Koru's presence warmed Kirsi, but she wasn't shaking because she was cold. Still, as she let herself be led away she felt the tremors calm as if they were. That dirty rotten liar, she thought, furious. This was Marcus' fault, all of it, and he just kept getting in the way. She never called Ray a monster, that was lie and Marcus knew it. But she wasn't surprised, since Marcus would say anything that he felt like. Kirsi met Koru's eyes amidst the storm of her own emotion and felt herself taking a deep breath, like her dad taught her to do. On the fringes of that memory were Ray and Rina, but for now she focused on the here and now.
"Okay Koru. I..." She had already decided to tell Koru when the right chance happened, and here it was. She wanted to try talking to Ray first though.. a part of her almost didn't want to after what Marcus said, but no, she'd decided she needed to talk to him before that liar cam over. She was talking to Ray because she was worried, not because of Marcus' lies. "Yeah. I promise. I'm... sorry. I'm kind of being like-"-like Ray. With a start Kirsi realized she'd been acting similar to how he had, not telling Koru what was going on. She was still better than Ray- he had completely ignored Kirsi as if he didn't even know her. But... she had to see the similarities. "-like a jerk," she finished, not wanting to voice her failings out loud. "But you're right. Now we have to focus." Kirsi smiled, for Koru, and as they parted ways she found that she had been able to trick herself, just a little, into feeling better. Koru was a really good friend.
Kirsi checked over her pokemon, making sure they were both ready to battle. She wanted to do good in front of Cyril, and she knew she had to be putting her all into her next battle, so she used almost all of her rare candies to get her team ready before heading out.

Koru didn't let his words phase her- he knew what he said couldn't be true. Kirsi wouldn't be the kind of person to say such things. Admist all the chaos of this conflict she would stay at Kirsi's side, now that it appeared she was their main target. She slowly began to feel less and less of Kirsi's body tremble while she had her arm around her,"Kirsi,"she paused her walking and let the girl go, leaving one hand resting on her shoulder,"You know I don't believe him right?"
It seemed as if she was going to say something, but she paused hesitant. Koru patiently awaited the girl's next words. She knew whatever was going on Ray was the epicenter and Marcus was causing it to spread more and more, hurting him, but without anything to go on she felt useless to do anything. Her eyes perked up when she heard Kirsi's voice again. She was apologizing and promised to tell her. She was so hesitant trying to say anything but once she called herself a jerk Koru couldn't help but hug her friend tightly with a large grin,"Not to me Kir." She let go and patted Kirsi on both shoulders confidently, giving her a reassuring grin again,"Do your best Kirsi. I'll try my best to meet you in the arena!"
Koru waved to her friend, and Cyndaquil to his fluffly friend, and sprinted off to the locker rooms where surely Nirav was waiting for her. Everything with Marcus probably put her a little behind but she had a gist of what would happen this battle. unbetknowst to their challengers, this fire type trainer just had a flame lit under her that would maker her stronger than ever.

Maria didn’t know what to do less much say with regards to how the boys were arguing about her. It was partly the reason she hadn’t said anything to Elijah at the time. That was until Mr. Reyes appeared. “They’re fighting over me…” She replied quietly. Watching as Mr. Reyes Scizor prevent the two from going head to head. Waiting while Marco and Silvano got scolded for their crime (if you could call it that) Maria folded her arms. As far as she was concerned they weren’t battling with the proper respect so they shouldn’t have been battling at all.
Of course, Maria was just a kid and seemingly no one listened to her. She turned her attention to Iris when she spoke and shook her head. “It’s not your fault. I’m well, aware of what Silvano’s problem is.”She said. Had he been anywhere near her at the point she would have glared at him. Luckily Mr. Reyes returned explaining that the two boys would be paired up for the tournament.
Maria didn’t believe it would help, not even for a second. Silvano would always hate Marco no matter the circumstances and vice versa. Despite not being able to now be partners with Marco, the brunette didn’t mind the idea of partnering up with her roommate. Iris was still her friend after all. Well there was nothing she could really do about it now. Iris said a few choice words before telling her she was heading inside. Maria nodded to the green haired girl before turning her attention to Lillipup. “Come along Lillipup.” She said heading inside. They had a tournament to compete in.

