Bio: Amalahle was born an only child to a single mother. Since her mother was secretly guilty for leaving her mate, causing her cub to have to grow up without a father, she spoiled her daughter quite a bit. Amalahle thus grew up able to get what she wanted, when she wanted, and learned at a young age how to blackmail and manipulate. When she reached adolescence, she left her "worthless" mother in search of a place to call her own. In her wanderings as a rogue, Ama came across a male lion by the name of Chardon. She fell in love with him instantly. When she learned he was part of a pride, the lioness decided to do whatever she could to get in and make that lion hers. In the end she was left pregnant and abandoned. She was hell-bent on revenge against the male who spurned her, but eventually gave up along the way and found peace. Presently Ama is still very good at twisting things around to get what she wants, and does so quite often. She's cool-headed and mature, carrying herself with sophistication and elegance. She dislikes anyone at first, and she especially has a difficult time with cubs. She will never be a good mother. In her eyes, she's better than anyone else and isn't afraid to let others know it--in a dignified manner, of course. As time goes by, she's becoming less snappy and selfish, revealing a more quiet, accepting kind of attitude. She had a cub of her own which didn't go as planned, but the experience gave her compassion for her own mother who she left as an adolescent. She's currently searching for her in hopes that she can make amends...
Bio: Komali was born a tactician. As a cub he'd sit by himself, using rocks of varied sizes like toy soldiers, and plan out battle strategies and fight scenes, which is something that has stayed with him as a hobby. Komali has had a stutter since he learned to speak and since he can become extremely frustrated when he can't convey what he wishes smoothly, Komali more often than not just broods by himself in silence, playing his war games. But when someone approaches him with an interesting topic and truly doesn't seem to mind his speech impediment, Komali will talk animatedly through his stutters and forget all about it. On the whole, he comes across as sour pessimist who'd prefer being by himself, and for the most part that's true. But once you get past the wall he erects to hide behind, Komali is a very talkative male. He also has a bit of a vain side, stopping now and then to clean up his fur and move his hair out of his eyes in just the right way, but only out of self-consciousness. He has an innate desire to be accepted even though he doesn't show it, and he fears that someone might not like him because of how he looks or speaks. Born of vampires in the Mwana-a'Lela, Komali himself remains true to his vampirsm. He keeps close to his jungle home and never ventures out during daylight hours.

Bio: Sly, clever, rough, quick-witted, a sweet-talker with a silver tongue. Durion is a con man. He'll charm his way through anyone and anything if they have something he wants. He'll charm his way inside someone's life, gain their trust, and then take all their shinies (items, precious things, etc.) and run off without guilt or remorse. He trades in his newly collected wares to others in exchange for certain things he needs or is interested in (top-quality food, trinkets that could be useful to him, etc.), or he'll use them as bribes or presents for certain ladies he decides he wants to con (or just sleep with). Sometimes he keeps the stolen goods for himself to hang on his walls. If the situation calls for it, Durion can warp his personality completely. He's an actor; he has to be to do what he does. One of his "friends" might know him one way, whereas if he meets a complete stranger and decides they have something he wants, he might act like a completely different lion. Durion is an unpredictable beast if talk of his past comes up, or if you're just someone he doesn't like and you happen to annoy him. Later on in life, Durion went through many experiences which changed him and made him a more caring and understanding individual. Inspired by the innocence of a cub, he tried to see the world through her eyes--as he once had before the tragedy in his own youth. He stopped taking advantage of others and began looking for redemption wherever he could. He did his best to right some wrongs, but there was one wrong he was too late to make amends for, and its aftermath was too much for him to bear.

