Now that there was some competition, Sukai got excited. It was his chance to shine. He started to dance in the sky, doing his best to impress the lovely green. He might not be as agile or nimble as the smaller browns or blues, but that didn't mean anything. He was strong. Powerful. And he could still be graceful.
His hearts dropped at the thought that perhaps, once again, his color might not be good enough, or that he might simply not be what she would choose, but at the same time, the sight was something breathtakingly beautiful to behold.
And her song... he couldn't help but respond with a deep reverberating tune of his own. He wasn't really one for compliments and empty words. He was a bronze who prized actions above all else.
N'dir wasn't complaining. Far from it, he adored His, and this life as a rider was different, and had saved him from death. But there were still times this life threw him curve balls. Most often where it involved Sukai's independence and opinions on certain things. Such as Flights. And how he didn't have much of a choice when it came to that.
'Yeah. Perks.' Hand went to his temples to try and relieve some of the pressure he felt, not that that ever did much. Luckily Sukai was such an easy-going bronze, he didn't have to deal with spikes of emotion like other riders he'd heard of. 'Let's hope this flight is true to form then.'
Shorter flights meant less side effects, and he would be thrilled to not have to be bedridden for days to recover. 'Tea sounds great.' He offered a small smile, and extended his arm as a courteousy if she wanted to take it. He did have some manners after all.
Sukai is willing to catch or be caught by any other should he lose, any color or gender – he isn't fussed either way
N'dir isn't interested for this flight

His attempt to gain a better vantage had worked to his disadvantage, Huarangith saw with dismay. He was falling farther and farther behind, outpaced by bronzes, browns, and blues. His self-directed irritation carried through his bond to R'bin, who did his best to send his brown thoughts of reassurance. There were some things R'bin simply could not help his dragon with, and mating flights were among them. He did not have a dragon's innate grasp of flight dynamics, nor of the clever acrobatics dragons performed when they didn't have to consider a rider's safety, and so he could not hope to prepare any sort of strategy for his dragon. All he could do was offer support and encouragement, which was actually somewhat challenging when he, too, was feeling antsy with secondhand lust.
Reminded of his bond's unqualified love, Huarangith's chest puffed up with pride. Even if he did not win this flight - and he had certainly not given up hope that he might, still, emerge victorious - he still had the best, most understanding, cleverest human in the world to share his life with, and that counted for something. Buoyed by this confidence, the brown surged ahead, zipping back into the fray, by this time lagging near the tail end of the risen dragons.

Her body is beginning to tire. Cloveth is not the biggest green by any stretch of imagination, and this is certainly no fall to keep her hearts blazing. But her body contorts, following a thermal more befitting of a sheet in the wind than a move on a dragon’s spine. But she trumpets for Zaleeth, words failing in a wordless song to encourage the glimmering lady on, on, on.
“Oh, so many perks they don’t tell you as a bright-eyed candidate.” Amiari smiled, hands fussing to loosen her hair from its bun. Any bit of reduced pressure would certainly help the growing headache that held her captive like a vice. But who was she to deny Cloveth of chasing, of her hearts’ yearn?
“Tea, maybe my child made some sweet cookies for us to try.” But the offer of N’dir’s arm surprises her in the best way. “How chivalrous! Thank you~” Her hand curls around his elbow once more, beaming at the younger rider. How sweet.
First roll: 64 (+ 5) = 69 Second roll: NEGATED cos Prism is a dang DING and forgot to roll a second time / +0 = 69 ! Chance roll advantage +100 = 169 Third roll: 78(+ 5)= 83 (252) Fourth roll: 20(+ 5)= 25 (277) Fifth roll: 95(+ 5)= 100 (377)
Amiari is not willing to be caught this flight Cloveth is open to being caught by another suitor, should she lose
