thought was long buried and dead. And yes, I'm scared. Scared and yet, willing to take a leap of faith to tell you how much you mean to me. That I am concerned for your well being and safety. That I care about you a great deal, so much that I ... I would do anything for you because I.."

Taking that opportune moment to lean in and press her soft, velvety lips against Kira's lips whispering, love you...

Kira still beamed her current smile, talking about something else made her feel a little better at least, but that was short-lived.
Yaten's hand reached out towards Kira's, holding them from the top.

Quote:
"Kira."

Looking at Yaten, the pitch, and softness of Yaten's voice switched to a familiar more feminine one, which caused Kira's smile to fade gradually.

"..Hm? What it is?"

Quote:
"Do you remember when I said that we all have to be in disguise when we're out and about in public?"

Kira nodded, unsure where this was heading. "Yeah, I remember... why?"

Quote:
Their voice cracked slightly, "I am in disguise, Kira. I have been in disguise for a long time. I don't want secrets to be between us to where you cannot trust me for who I am. Not really understanding what Yaten was going on about, Kira spoke but her tone was more cautious. "Heh...Yaten, what are you going on about? What do you mean 'you're in disguise?'"
Her question began to be answered, as Yaten let one hand go and reached into his pocket, taking out a familiar object that looked familiar to her, holding it out just like Seiya did with Chibiusa.

Quote:
"Not all heroes wear capes to fly in and save the day. Some of us are from stars far away in another galaxy. Searching for the one we love."

It took a few seconds for his words to sink in, Kira's eyes widened a little bit as she thought "That brooch..."
Reaching up slowly, the hand that was free, Kira pointed to the Star Change as it flickered, inching her index finger centimeters away from it. Unknown to either of them, something would of happened to Kira if she had touched the object as it was being activated.
"That's..." Kira said quietly, her voice tone making it obvious she knew what it was, then shifted her shocked expression to Yaten's green emerald eyes. "No... you...you can't be... that's not physically possible... You're joking..." she quietly exclaimed. Explaining and showing were two different things, and in this case, it would be better to show Kira.

Quote:
"Some of the stars that traveled here found what they were searching for... I didn't know it at first that I too I was searching for the one I love."

"...Yaten you were really..."

Watching the Star Change being activated, it rested in the middle of the transforming figure in front of her. Yaten's body morphed right before her eyes, changing form. Kira was still holding onto Yaten's hand but felt the leathery-like glove forming around her fingers which latched onto Star Healers' body and then the glove went a solid black.

And now? Everything started to make much more sense to her.

"...Sailor Star Healer?"

Quote:

Kira was like a statue, the look of shock was still in her eyes as she still hadn't blinked yet. Her expression read 'Why?' Why was she kept in the dark for this long? Why didn't Yaten just tell her?
Deep down, Kira was going through waves of emotions, but the one that stood out the most was trying to process two different people were one person this whole time.

Quote:

Star Healer took that opportune moment to lean in and press her soft, velvety lips against Kira's lips whispering, "love you...

Star Healer's body inched closer to Kira, feeling the warmth coming from the gloved hand Kira was still clinging to, maintaining eye contact with the Starlight. Feeling the weight of Star Healer's lips against her own, pressing down gently.
Kira closed her eyes, this time, Kira pressed her lips against Star Healer's, returning the kiss back. Everything already felt so numb, but right now, this was the only thing that felt real.
Placing her free hand lightly on Star Healer's bare arm, just below the shoulder where the top of the glove started, still holding that kiss for a moment longer. Their warmth radiated around them, it was like nothing could break them apart, and neither cared at this point who was around. Nothing else mattered to them being in the moment.

"Why does love have to end up like this? We all want the same thing, but we have to fight for it. Why can't we just leave everything behind and forget? Was our meeting coincidental? Star Healer, do you think this is really okay? Is this what you want with me...to have this relationship? Do you truly...love me?" Kira thought the whole time they kissed, wondering if Star Healer was able to hear these thoughts.

...

Finally, the two pulled away very slowly, Kira slowly opened her eyes, looking at the Senshi's emerald green eyes as she let the hand that rested on the Starlight's arm rest by her own side. Coming back to reality now, made Kira start thinking as the realization hit her like a ton of bricks. Sadly, that sweet moment was now gone.

Giving Kira a few moments, however long she needed to finally say something in return, Kira managed to speak.

"...You're... how? "

The archer had to break eye contact with Star Healer for a moment, trying to gather all her thoughts into one space. "..I-I'm just...really... shocked. I... don't really... know what to think anymore."

Gripping her free hand into a fist tightly, frustration took over her tone. "...When all four of us were together before... I had a vision, my mind went blank, like a flash and I saw three female figures. Does this... mean that Seiya and Taiki... they're actually?..."
Despite her serious look, she was still blushing from the kiss, hiding that thought in the back of her mind while the rest rushed to the front of her mind.

Kiraโ€™s other hand was still being held by Star Healer as Kira pulled her hand away from Star Healer's grasp forcefully, Kira placed both her hands over her own face as her muffled voice was heard "I'm so stupid..." Trying to maintain the anger now, Kira pulled her hands away from her face, looking back towards Star Healer. "Everyone I've met... they're all Sailor Senshi too, aren't they? They already knew who I was? Why? Why didn't you all just tell me?! I... can't believe this..." Even though Kira asked this, if Kira went to the Shrine meeting, she would find out which was the whole point. What bothered Kira was she had quite a few chances to learn but she knew deep down it wasn't Star Healer's fault, it was her own, for pushing everyone away and Kira even admitted it prior to finding out who Yaten was.

Taking a step away from Star Healer, Kira continued. "Why are you all disguised? It makes no sense! This whole time I thought I had made friends... when really I had made friends with Sailor Senshi." Pausing, Kira looked away, her eyes watered up as she whispered. "...I told you something so personal about me... I... opened up to you and told you how I felt... I just... I just feel really stupid. You knew so much about me, but the truth was I knew nothing about you."

Shaking her head a few times in a disappointed 'no' motion, then Kira reached into her bag and took out her transformation wand, holding it out to Star Healer, showing her. "I truly believed I made friends who had nothing to do with all this, but no matter what, I can't run from it all because...it just keeps following me. Your songs really helped me escape that feeling. And... now?"

User Image

While her voice broke, Kira's bangs dropped over her face, bringing the wand close to her as she looked at it. However, Star Healer was no longer able to see her pained expression, only the tears that rolled down her face. "What it was really doing... was pulling me closer to you."

Bringing her wrist towards her cheek, wiping the remaining tears away. "I...I don't know what to do anymore, I don't know what to feel or think because everything just doesn't seem real. I was living a lie and now I'm confused, I'm really confused."