The conflict between the boys wasn't looking too good as they brought out their pokemon to fight. He sighed hearing Maria's explaination as to how this ended up happening in the first place,"This...is a little immature isn't it?"He suddenly felt a hand rustle his hair and as he turned to find who Mr. Reyes walked past. Eli watched the man in awe as he summoned a Scizor and the pokemon stopped the fight between the boys. Eli's eyes were big with admiration,"So...so cool!"he whispered loudly to himself, though it was audible for anyone close by. We watched on as their instructor scolded the boys and dealt their punishment. He felt bad that the girls had to receive a bit of the punishment in a way, but at least they wouldn't have to deal with these guys as partners when they were so riled up with each other,"Sorry about your partners, but this'll probably be a good lesson for them."
The crowd started to disperse and enter the arena, so he waved bye to the girls and made his way in to try and find Marcus, his partner for this tournament. It was quite a crowd already and he was about to call him on his gear, but he caught sight of the brunette in his peripheral vision. He spun excited, but it died down into confusion as he watched his friend approach a familiar red-head.
At first his confusion froze him but he watched Marcus go at her, his expression slowly change, and Kirsi go back at him. He gripped his pokegear to the point the parts made noises. He started to xoom past people, for a moment he could hear Kirsi loudly, what were they saying? His stride was quick, but not as quick as Koru who seemed to have swooped in from out of nowhere. He finally took a breath and slowed his stride only slightly, it looked like Koru was trying to diffuse things, but knowing Marcus it wasn't going to work. The girls walked away as he stopped just behind Marcus, but he heard what his friend said to them as they left.
His brow was sunken and eyes glaring the floor. He was hesitant before grabbed Marcus's shoulder and grumbling,"Why...you didn't have to do that!"Before he could vent his feelings, the referee appeared and announced the beginning of the tournament. He mumbled under his breath and let go of Marcus's shoulder,"...We better get to the arena."He would have to hold it in til later but, after what he just saw, could he fight alongside Marcus right now?

The stadium was previously filled with cheers and shouts from the excited crowds that were witnessing the battles, however; all that came to an abrupt end. Officer Jenny just finished announcing the end of the tournament due to "certain events," which was a very vague reason, but that's not why the crowd became silent. The roars of dragon Pokemon coming from different locations in the district could be heard. These roars followed by commotion coming from outside the stadium was causing some panic to rise from inside the crowd. This was the "certain events" that Officer Jenny was more than likely describing. The roars were followed by sounds of attacks firing and the crowd in the stadium started growing in panic. Office Jenny stepped out once more in an effort to calm down the people. "Everyone calm down and please listen to me! We must exit the stadium and reach the designated safe zone areas! Please everyone follow the police officers and in a calm orderly manner let's exit the stadium!" Her announcement seemed to calm the crowd down a little, but everyone was still looking nervous and the sounds of crashes followed by more roars was not helping. The announcement was not just meant for the crowd watching the battles, but for the participants of the tournament as well. The officers were mostly helping the district folks, but they were trying to guide he students who were in the tournament as well. They had Pokemon which meant that if anything happened then they would be the most protected.
Officer Jenny watched with a worried look as the stadium was slowly becoming more empty. Things were moving, but they weren't moving fast enough and from the reports they were receiving it looked like things were getting worse in the district. Information was coming in through all different channels about the condition of the district: there were dragons loose. They weren't given all the information yet probably because the dragons took priority over anything at the moment. There were three dragons, but these dragons were unlikely any Pokemon anyone had seen before; they were rare and very valuable and now they were attacking the city. The reports mentioned three locations were the dragons were striking; Leoconoe Ice Rink, Snorut Icy Hut, and the Leoconoe Canal. The dragons were targeting everything and their eyes were red in rage. Legends spoke of how Dragon pokemon can become so enraged that they go into a berserk mode, a confused state, where they don't see a difference between friend or foe and all they do is attack. The Leoconoe police force was doing everything they can to keep the people save by moving them to safe areas, but they didn't have enough power to handle the dragons either. They would need the help of any Pokemon trainer available.

