The tribe of cells and cores would turn expectantly towards the gathered Snagems, a visible look of relief on their singular eyes before it turned to disappointment. The dancing would slow as some sort of realization crossed the cell's minds, the cores quietly gathering behind one of the cells before tackling the thing into the glowing orb of energy. The cell would fade for a moment as the energy consumed it before it returned to existence and began to float for a moment. Then, as Zac had disappeared, the charged up cell too shot off through the tunnels past the Snagems with a purpose that was palpable. The Snagems had to beware as a small torrent of green cells with their trio of core leaders streamed after the glowing one, the ground visibly churning and shaking under the united and powerful dragging of the cells before a few rocks began to tumble loose from the ceiling.

"Retreat! Follow the green cell and retreat!" Aria cried out, having picked up Leslie in her arms before using the hybrid as a club against the falling rocks. "Ow! Hey! I'm not a baseball bat!" Leslie growled, cut out as she smashed another rock from Aria's swinging. "Shut up! You don't have a delicate, marketable face that these rocks could wreck! You could get hit by a car and still look adorable!" Aria snipped back, charging out as the rumbling from the Zygarde collective began to really make the cave shake and rumble. Maybe it was time to get out.

"What? Look, just try to explain-" Amaranth would be cut off as the whole blobby group shot off, the ground's shaking making her lose her footing. She'd barely end up out of their way, only for a rock to start falling towards her. That is, until Cera suddenly shoved it away with a quick psychic burst.

"Yeah, what Aria said! I dunno if they're trying to tell us something, but I think "get out" goes without saying!" Cera spoke up, helping Amaranth up as they both rushed after the cells. They were both mindful of the rocks as they hurried onward, though the confusion was pretty apparent.

"Son of a-!" Lykas yelped, tentacles arcing up and over himself, tangling around one another into a makeshift shield. "Let's go!" He told Odd, grabbing the Ghost channeler and dragging him after the mass that Zac had become. Odd, meanwhile was busy trying to deflect falling stones, a ghostly spear in hand as he struck the rocks aside like baseballs, following after Lykas and he others, neither far behind Cera and Amaranth.

"I got the feeling he...it...they...whatever don't want to come back with us." Freth commented.

"That is the least of my concerns now! Move it!" I shouted.

"Can we ever go somewhere without something falling apart!?" Tristen shouted as we all ran off.

"Tristen, how long have you been with us now!?" I shouted back.

"Oh, for fu-"

Without an explanation, I grabbed Keiko's arm and started booking it toward the exit. I generally didn't care much for retreat, but I wasn't willing to risk Keiko's life let alone my own over this crap.

"Zac!" Allen shouted when the Zygarde flew up and made the cave start quaking with whatever insane ground chi he had lying around in his form. Out his element, Allen looked around and made the only action he could by starting to race out of the cave with the others. If only he could do more! Still he was limited and making mistakes. He bit back a swear.

On the bright side, his three month ninja training camp made him more agile than before. Where a rock would have struck his back and the wind out of him, Allen rolled out of the way with a Magby in his arms. "Maybe he's scared." It was hard to get his head around about what a hive mind based legend might be thinking. Did Zac even think at all? Or did all the little parts of him communicate with each other directly in unison?

Allen kept one hand on the baseball bat strapped to his back. As a channeler, he was weak and his element was useless with the ground, but something felt wrong about all of this.

Isaac Hawking

Looking up at the crumbling ceiling, Isaac took a moment to glance at Darts. "Time to go," he commented with rather a lot more calm in his voice than might have seemed prudent at the time. Spinning around to face the exit, Isaac followed the rest of the team out, this time with a haste in his actions suitable for the urgency of the situation.