User Image

You can't turn back time, and maybe it was too soon to tell Kira, however, the lies would only make things worse from their point of view, lying to Kira was something they didn't want to keep doing. And thus the bandage had been ripped off.

"...Three Lights... Starlights... why... did I not see this sooner?" she thought to herself.

Knowing Kira can't change anything now, part of her was more relieved she wasn't just imagining things, and questions now kept piling up that she wanted to ask, but couldn't because she was clouded by all these other feelings, one in particular.
Continuing to speak, Kira kept her gaze on her transformation wand.

"Deep down... I didn't want to know who you all were, but I knew that one day I couldn't stop this moment from happening... I just wanted to escape it all. I didn't want to be involved but... I guess that was another lie I told myself. I just wanted to live this 'little bit of normal' for just a bit longer, in this world..." Kira said quietly, gripping the transformation wand tightly in her left hand as it expressed the frustration she had.
"...I-I'm sorry... I...I just think I need some time alone to process thisโ€ฆ"Overwhelmed, conflicted, and confused, The archer's words sounded as if she were going to make her departure, her mind wanted to leave but her body lagged that feeling to move.

Sighing to herself. 'What a mess...' Rei could feel a headache trying to rear its ugly face into the confinements of her head. Wincing slightly, as she tried to busy herself with making sure that her guests had refreshments while everything was still hot.

"Refreshments are ready if everyone is willing to take a break before we really try to restart this meeting." Trying to help reshape the mood in the room. Take a mental break would definitely help all parties involved. Uncertain about a lot of things then, as Rei hoped that the power of suggestion would be helpful. The room was so heavy with negative emotions it was starting to drain her Chi energy. Trading a glance around the room, no one really seemed to want to budge from their stance. You could take a horse to water, though you couldn't necessarily make it drink the water provided. She figured that when people wanted to sate their appetites they would, on their time.

In the process of crossing the room to head out on the back patio to overlook their massive coy pond, the sound of the back entry doors slide open and captured Rei's attention. She wasn't the only one to take notice.

"...Where is she? Is she coming?"

Shifting her gaze over at Haruka who was addressing the two individuals who had arrived. It was Taiki and Seiya. Their features were covered by shadows momentarily before they Seiya stepped into the light. It was more than obvious that Seiya was agitated with Haruka. "No. Kira didn't want to come in, no thanks to you. Yaten is walking her home as we speak." The bitter, sharpness of Seiya's message was clear to all. Watching how Seiya and Haruka were speaking towards one another. The air was becoming stagnant.

"I have to go and apologize to her."
"No! Don't even go near her, you've done enough damage! That girl is good at hiding how hurt she is, you'll just make things worse."

'Might be a good idea to burn some sage in here to help waif out all of the negativity.' Rei thought to herself when she noticed movement out of the corner of her eyes. From that rather sudden, heated discussion she now had attention on herself. "Gomen, Rei. I didn't think things would turn out like this... Yaten will likely stay with Kira... for how long I don't know but I can relay any message back that's important."

"I don't think anyone did, Seiya." Rei replied in a softer tone that was nothing near her normal, lively voice. Starting to say something, she noticed that Seiya drew closer, "I hope things haven't been too difficult... Shall we start?" Meeting eye to eye with Seiya, Rei swallowed somewhat. "I suggested that everyone take a break and to get something to eat while the food is still hot. As well as, take a breather. A moment of time to reflect on everything that was said." Lowering her gaze momentarily, "I need some air.. and I probably need to burn some sage too." A small, albeit noticeable smile appeared briefly towards Seiya. "Every little bit helps, right?"

"I won't be long.. promise. Please, you two make yourselves at home." Looking past Seiya and over at Taiki, acknowledging his presence as well. "We can restart the meeting, soon. Hopefully on a better foot." A short nod of her head, as she waved her hand off to the side to where the refreshments were located at. Without a second to lose, Rei moved past the gathering heading out towards the patio for some air.

"I suggested that everyone take a break and to get something to eat while the food is still hot. As well as, take a breather. A moment of time to reflect on everything that was said."

Agreeing with a nod, Seiya heard the quiet comment from the shrine maiden. "I need some air.. and I probably need to burn some sage too." seeing Rei trying to make the best of a difficult situation, didn't stop her from giving him a slight smile to let him know she was trying to think positivity.
"I don't blame you... throw some at Tenoh while you're at it." He was half joking, but watched Rei become unsettled again. "I won't be long.. promise. Please, you two make yourselves at home. We can restart the meeting, soon. Hopefully on a better foot." Watching Rei exit the room, his eyes followed her until she was gone. Then looked over at Taiki, giving a nod as if he were giving him silent communication. Pushing his back off the wall, Seiya glanced at Mamoru, then Usagi who looked worried. "It'll be okay, Odango. Kira will be fine, Yaten won't let anything happen to her." Seiya was about to walk past Usagi but placed a hand gently on her shoulder for reassurance before continuing to go after Rei.

"...Gomen, Rei. I don't mean to be following you around." Seiya said quietly, walking beside Rei as he joined her on the patio. The idol didn't want to leave Rei in the dark, since she seemed to be the one currently finding out things last.
"I know things haven't been great, especially now... and maybe they won't be for a while, but you know I'm here for you."

Pausing, Seiya didn't want to bother Rei anymore, knowing how she must be feeling.
Staring up at the clouded sky, he slipped his hands in his pockets and felt the warmth of his Star Change. "Huh?" Raising an eyebrow, he took the object out of his pocket and looked at the pulsing glowing star, which only ever happens when one is being activated.

User Image

Rei could most likely sense something, possibly but if she looked over at the star change, she would be able to see the same thing Seiya was looking at.
He turned his body to face the door of the patio, thinking about Taiki but knew he would be able to notice something right away.
Thinking, the idol then knew who it was. "... It's Star Healer." he mumbled to himself, then said "She must have revealed herself to Kira... looks like there was a reason Healer went with Kira alone... I just hope she knows what she's doing." Hoping it wasn't any other reason.

"You know what would lighten up the mood? A party. I mean, we already have an audience... whaddya' say?" Trying to convince Rei to sing. "We can tell everyone you'll be performing with us ..who cares if I still haven't told Yaten or Taiki yet."

"I don't blame you... throw some at Tenoh while you're at it."

Seiya's statement sounded muddled, as if he was underwater when everything slowly became back into focus. Rei's eyes widened slightly as she rapidly turned her head towards Seiya then. Looking at him hard to see if he was joking or being serious. When she finally pieced together what it was he had originally said, she started to laugh. Not wanting the others to hear her she cupped her mouth. Silencing her would-have-been-a-fit-of-giggles.