Mysterious Figure
The district was under panic from the dragons attacking. Good. A grin formed from a mysterious person's lips; their large black cloak made it difficult to tell the gender or any other characteristics to give some kind of identity. This cloaked figure was on the move or more accurately they were running away from a pursuer. Their pursuer was rather stubborn as the figure was chased from rooftop to rooftop with the pursuer using their Pokemon to aid them in the chase. The mysterious figure was incredibly athletic and could easily move around and evade the pursuer. However, the chase came to an end when the cloaked figure entered the stadium which was almost empty. The cloaked figure was out in the battlefield area of the stadium where the pursuer also stopped with their Pokemon out and ready to stop this figure. The mysterious figure grinned as it snapped his figured and down from the skies came a Tyranitar! The kaiju-like Pokemon roared menacingly and its cry echoed through the stadium.
The Tyranitar stared their opponent down and the pursuer glared at the cloaked figure. "Return what you stole," the pursuer was none other than a girl and she was quiet upset, "their mothers are looking for their eggs and you have them...return what you stole." The mysterious figure did not say anything and instead just continued to grin as it showed a bag that was filled with Pokemon eggs; presumably these were the eggs of the enraged Dragon Pokemon. The cloaked figured pointed forward as if ordering Tyranitar to attack! The girl glared at the figure and got ready to start the battle. Retrieving the eggs was her top priority and with the eggs safe then surely it would help with calming down the berserk dragons...maybe.
There were two choices to be made today: help stop the dragons or help stop the mysterious figure. Neither choice was wrong, but what would the students of Ordell decide to do?

Marcu' eyebrows shot up when Elijah appeared at his side demanding an explanation. He was so surprised by the anger in his friend's tone that he forgot for a moment that he was angry. "What'd you mean? They've been hassling me for months," he said chewing on his bottom lip in what was already forming as regret. "And you know Kirisi really did say something like that to Rey. That's why he's been acting like a Shuppet with our names on its grudge list," he said his worry and dread of what would happen now that Ray wasn't on speaking terms with him coming through in his tone although there were remnants of the anger that had been there, curling around his words like smoke from a recently put out fire. It died down rather quickly when Elijah said they should get to the arena. "yeah okay" Marcus said eyes not meeting Elijah's. The last thing he wanted was to make HIM mad too. ( First Kirsi, then Harvey, then Koru, then Ray...the list of people he made upset seemed to just keep growing)
He walked alongside Elijah to the arena, holding on to Valiant a bit tighter than he usually did.
They barely made it in before they had to come back out again. Marcus sucked in a breath when he saw the officers speaking to people. For a moment, he felt like he was back in Kanto where his cousins and uncle Coop lived. That entire branch of the family ( and a bit from his father's side) had gone into law enforcement as a career so it was a common occurrence for him to see cops around when he visited ( his cousins always resented it. Said they got busted twice as easily because everyone in the precinct knew who they were. Marcus was inclined to agree. As he had a similar problem with the Rangers of Kanto.) But these police officers didn't know his name. They were speaking to the crowd about a Dragon attacking the city and trying to evacuate them. Marcus knew from stories from his parents and uncles that disobeying orders like that could be foolhardy, although a part of him wanted to see the dragons. "We should look for the others," Marcus said eyes already fleeting around to try and catch anyone he knew. He held his poke-gear in his hand and tried to go through his contacts and see if anyone from class E had messaged him.

