The Bug Buzz would cause the Raticate to squeal in pain and the Body Slam would send the other one scurrying to flee out from underneath monster. Fortunately the one physically hit didn't seem infected, at least not yet. "Rat, Scary Face on the Butterfree! Slow it down for Cate. And you, hit it with a Thunder!" The kid ordered. Rat would jump up and produce the scariest face it could to startle the Butterfree, hopefully to distract it long enough to be hit by the large bolt of electricity Cate sent towards it.
The battle seemed to be going fine, everything pretty normal. The crowd was roaring and all was right. However, Connor's SNAG would go off and GRAY would speak to him.
"Someone in the stadium is Channeling and obviously it's none of you." He alerted him. "Look alive and turn your head to the right, second story balcony towards the entrance. It's someone over there I'm pretty sure. Might be your girl, provided you actually get lucky and manage to do something useful for once."
Should Connor look over in that direction he would see a bunch of people cheering and going wild. That balcony seemed to be packed with mostly older people but they were still lively when it came to battles. That said, one person stood out. A girl with red hair. She didn't seem too enthused by the battle but she was very close to the rail and her stare was fixated on the Pokemon. After awhile of staring, but never diverting her sight, she took out a P*DA and typed a message into it, then pocketing it and walking off rather quickly, making her way for the stairs which would lead her out of the coliseum. Convenient that she picked the balcony closest to the exit. Might that be her? She was acting funny.

Beau would stare at the SNAG in his hands for a moment before his eyes lit up at the prospect of actual work. Taking off towards where he had scouted out the exit that would put him right near that balcony, Beau would leap down before waiting at that exit. All he needed to see was someone who stood out to him and was young and girl-shaped and he had his target. Probably. Well, he would at least be out here and still able to do his other job.

Connor was watching the battle closely when his SNAG began to ring. Fishing the device out of his pocket, his eyes still glued to the battle, he would receive GRAY's message. Parting his view from the field, he would see a redhead that didn't seem as into the battle as everyone else. He would watch her for moment until she made her way to the stairs. Seeing Beau jump down to give chase, he headed for the stairs to cut her off. She seemed likely to be their girl and this way it would lessen the odds of losing her.

The girl would suddenly stop dead in her tracks as she spotted Beau standing in front of the exit. While she didn't expect to find someone blocking the exit she certainly didn't expect a butterfly man. Her immediate reaction was to whip around and go the other way but when she did she saw Connor standing behind her. She was trapped.
"Um...excuse me, just trying to uh...get by." She said with the most fake smile in history.

Beau would blink a few times at the girl attempting to play it cool in front of him. "Sweetheart, if I bought a single line of that Tauros dung, I'd ask my friend behind you to kick me in the head. " Calmly placing a hand on her shoulder, Beau would give a small nod. "Now then, we are going to calmly and carefully ask you some questions about your boyfriend. And we are doing that before anyone else shows up who might want to do so less gently than us."

While Beau had closed the distance between him and the girl, he cautiously looked around when he brought up the others who were looking for her. If they were really after her too, then it was likely they could show up any second. "Let's move someplace private. It's too open here" he suggested.

"Boyfriend? Ha, you must have me confused." She said, nervously but a little more confident. She kept darting her eyes around as if looking for something, or someone. Didn't she send a message to someone earlier? Maybe Connor had the right idea, they should move.

Beau would stare quizzically at the woman's searching eyes as it seemed like she was having a spasm. Did she need medicine? Oh wait right, she has backup. And had been noticed by GRAY for channeling. "Connor. I don't think we need to move to find the guy who stole our tech.I get the feeling that Rui here just summoned him up to catch Ammy's Shadow Pokemon down there. Now then, lets just wait and see. Also.." Beau would attempt to grab the PDA in Rui's pocket to keep the messaging device out of her reach and speak some more if he managed to get it. "You get this back when we pin down your boy toy or you explain where he managed to get a Snag Machine."

"I'm actually more worried about more of those goons showing up" he would voice his concern, still remaining ever vigilant. Course they would stick out like a sore thumb, granted they remained in get up. "As long as we have her as leverage, getting the Snatcher will be easy." To that end, Connor was going to make sure Rui didn't get away or taken from their hold.

"I'll scream if you don't leave me alone!" The girl hissed, growing defiant. Connor and Beau wouldn't have much time to mess with her as shouts and screams were heard coming from the battlefield. "I'm over here!" The girl shouted, as if she already knew what was going on over there and who was causing it. Connor and Beau probably knew too.

