S'lys of Brown Leoniath

Quote:
4. You manage to take off, though your dragon seems to scrape his or her wings against the ground a bit, and seems to struggle to gain altitude quickly. Thankfully, they make up for it, seemingly no-worse for wear. If they're a brown, bronze, or gold, they'll need to flap extra hard to make up for it, and possibly by-pass V'res, whoops. Whites, greens, and blues will over-compensate and shoot up a little too high, too quickly, oops.

S'lys watched as the others gathered, it wasn't just Leoniath's clutchmates. Odd. He held his riding leathers in one hand while his other rested on the nape of Leoniath's neck. The young dragon was eagerly watching his clutchmates and the other weyrlings pour in. "What do you think we're all doing here?" S'lys whispered.

It wasn't long though, before he got his answer. They were going to be flying. He felt that strange pang of excited fear he'd gotten during the hatching. This time, however, it was more tilted toward excitement. Leoniath was eager to fly as was he. It had been something he'd been fascinated with. He'd made a few trips by dragon but this would be his first with his own dragon!

Leoniath watched the others vaguely as he put riding straps on Leoniath. He was careful to make sure they were tight enough, not that Leoniath gave him any input on their comfort. It wasn't long before he slowly made his way into the straps, securing himself. "Ready?"

"Since before I hatched!" The young dragon purred, preparing for his own turn. When V'res gave the pair the ready, Leoniath pushed himself with all of his might. However, in his excitement, his large and a bit ungainly wings scraped the ground, making him falter. Both brown and rider were jolted, even as Leoniath caught himself with another large flap of his wings. He was a tad higher than he should be but he let out a low roar. Yes! He'd done this on purpose!

The rest of the flight went smoothly, with the pair landing about as smoothly as one could during their first flight. It was just about as nerve wracking as S'lys had anticipated. As soon as his boots hit dirt, he found his way to Leoniath's wings, inspecting for damage.

"Oh you worrywart, I'm fine." Leoniath flashed his wings out wide, "Not even the Thread can harm me!" His boasting was only met with a glare.

Nyaranau [HR] - 19 - she/her/hers - Weyrling of Gold Mictecath

Quote:
11-20. Your take off was beautiful, and you make it up to where V'res is hovering with Tagtarth. If your dragon is known to be a proud sort, or showy, they wind up purposefully flying higher than they should, and then wind up getting buffeted a bit by a gust of wind. Whoops! This could mean they're going to take a harder landing if they don't recover. Roll a D4. Odds they recover and can land semi-okay. Even means they don't, and take a hard, botched landing. Whoops.

Quote:

Bouncing on the balls of her feet, Nyara was glad for the riding garb that hid her grin. Both sets of weyrlings had been called. Both sets. Tagtarth’s call had not been specific, so it just had to be. That meant… well, it could mean any number of possibilities… but given that they had been practicing mounting and dismounting… and…

You’re going to think yourself into a frenzy if you’re not careful, dearest heart. Mictecath remarked, with a small rumble of draconic humour. Her long tail curled about Nyara’s waist, as if to calm the young woman’s bouncing.

Well, can you fault me for it? We’re going to… look, we’re all here! All of us! She gave a general wave to her fellow weyrlings, an unseen grin spreading from ear-to-ear.

First flight, V’res said. First. Sharding. Flight. She took a deep inhalation to suppress a squeal of excitement, laying a hand on Mictecath’s head. The young Queen’s eyes whirled faster, her own anticipation and joy building at the prospect. Together. We’re going to fly together, at last. At last.

Just you wait and see, NyaraMine. We belong in those skies. They are ours. Fiercely proud, the golden dragon peered skywards whilst her rider gave their instructor her full attention.

Mounting had become easier with all of the practice they had put in; despite Nyara’s intense desire to be aboard, she did a final check of the riding straps. Once mounted, she gave Marty a small thumbs-up, though was uncertain if her fellow goldrider had seen it. Weyrling goldrider pressure was... well, Nya was glad she had someone with whom to share it.

Mictecath, who was as confident as her rider, felt a flicker of concern for her siblings and cousins. Would any need extra help? She twitched and fidgeted, peering around for any signs of imminent worry, until Nyara thumped her side. Come on, silly wherry. You can’t worry in advance for things that haven’t happened. There’s no sense to it. Gentle love passed between them, dragon and rider united in their faith and affection in each other.