User Image

Trying to speak with a straight face, "For a minute there, I thought you said, BURN Tenoh while you're at it. I really need some sleep. HA!" With that being said, she figured by then it was probably a wise decision to make an exit stage right towards the zen garden. Clearing her throat, while sucking in her lips as she cast her gaze across the beautiful scenery laid out before her. A breath of fresh air, untainted by the negative energy flowing within the shrine. Just feeling a gentle breeze brush against her, made Rei feel more more at ease than earlier. Placing her hands along the hand carved, wooden raising before her. She heard movement from behind.

User Image

Turning to see Seiya emerge from the shadows, "...Gomen, Rei. I don't mean to be following you around." Casting her glance away from Seiya to look down along the surface of the coy pond, "No it's fine, Seiya." Half smirking, "I have to admit, I'm not used to having someone follow me, be my shadow by my side." To feel that I'm needed... She even felt wrong thinking like that. So grateful that she did not say those words aloud. Lifting her head up to look over at where Seiya was standing beside her.

"I know things haven't been great, especially now... and maybe they won't be for a while, but you know I'm here for you."
"Oh really? What gave you that impression?" Said mostly in reference to 'things haven't been great, especially now'. Swallowing her next comment hard when she heard Seiya say, "I'm here for you." Instantly daring her eyes away from Seiya. Seiya had a way of getting to her. Getting under her skin. Hitting those heart strings from within. ... no you mean that for Usagi.

User Image

Rei's voice cracked, "Don't you mean ... that you're here for Usagi, Seiya?" Tears had spilled down the corners of her eyes as she looked back at Seiya. Rei's lower lip quivered as she fought internally not to cry then. Still trying to keep up that strong suit. "That's someone who needs everyone's support right now. I know Usagi won't show just how hurt she is currently. I feel... I feel Usagi's pain. I feel Mamoru's pain too but not as strongly as I do from Usagi." Reaching up with both of her hands to wipe away the tears, "God... what a mess things are right now. I feel badly for Chibiusa! She's so young and..." Recalling that Chibiusa said she watched her mother vanish before her. Just killed Rei then. Is that what happened to the Inner Senshi? Did they fade away too? Rei was certain that she wasn't making a whole lot of sense then. Her mind was overloaded with a bunch of information of everything that had finally had some light shed on it. "I ...thank you Seiya." Doing her best to recover and not shun Seiya for his thoughtfulness of thinking about her. Amidst everything going on, Seiya went out of his way to say something to her. When he didn't have to do that. He could of placed his focus elsewhere and Rei knew that. She's just not accustomed to hearing those words, I'm here for you. She's used to saying those words to people not receiving it. Feeling as though she had talked his ear off and dumped a bit of stuff on Seiya then, she went to say something as an apology when she noticed his expression.

"Huh?"

Watching Seiya remove a pulsing glowing star from his pocket, Rei stared at the object for what may of seemed like a long amount of time until she recognized the device. "... It's Star Healer." Rei heard Seiya mumble. "She must have revealed herself to Kira... looks like there was a reason Healer went with Kira alone... I just hope she knows what she's doing." Shifting gears, Rei pushed up off of the railing closer to where Seiya stood. "Do you want to go after her? And if you do.. do you want... backup?"

"You know what would lighten up the mood? A party. I mean, we already have an audience... whaddya' say?" Trying to convince Rei to sing. "We can tell everyone you'll be performing with us ..who cares if I still haven't told Yaten or Taiki yet." Sensing that he was purposely trying to change the subject, hide his reaction to what he just transpired. Reaching over to place her hand against Seiya's hand that held his Star Change.

Looking up at Seiya, "I can be your backup. Be your support. After all, you said that you are here for me, Seiya. I am here for you." With a look of determination, to provide aid to someone who went out of his way to help her. Rei knew it was the least she could do. Seiya had been supportive to her with everything that had and was going on presently. Rei wanted Seiya to realize that he was not alone in this.

"...Yaten you were really..."

"...Sailor Star Healer?"

Everything changed ... about Kira's demeanor the moment my voice changed to softer tones. My explanation I thought would be simpler if I just showed her who I was. Not hide myself further from her. I'm not the type of person to explain everything word by word. I'm an individual that likes to express my feelings by physically showing them how I feel, how I care. I'm an idiot. A fool.

User Image

"That's... No... you...you can't be... that's not physically possible... You're joking..."

Standing in the light surrounding my form, I thought for a moment I had been blinded by the light. When in fact ... I was blinded by opening up my heart and telling someone I had fallen for... that I loved them.

I should have known. . . . .

I should have known better than to say anything. I should have listened to Taiki and not said anything. And now the damage is done. I have not only exposed myself to the person I fell for. I have also endangered my family. I exposed them too. If anything were to happen to Seiya or Taiki it would be my fault! And quite honestly? I would deserve whatever punishment they deemed necessary for the actions I just did in revealing who I am in public. I didn't think twice about being seen by someone else.

"...You're... how? "

I'm a fool for letting my emotions speak louder than my judgement. In the past, I would not have allowed my emotions to run amok. What caused this change? I changed. I saw what true love could do to a person. I saw how Seiya changed the moment he revealed himself to Usagi. I saw how shocked she was at the time the revelation occurred. Eventually the shock factor subsided and she accepted Seiya for who he is. And I guess I thought, that Kira would react the same. I was wrong to think like that. A fool.

"..I-I'm just...really... shocked. I... don't really... know what to think anymore."

User Image

"...When all four of us were together before... I had a vision, my mind went blank, like a flash and I saw three female figures. Does this... mean that Seiya and Taiki... they're actually?..."

Trying to swallow, even though my throat was as dry as a powder box. I provided the simple nodding of my head and replied quietly. "Yes." Honestly? I didn't expect Kira to kiss back. The first time I kissed her caught her by surprise. Guess I was expecting the same reaction, the statue stance, the wide-eyed stare of shock and awe at the sametime. This time.. the kiss connection felt numb. As if it was just a reaction to my action to show her how much Kira means to me. A blanket reaction with no feeling behind it, mainly because I don't feel as if Kira is ready to really express how she feels. And I know that it's my fault for not truly allowing Kira time to adjust to everything. I feel like... like I should have given her more time. Especially now with how she's responded to me. Perhaps? Perhaps if Kira had been originally given a lengthy amount of time to adjust to what she calls a normal life she would have been more accepting of my feelings? I don't know. I don't know how I am supposed to move on from here or how I am supposed to react to what she's telling me currently. I feel ...

I feel numb.

Rejected.

There was a part of me that wanted to run ... where the #### would I go? Nowhere. So there, I stood, before the person I poured my feelings to. To be... rejected.

"I'm so stupid..." Hearing Kira call herself stupid, caused Star Healer's eyes to moisten with tears. Feeling absolutely horrible, that she pushed Kira away. The forceful yank of Kira's hand being removed from her own, hurt on an emotional level that started to tear Yaten apart.