Eli had some trouble listening to Marcus right now, after seeing what he had done moments before with the girls,"Yeah I know that but..."It wasn't like the girls weren't at fault either, but the way this happened, they didn't even do anything but get in his line of sight. Marcus continued to speak his mind about the girls, reminding him of the things Kirsi had told Ray. He'd be lying if he wasn't hurt by it too, after everything Ray's been through he just wanted all of this to stop. The boy's tone slowly turned angrier as he spoke, Elijah gritting his teeth,"...that...that doesn't mean you can just go after them like that! You didn't have to walk over to them and cause something- BUT you did, and now things will only get worse, nothing will get better we just keep making IT ALL WORSE!"he gasped and bit his lip, did he just yell that last part? For the first time in a while he didn't hold his tongue... Marcus completely avoided eye contact with him when it was time to leave for the match, why did he have to let it out now? He followed him towards the waiting area. The quiet between them was immediately becoming awkward, but he feared of letting anything else out to say anything. He practically jumped out of his skin hearing a siren and then police officers taking them right back to where they were. He had only managed to catch what others were saying about dragons attacking the district. He found it hard to believe dragon pokemon attacking unless they had a reason. Booms were making their prescence known from the outside. Marcus finally spoke to him and said he was going to contact anyone he could to find them, but the first person that came to mind was Ray. He wasn't at the stadium- could he be outside? He bit the inside of his cheek, his brother would never do something so foolish. He started in a sprint for the door, avoiding people as they pushed around in his way. He called back to Marcus,"I'm going to go find Ray!"
Ray was angry at them, they hadn't spoken, but he was still his friend. He had to find him, with the state he's in something horrible could happen. Despite his anger at Marcus, if something with Ray didn't go right when he found him at least Marcus wouldn't receive the blunt of anything. He made it to the doors and released Yena from her pokeball. She barked happily only for a moment before she growled and pounced hearing the chaos. Eli gave her a serious look and ordered,"Yena can you use Odor Sleuth to find Ray? I know it's been a while but do you remember his scent?"
She pointed her nose in the air and started to sniff around. One amazing thing about her was her sense of smell, one of the reasons his brother had a Mightyena as a partner. She stopped then yelped as a sign she found a lead and darted off,"Great job girl let's go!"He rushed off, not knowing exactly was out there, but he knew what he had to do.

Kirsi's focus was entirely upon Chance and the battle, the roars of the crowd muffled and distant. Keeping track of so many pokemon while battling was hard, harder than she'd realized it would be. She had to warn Chance of attacks, tell him what to do, who to attack and how, and keep an eye on the other pokemon and Cyril's pokemon and- Kirsi realized she should be paying attention to Cyril, her partner. Just like that her hearing returned, just soon enough to pick up the might roars echoing from outside the stadium. "What..." ...was that?
"Chance!" she called out. The growlithe's ears perked, and he leaped back away from the other pokemon to get enough space to shoot Kirsi a questioning look. There was another roar, this time followed up by the blaring of the speaker system. When Officer Jenny appeared, it finally began to sink in that something was going on. But what about the tournament? She was so keyed up, practically buzzing with energy. For a brief moment that energy directed itself as anger at Officer Jenny for stopping the tournament. The feeling fled as fast as it had appeared. She shot Cyril a confused look, though her eyes also hinted at her ranger blood that was awakening.
She told Chance to keep close to her side as they evacuated, directed towards one of the tunnels that led from the arena to the outer areas. The walk to the exit was long, and in that time the stadium had emptied out surprisingly quick. Kirsi lingered at the end of the tunnel, figuring her best chance of finding anyone would be once there were less people around. It was Chance that suddenly stopped and turned. "Chance? C'mon, we gotta-" She cut off. In turning to look at Chance, she had also caught sight of a cloaked figure ducking into the stadium. "Cyril," she said urgently, tugging gently on his sleeve, since he was still close by. Not long after a girl appeared, and from where they stood they could hear everything. Kirsi caught Cyril's eyes with her own determined pair. It was clear she was thinking of running out there to help.

