Name: Aruná
Meaning: the glow of the rising sun
Player: Annchen

Personality: Aruná takes pride in being independent and in being a good hunter. She can be hot headed if you push the wrong buttons, and she doesn't always think ahead but is rarely mean on purpose. She's not sure how to fit in with her new pride yet.

Background: Aruná was Minder raised and never learned much about her parents. She knew that they died in The War, but she was a little fussy on the details, and isn't sure what a war really is. However, this didn't stop her from filling in the blanks and dreaming up stories about her parents. In fact, as a cub she loved making up stories about this and that, but mostly about how great she is.

After her pride disbanded she left with her sister and a Mizimu warrior.

Her sister was kidnapped by a band of Stormborn, and after many adventures she managed to find her way there and won a challenge to get in. She's now one of the Stormborn, and more than a little confused about it.

Name: Halvdan
Meaning: Half-done/half-finished in swedish, but as a name it probably meant half-danish or half-scandinavian originally.
Rank: Reaver
Brief Personality: He's your average Viking Reaver, perhaps with some extra over compensating for having a thrall mother. His usual way of solving problems is by hitting them into submission, but he's not stupid and could probably figure out other ways to handle trouble. That is, if he wanted to.

Brief History: He was born in the pride with one Stormborn parent (Torfast, deceased) and one thrall parent (random lioness, also deceased).

He was lost on a viking. Actually, lured away by a mermaid on a viking... After she dumped him he wandered in the roguelands until he was 'rescued' by his kin. He will never tell anyone exactly what happened since he's very embarrassed about the whole ordeal. Looking stupid for getting lost on a Viking is a much better option.

Name: Torbjörn
Meaning: Thunderbear. Don't laugh.

Brief Personality: Torbjörn is a quiet sort, but he takes in everything he hears. He's more of a listener than a talker, but he's far from tongue tied and can be quite eloquent when his rank demands it. He just prefers to keep his mouth shut when he doesn't have a reason to speak. If you ask his brother, Torbjörn is a bit of a stick in the mud, but that's probably because the younger lion have never learned to appreciate Torbjörn's dry sense of humour.

Brief History: Torbjörn's father was a respected Lawspeaker, and it was always assumed that he'd follow that path. His other brothers became reavers or captains when they grew up, and they are all dead or presumed dead by now. His only relative in the pride at the moment is his irresponsible younger brother.

He knows it's proably up to him to marry a nice freeborn girl and carry on the family tradition, but as of yet he haven't made any such moves.

Name: Bifrost
Meaning: The bridge in the sky... So the rainbow or possibly the milky way.
Pride: Myrsky Syntynyt
Brief Personality: Bifrost wants to know everything about everyone, and he enjoys being smack in the middle of whatever drama he can find. (If he can't find any he'll gladly invent some.) He's inherited a hot temper from his mother and is both willing and able to defend his honour if someone should laugh at him for choosing the path of a bard instead of going out and find glory.

Aside from the occasional Holmgang he enjoys grooming, gossiping and flaunting his good looks.

History: Bifrost was born in the pride, and was a spoiled cub since he was the only surviving one in his litter. His parents had him late in life and his only living relative that he knows of is an older brother. He grew up hearing stories, and learning to remember them, but unlike his brother he didn’t follow in his father’s footsteps. Why let "truth" and "facts" stand in the way of a good story?

Name: Truls
Siblings: Thorvald, Tallskog, Enok, Creiddylad and Jura

Personality: Likes to be a smartass, doesn't back out of a fight. He's obsessed with beating his brother Tallskog in everything. It's going so-so.

History: Gaved couldn't keep away from his thrall and managed to knock her up. Luckily for Truls and his siblings, Gaved claimed them as his own. Stygg is now Gaved's saltwife and all the cubs are freeborn. Yay?

Truls finally made reaver after his own brother took him out viking. How humiliating.

Personality and history: Snorre is a fairly laid back male, and he's not very competitive. As a cub he was quite feisty and enjoyed play fighting with friends and siblings.

Name: Tuuri
Pride: Stormborn (original member)
Brief Personality: Tuuri is curious about the outside world and the interesting foreign languages some of the outlanders speak. She can't see herself actually leaving the pride, but she loves to learn about the outlands. She's got a positive outlook on life and is content with her lot in life. Perhaps she'd be even happier as a Lawspeaker, but for now it looks as if she might become the wife of one instead.

Brief History: Born to one of the smaller and less notable Old Blood families, her familys biggest claim to fame is her brother the Captain. He's unortunately been missing in action for some time. Tuuri hopes that his viking will come back any day now, but it's been long enough that they might be lost. Her parents are freeborn and both are older lions.