User Image

"Everyone I've met... they're all Sailor Senshi too, aren't they? They already knew who I was? Why? Why didn't you all just tell me?! I... can't believe this..."

I wanted to try to explain everything to her. But I knew that I wasn't going to be heard. Not in this state of mind that Kira was in presently. Feeling the trickling effect of tears streaming down my cheeks. I just stood there, listening to her, spew out her anger at me. It was obvious that she was angry, disappointed at hurt all at the same time. And no matter what I may of said, would NOT have fixed what Kira was going through then.

"Why are you all disguised? It makes no sense! This whole time I thought I had made friends... when really I had made friends with Sailor Senshi."

"Kira! You did make friends!"

"...I told you something so personal about me... I... opened up to you and told you how I felt... I just... I just feel really stupid. You knew so much about me, but the truth was I knew nothing about you."

The pain that radiated forth from Kira could be felt on a number of levels. Star Healer was certain by now, with all the shouting coming forth from Kira someone or something could have taken an interest to what was going on. She wanted to say something to Kira but was very uncertain now how what was said would be listened to. Because it was becoming apparent that Kira no longer trusted her . As time went on.

Watching through her own tears, Star Healer watched as Kira reached into her bag and removed her transformation wand and showed it to her. "I truly believed I made friends who had nothing to do with all this, but no matter what, I can't run from it all because...it just keeps following me. Your songs really helped me escape that feeling. And... now?"

"What it was really doing... was pulling me closer to you."

'Is that a bad thing? That our songs made you feel better? They helped you escape? When we pour our emotions into our music we really mean what we say. Our notes carry to those out there that are needing the escape. Needing that moment to feel as though they are cared about and loved. Should our message be different..? I...?' Star Healer thought to herself instead of replying openly with Kira then. Healer could hear the downright heartfelt tears as Kira poured out her anguish. Kira was confused, emotionally hurt and distraught. The weight she was baring was almost too much for her to handle. Healer could tell, that Kira had managed to bare the cross of everything for quite some time.

"I...I don't know what to do anymore, I don't know what to feel or think because everything just doesn't seem real. I was living a lie and now I'm confused, I'm really confused."

Managing to speak up once more, uncertain if Kira was really listening by now. "This is real, what you and I have is real!" Wanting to move closer and hold her but by Kira's body language it was obvious she did not want Star Healer anywhere near her at this point. So she refrained from approaching her and providing a comforting, reassuring hug. Standing there an emotional wreck herself and yet, somehow managing to hold it together even though she was starting to realize she lost Kira before she really was given the opportunity to have something with her.

"Deep down... I didn't want to know who you all were, but I knew that one day I couldn't stop this moment from happening... I just wanted to escape it all. I didn't want to be involved but... I guess that was another lie I told myself. I just wanted to live this 'little bit of normal' for just a bit longer, in this world..."

"And that's... my fault Kira. I should have let you live a normal life without you having to worry about being a senshi. That was selfish of me to take that dream away from you and I am legitimately sorry for crushing your dreams. I hold responsibility for that and I hope that one day, you will forgive me." A heavy downpour of tears streamed down Star Healer's features. Feeling absolutely horrible knowing that she was the one who killed Kira's dreams.

"I... I wanted you to know who I am so that you would not be disappointed and shocked later to find out who I am at a much later date. That would have been ... devastating I imagine. To realize that you have been lied to about who a person really is. I have been in disguise for so long protecting my princess and my family that I.." Choking up on her words, as she tried to stay true and finish what she needed to be said. Star Healer's emerald eyes were glazed in tears of sadness and pain. Trying to remain strong even though she watched the person she loved crumble before her very eyes. Knowing that she had done that her. She wanted to fix this situation and make Kira happy once more. But that moment was gone. So much pain radiated from within that her Sailor Change Star began to glow once more and pulse. Not in transformation but from the pain she felt. The others would no doubt feel that something felt off. "Kira... I love you so much... I would never do anything to hurt you. I hope somewhere in your heart and mind you know this... I am so sorry that... you... feel.. this way...I" Feeling her words being silenced as she watched Kira grip her transformation wand with such hostile emotion, she knew whatever else she would express would be null from this point on. Falling silent and completely defeated.

"...I-I'm sorry... I...I just think I need some time alone to process thisโ€ฆ"

Standing there a mess of emotions swirling around in her mind, unable to form any words of persuasion towards Kira to stop her from leaving. Reacalling what Seiya had said to her earlier, "Oi Yaten... Her safety comes first. I'll catch up with you later." She provided the simple nodding of her head. Feeling as though she wasn't welcome any longer, she took a step back away from Kira. Her left gloved hand reaching up to steadily rest along her pulsing sailor change star. Uncertain as to what to do from here. Her original mission was to escort Kira home... something she failed in doing. She was reluctant in leaving just right off the bat. Waiting for Kira to make the move to head on to the house and felt like she needed to at least watch her from afar. Which would of provided Kira the space she needed to proceed to her homestead.

Meanwhile . . .

Dark Star Kingdom

While Rin had her own mission and was being sent away to do so in preparation for Sunday, Knight Kurayami had been scanning the area looking for other potential locations that could be of interest. The Dark Star Kingdom had been planting crystals throughout Tokyo underneath the rubble of what is now ruins, Hotaru already had been looking there for clues and may have found something linked to them.
That was the plan, knowing the Sailor Senshi were going to come out eventually and start looking for clues, Kurayami wanted them to find the crystals he had been placing - having them in the possession of the Sailor Senshi was his first plan.

User Image

Inside the Dark Star Kingdom, was another woman who had been watching Kurayami's progress. She observed everything he did, judging silently on things she would do differently.
As she sat on one of the large chairs, which looked like a throne... there were other chairs like hers that formed a circle, and in that circle showed the city of Tokyo almost like watching live television, everything the Senshi were doing, they were being watched on any activity the Dark Star Kingdom had been doing and any time the Senshi had faced them - unknown to them, they were closely being watched by others.
Sighing, one of the women stood up as she watched Kurayami leave the room, the sound of his footsteps getting further away caused her to follow the man as she spoke up. "How long will it be until we find the others? this place is so dull... nothing exciting has happened, only youma here and there... Yami-kun ~ Are you struggling?" she said, taunting him on that last sentence.
"No, I know what I'm doing. This plan will take a lot of energy though, and unlike you lot... I'm not sitting around watching." he scoffed, glaring at her.
"Oh my, you are snippy today!"
"You will address me as Knight Kurayami to you. I shouldn't have to answer you either, you're not who I report to. You report me and so far you've done nothing but complain."