Tera had eventually met up with Ava in the arena, but apparently the tag team tournament was cut short. Well, that sucked. She was really looking forward to fighting along side her too. "I wonder what happened..." What really got her curious though was what were causing the noises outside of the stadium and if they were connected to the cancellation. Being told to evacuate but not giving the reason why didn't help sate or satisfy her curiosity. She wanted to know and little did she know that she would find out why so soon. Just as she was about to join the rest of the crowd outside the stadium, the girl heard a roar coming from the center of the battlefield. What she saw next was a giant green dinosaur-like Pokemon commanded by a hooded figure, ready to attack a girl who didn't have a Pokemon out. For all the pink haired girl knew, that person could've been defenseless to protect herself. She had to do something to help! "We gotta do somethin' Ava!" That was all she told Ava before she took action. Before she could carefully think of a plan, her body started to move to the center of the field next to the girl, as if on autopilot.
"HEY! Pick on someone yer own size ya big bully!" Blood rushed to her head as the girl's voice boomed in anger, loud enough to be heard around the area. Finger pointing and all, the pink haired girl didn't stop to think that she might be walking into a Pyroar's den and thought more about helping the supposed Pokemonless person. That was what she was taught after all, to help, for better or for worse. Sure the fearsome roars were intimidating her, but she was in too deep to back down now! Or rather she was far too stubborn to run at this point to do so. She knew that she couldn't beat them, but she could at least provide a distraction. Pulling out her Pokeballs, she released both Hoppu and Flare. The two Pokemon stood, like their trainer, slightly afraid but not backing down from the upcoming battle. "I'll keep 'em distracted" she said loud enough for only the girl to hear, with the intention of giving enough time for her to escape.

The walk to the battle arena was awkward at best and Marcus couldn't quite keep himself from beating himself up internally about it. He had made Elijah mad despite not wanting to. He had made everyone mad. He usually wasn't even the confrontational type it was just with the worry for Ray building and him not being able to tell anyone he had just been so....mad. No not even mad. He was upset. He was upset and nothing was getting better. And now he made Elijah mad. And this whole thing was so I'd make it up to him for not catching up with him in the last tournament. "Look I',m sorry" he said before a blaring alarm cut him off. Before he knew it they were back out. And Elijah was saying he was going to find Ray. Right Ray. "Yo Eli ,wait up" Marcus said trying to navigate his way around the crowd to keep up with his friend, before long, however, something else caught his attention. A girl was in the center of the arena fending off a hooded figure on top of a Dragon Pokemon. Part of Marcus' brain went to identifying the Pokemon ( Tyranitar. Dragon type. Heights can reach up to Six feet. Armor like hide and deeply territorial. Has been known to give Rangers trouble and it takes a lot to subdue.) but most of it was staring as the girl demanded something from the figure. "E We should help her" he said only to realize Elijah was no longer there. "Elijah?" he had gone ahead and the growing crowd had hidden him from view. Marcus stood on tiptoes and stretched his neck up trying to locate the Flygon student to no avail.

"Tera?!" Marcus' head wiped around at the source of the voice. Sure enough his friend was running into the thick of things apparently of the same mind as Marcus but with the much more initiative. That cinched it for Marcus. There was someone getting hurt and everyone was too distracted by the Dragon attacks to notice. Where were the Officers? ( Jenny or otherwise. After all, Marcus had enough family in the Police Force to know not all cops were blue-haired women....unless his uncle Coop had something to tell them this Thanksgiving. Although he was sure he had at least Three Jenny's in his family as distant aunts or courtesy aunts at least in Jhotho) But there were no officers with the girl even as Tera rushed in. "Tera!" he called out running to keep up and getting to the mysterious person and the girl they were attacking just a few seconds after she did. Up close, the dragon looked even more intimidating. Marcus licked his lips before glancing back at Tera who had all her Pokemon out and was looking at the Pokemon determinedly. Marcus took out his ducklett, hesitated for a bit, then took out the Ekans that was by all intents and purposes still the baby of his party. "Stay with them" he told them both before taking out his gear. "I'm gonna try to get closer, see if I can scan it" His dex often gave them the nature and type of Pokemon right? Not to mention the attacks it had. Maybe if Marcus got closer he could tell Tera what attacks and nature they had. She had been in a tournament so maybe she knew how those worked? With Valiant hanging onto his shoulders Marcus approached the Dragon Pokemon.