Bio: Always fidgeting, always thinking of something completely off-subject, always smiling. Gogo is a genuinely happy, hyper girl who can be a little random and out-there. She speaks in third person (except sometimes while acting) and loves saying her name repeatedly over and over and over...and over and over again. It's extremely easy for someone to spend some time in the same place as Gogo only to decide a few minutes later that they'd rather chew their own foot than stay in her company any longer. She's random, strange, maybe a bit off...but she's a giggly ball of energy and never has bad, hurtful intentions towards anyone. She's rather innocent, but when the topic of death and gloomy things come up, Gogo tends to laugh despite herself. She loves playing pretend and making up elaborate stories in her head which she often acts out. She's not above dragging random strangers into these stories, either. It's all fun and games to her. She's not completely crazy, just a little out-there. You have to have a certain kind of mindset to tolerate and get along with her, but Gogo, on the other hand, gets along with anyone just fine. Presently she works as Idili'su's assistant, helping him with any tasks or errands he requires for his experiments.
Bio: "I am shadow, I am stealth." That is Midori's motto. Unfortunately, this cheetah is nothing like her motto. She can walk out in the middle of plain sight and stand there out in the open, truly believing she's "blending in". It makes for good humor in the eyes of many, so most play along with Midori and act like they can't see her when she's standing right next to them. This only succeeds in fueling Midori's beliefs. Midori's is a pretty laconic cheetah. She speaks when spoken to, in a low, quiet voice. Other than that, she remains mostly quiet as a good ninja does. She doesn't use much expression on her face. She doesn't often get caught up in the craziness or humorousness of others, not because she feels she shouldn't, but because she just doesn't really enjoy it. She'd much prefer going out into wooded areas to "train". While Midori may be what most would consider a joke of a ninja, she often gets away with incredible feats due to the fact that she is a seer. This predictive ability has helped her through many "missions" and some have even gone so far as to hire her for protection and special services. Those who know her to be a joke don't take the threat seriously, which is to Midori's full advantage...

Bio: Zakura usually acts as the older brother figure to those he's close to, using his intellectual nature to come up with solutions and advice. When something doesn't go his way, or his advice falls through, he becomes extremely down and frustrated, but hides his feelings with a facade of normality. He can hold a grudge forever, often dreaming of dark things that he wishes upon those who have made him sulk. Zakura also has a deep, dark secret that he tries desperately to hide... He has a bit of an obsession with his spots. When he first saw his reflection in the water, Zakura thought that his spots were fish scales. He came to believe he was part fish. When he sees the spots on his arm, he tries to scratch them off (when no one's looking). He goes through phases. When he notices the spots after a while, he'll politely end any conversation he was involved in, walk off, hide somewhere, and fret about his "scales", really embarrassed by them. But this always passes and he becomes extremely embarrassed that he is standing there thinking he's part fish. He prefers to stay pretty close to the ocean most of the time, as he sometimes, with dread, thinks he "belongs" there. But at the same time, in some situations he has a profound fear of water. He thinks he's doomed to one day become the mate of a fish, hating the idea simply because fish are so ugly and female felines are so pretty (he's a bit of a closet pervert and peeping tom). But dreams of beautiful fish-feline-mermaid princesses ease his dismayed, secretive thoughts. As time passed and Zakura grew up, he learned to stop being a little closet pervert and "came out of the closet" and matured. He's presently rather suave around females (of all species) and has become quite the ladies man and a gentleman of sorts--someone who can look at another with a "come-hither" glance and have them interested, while maintaining proper manners. Being infertile hasn't affected him in the slightest as he cares much more about female affection than producing cubs. He's also be a bit better about the whole "part fish" thing, realizing that it's impossible to be part fish. But not entirely. The thought still lingers every now and again...
Bio: Kitu is a quiet, observing male. He takes in every detail of his surroundings much more than normal. For example, he'll see three pebbles lined up side by side and notice that the pebble in the middle is slightly larger than the other two, while noting the distinct difference in colors between the pebbles, and so on. From then on, he will remember where said pebbles are and how each looks forever. For a male, Kitu's voice is soft and almost feminine-sounding. He speaks in third person like his mother since she's the one he learned speech from. In his adolescence he tried to break the habit and speak "normally," but had little success and gave up. Since he spends so much time alone, you'd think Kitu is fine being by himself. In part, he is. But he also fears isolation, when his mind begins to play with the shadows on the rocks, morphing them into dark creatures that taunt him and say cruel things to him. As a result, Kitu struggles with insomnia and only manages a few minutes of sleep at a time, as his paranoia will begin to itch at his mind and wake him. Kitu was born to an insane, unpredictable, sometimes cruel, sometimes loving vampire in the Mwana-a'lela, and was raised in complete isolation from the pride until he was an adolescent. He was still raised on their beliefs and practices, however, and retains them to this day. Sometimes he drinks blood with reckless abandon, and sometimes with extreme guilt. He was discovered by the queen who brought him into the pride, where he slowly began to adapt to a more normal life. His attachment to his mother was deeply rooted, albeit conflicted, and he came to the harsh realization that no one else would be able to fill the void she once did. When the pride began to fall apart, Kitu took to isolation once more, hiding himself from the world, secretly hoping to find his mother once more, while also hoping to never see her again. He was convinced he would be alone forever. That is, until he met Lamya...(TBA)
Bio: Cerberus is rather slow in the head. He's unable to comprehend what most people can, slower to understand long sentences, and has difficulty with reading into deeper meanings of things. But Cerberus is never frustrated because of how his mind works. He's a very sweet leopon and always puts others before himself. He tends to be the cute wallflower in most situations, simply sitting back and watching, and only using his small voice when he has to.