As the battle between Amaranth and Joseph raged on the audience continued to cheer them on. It was so loud in the coliseum and everyone was so focused on the battle that no one saw a certain man shatter and enter through a third floor window, making his way to a taped off balcony. From there he would launch his attack, the area around the battlefield suddenly become pitch black as he ordered his Pokemon to execute a Night Shade as it dropped down onto the field.
"Ariados!" Hissed the spider as it scurried towards Amaranth's Butterfree, picking out the weakest of the two, attempting to restrain it as the spider launched a Spider Web at it.

The Snagems in Phenac might find themselves caught by surprise when a certain blue-skinned tentacle boy made a sudden appearance. Riding in on his Luxray, he made his appearance in a flash of lightning, illuminating the area.
Releasing another of his Pokemon, he called for a counterattack. "Cordelia, Rock Tomb!" He called to his Relicanth as she appeared from her ball. The Longevity Pokemon let out an ancient, growling cry as stones erupted from the arena floor around the Ariados. "Whoever decided it was fair to attack in the dark needs to take a few lessons in fair play." The Jellicent hybrid called to the stadium at large, trying to pick out whoever might have caused this, releasing his Castform at the same time. "Sunny Day. Turn the lights back on, please." He requested, the Weather Pokemon releasing an orb of pure light into the sky with a cheerful nod.
Where had he come from? Ironically enough, he had been in the area to watch the battles going on for some ideas to train his own Pokemon later.

Beau would let a small sigh through his lips, dropping a Pokeball at his feet before glancing at his Fletchinder. "Back on the roof. You hear me yell, you light it up."He ordered, keeping his hand on Rui's shoulder as he turned his gaze towards the coliseum, where the sound of sudden conflict was now erupting. Either Amaranth had more Pokemon than she was willing to admit or another Snagem had been in the crowd. Lazy guy hadn't even said a thing when GRAY had messaged them.
He had Rui in hand and was prepared with his own surprise to trap the man in the coliseum. All he needed now was the others to keep things under control while he tried to settle things out. And where had Larry gone?

SubonicXP As the battle between Amaranth and Joseph raged on the audience continued to cheer them on. It was so loud in the coliseum and everyone was so focused on the battle that no one saw a certain man shatter and enter through a third floor window, making his way to a taped off balcony. Hissed the spider as it scurried towards Amaranth's Butterfree, picking out the weakest of the two, attempting to restrain it as the spider launched a Spider Web at it. The last Butterfree would see before total darkness was an intimidating face from Rat, and though he was more hesitant than before, it didn't matter much when it couldn't see at all and suddenly felt the Thunder attack crash down on him. He'd end up on the ground, struggling to get up and reduce his assailant to tatters. That is, before the Spider Web snared him, causing him to struggle all the more to no avail. Tropius would, surprisingly, back off. Even in his desire to go on a rampage, the darkness proved to be an issue. In fact, he was attacking wildly in all directions, swinging his head and tail around. Though all he'd hit was thin air as no one was close enough to be caught up in it, it was still an element of danger that couldn't be afforded at a time like this. Amaranth would've recalled him, but the inability to see or tell where anything was without hearing it meant it wasn't an option. "What...? Who's there!?" She yelled, unable to make out much more than her rampaging Pokemon, some voice that she couldn't really recognize, and something skittering near.

"Dos!" The Ariados hissed after it dodged the bulk of the Rock Tomb, just one of its legs getting crushed under a rock and while it was able to pull it out it looked pretty hurt. With the area now illuminated the people started to shout and point as they noticed someone standing on the closed off balcony. "The Steel Snatcher!" Several screamed. Knowing that his cover had been blown the man would whistle, his Ariados responding by shooting a String Shot up towards the ceiling and cut it off so it dangled there. Once that was done he recalled his Pokemon and used the string as a rope to swing and jump off of the balcony.
The Steel Snatcher would swing until he has over Beau, Connor, and Rui before letting go. As he dropped down he would release Ariados again who would grab a hold of him and fire off another String Shot to sure they had a safe landing. "Blast that one away" He ordered upon landing, his Ariados' eyes glowing as it unleashed a Psychic attack against Beau. With him taken care of the Steel Snatcher moved in to take a swing at Connor.
Seeing an opening Rui would attempt to escape into the crowds, in hopes of losing them.

The infamous Steel Snatcher had finally revealed himself, attacking the field with an Ariados. However, his attention went from the shadow pokemon to Rui, the man leaping from the closed balcony and swinging from a thread provided by his Ariados. His spider was sent to attack Beau, Connor brandishing a pokeball to fight back. As he called on his Meditite, the Snatcher would approach and swing at him. Not one to back down from a challenge, he intercepted his swing with an open palm strike to his arm and redirect the attack. With his free hand, Connor would follow through with another palm strike to his assailant's jaw. "Asura! Don't let her get away!" "Medi!" the Meditate pokemon would acknowledge her trainer's command, taking off after Rui.