Iris was getting ready to react to the first attack when everything was made to stop. Iris looked from her position on the battle stage as it was announced that the battle tournament was canceled and that they were to be moved to designated safe zone. She gulped as she picked up Ling. Something had happened. She didn't know what was happening. She looked at Maria before looking that the two she was battling... Well was suppose to be battling. Iris looked around the field before she caught herself. She was looking for Marco and Silvano instinctively as she was shuffled out of the arena. Now that was it was quiet, she could hear more noises coming from the town. What was happening?!
Iris started to feel a cold sweat come over her. So crowded. So noisy and confusing. She needed some clarity...She wanted to know what was happening on a day that seemedso normal.
It seemed she got her answer when a Tyranitar appeared in the battlefield where she just was. That got more people moving and Iris in the rear as she could see that a girl was facing a hooded person with the pokemon. As vague as it seemed, it looked like the girl needed help. Against her better judgment, Iris ran against the stream of the crowd and towards the danger.

Good thing Iris wasn't the only 'foolish' person as Iris was greeted by the sight of Tera, Marcus, Krisi and some others. Tera had already spoken about picking on something their own size... when there were no pokemon its size.
"They need help....." Iris as she started to rep herself up. "I need to help them."
Ling made the decision for Iris, wriggling out of her hold and flying to the frontline with the other pokemon. Iris ran up to the other students, letting out Bebe. Iris wasn't sure if she should run up to the girl or stay with the students... Bebe and Ling were being more decisive than she was...

At one moment, they were battling and then it turned into chaos when roars of dragon echoed. What? Cyril froze as he listened. Excitement turned to dread in an instant. Deep rooted instinct recognized sound of predator, a furious one at that. More bone chilling roars could be heard over the crowd.That's . . . this is an attack, he knew even as sound of explosion could be heard, confirming that something is wrong out there. Their battle had stopped and he saw that his opponent was as baffled as he was over the situation. There was no point in continuing this battle anymore, not with what they all clearly heard. They, he, needed to leave as soon as possible and seek shelter. His gaze went to Siegrid who had stopped moving, the sneasel's ears flicking back and forth in agitation and hackles raised. Not a moment too soon, Officer Jenny called over the megaphone for evacuation. "Sieg," Cyril called his sneasel, the pokemon ignored him, "SIEGRID!" he called and shouted to similar inattention. No good, Siegrid was too agitated to listen to him and so Cyril returned him to his pokeball for Sieg's safety. His grip over it sleeks with sweat, fear coiled in his heart. Deep breath, exhales, deep breath, exhales. He just needed to follow direction of the officer and it would be alright. Briefly, he noted how Kirsi and the rest of them were ushered away. He fell into step behind Kirsi, finding assurance in familiar company. He needed to have a grip to himself, don't falter. His mind knew even as his heart feared. This wasn't a time to be panicking, save that for later, for now, he needed to keep a steady mind.
The stadium was nearly empty by the time they were in front of the tunnel leading outside. He didn't think they took that long to walk and he found he doesn't care as long as he was out of here. A glimpse of a cloaked figure and his pursuer zipping pass them reinforced his choice. Nope, he won't be getting caught in crossfire. He could hear everything, but one look at that tyranitar, yeah, no, that's suicide. Kirsi though, unfortunately had different idea. He met her gaze when she turned to face him. There's fire in her eyes, a contrast to his steely gaze. He wasn't sure how he knew of her intention, but he did. "Are you crazy?" he returned her gaze with disapproval. "Our pokemon won't last an attack from THAT," he gestured to tyranitar, "if they even survive the attack," he pointed out that their pokemon could die and they alongside them.
"Oh for all that is holy," Cyril cursed at the idiot who had charged into the foray with loud proclamation. It was as if a dam had been broken. One by one, his fellow academy student stepped into battle. His gaze returned to Kirsi after witnessing display. "You are still going, aren't you," he sighed in resignation. Even if he didn't want to get involved, he couldn't just leave on his own like that when his fellow classmate were placing themselves in danger. He would feel he was abandoning them. Sieg was better sitting out of this battle from how he acted earlier, so he was down to Aisha which he released.