The young queen faced the sky and gave a small, challenging bugle, before launching herself upwards. Nyara’s heart leapt into her throat as Mictecath rose, undoubtedly a picture of beauty and elegance, power and control. The take-off felt so smooth and easy! Her dragon was right in her element, the curly-haired rider realised. She gave an ecstatic whoop of joy, punching the air as they flew further and further upwards. This was perfect. They were perfect. You did it! Look at you go! Nyara’s thoughts drifted from sense to nonsense as she revelled in the thrill of their first flight.

There was Tagtarth and V’res, hovering at a respectable height… and, oops, there they were again… somewhere in the distance, down below. Oh, wait. Hold up, Mic. You’ve gone too high. Wait. Nyaranau tugged a little across their bond, all of her mental buoyancy crashing down upon the realisation that they were no longer following orders.

Too late, Mic realised the error of her ways. Her delighted croons turned to an undignified squawk of surprise as a strong gust of wind pushed her out of her measured flapping, and she spiralled downwards with a remarkable lack of self-control. NyaraMine! Hold tight! Came her mental cry as she righted herself. Long wings fanned wide, and instead of flapping Mictecath focused on catching a thermal that would steady them.

They landed roughly, unharmed save for their pride, and Nyara slid off her dragon and ran to her head, her own bowed. I’m so glad you’re not hurt, my darling. But we have to pay more attention next time? We might be queens, but we’re not infallible.

Mic gave a small rumble. Soon, then. She amended, as her confidence returned to her. Nyara chuckled, stroking her muzzle gently.

R'iz & Bronze Bossuth

Quote:
66-76. You did fine! Nothing to write home about, but you at least got up there without injury!

R'iz had been training with Bossuth for weeks and weeks on his flying, wanting to make certain that those strong chest muscles would hold him aloft and not just for the simplest of reasons. While they needed to have the little bronze's wings strong enough for smooth take offs, the redhead had discovered that his dragon enjoyed being in the air far more than he enjoyed being on the ground. While there were still times, many more than there should have, that Bossuth would slink back to a quiet resting spot to hide and have time to himself, whenever he could he enjoyed being up in the air. It was a chance to explore, to see everything and soak it all in.

One hand ran up the dragon's neck, checking straps and reassuring all at once, because while the both of them were excited there was just a slight bit of trepidation there as well, fluttering around in their stomachs. "You're an amazing flier, this'll go nice and smooth. Just remember to breath." R'iz said quietly as he pulled on one last strap to make sure it was good and sturdy. Maybe it was his history in a crafthall or that metal and leather were easy for him as he'd made a number of necklaces out of them over the turns, but the straps had been almost simple in a way. More complex in that he needed them to be tight and safe, but a process that he enjoyed at least. "I trust you." he added as he climbed up and strapped himself down tight.

It helps that you're very light. There was laughter in Bossuth's voice as he ribbed his small rider, taking his first lumbering steps towards where he would take off and fly up into the sky with him for the first time. Despite how he rolled his eyes at his dragon, R'iz couldn't help his grin even if he tried to hide it. This was their start, the very first chance they had to fly together that would lead to them being a pair of threadfighters in the future. Ready? Bossuth didn't actually wait for an answer, as he already could feel it even if R'iz didn't have the chance to answer, and with a movement he took off into the air, large wings wobbling just for a moment before leveling out.

Straight into the air they both flew, wind rushing over both of them at once. Though he was trying to keep his face serious and all about business and focus, R'iz's smile spread and spread the higher that they climbed, still managing to keep an eye on their direction and the state of their straps as they went. He wanted to take it all in, to relax into the act of flying itself as it felt so natural to finally be up here with Bossuth, but it wasn't going to be a very long. In fact they had already curved up past V'res and Tagtarth and were gliding smoothly down towards Nizoanth before he even had the chance to process that they were about to land. There will be plenty more chances in the future, this is just the beginning after all. You were right.

Back legs kicking out, the bronze landed with a series of hops and bounces that jarred R'iz a little in his straps but left him chuckling despite it. "Well, we'll just have to work on your landing for next time. Apparently not so light eh?"

Oh haha. But there was an overwhelming joy for the future in the words Bossuth spoke.

Zamistia and Brown Nanuth

MistyMine, Tagtarth is calling all of us to the Bowl. Make sure to bring our riding straps and leathers,Nanuth thought to his rider, as the brown of one of the assistant Weyrlingmasters reached out to them.