Bio: Sweet to generally everyone, she'll always give you a serious ear whenever you stop her to talk. Sometimes one gets the impression that there's more going on behind those shining silver orbs than meets the eye, however. She's kind of a flitting mystery, smiling to one person in one spot, then gone the next, or floating off on her light steps to see someone else...she's almost ghost-like. Being on her own for a lot of her life (she was never able to find a new pack to join after leaving her family) has made her very street-smart and quiet a lot of the time since she hasn't had many people to talk with before joining the Kitwana. Pengana has a very deep understanding of death and she does not take her job lightly. But she'll flash a bubbly smile at you when the job's done all the same.
Bio: An aloof and grumpy smart aleck, Vito doesn't particularly like anyone, but he can develop tolerance and acceptance towards someone...eventually. He was made bitter during his youth after his traumatic separation from his beloved little sister. Years later he met the lioness Crabanniel who sparked some long-dormant emotions, and Vito decided to temporarily leave the pride with her to aid her quest for revenge. He returned home after some time with the lioness in tow. Vito used to experience auditory hallucinations when he was younger. This voice was clearly female, and he could hold vague conversations with it. He came to believe his auditory hallucinations were the demon within him. This fact was a deep secret that Vito kept until his adolescence when he encountered a female snake named Lilith. Being made to believe she was his demon in physical form, Vito kept the snake close and she became the closest thing he had to a friend, never knowing he was being used. After spending time with the snake, Vito's auditory hallucinations lessened and eventually vanished completely. While the two aren't the most caring of companions, Vito is bonded closely to his "demon" and one is never seen without the other.

Bio: As a seer, Lilith knew Vito was hearing a voice in his head and that he was slowly slipping into a lonely state of madness. The cunning snake took advantage of Vito's situation and befriended him, making him believe that she was his demon manifested. Her reason for doing so was that she needed protection and a place to stay--a gang of eagles were targeting her, and she could only run for so long. What better place to hide than within a pride of evil-looking lions? Plus, she'd get easy meals. She had planned to leave after a while, but changed her mind after she got used to the arrangement. While the snake is still rather cold and even cruel at times, her black eyes regard Vito with a certain fondness and she is quite protective of him.

Bio: Yakasa is curious, thoughtful, and protective. He also walks willingly into danger to protect those he cares about and is always willing to go the extra mile for a friend or stranger. He's very boyish and has a strong sense of duty. He's always willing to help someone in need and will never abandon someone in trouble. He's a bit of a white knight--training hard to better himself one moment, and playing with cubs the next. He can be a bit shy and clumsy around females, and whenever he tries to shake off his shyness, he always screws up somehow and does something to make himself look stupid. Yakasa "shadow-fights" as part of his training. He imagines a foe before him and then fights with it. This peculiar training regimen is extremely embarrassing to him, so he often does this far away from prying eyes.
Bio: Born to a mother that didn't want her, Ramla was dropped off in the Mizimu'Tungika with a couple of her siblings. During the Rival metaplot, a male lion tried to "save" Ramla and her brother, Palak, from their eventual sacrificial fate. When the two cubs tried to flee, the male attacked. He caught hold of Ramla and badly scarred her face, leaving her partially blind in her left eye. The two were soon rescued, but for Ramla the physical and psychological damage was done. Presently Ramla is quite bitter, angry, and inwardly fearful. She is self-conscious of her appearance and wears an array of masks to hide her scars, changing them out with her mood. She has an extremely hard time trusting others and can be rude to strangers as a result. Luckily for Ramla, her anxiety easily translates to confidence due to her stoic nature. She has learned to use these combined mysterious aspects of herself--all of her varied masks and the way she carries herself--to her advantage. Since the Mizimu fell, Ramla has become something of an amateur assassin. She may be interested in becoming a professional if the right pride came along with the right offer...