Aria and Leslie would stumble out into daylight, Aria still holding Leslie threateningly as they emerged. "Okay. See where the green shiny is and follow that thing!" Aria told Leslie, hurling the hybrid into the air as she finished, Leslie only able to curse for a moment as she only reached about head level with Aria before crashing back into earth. Well, that was an impressive and futile effort. When the others arrived to actually survey the area, they would find the green streak and the barrage of green cells following the thing quickly covering ground as they made their way towards where Dendemille Town was situated. What could the thing be following?

Keiko and I were far too busy catching our breaths to chase anything at that point in time. "Thanks," Keiko said finally, apparently catching her breath faster than I did. "I don't know if I could have made it out there by myself."

'I'm just glade we did," I retorted, still a little out of it.

That didn't last long, though. "Oh crap, that thing's heading toward a town!?"

"We gotta catch up to it before it hurts someone!" Keiko shouted.

And that's how she and I ended up running again, even though we were both still a bit out of breath.

Darts sidesteps the first big chunks of rocks, but the rest of the team would feel a brief burst of Dragon energy as he uses Outrage to split an enormous boulder that had been headed towards Isaac's head. "Oww..." he complains, shaking his golden fist slightly as they move through the cave and into the outside.

Odd and Lykas were certainly running for their lives as the cave came down around them when, just shy of the exit, with daylight in sight once more, a massive boulder came crashing down from the ceiling, landing on Lykas and tearing him from Odd's grip. "LYKAS?!"

The ghost channeler screamed as he tried to push the enormous rock but it was just too heavy. "Help!" He shouted, frantically trying to move the gargantuan hunk of earth that had pinned his beloved to the ground.

"You forget I'm kinda made of water?" The voice was a bit muffled and certainly sounded rather wet as it came from behind him but it was unmistakably Lykas. Spinning on his heel, Odd saw the hybrid standing there, mostly clear water but with what could only be described as a grin plastered on his face.

"Eh....Actually.....ya. I always forget that part....." Odd replied, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment. "So....."

"Let's go after that legendary dog." Lykas finished, finally beginning to grow more opaque as he solidified into his normal form. "By the way."

Odd blushed when Lykas kissed him on the check as they ran. "I've never seen you freak out over me like that.... It's kinda cute to know you actually worry about me sometimes."

"Sh-shut up!" Odd countered, trying not to let it be seen as his face grew hot. Why was this so embarrassing?!

Tristen, Freth, and I rushed for the exit as fast as we could. Much to anyone's fears, though, in the panic to rush out before the cave collapsed on anyone, Tristen trips and fell down onto the ground, hurting himself in the process.

"AAA! Blizz!"

I took notice out the corner of my eye, and skidded to a stop. "Freth, keep going!" I shouted, rushing back towards Tristen, then snatching the boy up, firing a couple of ice beams towards rocks that threaten to harm any one of us. "Come on, get up." I said, pulling the boy up and carrying him out of the cave finally.

When we were finally in the clear, I gave a hard sigh of relief then took a look at Tristen. Freth came over. "Are you two alright?"

"I'm fine." I said, taking a look at Tristen.

"My leg hurts..." Tristen said. I sat the boy down and took a look at him. Through the fur, I noticed it bleeding out a bit.

"You scraped it good. Geez...hold on." I said, taking off my pack. As I was tending to Tristen, Freth took notice to the skies. "Is that Zygarde?" Freth asked.

The neon green glow was heading off, towards a nearby town for some reason. "I really grow tired of this blasted goose chase." I said. "Why is it running? We haven't done anything wrong to him; I'd like to believe we've been doing alright by it."

"I don't know." Freth said. "Maybe it didn't like us anyhow. I mean, it did stay cooped up in the headquarters the entire time."

"With many people and Pokemon that wouldn't mind another friend?" Tristen then asked as he gritted his teeth, looking at his leg again, trying to nurse it in his own way.

"Tristen, stop picking at it, you're making it worse." I said to him. "Move your hands. At any rate, I'll be a few minutes. Follow it, see what's got its attention." I said to Freth.

"Alright." She said, running off.