Alright, thank you for letting me know, Nanuth. We have been doing a lot of work on getting..ready to ride, do you think it is time?Zamistia asked, knowing her brown knew exactly what she meant.

It might be and I certainly hope so. I love being able to fly, it is time I take my light with me. You will actually get to see how beautiful it is up there,Nanuth told her.

I just hope I am ready for this, the petite red head thought back, worry in her voice. She got her riding straps and leathers, making sure she had everything they would need. She put the straps securely into place, with encouragement from Nanuth to let her know when it felt perfect. Then with a gentle push from her dragon's muzzle, they headed for the Weyr Bowl. She felt love and affection wrap around her from the big brown walking beside her. He assured her that they would be fine, he wouldn't let anything happen to her.

When they got to their destination, she saw that it was all of the Weyrlings from the double clutch. As V'res explained what they were going to be doing, it confirmed her guess on what this was about. She felt a sense of nerves bubble up more inside of her, but also some excitement rise in her. She went about checking her riding straps as she waited, making sure they really were the way they should be.

Mine, they are fine, you did wonderfully on them. I am so proud of the work you put in to make them,Nanuth assured, reaching down to gently nuzzle her face, earning him a gentle kiss on the nose. Then he worked on watching Mictecath, Anakumath, his bronze brothers/cousins, then a couple of his brown relations take off first. He made mental notes on everything they did, to see where he could improve on what they did. Then it was finally there turn as he helped Misty into her spot, then wrapped her in a mental blanket of strength and love. He pushed off from the ground, his wings flapping to gain altitude.

Zamistia was holding on for dear life as they took off, but nothing seemed to go wrong. Actually, once her stomach stopped doing somersaults, she realized it couldn't have been more perfect of a take off. She might have closed her eyes for a moment, but felt the mental prodding of her dragon to open them, so she could see the view. So with that push, she opened her eyes and gasped in surprise and wonder. She could see V'res on his brown, they had made it to where they were supposed to be. Unfortunately, her enjoyment of the view was cut short, when Nanuth wanted to show off a little and flew a bit higher. Before she could even suggest he get them back to the proper altitude, she felt a gust of wind smack into them like a ton of bricks.

Hang on, Mine. I am not going to let you be hurt,Nanuth assured. Sure, he liked showing off, but as he wobbled a moment in the air, he knew he had just put his beloved at risk. So with some effort, he began his descent for the ground, putting everything into turning this into landing the way they should. As his feet hit the ground, he slid a little, but he managed to end up with both of them safe.

Sorry, my light, was all he said as she slid off of him. However, his thoughts gave her plenty to know how bad he felt. She hugged his neck gently, to let him know she forgave him.

ar’din & bronze alquemieth

It is time, the dragon said with deep satisfaction.

Ar’din didn’t have to think long and hard about what his life partner meant. Gathering both classes together had to mean a special occasion, and given what the lessons had been leading towards, the class for today became apparent. Prior to weyrlinghood, Arc had had no special feelings towards flight one way or the other, but after sharing the thrills Alquemieth kept sending him when he flew alone...Well, the gateway drug had done its deed.

He flexed his fingers and watched. At least it wouldn’t be long before it was their turn.

Alquemieth’s lidded gaze didn’t reveal his thoughts on the individuals flying before them—aside from Bossuth’s, that is. His bumbling twin had managed to do a perfectly average take off and landing, surprising enough. How good of him to avoid showy disasters like Venandith. But now it was the real bronze’s turn.

Quote:
91-99. What a rush! You were on fire! Maybe you showed off a little bit once you were actually in the air, but you did it! Everything went fine, and if the glide down was a little too steep, you hardly noticed it. Good job!

The pair had done their due diligence while they waited, checking straps and mentally ticking off exercised muscle groups. Ar’din wasn’t nervous. He didn’t double check straps, drum his fingers, or seek assurances from his dragon, or anyone else for that matter. No matter how much he socialized, the giant whip of a man continued to stay content being an island unto himself.

Today, some of his bronze’s unwavering confidence seeped into that image. He crossed his arms, leaned against the dragon, and observed.

When it was their turn, Ar’din gave the straps a once over out of show more than actual concern, hopped on, and the two simply appeared in the air like they had always been there. Like they belonged. For someone like Ar’din, a feeling like that used to be alien, but now...Now it seemed so...easy.