The moment the commotion started, Lillipup rushed from her spot on the field to her trainer. Maria held onto Espurr at that point a little nervous of the situation. Lillipup could sense this and had pretty much gone into protective mode. When they were told to move to the safe zone Maria had a hard time getting herself to move. The roaring quickly snapped her out of that. Lillipup parked in response. They needed to get out of there. “Come on Lillipup.” She told her finally as she followed after Iris.
When a hooded figure and a girl ran into the stadium it seemed to catch the brown pup’s attention. “Pup?”(Uh?) Lillipup turned and ran after the mysterious figure. “Lillipup!” Maria shouted after her canine companion. Espurr looked on with big curious eyes completely lost in thought like always. A roar shook the stadium and it only made Maria run faster after her friend. Whatever made that noise most certainly wasn’t on Lillipup’s level.
Running into the stadium Lillipup joined her fellow Pokémon. Maria found herself before slowing to stop beside Iris. Her slowed movement was mostly because of the large size of the armor Pokémon. It was far larger then Lillipup was. The brunette quickly noted that Kirsi and Cyril were still there along with some others. That wasn’t including the girl and the mysterious figure. “Espurr?”(Should I help?) The feline in Maria’s arms asked looking up at her. “Pup!”(Yes!) The canine answered her fellow Pokémon partner. The Flygon girl looked down at Espurr before giving a nod and letting him go. If Iris could let Bébé fight in this battle, then she could let Espurr battle as well.
“Are we really going to do this?” Maria asked out loud. Whether it was directed at Iris beside her or even anyone in on their side, it was largely up for debate. The ten year old was nervous. Not one for battling it was a comfort zone. She didn’t like fighting and she certainly didn’t want to fight a Pokémon that was at a much higher level. What choice did she have though? This girl needed their help. What kind of person would she be if she didn’t at least try to help?

Cyril's words urged Kirsi to look towards the large tyranitar again. Wicked spikes running down its spine, arms thick enough to snap a tree in two with claws on the end long and sharp. Looking at the beast, she could feel the beating of her heart, the shaking of her hands from fear and bravery. Maybe they were the same thing. She may have hesitated, from Cyril's words, because they rang of truth. But in that split moment, others rushed forward; even Marcus was there. By Kirsi's feet, Chance seemed to be straining against his instincts, keeping himself by her side by sheer force of will as he watched Lillipup run off towards the tyranitar.
Kirsi turned back to Cyril and nodded. "We can't leave everyone," she said, using "we" without thinking. Maybe Cyril would have persuaded her to reason, if it had just been them. But Kirsi was not going to sit around while her friends and classmates and mortal enemies Marcus buttface fought. "Cyril, you're right though, it's strong." She remembered back to her first battle with him, and planning for their battle with Maria and Iris. "What do you think?" she asked. He knew her pokemon, she'd talked over their strengths with him. She still felt he had good strategy and tactics in battle, and looked to him for a plan that was better than her first instinct to just rush in.

It lives in nests made from demolished mountains." It was an opponent that they currently stood no chance against, especially if it used earthquake. His gaze went toward another possible choice, the thief. There's high chance the tyranitar wasn't his by the lack of instruction so far, though the thief could simply store his pokemon in his pokeball. What we should do is stop the thief instead, even then, the thief can release more pokemon if we confront him, we should expect it to be on the level of tyranitar," He made sure that Kirsi didn't underestimate the thief. "If we want to do this we will need to blitz him before he can react. The two of us should talk to him as distraction while we sneak pokemon behind to separate him from those eggs, but I don't think they can catch all of the egg once they are violently knocked away . . . we will be too preoccupied to prevent the thief from releasing his pokemon then to see the egg safe . . . " it was a problem. Pokemon egg, dragon type at that should be sturdy enough that it wouldn't crack from a fall, but he wasn't sure if it was a good idea to risk them.