The woman smirked and giggled at his response. "Touchy touchy... well fine. I'll help you this time... but only because I'm bored and watching you plant crystals around the city isn't very exciting."
Pausing for a moment, Kurayami glanced at her and threw an odd-colored stone toward her, causing her to catch it. "Hm, what's this?" she asked, looking back up at the Knight.
"That stone contains a virus, ideally that was made for the Moon Princess we have heard about... apparently she is on Planet Earth and has no way to transform but she still has powers. That stone will attach itself to her heart, the Ledenardary Silver Crystal will react it to which is what we want. Depends on how strong-willed her mind is and how this plays out... either way, there is a time limit and she'll start seeing things differently and that will make it easier to capture her...all you need to do is find her. I'm going to get gather human energy and start activating the crystals... do whatever you like but don't get in my way." He said, turning around and walking off. The dark aura that surrounded him made his figure disappear.
A bit surprised, the woman glanced at the stone, thinking about what he just said before watching back over to the group of chairs and continuing to watch what Kurayami was doing as she glided her fingertips over the stone, rotating it as she was deep in thought.

Seiya couldn't help but stare at Rei for a few seconds before trying not to laugh at her. "Actually that sounds pretty accurate, Rei. You're the Fire Princess, show me how it's done!" he said, blurting out a laugh, it was funny she heard something different from Seiya, and got some amusement from it.
After the idol said things 'weren't great' and told the shrine maiden he was there for her. The expression and answer he got in return made him think he said the wrong choice of words at the time.
"Don't you mean ... that you're here for Usagi, Seiya?" seeing she looked as though she wanted to cry "That's someone who needs everyone's support right now. I know Usagi won't show just how hurt she is currently. I feel... I feel Usagi's pain. I feel Mamoru's pain too but not as strongly as I do from Usagi."

Concerned, Seiya turned to face Rei, seeing her break down into tears was almost as bad as watching Usagi cry. They all seemed to be hurting, it was like they were all feeding off each other's emotions without realizing it. "God... what a mess things are right now. I feel badly for Chibiusa! She's so young and..."
Seiya already felt bad, but didn't show signs of how he was really feeling, knowing that he was partly to blame for that, if not most. Staying silent, his eyes shifted toward the distance as he thought about what Rei said, about Chibiusa.

"......."

His thoughts got distracted when he pulled out his Star Change and told Rei why it was reacting. Something must have happened as she had transformed while Kira was around.

"Do you want to go after her? And if you do.. do you want... backup?"
"Huh? Go after her . . . you mean Star Healer? Nah... we've always had good communication, especially if something bad has happened, Star Healer and Star Maker know what they should do, and always contact me soon as it happens."
Narrowing his eyes at his Star Change, his voice got softer as if he was thinking out loud. "...If something was wrong...she would tell me. I trust her." being in the moment, Seiya closed his fingers into his palm, holding the Star Change as he nonchalantly changed the subject, not surprised Rei wouldn't fall for such a trick.
Noticing she became rather close to him, then her hand rested on the hand that was holding the Star Change, pulling him back to the previous conversation.
"I can be your backup. Be your support. After all, you said that you are here for me, Seiya. I am here for you."

Staring at her for a few moments after she finished speaking, his other hand lightly rested on hers, still maintaining a softer voice. "...Thank you, Rei. I appreciate that. If something does happen, then you can be my back up."
It was as if Rei knew something may happen, which wouldn't surprise Seiya at all considering she did have some sort of sixth sense when it came to this sort of situation.
Unknown to them, it already had started to happen, it was only a matter of time until Kira and Star Healer would get caught up in it.

Watching Rei head outside to get some air, only two of the Three Lights returned, and already there was a bit of bickering.

Quote:
"...Where is she? Is she coming?"

Quote:
"No. Kira didn't want to come in, no thanks to you. Yaten is walking her home as we speak."

Quote:
"Gomen, Rei. I didn't think things would turn out like this... Yaten will likely stay with Kira... for how long I don't know but I can relay any message back that's important."

Quote:
"I don't think anyone did, Seiya."

Quote:
"I suggested that everyone take a break and get something to eat while the food is still hot. As well as, take a breather. A moment of time to reflect on everything that was said."

Quote:
"We can restart the meeting, soon. Hopefully on a better foot."

Even though the room felt icy, Usagi looked around the room. Haruka was on her phone, what looked like she was scrolling through it - who knows what she was looking at.
Taking a moment to look back at the food, Usagi perked up and spoke. "Don't mind if I do! I'm starving!"

User Image

Glaring at Usagi while she stuffed her face, Chibiusa rolled her eyes and couldn't help speaking her mind.

User Image

"You're such a pig, Usagi..."
"What?! I'm not going to let all this food Rei-chan prepared go to waste! Everyone, come and have something to eat! Or I really will eat it all!"

User Image

"BAKA! You should at least step away from the table and sit down! Stop hovering over the food while you're talking!" Chibusa barked, it was like their usual fighting hadn't changed, and maybe Chibiusa just needed to let some steam out, knowing she was already angry at Usagi even though it was now nit-picking.

User Image

"YOU'RE THE BAKA, YOU BAKA!"
While the two basically were at each other's throats, Usagi noticed Seiya had left and gone in the same direction as Rei, following her.

User Image

Now, Usagi was distracted and wondered what was going on, why did they seem so close? Scanning everyone for a moment, the blonde-haired girl wandered off. "Gomen... Chibibusa... excuse me..." she mumbled and then looked at Mamoru for a few seconds before turning around and walking into another room and down the hall, going the back way to where she thought Rei and Seiya were. As she walked past a few rooms, Usagi walked past a room in particular and had seen something which made her stop. It was Seiya's guitar. Her eyes traveled to the large suitcase beside it. "This is..." she whispered quietly, recognizing Seiya's belongings such as his guitar case. What could this mean?
Walking near the patio from the back, Usagi stood there and heard mumbling, from Seiya's voice then Rei's. Getting closer, Usagi listened as she managed to peek around the corner.
The timing of their conversation wasnโ€™t at itโ€™s worst, having missed what they spoke about prior. Hearing anything now would make someone believe and think the worst!

Seiya's things in the spare room? Them being close to each other, which involved some physical contact? Sure Seiya was a bit of a flirt but still...Usagi thought the worst. This made sense, Rei had been acting differently, and Seiya has been distant towards Usagi, not being able to be in the same room as her for no more than five minutes. There has been no contact between either of them.

"Rei-chan... and Seiya? But... why...?" she thought to herself.
Usagi's heart sank and tightened as she wanted to interrupt their little heartfelt 'moment' knowing she felt jealousy burning up inside.
Rei was her best friend, why would she do this?! She tried in the early stages of Mamoru and Usagi, but really? AGAIN?!
Despite being a little ditzy and a crybaby, Usagi wasn't that stupid - putting two and two together having seen this behavior before. If Usagi had found out about the concert, things may have gone worse as it would seem somewhat favoritism from Seiya.