Do not downplay the hard work this took, Alquemieth said, though his fierce pride colored his words. Remember the steps we took to get here. See the path that lies beyond. Let this taste of the world show you: You and I were meant to be a cut above the rest!

For once, Ar’din took the idea to heart.

The pair flew magnificently. At his impulse urging, Alquemieth even executed a tight roll, shrugging off the weyrlingmaster assistant’s warning as they passed. Perhaps in their eagerness, Alque took too steep an incline to land, but neither of them thought it rocky once his paws touched down and those large wings furled back in.

Ar’din found himself grinning, an extremely rare expression. He glanced at the crowd, maybe at someone in particular, before hopping off and gently slapping the bronze’s hide in an equally rare gesture of open affection.

Alquemieth said nothing, though he exuded an aura of pleasure and pride. He didn’t need to say anything to his clutchmates; he was sure his actions spoke loud enough.

arlie & white alegriath

Both of them were more than happy to be the last in the air. For Alegriath, it gave her more time to cheer her clutchmates on, to send the adoration and attention to those who asked (and some to those that didn’t), and especially the ones that demanded. She was a fountain overflowing with love and support, bouncing from paw to paw, eyes in dancing blues and purples. This was an amazing day!! Flying!! Together!! Everyone!!!

Arlie, meanwhile, let her anxiety stew. She had been dreading this day, not just because it was paired flights, but because everyone was there. And even a small group outside the weyrlings came to watch. Was Haveli going to see from wherever she was? Her palms broke into a sweat, and she leaned into Alegriath’s love with knitted brows. Arlie was used to the ground. She wasn’t sure how well she’d do in the air, support system or not. Every time she watched someone move too high or too low, her stomach twisted. What if she fell off? What if—

Hey! Alegriath touched nose to snout, her magical gesture of safekeeping. No more, okay? I love you and will keep you safe. It’s gonna be fun!

Arlie sighed, took the white’s head into both hands, and kissed it in return.

Quote:
81-90. You take off, and everything seems fine... Until your dragon catches an updraft that pushes them a wee-bit higher than you intended. If your dragon is prone to panic or anxiousness, or might get upset about this, they might try to compensate by diving down, or folding their wings to drop some altitude. If they go in for a landing, it could be a bit of a crash. For dragons who are a bit more in control, they should be able to fly out of the thermal and come in for a semi-decent landing. Hope you're not afraid of heights!

If she clutched at Alegriath too tightly, the dragon didn’t react. Arlie tried to imagine it was like riding a runnerbeast back into the stable, only with less galloping and more flapping. And a lot more altitude. More than expected. Her heart shot into her mouth when they hit a thermal, and she bit down a cry as she pressed against the white.

S’okay, Alegriath assured, tickled by the surprise more than anything else. Promise! Tiny updraft stuff. We’ll head back down now, love.

Arlie hoped she didn’t look half as pitiful as she felt passing V’res on the way.

That wasn’t so bad~ We’ll both get better! Don’t worry.

Reya and Green Raqisath
With all the work Raqisath had put into building up her strength in preparation for this day, Reya was reasonably certain neither of them would die or be permanently maimed by today's activities, though after watching some of the other pairs it became a little more challenging to keep her outlook optimistic. Nevertheless, she was doing her best to think positive, confident thoughts and not to dwell on her reservations regarding Raqisath's size relative to her own, and the percentage of extra weight the green would be carrying as she ascended.

I think we will probably be fine, Raqisath reassured her bond as Reya mounted up and secured herself with straps and harnesses. Then she added, a little less reassuringly, But you did doublecheck the straps before you mounted, didn't you?

Reya ordinarily would not have bothered to reply. Of course she had checked the straps. She was not prone to the sort of carelessness which would allow a person to forget that step. But today she did not want to give her dragon anything to worry about besides getting them up to and down from Tagtarth's perch in the same number of pieces they'd started with.

I checked. Everything's fine. Although she'd not actually flown in these straps before, or alone, ever, so she wasn't sure if what she was seeing and feeling was actually correct. Well, it would have to do. Ready when you are.

Ticene and Green Metlath
Uuuuugh. Why do we have to wait? Metlath let out a frustrated huff as she lay sprawled out on the ground. Sleek tail, thumping the ground, swishing back and forth the young dragon's eyes whirled an irritable orange. It was so stupid. Of course all the big ones got to go first. They got to do everything first. She had been desperate for this day since before she had even hatched and yet here she was, watching these lumbering giants flounder around. A particularly heavy thwump of her tail had the green's rider looking down at her.

Ticene was mostly ignoring the pouting green as she moaned about how unfair it was. Metlath liked things to be fair. At least her version of fair. While her rider had taken the opportunity to check over their straps, observe the other pairs' attempts and generally be busy, Metlath had opted to flop herself down on the ground and sulk.

Maybe they need to go first. Because if they saw you and the other greens take off they'd be too embarrassed to even try. Metlath tried to be grumpy, but she couldn't help the laugh that crackled in her mind. The feeling of a sly smirk slipped into Ticene's mind as she turned her attention back to adjusting Metlath's straps. Her comment seemed to pacify the impatient dragon for at least a short while. Metlath never had been good at sitting still, but this was probably the worst so far. Still, part of Ticene was relieved that she'd managed to get to this day without Metlath being impatient enough to attempt this without supervision. Even if the green did think she knew what to do.

Finally it was their turn. Metlath was up like a shot, streaking to the starting position. The green was practically vibrating with energy, her eyes too bright as she stared at Ticene. The young woman could feel it in her dragon's muscles as she climbed into the straps. Metlath rapidly whirling eyes followed every motion at Ticene strapped herself in. The straps were pulled as tight as they possibly could be, because, frankly, Tic didn't trust her beloved dragon to not get carried away. After her final checks the rider settled, her gaze finally meeting that of her green. Metlath's face split in an expression that was actually rather disconcerting. On a human it might have been considered a sly grin, but on a dragon it was a wide showing of teeth.

They didn't need to exchange words, Metlath felt it the moment that Ticene was ready. Racing forward she made two leaps before surging into the air. Tic is confident that her stomach stayed on the ground and the sudden change in altitude makes her head spin. Leaning forward the rider keeps herself focused on the hide of her dragon's shoulders, breathing deeply in through her nose. So focused on her breathing, Ticene doesn't even notice the way that Metlath shakes in the air as her lithe frame adjusts to the extra weight. However, the green is far to elated to care. Her joy blazes, radiating outwards as she does exactly what she always wanted to do. Her wings drive the pair even higher, probably too high. The strain of her wings as they drive them up just adds fuel to her enjoyment.

Finally the green levels out into a glide, mentally reaching back to sooth her rider. You will get used to it, Mine. There wasn't even a trace of doubt in Metlath's mind. They two were made for the skies. The dragon coaxed her rider into sitting up. Now that they were no longer gaining altitude, Ticene was actually able to get some sense of control over her stomach. Looking around she actually took it all in, her own joy slowly building to swirl together with that of her green. It was as though they were in a world of their own. Where the only thing was the feel of the air over their bodies. Closing her eyes Ticene took a deep breath, noting the slight adjustments that Metlath instinctively made as she maintained her glide. She caught the flash of mischief on a heartbeat before Metlath banked slightly. The yelp that escaped her was slightly undignified and earned a delighted cackle from the green as she righted herself.

You did that on purpose! Ticene accused as the pair prepared to descend for their landing. Metlath flashed her teeth again. I don't know what you mean. I suppose it's for the best though. You'll need to get used to flying if you're to be a real rider ...T'cen. Immediately bristling the weyrling opened her mouth to protest. They had this discussion. Now was not the time. Any number of things might have come out of her mouth, but any possibility of speech was snatched away as Metlath sudden pulled her wings in close, dropping into a dive. In future Ticene might be ashamed to admit that she screamed as the dragon raced towards the ground. It wasn't quiet fear, she knew Metlath wouldn't hurt her intentionally, but accidents happened.

Opening her wings once more, Metlath angled into a slightly more controlled descent. She didn't plan on slamming headfirst into the ground. Uh oh... This was too fast. Turning her wings to catch as much air as possible the green tried to check her speed, but she was too low and too late. The green mentally scolded herself. Didn't adjust for the extra weight. Claws touched ground and she skidded, gouging deep marks in the ground as they went. The greens legs finally stop, but her body isn't out of momentum just yet. Falling forward her chest hits the ground with a heavy thunk, and Metlath is vaguely aware of Ticene slamming into her back.