Not wanting to listen in anymore, Usagi went back the way she came quietly, but her whole attitude had changed for a few moments before having to fake a smile even more than before. she was in pain, for losing Mamoru and now Seiya.
Mamoru knew her best, and from her facial expression and the way her body language came across would make him realise something had happened as Usagi was deep in thought.
Still, it didn't need to last for too much longer as the group would soon find out they had another important event happen, one they all would need to go to, which would distract Usagi, making her attention be focused on that even though everything currently seemed to be eating away at her slowly.

Once Usagi had heard about the news that Kira and Star Healer were in trouble, Usagi immediately acted on this and ran out of the room, not saying a word . . . .

This reply onwards is from Kira's point of view.

. . . . . .

Quote:
"And that's... my fault Kira. I should have let you live a normal life without you having to worry about being a Senshi. That was selfish of me to take that dream away from you and I am legitimately sorry for crushing your dreams. I hold responsibility for that and I hope that one day, you will forgive me. I... I wanted you to know who I am so that you would not be disappointed and shocked later to find out who I am at a much later date. That would have been ... devastating I imagine. To realize that you have been lied to about who a person really is. I have been in disguise for so long protecting my princess and my family that I.."

While Star Healer was speaking, Kira watched the tears roll down Star Healer's face. "I've... upset her... we're both hurting..." she thought to herself once Star Healer paused, she then continued to speak.

Quote:
"Kira... I love you so much... I would never do anything to hurt you. I hope somewhere in your heart and mind you know this... I am so sorry that... you... feel.. this way...I"

Her body language became very stand-offish by this stage, watching Star Healer raise her gloved hand towards the pulsing Star change. Kira watched the glowing that came from it as Star Healer took a step away from her. "Oh--" Kira said quietly, realizing Star Healer was distancing herself between the two as she had stepped back.

Kira raised her hand, reaching out to Star Healer's gloved hand that was resting on her chest as she took a step closer to the figure in front of her, trying to approach her and comfort her.
"Star Healer...I... I-"

A voice was heard in the distance, which stopped Kira from speaking to Star Healer any further.
The archer's eyes widened, withdrawing her hand back which was centimeters away from touching Sailor Star Healer's gloved hand that rested on her Star Change quickly, then turned around to look toward where the civilian's screams came from. That killed the moment, what was left of it anyways.
Once again, the sinking feeling of not being able to properly speak to Star Healer bothered Kira once more. The two of them needed their own space, room, or wherever that wasn't in public. Somewhere only they could talk.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

"GET HELP!!"

"RUN!!"

Multiple voices were heard, which snapped the sad mood out of Kira, and instantly it was like she remembered who she was, her whole deminer changed as she looked back at Star Healer and whispered "... Interrupted again..." briefly, for a moment she expressed how sad she was feeling, before looking back towards where the people began to run out from. "What am I doing? I have to focus on the mission!" she thought, gripping the transformation wand tightly, Kira took off knowing Star Healer would most likely follow her.

Running towards the screaming, Kira turned down a side street which ended up on a main road near a petrol station. The archer was fast, she had to be in cases like this. While turning down the main street, Kira abruptly stopped, laying her eyes on a familiar man who had been using his scepter to what look like drain energy from civilians.
The bodies looked like a mass murder that had taken place, no blood though. Everyone who was laying on the ground looked pale, and their bodies looked cold. There were about six of them spread out on the concrete, but Kira was more focused on the man.

Kira's pupils grew large in anger, gripping her transformation wand, the archer couldn't hold back and blurted out while still in her own 'disguise'.

"...you... IT'S YOU!"

The man turned around to face her, he didn't seem to recognize Kira but spoke back. "Hm? Oh..." he said, unfazed. "...You think you can take me on, human? Just like some of these people tried?" gesturing to the bodies on the ground briefly then a smile grew on his lips. "That's pretty pathetic."

"SHUT UP!" Kira snapped, obviously in rage, again not thinking and only focusing on how upset and angry she felt, Kira, took the side bag off her shoulder and threw it to the side of the footpath while she gripped her transformation wand. Probably by this stage, Star Healer would be with Kira, if not following beside her even though Kira ran off pretty fast. There was still time for Star Healer to contact her Leader and the others before she got to where Kira would be.

"You're the reason why I'm here, you took everything from me!"
Kira yelled, while tears began to resurface and rolled down her cheeks. "Princess Jupiter is gone because of you!"

The man looked puzzled, at whatever it was that Kira was yelling at him, even he was confused but the name 'Princess Jupiter' made his expression change to more amused, sparking his interest a little. "How cute, let me guess... Do you want revenge? That's not going to bring anyone back."

This made Kira extremely angry, causing her to do something even more unthinkable, especially in front of the enemy. "You're wrong, you know nothing about what I'm capable of!." Taking a step forward, Kira raised her left arm in the air and finally, chanted the words which would reveal something that she didn't think Star Healer knew, even though she did, this really would confirm it.

"๐“ข๐“ช๐“ฐ๐“ฒ๐“ฝ๐“ฝ๐“ช๐“ป๐“ฒ๐“พ๐“ผ ๐“ข๐“ฝ๐“ช๐“ป ๐“Ÿ๐“ธ๐”€๐“ฎ๐“ป...

...๐“œ๐“๐“š๐“” ๐“ค๐“Ÿ!"

I've never transformed in front of anyone before... I didn't think I would do it so soon either. Perhaps doing this right now was a mistake, I should calm down but I'm in so much pain because of him.

Star Healer doesn't know who I really am... I too have kept things from her. I'm blaming her for keeping things from me when I'm just as guilty.

I'm sorry, Star Healer. I was speaking my pain to you. It's not your fault, it's mine. I should have found time to open up to you as you tried with me.

Coming out of the transformation, and posing for a few seconds, Sailor Sagittarius took a few steps backwards, judging her distance before charging towards the man and jumping herself into mid-air, flipping her body on the other side of Star Healer so the man who stood before them was in the middle of the two. "Your opponent is me." she exclaimed, moving her body to a sideway position while using both her hands to summon her bow and arrow, then aiming at the man.

"Ahhh you're a Zodiac Senshi... just like her..." he said half turning so both of them were still in his peripheral vision while looking at Sailor Sagittarius, acknowledging the type of Senshi she is. "And you stupidly transformed in front of me. Now I know who you are..."