Ticene curses, her hands flying up to her face. They don't do much to stem the blood pouring out of her nose though. Metlath looks back at her and at least has the decency to look sheepish. The green looks about, seemingly just now aware that everyone can see them. Looking up at Tagtarth she reaches out to the senior dragon. I'll just- um, take T'c- uh, Mine to the infirmary and get her face checked out. With that said the green quickly makes her escape, not even giving Ticene a chance to climb down.

Quote:
21-30. Your take-off was a little shakey but you wind up high in the sky. You fly past V'res, do a nice glide, but your landing leaves much to be desired. If your dragon is bulky, fat, or overly-muscled, they land way too hard and potentially chip a nail, ouch. If they're lighter and more delicate, they wind up catching themselves, but do take a little bit of a tumble from the momentum, and might wind up running into some of the gathered crowd or fellow weyrlings. Look out!

Haelwen arrived in the weyr bowl with Sthenoth at her side, her eyes widened a bit when it was announced they would be making their first flight together. She hurried to double check all of her gear, not wanting a rookie mistake to be an issue when they already had so much doubt directed towards them because Sthenoth was a white. Haelwen huffed quietly and rolled her eyes, the expression conveniently blocked by her partner who chuffed with amusement. Haelwenmine, the time has come to show them that we are not to be overlooked. Let us show them confidence and make them take notice of our abilities. Sthenoth pressed her nose into Haelwen's shoulder, an affectionate display, but also one that had a soothing effect on her rider and allowed her to regain her rationality and focus.

You're quite right beautiful. Up until now they have given us cursory glances but this is our time to command the attention you deserve. Let's show them our best, shall we? The young woman patted her dragon's side before climbing up and waiting for their turn. The pair watched as pair after pair made their first attempt at flight, some doing better than others, and then it was their turn and Haelwen took a deep breath, slowly exhaling before letting Sthenoth know she was ready.

Things went quickly after that, the pair had talked many times about how it would be to fly together and had decided that Sthenoth, being the one with the wings and instinct, would be allowed to take things at her own pace and Haelwen would chime in with encouragement or suggestions if needed. Luckily Sthenoth had been doing well in lessons thus far and the pair ascended to be on level with V'res and Tagtarth without any problems. They hovered there for a moment, Haelwen smiling broadly towards the man and his brown, excitement flowing through her veins as it sunk in that she was flying! Sthenoth's eyes whirled a vibrant blue, proud of herself for her efforts thus far, as she began to glide down towards Nizoanth.

The landing was smooth as well, and as soon as Haelwen dismounted she was hugging her dragon for all she was worth and cooing about what an amazing job she had done. It wasn't until she heard her brother's voice that she looked up and realized he had been part of the crowd that had gathered to watch. She smiled brightly at him before leading Sthenoth out of the way for the next pair, and began chatting with her brother as well as a few of the other weyrlings she had grown close with during lessons. Wasn't that the most amazing moment ever?!

OOC: look! they do exist! kind of *coughs*

R'kar and green Kaymahath

It was the moment R'kar had been dreading and looking forward to all at the same time, to be free, on Kaymahath's back, to learn how to fly together so they could go wherever they wanted. Kaymahath herself had neither looked forward to it nor dreaded it, it was something that was supposed to happen, she was hatched for this, she and R'kar, together in the air, as things should be.

R'kar studiously checked the riding leathers, making sure all straps were tightened and since he was dilligent in oiling them, they were as strong as they could be. He mounted as normal, taking deep breaths while he watched others succeed or stumble and when it was their turn he leaned forwards, a silent thought to his dragon, ready as he could ever be.

Kaymahath lumbered a little bit, used to his weight but not in preparation for flight such as this, despite the practice ground drills. As she took off, she pumped her wings hard, knowing she would need extra oomph to take off but she misjudged how much downward pressure she would need and her wingtips brushed the ground, throwing her off balance, she halted, then beat her wings hard again, shooting up higher than either anticipated. R'kar's knuckles turned white against the saddle as his stomach lurched with Kaymahath's blip, but they'd made it, they were in the air.

R'kar grinned, leaned forwards and rested his cheek on his Green's soft, warm hide, "We made it" he croaked, Kaymahath answered with a surge of warmth and love, turning a complete, slow circle in the air before coming back to land, her hearts swelling with pride and love.