User Image

Sailor Sagittarius wasn't phased by his words and focused on her own attack, holding the bow and arrow in her stance as she answered, narrowing her eyes "The dead don't speak..." implying she had planned to kill him.
"Those are some tough words for someone with a bow and arrow as an attack... Sailor Sagittarius. You're the archer, your power ranges from a distance, and so... you're at a disadvantage right now, especially if you are aiming for me..."
A very faint smile grew on Sailor Sagittarius's lips as she answered back "Who said I was aiming for you?" taking a few seconds before letting go of the arrow. It flew past Knight Kurayami, centimeters away from his face as it sliced a few strands of his hair, almost like she was just taunting him. Sailor Sagittarius was aiming for a nearby tree, which the arrow stuck into, having a plan in the back of her mind if the worst were to happen.
Again, Sailor Sagittarius summoned another arrow, taking a step back as she positioned herself in a stance, ready to attack. She had purposely moved it even further to the side making it look like she wasn't going to aim for him at all, but her fingertips that held the arrow turned the arrow slightly before she pulled it back more than let go. The man she aimed for looked already amused seeing the arrow fly past him but then curved back around, coming at him from behind. He must have sensed something wasn't quite right, maybe it was Sagittarius watching the arrow expecting something to happen, however, he half turned around, and it didn't hit him in the head which was where she aimed for originally but it did slice across his cheek, causing him to bleed, angering him.

"... You b***h, you're going to pay for ruining my face!" he hissed. Looking even more pissed off she was able to get him still, which triggered him to then attack promptly.

He activated his Septer as it lit up and glowed wildly.
Sailor Sagittarius was focused on that more than the flash that happened right before her eyes as what looked like black electric waves had attached themselves around the archer's body, stunning her momentarily as she gasped. The pain of the electric waves was something she had not felt before and seemed to somewhat make Sailor Sagittarius fall to the ground, almost like it was forcing her to sit down, but she kept her hands on the ground, resisting the weight she was feeling. Gritting her teeth, Sailor Sagittarius thought "I... can't move... what even is he exactly?" she thought, raising her head upwards to get a glance at him through the strands of her hair that fell in front of her face before Sailor Sagittarius tried to get back up again.

While the fight was happening, the woman had been watching from the circle as it was on view with Kurayami, something caught her attention very heavily which caused her to stand up from her seat after witnessing Kira's transformation. "So you're here too..." Gripping the stone tightly in her hand, the woman vanished from the Kingdom.
"I couldn't miss this... especially watching a dear friend suffer..." The voice echoed, then reappeared beside Kurayami while Sailor Sagittarius finally stood up.
Shifting her eyes to the man beside her "Do you mind, Knight Kurayami? Don't take it personally... but this one is mine." The woman said, looking back at the archer with a smirk.

Knight Kurayami turned his attention to Star Healer "Don't you even think about helping your friend... if you move, then I'll attack you too." he said, his scepter glowed, planning to attack Star Healer if she tried anything, knowing that she was concerned for the other Senshi. [Insert any fighting here]

Sailor Sagittarius didn't recognize this woman at first, watching her jump into mid-air and using her free hand, the woman summoned a spiral of flames that wrapped around her arm and ejected off towards Sailor Sagittarius. That attack Sagittarius recognized, which made her delay in dodging it. "That's... it can't be..." a gasp came from Sailor Sagittarius's mouth as what looked like a fire rope had wrapped around Sailor Sagittarius's body, trapping her. "HNNNGG--AHHHH!"
The woman shifted fast to appear behind Sailor Sagittarius and spoke only for her to hear. "Why are you here? You could have much better things..." her eyes shifted to Star Healer, then back to Sagittarius. "The Dark Star Kingdom has more of us..."
Gritting her teeth from the pain of getting burnt, Sailor Sagittarius managed to get ahold of the flame rope and pull it off, along with another cry of pain as she dropped it quickly, then spun her body around to face the woman, placing both her hands either side of her shoulders and pushed her backwards. The woman felt the shove of the archer and placed her hands on Sailor Sagittarius's gloved wrists tightly. "Traitor! How could you?! You've chosen this life instead of being with your Princess?! What have you done to her?!" she yelled while forcing the woman against the tree that the arrow was pieced on, pinning her against the tree.

Although the woman was also in minor pain from the archer's grip and force, then having her back slammed against the tree, the woman let Sagittarius do that. Seeing now Sailor Sagittarius crying, the tears once more rolled down her cheeks and the look of betrayal was written all over her face. "This life is better... I have freedom...where you're stuck in a primitive life surrounded by Sailor Senshi who are from the twentieth century. My powers have advanced whereas you can't even defend yourself... so why are you really here?"
Sailor Sagittarius paused before answering, knowing that her answer could bring even more chaos. Her eyes shifted to again look at Sailor Star Healer then back to the woman. "I...found someone...special." the archer whispered, knowing this would make her upset.

Glaring at Sailor Sagittarius, the woman narrowed her eyes, and that hateful expression was displayed all over her face from jealousy. "And I found you." letting go of the archer's wrists, the woman held out her hand for a second, and that same stone that Kurayami had given her to use on someone else appeared in her hand, she then proceeded to impale it into Sagittarius's chest where her bow sat, and her body absorbed the stone as it moved into her chest. A purple-black aura glowed around that area, causing Sailor Sagittarius to let go of the woman and scream out in excruciating pain.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

Sailor Sagittarius put her hand on her chest and fell to the ground, gripping the star object tightly that held her bow together. Continuing to cry out in pain as the thick purple aura glowed around her body, it was obviously causing her severe pain. She could feel as if the insides of her body were on fire, causing her to feel an extreme case of heartburn. Sitting on the ground, the archer had one hand on her chest and the other on the ground, holding herself up as she shut her eyes tightly from the pain, her hair draping over her face.

"Your pain is nothing compared to what I've had to endure." she said, glaring down at Sailor Sagittarius before turning around to join Knight Kurayami.

The archer opened her eyes a little, watching the figure move away from her. It wasn't until then the others had then arrived, but by this stage Sailor Sagittarius's body started to glow like it was about to reverse transform back to her civilian self. "...Sh*t... I'm.. losing consciousness..." looking at her hand that rested on the ground, it pulsed into a blur every so often and her vision started to deteriorate.

Hearing a familiar voice in the distance, Usagi spotted Sailor Sagittarius who was on the ground. "Sailor Nova!?" she exclaimed, running to her side. "Sailor Nova!! You're hurt! what happened?!" concerned, Usagi saw the purple-black aura that now and then emitted from Sagittarius as she placed her hand on Sagittarius's shoulder, just underneath the metal plates but instantly Usagi's hand was shooed away from the archers as she snapped "Don't touch me!" realizing she sounded harsh, she had to add "Usagi! You need to go somewhere safe, don't worry about me!"
From placing her hands on Sagittarius, Usagi's Crescent Moon had reacted to the dark magic that came from Sagittarius. "No! I'm not going to leave you!" the blonde-haired girl cried out, ignoring whatever she was told by the Senshi.
Sagittarius looked at her about to object to her statement but then saw the crescent Moon on the girl's forehead, and her eyes widened as she realized who Usagi was. "...You're..."

~ Flashback ~

Princess Jupiter and a very young Sailor Sagittarius both sat outside, looking out from the Jupiter Kingdom, it was a garden of flowers and plants everywhere - blooming from the sparkling sun that beamed done on them.
There were children in the distance playing, which made the young Princess smile as one of them seemed to be getting teased - it reminded her of when Usagi would pout like that, and then deny anything the group said.
"That one girl over there, she reminds me of our Queen."
Looking in the direction of where the five children were, there was a girl similar to Usagi that had long blonde flowing hair, around a group of her own friends which looked similar to the rest of the Senshi. "That girl over there?" she asked, pointing at the group.
"Mhm, yes. Neo Queen Serenity was our Queen, and she was also our Princess too. She wore a long white dress, and her hair was always long and flowing like that girl. Neo Queen Serenity had a Crescent Moon on her forehead only unique to her and her daughter. That was the first thing we all saw back when we were young, much like yourself."
"Really? Will we ever meet her? Where is she now?"
"One day, you will. She lives in her own Kingdom, much like ours... minus the plants and flowers because they'd be all dead." Princess Jupiter giggled at that last statement and then added, "But she was always thinking about others before herself, that's what made her become who she is today. That's what made her a Princess because she was so pure."

--

Completely shocked, another piece of the puzzle as to why Usagi--what seemed like a 'random girl' knew the Sailor Senshi, had been answered. "Neo Queen Serenity..." Sagittarius mumbled quietly in awe as she watched the Crescent Moon fade from Usagi's forehead. It only ever seemed to react when Usagi felt so strongly about something or someone.

The woman turned around and watched Usagi trying to help Sailor Sagittarius, and heard the name she addressed her by. "Sailor Nova? Is that what they call you on this Planet?" speaking directly to her.
Usagi gritted her teeth and stood up, moving in front of Sailor Sagittarius as if she were protecting her. Usagi turned to face the woman who was standing beside Kurayami. "Who are you?! Why are you doing this?!"

Now, the question was put on them, giving them a chance to introduce themselves, having a name to go by.
"Hmph...brave human for speaking up..." Knight Kurayami muttered and answered her question. "I am one of the Five Knights... Kurayami of the Dark Star, and why we are doing this is none of your business."
"...And I'm Lady Miya..." her eyes shifted to the archer as she continued "But in my previous life... I was once known as Sailor Scorpio, Guardian of Planet Mars."

Miya is a girl's name of Japanese origin with several meanings, including โ€œtemple,โ€ โ€œshrine,โ€ โ€œrelax,โ€ and โ€œbeautiful.โ€ This well-rounded name is unique in the US but popular in many other cultures. It can be spelled as Mia, Myah, and Miah.

"Sailor... Scorpio? Planet...Mars...?!" Usagi repeated, her tone sounding surprised and confused. Knowing this would affect Sailor Mars too, just the thought of Sailor Mars having the same fate as Sailor Venus, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Jupiter was hard to think about. Losing another friend, especially one she felt the most connection with caused Usagi to tear up.

"Why look so shocked? Don't tell me... she never told you?" an amused expression displayed on the woman's face. "Oops... you do have a lot to talk about... judging by your expressions, she hasn't told you much, has she?" Miya was amused this may have pissed a few of them off, but that was her intention completely, hoping to have them be angry and pit themselves against Sailor Sagittarius, and then her to be alone, again.

User Image

"That girl you call 'Sailor Nova' is actually Sailor Sagittarius, and there are twelve of us scattered around the universe. I must say I was surprised to see that you're here, Sailor Sagittarius. Maybe you need to all have a nice long chat and educate your friends about the Constellation Senshi and the Dark Star Kingdom."

Shoot, even one of her 'own kind' said this to her, this made Sailor Sagittarius look bad, intentionally keeping things from the others, especially as she called out Star Healer just before. Miya was the opposite in that sense, she didn't have any problem telling the Senshi things whereas Sailor Sagittarius always tried to avoid it and kept everything to herself.

Feeling the weight of a few stares here and there from the others, Sailor Sagittarius glanced away as she answered. "...I was trying to protect them, you knew what our mission was and yet you joined the Dark Star Kingdom anyways." Looking back towards Miya again, she continued speaking, raising her voice. " As Constellation Senshi, we swore to defeat them, not join them!"
Miya shrugged and answered back "That doesn't matter to me anymore, and it shouldn't to you either. You won't have any control over what you do or think soon anyways, and you'll join the rest of us eventually..."

Unsure of what she was talking about, she already felt empty, confused, and mostly shocked from everything that happened in the last hour, Sailor Sagittarius still was sitting on the ground trying to control the heartburn she felt, but it was also her own feelings that were overwhelmed too. From witnessing Yaten transforming to Star Healer, finding out who Usagi really was then seeing Sailor Scorpio, someone she closely knew years ago. Sailor Sagittarius felt even more confused and it clouded her judgment and thinking process, leaving her feeling numb.
Unable to answer back to that, Sailor Sagittarius was already not feeling great, and whatever it was Miya did to her seemed to make her feel weak. But that didn't stop her from lifting her head up and shifting her eyes towards the arrow that was pieced into the tree behind her, knowing the attack she was planning to use was a sacrifice attack, if not kill her - it would very much do unhealable damage but she kept that to herself.
It was just grey cloud in the sky, which was perfect for what she needed, thinking back to the time she had used it once before recently - it was something she wasn't meant to use again in such a close timeframe, being days apart. This attack took weeks to recharge, and the physical toll was straining for her body. While the arrow was 'charging' through the tall tree, the tree was at the highest point given their current location, closest to the sky - Sailor Sagittarius needed to be high up to use this attack, since the last time she was on top of a roof, right now it was just waiting for the right time to use it while trying to ignore the current pain she was in, which made it hard.

User Image

"โ€”WAIT! How could you be fighting against Sailor Sagittarius?! Isn't she your friend?! And if you're from Planet Mars, then what's happened to Sailor Mars?! ...PRINCESS MARS?!" Usagi yelled, trying to stop the woman from leaving while she tried to understand why someone would be doing this. Usagi demanded answers for the sake of Sailor Mars.

"Friend? I don't need or want such a thing. And don't worry... I haven't forgotten about her. . . " Miya's gaze shifted towards Sailor Mars, holding eye contact with the Sailor Senshi as she spoke. "I'm sure you all have plenty to talk about now..." Knowing she had broken that silence and secrecy between Sailor Sagittarius and the other Senshi, Miya was always good at stirring things up then leaving.
Turning to Kurayami, she got closer to him and placed a hand gently on his arm while he used his scepter to activate a crystal that was a few meters away from them. "Apologies for causing all this drama, but we'll leave you with a parting gift just to show how much we care ~ " her voice echoed as they were about to disappear, triggering a youma to surface from the crystal that was placed on the ground earlier.
